Chapter 2 – Finding Eden

It would take a few hours for the crew to find the necessary components and another few hours for the Normandy to be completely fixed. When the time came Commander Shepard would contact everyone to head towards the exit of Vault 11111. Once everyone was there they'd see Shepard flanked by some residence of the vault.

"We're ready to go but there's still some business we need to take care off. One of them is what's going to happen with the Vault." She motioned to the people around her. "We gathered up everyone not indoctrinated and they are willing to help us out on the Normandy. The ones who are indoctrinated however are a lost cause. They'd rather kill themselves than step foot in the outside world ever again. We opted to post a warning for any future travel hoping to find sanctuary inside of this place. We also confiscated a large number of their supplies because right now we need it way more than these people."

"With that out of the way there's the voting tally." Shepard took up her omni-tool to look at the final tally. "Seems like Boba Fett got the most votes...and that's not saying much. Fett, you'll be heading to the UN for a quick debriefing and if you don't have anything to hide, you'll be fit to join back with us later."

As she said that Boba Fett would blink away, no doubt having been sent to the UN facility somewhere. "Guys you need to get your head out of your asses." Shepard replied annoyed at the group. "Voting for yourself or abstaining from voting is not helping anyone. Especially not bringing us closer to finding Tali's killer."

She pointed an accusing finger towards them. "Just keep in mind the less you do the easier they'll have to kill every last one of us. On that cheerful note let's get the hell out of here. Next stop...Vault 112."

Later...

The Normandy now fully repaired would have landed at their next destination which seemed to be housed inside of a garage

The castaways followed by a small group of Normandy crew lead by Commander Shepard would head into the garage and down a hatch into to their location.

Vault 112

The trip through the facility was uneventful and they would soon enough end up in a gigantic room with what seemed to be pods scattered all over the room.

Shepard would turn towards Mordin as their resident scientist. "You sure you know what you're doing?"

"Don't worry, studied the research, just step into pods and will do the rest." Legion would assure her as well.

"Shepard Commander. We will do what is necessary for you to survive."

Shepard turned and faced the group. "You heard them, find yourself an unused pod and let's get this started."

As Shepard herself tried to find a free pod she stumbled upon one that seemed to be occupied.

A young girl...she didn't deserve this faith.

After awhile everyone seemed to have found an empty pod Mordin got to work. "Here we go, will stay behind to monitor progress. Try not to die. Eden virtual reality. Still mind makes it real. Might feel a slight sting."

True to his word they would feel a slight sting before they were blinded by a bright white light.

As they regained conciousness they would hear bird song filling the air as well as the soft pouring of a stream. Opening their eyes they'd a see a clear blue sky above them. Realizing they were laying on the ground people would slowly get up to their feet.

"Look lively people." They'd hear Shepard call out to them.



"Welcome to Eden."

Shizuo understood the part about virtual reality just fine. It was just the fact that Eden looking like a village out of the Lord of the Rings books that was bugging him. Was this some sort of dream for the creator of the program?

"Come on, Kofu-chan, Pete, lets go see if we can find someone who can tell us what the hell is with this place."

"Interesting..." Not the whole being a being of energy thing but that last part. "What makes you so sure there was no weapon used?"



Skeletor did not appreciate being floated around like a ragdoll. "Let me down this instant you whiny simpleton! Unless you want me to show you what power I possess!"

"What weapon do you suppose I could use to conjure fire and rip the lady's suit open?" he asks, tapping his tendrils together gently "Other than your staff...Which I couldn't take from you anyway"

He smirks wider, his stripes not even faltering for a moment

"You're trying a little too hard to push the suspicion away, aren't you? Do you fear the outcome of investigation, perhaps?"

As the gravity decreased, the squid's lower tentacles remained latched to the floor, as he turned to the man covered in stars "Do you mind? We're trying to have an important conversation"

I clamber to my feet, the sound of birdsong tearing at my ears. It feels so...asinine....so stranger. Back in the Glades, I never got to hear any animals, aside from the kind that would tear down your door if you owed them money...other people might call them gangs. I reach out to Rey and the others "I was about to ask you the same thing; do any of you have any idea where we are?"

