Murder Game XIV: Monokuma's Awakening

Jason had never quite understood how or why he had the strength that he did. But he always made sure to utilize it to it's full potential. Which often resulted in torn off limbs, people getting holes punched through them or heads getting crushed. So to see this rat thing flail around in his arms all the while Jason continued to squeeze on his head confused the zombie more than anything. All Rant's flipping around had done had ended up with his legs on Jason's shoulders.

Something Jason easily shook off as he resumed right back to what he'd been doing. This creature kept confusing him more and more.

Unfortunately, however Jason wouldn't be able to succeed in crushing Rant's head. On account of getting a metal foot smashed into the side of his head and the little girl tugging at his leg. Falling to a knee as a torrent of blood ran down the side of his head where Genji had kicked, Jason decided Rant was no longer worth his time. Pulling his machete back from Rant's grip, Jason smashed Rant into the ground and tried to shake Chikage off him. He still wouldn't hurt the child but this was getting to be a bit much!

Arya's swing caught Jason off guard and shattered the ring that held the straps for his mask together. Causing the mask to tumble to the floor as Jason staggered uneasily on his feet. All these blows to the head were quickly starting to rake up and even an undead serial killer had his limits.

But even as dazed/tired as he was, Jason turned and smashed a fist into Corrin's incoming branch. Splintering it further and getting bits of wood everywhere. Some of them even lodged firmly into Jason's fist. But with the whole blood running down the back and side of his head, he had bigger concerns than a few splinters.

He had seen enough of this group. They weren't normal sinners and didn't fight like them. They were strong and actually worked together against him. Well, with the exception of that strange rat thing. Gripping onto E.Honda's hand as the sumo came in for his technique, Jason sought to pick him up and hurl him at Rant. A goodbye gift before Jason made his own departure and a message to the one who dared try to steal from him.

Looking over his shoulder, Jason watched as Sledge charged at him. Grabbing the man and hurling him away would have been easy enough but Jason was done here. Which is why a trail of mist began to appear at Jason's feet. He sneered at Sledge as the mist slowly began to overtake him.

As Sledge finally went for the tackle, he would have seemingly gone right through Jason and crashed to the ground. If he looked back, he would have seen Jason's hideous visage one last time before he turned into mist and drifted away. Leaving the heroes to lick their wounds.

Oh and also deal with Rant.

"How's everyone?" Honda asked, looking at the group. In particular he went over to little Catbug, wanting to make sure the little guy was all right. He had been pretty silent in the trial, too.

He then turned his attention to the rodent, Rant, moving quickly toward him​

Rant lay in the ground the wind knocked out of him.

Ah, this is gonna suck... He made my job hell.

Rant moved his arm over to his stomach and held it there. Great.

I'll just sit here for a moment. 'Til the headache passes.

Watching as Jason had disappeared from their sights and gone off somewhere, Lapis turned her attention to Catbug, despite how she wanted to get a point through to Rant in the most violent way possible. Gently nudging him, Lapis coughed to the side once again, more blood and crystal shards coming out from this. Even with feeling like her entire body was about to shatter apart from the injuries she got from one blow, she was concerned for the little guy.

"Catbug, you better wake up... this isn't funny, you know!"

It was unjust for the feline to die like this, to die protecting the boy from a monster that one of their own had tried to justify the actions of. However, other than his advice, there was not much more he could do at the moment and so, he moved on, looking for Zinnia among the trees.

Shortly after biting Rant's ankle, Zinnia put her head down and stayed where she was at. Her body aches and she could hardly move. She scanned the area as best she could, glancing upward just in time to see Jason disappear. She wasn't sure if it had really happened or if she had hallucinated from her injuries. Regardless, he seemed to be gone. Knowing this, she made an attempt to stand back up only to fall down in the dirt yet again. Zinnia could feel her head was throbbing and dizzy.

Ugh, I guess I'll just rest for a minute.

"You boys just need a firm hand like mine to calm you down. Isn't that right? Also don't worry, I'll let you go in a bit. All of that fighting you did, I'm just helping you with some stretches."

"You just tried to help a creature that causes nothing but pain wherever it goes" Leaning down, he wraps a hand around the scruff of Rant's collar, hoisting him to his feet, sneering as he drops him "I should kill you for putting our lives at risk. But I believe this will suffice" Drawing a single bone from the lining of his cape, he holds it between a finger and his thumb, snapping it with ease

"Next time, that will be your neck. Am I understood?"

Corrin fell to the ground as the Faceless walked away. Corrin's face was covered in mud, blood, and sweat. She sighed, tossed the broken stick, and slid down against the tree. She closed her eyes. Her hands were red and full of splinters. Her cape was somewhat torn. Her hands hurt, but she would take care of that later. For now, she just wanted to rest.

Without a moment's hesitation, the samurai was at the Pokemon Master's side, trying to help her sit up straight. The worry was evident in his expression as he looked her over, frowning as he noticed the bruises that were beginning to form. "Do you believe you can stand with support from me, Zinnia? It is best if we seek Usami out and see if she has a first aid kit so we can treat you," He honestly hated seeing her like this, without her usual spunk and energy. It felt unnatural to see her so beaten down at the moment.

She then tried to come at him with a grab of some sort. Rant then climbed the tree with the help of his nails and stared down at her.

