Jason had been so caught up in his curiosity with Mike that he hadn't noticed Zinnia sneaking up behind him. He did however notice the expression on Mike's face and where his eyes were looking. If they weren't looking at him or the creature he had kicked then who...?
"...!!"
Jason quickly turned with his machete raised and poised to strike as the rock cracked against the front of his mask. The force Zinnia had put behind it left a very noticeable crack on the front of the mask and a little blood of black blood could have been seen seeping out from under Jason's mask. Still, the rock had done little more than irritate the zombie in the grand scheme of things. With his free hand lashing out, he sought to grab Zinnia by the collar and fling her across the ground. He'd deal with her just like he had dealt with that bug-cat abomination. Stomping towards where Zinnia lay after being hurled away by the serial killer, he stopped midswing as Mike stepped in his path with his arms held out to the side.
"L-LEAVE HER ALONE, MAGGOT HEAD! SHE WAS ONLY TRYING TO HELP ME!"
If this was going to be the last thing he did then he'd make damn sure it was to help someone who had tried helping him. But much to Mike's surprise, Jason stayed his hand and turned away from Mike and Zinnia. Had his demand really reached through to Jason?
Well, somewhat. Jason wouldn't have harmed a hair on Mike's head but would have certainly moved him out of the way if it meant dealing with a sinner.
But it seemed like Jason was going to have more guests due to Mike's cry for help. Turning to face Sledge as he charged at him, Jason reared back his arm to prepare to send Sledge flying back with a blow of his own.
"...?"
Jason couldn't quite understand what was happening here. Yes, people resisted when he tried to end their lives. But they usually ran away from him. Making it all the more drawn out when he simply could have finished them right then and there. Yet, these sinners took the fight to him! The blows rained down upon Jason and stumbled him back and as he saw the blows primarily being aimed at the arm that was wielding the machete, Jason tossed the machete over to his free arm as the other one eventually snapped after Jack's repeated blows.
But Jason wasn't finished with the samurai just yet. Raising the machete, Jason prepared to strike only to be stumbled by the furious Lapis. Little did Jason know of just how angry the bounty hunter was with him. Trying to catch his footing proved to be harder than Jason would have anticipated. As he got a foot back down on the ground, it shuddered and Jason nearly fell flat on his face as a metal covered foot came in and smashed right against his decomposing kneecap. How was this even possible? Normally, it followed a very simple formula. Sinners appeared and Jason struck them down and made his mother proud.
Yet here it was completely the opposite. They weren't running around and screaming their heads off. Instead they were all working together as a group against him. Smashing his other foot onto the ground, Jason's shoulders raised up and down as ragged breaths escaped his mask. They may have decided to fight back but they wouldn't stop him. Nothing would stop him.
Nothing would quench his eternal anger-
Oh.
Another child. Staying his hand once more, Jason made no attempts to resist as Chikage assaulted him. What did surprise Jason though was the effort that she put into attacking him. Going to the extreme of lifting him over her shoulder and smashing him into the ground. As the zombie was now flat on his back and gazing up at the sky with his one good eye, he blinked.
This was all so, so wrong.
But he wouldn't be stopped. Not by this child or any of these sinners! They would pay with their lives and that's all their was too it! Sitting up, Jason snapped his arm back into place with a grotesque cracking and popping sound before gripping back onto his machete with that arm. Not that it really mattered given Jason was ambidextrous.
Rising to his feet, Jason's knee began to work on fixing up the damage Genji had caused as he turned towards those gathered and began to simply walk towards them. With a slow but menacing gait as he kept his machete held at his side..
"..."
Many had tried to keep Jason Voorhees down forever. Many had failed and so would these fools. He would make them pay for what they had done to him and he'd make sure every moment was painful-Jason came to a stop. But not because of any damage done to his person. But more the fact that a small rock had landed in front of him and caught the zombie's interest. Had that been intended to hurt him? Turning his head to see who had thrown it, he would have glanced upon none other than Mike Dawson who had been quiet up to this point. He wasn't really much of a detective anyway.
But he had seen Jason attempting to hurt people and he couldn't stand by and let this happen! He had saved the world from the threat of the Ancients after all! Pointing a finger dramatically in Jason's direction, Mike yelled in his typical whiny voice.
"STOP RIGHT THERE! Why don't you take me on, man to man?"
Was this man serious? It wasn't often Jason was challenged by some boisterous fool but this one didn't even seem like he could throw a decent punch let alone do any considerable damage. Which is why Jason would waste no time on him. It was then that Jason seemed to vanish before the group's very eyes, with only a brief trail of mist indicating where Jason had once been standing.
"OH NO!"
Mike cried out as Jason appeared behind him with his fist cocked back. Knowing that his ticket was going to be punched, Mike clutched onto the chain around Jason's neck and looked him straight in the eye. "Did YOU kill Rita?"
Jason actually paused for a moment to consider. Before deciding it wasn't worth it and simply punched Mike's head clean off his shoulders. The head flew through the air before smashing into a high tree branch and tumbling all the way down. Hurling the body to the ground, Jason turned back towards the others. They'd meet the same fate if he had something to say about it..

Ordinarily, taking down this brute would be nothing to the Genji. It would be over in a matter of moments thanks to the cyborg's massively superior strength, speed and reaction time. Unfortunately, he did not have those assets. Instead, he'd have to take advantage of one thing he had over everyone else present: his durability. While he felt a bit squishier than he ordinarily did, his armor still provided a lot of protection and his cybernetic limbs a lot of strength. He muttered something in horror as the other man was killed, then dashed forward at Jason, going to meet him face to face. "Hajime!" Genji's cybernetic fist flew out in a viciously strong punch at Jason's mask, trying to keep his attention focused on himself, the one person who could probably take a hit and be fine.