"An ironic joke, huh? The creator does know we need to know the irony to get the joke, right?" Shizuo waved off her warning, not exactly worried about it, "We'll be fine, Commander. If you need me specifically, I'm heading into the village."

Whether his words fell on deaf ears, or whether the younger compatriots around him listened, the brutish man paused at the buzzing of his communicator once more. Having restored the power manually by himself, using what resources were about, the strategist huffed, clenching his hands into fists. Anger boiled in his blood, feeling as if every step of progress he achieved was but a multitude of steps back and back. Looking over at the others in the Science Labs, Bane huffed, adjusting his firmly strapped ballistic vest.

"Come, brothers and sisters, our glorious captain has more formalities for us...."

Well, that was shockingly easy.

From his assumption as the Normandy crashing into this scorched earth, ravaged by human conflict, Bane figured that there would be no answers or solutions here for awhile. But alas, these vaults, these tiny, underground hubs of civilization stood the test of time. Presumably, vital resources had been found by other members of the crew, Bane's normal pessimistic behavior for once reverting to slight confidence. Why, if he wasn't wearing his frightening medical mask, constantly pumping streams of painkillers into his built body, the villein may actually dawn a smile.

"Progress, yes, a common ground we can all stand upon." he noted fiercely, glancing over at Commander Shepherd deeply. Shaking his head lightly, walking past the armored woman, Bane arose into the Normandy's metallic underbelly, gripping a makeshift harness made out of dead wiring hanging down from the steel ceiling. Awaiting in the Cargo Bay, Bane readied himself, watching the others flood into the ship, the revolutionary giving a shaky sigh.

Another step in this tiresome, and now treacherous, journey.

Sunlight.

A paradise fashioned out of the hands of desperate humans, clinging to their old ways of life, as the fire rose and rose. Bane himself could only shake his head, finding distaste in this grand lie. How could anyone with a good conscious dwell into these enforced chambers, locked away, living an existence of lie, yet not feeling the firm rays of reality? With a grizzled growl, Bane dusted himself off a bit, speaking aloud.

"Perhaps it would be wise to go to this...village. I rather leave here soon, this place is pitiful and petite...."

With a murmuring under his breath, the giant of a man walked towards the village.

Ezekiel and Deathstroke hadn't talked a while or where even seen together for a bit but did both stay with those they had in a way been following just because they well could. What Jones had been doing in the mean time was see who may be the best first target to see what cash they had or even an ID. Deathstroke just wasn't his planned target. Then when the two heard all that they didn't really realize they had missed the both stopped whatever it was they were deciding and began to wonder what the best thing to do now was.

Bubba would watch as the others began to filter out of the Vault, one by one. Staring down at the small pup and watching it walk off, the Big Daddy decided it was time to leave as well. With nothing else to do, Bubba lumbered after the group and left the Vault. As he walked, he seemed to have idle thoughts about something, but those were stomped out quickly as Bubba continued to glance at the small pup that looked to him.

Bubba would stomp into Vault 112 and looked around. Golly, each of these Vaults feel like a piece of Rapture. Minus the corpses, ADAM and flooded sections, but Bubba felt uncomfortable to be in this kind of environment without those elements. It just feels empty and silent, and Rapture is surprisingly more noisy than you would expect. Big Daddy doesn't question it all too much though, as it isn't relevant to his job.

When Bubba entered the main room with all the pods, he heard Shepard say some big words for a couple minutes and then watched as all of the smaller folk began to slip into the Pods.

Bubba looked around uncomfortably as he couldn't find a pod that he could actually fit in.

Eventually, at some point, Bubba would find a way to Eden. Whether it be through a direct neural linkup, a bigger pod, or some other big complicated method that Mordin would come up with; Bubba would rest his large body and feel everything grow dark and dim. Outside of Eden, Bubba's porthole lights flickered briefly before falling black and empty...