"Listen carefully. Since coming here what have we found out? You kill and you are killed. If you all killed him someone dies. Sure, defend the weak, but don't pursue evil. Least not here. It doesn't seem smart. I'm going based off what I observed, but when I woke up I had to vote for someone's death right off the bat and reason it too." Rant sat down and continued. "Here it seems to kill is to die, but to kill is to survive still applies. I doubt we'll have a trial for that thing. It's all odd, but you all don't care you just want to punch his lights out because he killed some stranger you just met. Must be nice to be able to have that kind of trust among people who are willing to kill you because someone says something."

But I believe this will suffice" Drawing a single bone from the lining of his cape, he holds it between a finger and his thumb, snapping it with ease

Watching as Jason had disappeared from their sights and gone off somewhere, Lapis turned her attention to Catbug, despite how she wanted to get a point through to Rant in the most violent way possible. Gently nudging him, Lapis coughed to the side once again, more blood and crystal shards coming out from this. Even with feeling like her entire body was about to shatter apart from the injuries she got from one blow, she was concerned for the little guy.

"Catbug, you better wake up... this isn't funny, you know!"

"Perhaps if we found some sort of first aid kit, we could help both you and him?" Jack offered as some way to help the girl who seemed ready to break down due to Catbug's injuries. It was unjust for the feline to die like this, to die protecting the boy from a monster that one of their own had tried to justify the actions of. However, other than his advice, there was not much more he could do at the moment and so, he moved on, looking for Zinnia among the trees.

"Mh..You don't need to yell, Lapis! I'm up!"

Catbug winced as his tiny body was soaked in blood as well. Mainly due to having coughed it up due to Jason kicking him square in the chest. The bounce off the tree hadn't really helped matters either. But he couldn't afford to die here. Not yet...Not when friends still needed him. He struggled to stand on all fours before tumbling over onto his side, his breathing was heavy.

But his wings began to flutter and he slowly took flight as he weakly looked Lapis in the face.

"Are you okay, Lapis? Did that scary man with the mask hurt you? He kicked me and it really hurt!"

Peeking out from behind a tree, Mike Wheeler slowly stepped back into view. The whole fight with Jason had been terrifying and had frightened Mike to his very core. Least of all after he saw that one guy get his head knocked off his shoulders. But it seemed like everything was calming down at the moment...

"Back off." Nigel came and helpfully pushed Darv's leg away from Rant. "He's an idiot but hurting him isn't going to make him less dumb."



"Oh I don't know..." Poison would've kicked Rant to the ground. "Some pain is good..."

Poison would then apply what in wrestling terms was known as a Camel clutch on the poor soul. Hard enough for him to feel it, but not enough to cast any permanent damage.

Truthfully, he observed the rats actions, and had nothing to say on the matter. The discord of one pales into comparison of discord among the entire group, one that Zenyatta feels that he must remedy immediately.

"Miss Poison, it would be most kind of you to let our rodent friend walk without grip."

Zenyatta turned to the rest of the group.

"There is no cure to our injuries through violence, friends."

"Where two are fighting...."

"The third will always win."

Zenyatta wasn't entirely supportive of Rant, of course, glaring down at him. "...and one mustn't throw fists into the darkness," he mused to the rat. The monk would agree with him on his words, however.

"Now, enough of this, let us return to the Visitor Center and rest our minds, shall we?"

Without a moment's hesitation, the samurai was at the Pokemon Master's side, trying to help her sit up straight. The worry was evident in his expression as he looked her over, frowning as he noticed the bruises that were beginning to form. "Do you believe you can stand with support from me, Zinnia? It is best if we seek Usami out and see if she has a first aid kit so we can treat you," He honestly hated seeing her like this, without her usual spunk and energy. It felt unnatural to see her so beaten down at the moment.

Zinnia groaned when Jack helped her sit up and grimaced from his touch. Using the back of her hand, she tried to wipe some of the black blood from Jason off her face. "First a-aid kit would be great," she replied, quietly trying to decide whether or not she could stand or not with Jack's help. "Sure, I'll give it a go. Just be... careful. My insides feel worse than my outside looks." She offered him a weak smile, not wanting him to worry too much. Zinnia mentally began to prepare herself for Jack to help her stand up, knowing it wasn't going to feel very good.

Instead, he could feel his rage subsiding as Rant was paid in kind for his betrayal of them by the hulking figure of Darv. Lapis acknowledged the help and concern from the others, but her attention was immediately taken by Catbug's voice. Good, he was fine after all. She let out a sigh of relief, ignoring the pain she was feeling all over. Ignoring all of the shit going on, she listened to what he had to say, forgetting about how she had been so defiant with bonding or deeming herself as some sort of hero in Catbug's eyes.

"Same here, except I got myself caught in his grasp and thrown over to you like a ragdoll... but I'll be fine. I've dealt with worse... trust me."

Trying to ignore all of the pain, Lapis managed to finally get herself onto her feet, almost flinching at the tinge of exhaustion aching from her sore legs. Wiping the blood off of her face, Lapis tried to make it look like she was fine to the others. However, it was easy to tell that she possibly needed some assistance.

Genji sighed, wiping blood off his hands on the grass. This was going so... Well. He stepped over to the injured, concern evident in his voice. The first question went out to Honda. "Daijōbu?" Are you well? The sumo had taken a hit or two in all that. The others were already being attended to in some regard, and Honda was even ignoring his own possible injuries. Not on his watch.

Are you alright? You had me scared there, for a bit." There was a certain weary playfulness to his tone, though he also sounded a tad worried.