When Bubba awoke he was...well, staring up at the sky. Wow, is he on a floating city or something?

Bubba's brief fantasy of a floating city would fade as he felt solid ground and grass beneath him. Unlike the others, Bubba had to actually take a couple minutes to rise back up on his heavy feet, the metal leviathan dragging his massive weight and trying to plant his feet on the ground. Eventually he managed to succeed, and now stared upon Eden. Bubba's lights would flash green as he gazed upon the city; it was so pretty! It was certainly more pleasing than Rapture and the vaults.

Bubba decided to grace this city with a jolly tune. Reaching behind to where he stuffed his old-timey radio, Sheriff Bubba would twist the nob slightly. The radio (which somehow made it into the virtual reality) would give off static for a brief moment before suddenly letting out an old, crackled song.

Bubba's lights would grow even greener, as this was one of his favorite songs! The so-called monster seemed more like some kind of jolly metal santa, as he began to lumber into the village, his body bouncing to the beat of the tune.

[Midnight Maiden]

Chapter 2 – Finding Eden

It would take a few hours for the crew to find the necessary components and another few hours for the Normandy to be completely fixed. When the time came Commander Shepard would contact everyone to head towards the exit of Vault 11111. Once everyone was there they'd see Shepard flanked by some residence of the vault.

"We're ready to go but there's still some business we need to take care off. One of them is what's going to happen with the Vault." She motioned to the people around her. "We gathered up everyone not indoctrinated and they are willing to help us out on the Normandy. The ones who are indoctrinated however are a lost cause. They'd rather kill themselves than step foot in the outside world ever again. We opted to post a warning for any future travel hoping to find sanctuary inside of this place. We also confiscated a large number of their supplies because right now we need it way more than these people."

"With that out of the way there's the voting tally." Shepard took up her omni-tool to look at the final tally. "Seems like Boba Fett got the most votes...and that's not saying much. Fett, you'll be heading to the UN for a quick debriefing and if you don't have anything to hide, you'll be fit to join back with us later."

As she said that Boba Fett would blink away, no doubt having been sent to the UN facility somewhere. "Guys you need to get your head out of your asses." Shepard replied annoyed at the group. "Voting for yourself or abstaining from voting is not helping anyone. Especially not bringing us closer to finding Tali's killer."

She pointed an accusing finger towards them. "Just keep in mind the less you do the easier they'll have to kill every last one of us. On that cheerful note let's get the hell out of here. Next stop...Vault 112."

Later...

The Normandy now fully repaired would have landed at their next destination which seemed to be housed inside of a garage

The castaways followed by a small group of Normandy crew lead by Commander Shepard would head into the garage and down a hatch into to their location.

Vault 112

The trip through the facility was uneventful and they would soon enough end up in a gigantic room with what seemed to be pods scattered all over the room.

Shepard would turn towards Mordin as their resident scientist. "You sure you know what you're doing?"

"Don't worry, studied the research, just step into pods and will do the rest." Legion would assure her as well.

"Shepard Commander. We will do what is necessary for you to survive."

Shepard turned and faced the group. "You heard them, find yourself an unused pod and let's get this started."

As Shepard herself tried to find a free pod she stumbled upon one that seemed to be occupied.

A young girl...she didn't deserve this faith.

After awhile everyone seemed to have found an empty pod Mordin got to work. "Here we go, will stay behind to monitor progress. Try not to die. Eden virtual reality. Still mind makes it real. Might feel a slight sting."

True to his word they would feel a slight sting before they were blinded by a bright white light.

As they regained conciousness they would hear bird song filling the air as well as the soft pouring of a stream. Opening their eyes they'd a see a clear blue sky above them. Realizing they were laying on the ground people would slowly get up to their feet.

"Look lively people." They'd hear Shepard call out to them.



"Welcome to Eden."

Shizuo understood the part about virtual reality just fine. It was just the fact that Eden looking like a village out of the Lord of the Rings books that was bugging him. Was this some sort of dream for the creator of the program?

"Come on, Kofu-chan, Pete, lets go see if we can find someone who can tell us what the hell is with this place."

Second Chapter: The god, the VR, & the Murderers

Kofuku, still seeming very pouty about having been pulled away from the vault, had reluctantly boarded one of the pods. It was awfully cramped, likely, to most. But for the petite god, it was not too bad. It felt like a long while before the sensation went through her, but she didn't really notice. When it did, though, she rocked back and forth slightly, patiently waiting to be transported. It was an odd feeling, really, sitting there waiting for the unknown, unaware of what would happen next. It was a thrilling feeling all the same, though, and Kofuku was perfectly happy with it.

The journey was odd, sending a jolt of an unfamiliar feeling through the god. It was stunning, and she could feel the world shifting around her, like her entire reality was changing. Which, it was - just, she wasn't the only one experiencing it. Granted, she didn't really think about that, she just let the feeling was over her - feeling the lull of unconsciousness tug lightly at her, though it was resisted by the female.

Once she'd finally arrived in Eden, Kofuku curiously spun around, taking in their surroundings. Admittedly, it was a bit surprising that the place was so bright and pleasant - not that the pinkette minded. In fact, it was a nice difference from the dark of the ship and vault. Not that she fully processed that she felt this, with some lingering effect from the vault. Despite this, she gladly glanced to Shizuo as he spoke to her, before tilting her head, furrowing her brows, and glancing around confusedly. "Eh..? I don't see Peeta-chan anywhere, Shizuo-kun.." she observed, still glancing around. And it seemed she was right - it looked like Peeta wasn't with them. Had he been left behind in the chaos? Apprehended once more by the facility? Had his pod not functioned properly, of perhaps sent him somewhere completely different from the group?

"...I'm sure he's alright, though~" she added, cheerfully, seeming to sincerely mean the words. Granted, perhaps this was still the effects of the vault speaking. "Let's goooo!" she exclaimed, brightly. However, she seemed oblivious to the fact that Shizuo had started heading a different way from her. Kofuku, herself, had unintentionally started towards a stunning lake that could be seen a bit off in the distance. Uh oh.... Hopefully she wasn't going to go get herself into trouble there. Knowing Kofuku, though? She probably would.

For some reason, Esper seemed to be a bit put off by this setting that Eden had. However, before Mastermind could ask why it was bothering him, the Esper immediately disappeared into another time rift again. Probably going to explore on his own.

"I wonder what's gotten into Esper... he wasn't as... annoying as usual once we got here..."

Mastermind mumbled to himself as he decided to make his way over to the lake. He did make that offer to record all sorts of data on Kofuku so she wouldn't be forgotten that easily, so that's what he was going to do.

The place they were reminded Emmeryn of Ylisse's small villages. She grabbed her staff and book, and stepped Towards the village

Yes, Shizuo was now going to be distrustful of anything orange related. After what just happened, he didn't feel any sort of guilt for his suspicion. "Though maybe something sweet would be good with the tea?" He absentmindedly suggested as he gave Kofuku a pat on the head, as if to say he didn't blame her for the orange incident.

Whether his words fell on deaf ears, or whether the younger compatriots around him listened, the brutish man paused at the buzzing of his communicator once more. Having restored the power manually by himself, using what resources were about, the strategist huffed, clenching his hands into fists. Anger boiled in his blood, feeling as if every step of progress he achieved was but a multitude of steps back and back. Looking over at the others in the Science Labs, Bane huffed, adjusting his firmly strapped ballistic vest.

"Come, brothers and sisters, our glorious captain has more formalities for us...."

Well, that was shockingly easy.

From his assumption as the Normandy crashing into this scorched earth, ravaged by human conflict, Bane figured that there would be no answers or solutions here for awhile. But alas, these vaults, these tiny, underground hubs of civilization stood the test of time. Presumably, vital resources had been found by other members of the crew, Bane's normal pessimistic behavior for once reverting to slight confidence. Why, if he wasn't wearing his frightening medical mask, constantly pumping streams of painkillers into his built body, the villein may actually dawn a smile.

"Progress, yes, a common ground we can all stand upon." he noted fiercely, glancing over at Commander Shepherd deeply. Shaking his head lightly, walking past the armored woman, Bane arose into the Normandy's metallic underbelly, gripping a makeshift harness made out of dead wiring hanging down from the steel ceiling. Awaiting in the Cargo Bay, Bane readied himself, watching the others flood into the ship, the revolutionary giving a shaky sigh.

Another step in this tiresome, and now treacherous, journey.

Sunlight.

A paradise fashioned out of the hands of desperate humans, clinging to their old ways of life, as the fire rose and rose. Bane himself could only shake his head, finding distaste in this grand lie. How could anyone with a good conscious dwell into these enforced chambers, locked away, living an existence of lie, yet not feeling the firm rays of reality? With a grizzled growl, Bane dusted himself off a bit, speaking aloud.

"Perhaps it would be wise to go to this...village. I rather leave here soon, this place is pitiful and petite...."

With a murmuring under his breath, the giant of a man walked towards the village.

Bubba would watch as the others began to filter out of the Vault, one by one. Staring down at the small pup and watching it walk off, the Big Daddy decided it was time to leave as well. With nothing else to do, Bubba lumbered after the group and left the Vault. As he walked, he seemed to have idle thoughts about something, but those were stomped out quickly as Bubba continued to glance at the small pup that looked to him.

Bubba would stomp into Vault 112 and looked around. Golly, each of these Vaults feel like a piece of Rapture. Minus the corpses, ADAM and flooded sections, but Bubba felt uncomfortable to be in this kind of environment without those elements. It just feels empty and silent, and Rapture is surprisingly more noisy than you would expect. Big Daddy doesn't question it all too much though, as it isn't relevant to his job.

When Bubba entered the main room with all the pods, he heard Shepard say some big words for a couple minutes and then watched as all of the smaller folk began to slip into the Pods.

Bubba looked around uncomfortably as he couldn't find a pod that he could actually fit in.

Eventually, at some point, Bubba would find a way to Eden. Whether it be through a direct neural linkup, a bigger pod, or some other big complicated method that Mordin would come up with; Bubba would rest his large body and feel everything grow dark and dim. Outside of Eden, Bubba's porthole lights flickered briefly before falling black and empty...

When Bubba awoke he was...well, staring up at the sky. Wow, is he on a floating city or something?

Bubba's brief fantasy of a floating city would fade as he felt solid ground and grass beneath him. Unlike the others, Bubba had to actually take a couple minutes to rise back up on his heavy feet, the metal leviathan dragging his massive weight and trying to plant his feet on the ground. Eventually he managed to succeed, and now stared upon Eden. Bubba's lights would flash green as he gazed upon the city; it was so pretty! It was certainly more pleasing than Rapture and the vaults.

Bubba decided to grace this city with a jolly tune. Reaching behind to where he stuffed his old-timey radio, Sheriff Bubba would twist the nob slightly. The radio (which somehow made it into the virtual reality) would give off static for a brief moment before suddenly letting out an old, crackled song.

Skeletor as well would head into the village, not caring to inspect a rotten forest nor a lake. He just wanted to find something useful to use for his own gains.

As the group stepped into the village proper they'd find that in this case a book could be judged by its cover. The streets were almost desolate with only a few humans walking back in forth, dressed in old clothes fitting for the scenario. They didn't seem to pay the Normandy crew much mind despite their strange appearances. They could see signs over a few of the houses.

The nearest one seemed to be an Inn called the Giddy Goat, one further down seemed to be a store of sorts and next to it was a blacksmith.

The group could either inspect the different houses or continue on the streets to possibly find something in the shady alleys twisting and turning through the village.

For Toboe it took a while for consciousness to set in. But once it did he stumbled to his feet and shook his head.

Once he saw Kofuku and crew headed towards the lake he excitedly ran after them, his pup like mannerisms beginning to show through.

As Lieutenant Steve Cortez got to his feet -- blue eyes blinking up at an even more blue sky and lungs breathing in air that felt so real -- he realized that the Alliance handbook had nothing to say about any of this.

Not that any amount of training could have prepared them for the Reapers, let alone a mysterious virtual reality created by the man who was leading them. Steve knew he was a good soldier and an even better pilot, but he also knew there were better men and women out there. Why did it so happen that he was here in the heart of it all, when so many others were either dead or fleeing? His talents weren't even being put to use here. Sure, he could shoot just as well as anybody else on the Normandy, but flying was where he felt alive-- It was just a shame the shuttle had to stay docked on the Normandy for now. Being on the ground with the rest of the Normandy's crew was not something Steve was used to, and the experience put him ill at ease.

Not that it would stop him from doing what was necessary. Steve respected Shepard as a friend above all others and he would follow her into the pits of Hell if he had to.

"Cortez, you're with me," came Major Kaidan Alenko's voice, the man sounding almost strained. Steve turned to him and watched as Kaidan delicately touched at his forehead, seemingly in awe at what he felt. The Lieutenant imagined it had something to do with the man's Bio-amps, leaving him to wonder what kind of effects Eden had on biotics like Kaidan. Or, well, anyone with powers, really. People from all kinds of worlds were here, after all. Steve watched as Kaidan proceeded to shake himself slightly, still getting used to the feeling of being within this virtual space.

With an amused smile, Cortez nodded graciously. "Yes, sir."

Adopting a tighter and more assured stance, Kaidan nodded toward the village. He stepped in behind Emmeryn, Bane, and the others, with Steve following after. Kaidan's eyes were focused forward, eyes watching villagers they passed intently. Their eyes seemed glazed over and they didn't even seem to notice they were there. "Either these people are way too good at ignoring what they don't want to see, or we've turned invisible," Steve muttered, a frown adorning his face. "For as real as this place feels, these people aren't coming off as too realistic, you know?"

Kaidan appeared unconcerned.

"I don't know about the rest of you, but this doesn't feel very real to me. There's no... pressure, inside my head." He gave Emmeryn a pointed look. "Remember my Bio-amps I told you about? Well, I can tell they aren't here. Maybe something's wrong with the system, because those didn't get translated over... for whatever reason."

As interesting as that sounded, biotics weren't Steve's field of expertise, so he wasn't sure he understood what Kaidan was getting at. "... Anyone wanna visit that inn?" he asked as an aside. "Not sure I want to find out what's lurking in those dark alleys."

Those of you with their eyes on the lake would notice a disturbance on the water's surface. Air bubbles broke the calm mirror, indicating that someone or something was lurking below. Slowly but surely, that someone would be revealed, damp matted hair cascading down their head and obscuring their features. As the figure stepped further on to the shore, it would be easy to notice that they were a girl wearing a black uniform, a white spotted tie, and a red skirt. As she moved closer to Kofuku and friends, the girl reached up with delicate hands and brushed aside heavy locks of her wet hair. Judging by her face and figure, she was likely just a young adult.

"I'd like some tea," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Shizuo recognized the girl, remembering how they had found her unconscious outside and in one of the VR pods. However, something about her seemed off, especially given how she had suddenly emerged from the lake just as they happened to pass and had clearly heard them talking above the water line. Her expression seemed rather dark for someone who had just enjoyed a nice swim, almost as if she expected something wrong to happen. With all that on his mind, Shizuo couldn't help feeling a bit uneasy around her even if she seemed to be in trouble.

"Have a nice swim, kid? You don't look all that good."

"I'm sorry. Sometimes the voices get too loud. I know they're not real, but they're so loud., the blends in and drowns out everything. I'm not normally like this, I swear. I'm Thom, by the way, And your name is, miss? "



Ariving at the villiage, Thom would gasp, grapping Lisa Lisa by the hand, before letting go.


"Sorry. I don't mean anything by that. I think my Dream Girl would like it here. Not that you care, I mean, you're not my dreamer, I don't see a star shape birthmark on your chin."

"As long it's not any kind of orange tea. Honestly, no more damn oranges at all."

Yes, Shizuo was now going to be distrustful of anything orange related. After what just happened, he didn't feel any sort of guilt for his suspicion. "Though maybe something sweet would be good with the tea?" He absentmindedly suggested as he gave Kofuku a pat on the head, as if to say he didn't blame her for the orange incident.

Shizuo's words made Kofuku stop abruptly in her tracks, her cheery demeanor vanishing into the air.

"N-no oranges...?" she repeated, sounding utterly heartbroken at the suggestion alone. She was so caught up in her sadness with this that she failed to really take note of the girl rising from the lake.

For now, ignoring Kofuku was probably the best bet. Or just telling her that oranges were okay, Shizuo. >:c Instead, it was better to take a peek around, right? The lake was nice, looking to be pure and clean. Almost unnaturally so. The 'sun' caused the water's surface to glimmer beautifully, and it was tempting to just bask in the beauty of the sight. There were some beautiful ponies by the water grazing idly, a beautiful young woman sitting on a rock and kicking her legs idly, and what seemed as though it might've been some sort of underwater cove.

Chapter 2 – Finding Eden

It would take a few hours for the crew to find the necessary components and another few hours for the Normandy to be completely fixed. When the time came Commander Shepard would contact everyone to head towards the exit of Vault 11111. Once everyone was there they'd see Shepard flanked by some residence of the vault.

"We're ready to go but there's still some business we need to take care off. One of them is what's going to happen with the Vault." She motioned to the people around her. "We gathered up everyone not indoctrinated and they are willing to help us out on the Normandy. The ones who are indoctrinated however are a lost cause. They'd rather kill themselves than step foot in the outside world ever again. We opted to post a warning for any future travel hoping to find sanctuary inside of this place. We also confiscated a large number of their supplies because right now we need it way more than these people."

"With that out of the way there's the voting tally." Shepard took up her omni-tool to look at the final tally. "Seems like Boba Fett got the most votes...and that's not saying much. Fett, you'll be heading to the UN for a quick debriefing and if you don't have anything to hide, you'll be fit to join back with us later."

As she said that Boba Fett would blink away, no doubt having been sent to the UN facility somewhere. "Guys you need to get your head out of your asses." Shepard replied annoyed at the group. "Voting for yourself or abstaining from voting is not helping anyone. Especially not bringing us closer to finding Tali's killer."

She pointed an accusing finger towards them. "Just keep in mind the less you do the easier they'll have to kill every last one of us. On that cheerful note let's get the hell out of here. Next stop...Vault 112."

Later...

The Normandy now fully repaired would have landed at their next destination which seemed to be housed inside of a garage

The castaways followed by a small group of Normandy crew lead by Commander Shepard would head into the garage and down a hatch into to their location.

Vault 112

The trip through the facility was uneventful and they would soon enough end up in a gigantic room with what seemed to be pods scattered all over the room.

Shepard would turn towards Mordin as their resident scientist. "You sure you know what you're doing?"

"Don't worry, studied the research, just step into pods and will do the rest." Legion would assure her as well.

"Shepard Commander. We will do what is necessary for you to survive."

Shepard turned and faced the group. "You heard them, find yourself an unused pod and let's get this started."

As Shepard herself tried to find a free pod she stumbled upon one that seemed to be occupied.

A young girl...she didn't deserve this faith.

After awhile everyone seemed to have found an empty pod Mordin got to work. "Here we go, will stay behind to monitor progress. Try not to die. Eden virtual reality. Still mind makes it real. Might feel a slight sting."

True to his word they would feel a slight sting before they were blinded by a bright white light.

As they regained conciousness they would hear bird song filling the air as well as the soft pouring of a stream. Opening their eyes they'd a see a clear blue sky above them. Realizing they were laying on the ground people would slowly get up to their feet.

"Look lively people." They'd hear Shepard call out to them.



"Welcome to Eden."

The girl looked around, and didn't see him. It was only then that Deemo appeared.
