Amelia resists the urge to laugh. Figures he pulls off all the cool magic and then faceplants when he tries hopping on a demon horse. "Pffft. Real smooth." She grins and offers him a hand, intending to help Sel disentangle himself.

Sel grabs Amelia's hand. "Thank you. I tend to fail when it comes to trying to look cool. But again, thank you." Sel readjusts the saddle and makes sure it's tight. He then gets on and doesn't fall off this time.

"You were doing pretty well with the magic. Kind of funny that you'd pull that off without a hitch and then botch getting on a horse. I mean you'd normally think conjuring stuff out of thin air would be the bigger challenge." After she's helped Sel up, she goes to (carefully) get on the remaining magical horse.

" Well, yeah. But remember magic and horseback riding are two VERY different things. So, anything you need before we go? Food, water, etc.? I have plenty in my bag." Sel smiles, ready to open his bag.

The black cloud that was carrying them rose into the sky, giving them a nice view of the town. Asura rarely used it but it was a fast way of getting to the castle while also allowing he and Claudia to talk; no doubt his father and maids would be swarming her when they arrived. Hearing what she said along with feeling something soft against his cheeks caused the prince to blush when he realized it had been her lips. "And I feel the same way about having a princess." He grinned, looking down at her.

"No, we should be fine." Cadence answered with a smile. It was nice of Amelia to help Sel up after that, though he was right. You could be good at one thing but be terrible or not that great at another. She took hold of the reins and tried to get it to walk a bit, only to remember how to do some of it but did wait until they started out also. "Thank you, for letting us use your horses."

--------
Claudia smiled as his response, "That seems to make me happy." She replied, "Hmm, princess? I wonder though what that will be like, and what others will think. I suppose it would bring our kinds together, I hope. I wouldn't want it to cause any problems between the angels and demons of this land." Claudia had only been thinking so far about her and Asura, she hadn't thought about what it meant for them as the prince and princess thing goes.

"I'm good to go, thanks." Amelia starts seeing if she can get the nightmare horse moving. Shouldn't be any harder than riding a regular horse, hopefully.

"Then let us be off, oh and a word of advice about Nightmares, the more you fear them, the less likely it is theyll listen to your commands, so treat them like any other horse. Oh and also..!" Sel's Nightmare takes off before he can finish, he almost falls off but holds on tightly. "Darn, oh well, as long as neither of them is carrying anything explosively flammable we'll be fine."

"Oh. I hadn't even thought of being afraid of them actually." Amelia can be a bit incautious at times... And true to her word, she doesn't seem to be having much trouble with it. Though she keeps to a more relaxed pace anyway, only being basically familiar with horse riding.

"Also I don't usually carry things that can explode." She adds, almost as an afterthought.

Cadence watched as Sel had a bit of problems again, fighting off the urge to laugh again. "He's quite the interesting guy." Cadence said to Amelia. She smiled when Amelia mentioned she wasn't afraid. She kept her pace with Amelia, figuring since that was who she was with at the time it would be best to stay with her. Cadence wasn't the best with horse riding, but she would be able to do it enough to get to the castle. It seemed after a bit of time, they were already almost out of the town.

Asura chuckled with a smile, so she was fine with marrying him. Then when she mention about how it would be and how the races would take it, the prince shrugged lightly. "I'm not certain, it could bring our kinds closer together of cause a bit of conflict. Though I'm sure it won't harm the relations." Asura replied, the possibilities were there but hopefully it wouldn't turn bad. The land really didn't need a domestic problem after all this time of peace and prosperity.

Sel finally managed to slow his Nightmare down and keep in pace with the two girls. "As I said...two VERY different things. At least I think I'm getting the hang of this. Now that I think about it, I don't know much of anything about you girls. Whats your story?" He looked at each of them.

"Well, I don't know how much of a story my life is." Cadence began, "But, I ended up here by a portal and was asked by the King to teach people here about humans. And, that's what I've been doing. At least the King gave me a house to stay in and some money to start out."

----
"You're completely right." Claudia replied, "But I suppose there's no sense in worrying about it. I'm sure some people will like it while others won't. That's just the way people are." She smiled again at Asura, "We will just try our best to keep everything peaceful." She could see the castle coming closer, she wondered what it was going to be like living there now.

"I fell through a portal onto Cadence's lawn." And then, almost as an afterthought: "That was like... Yesterday. Not really all that much of a story to tell. Yet, at least. Though I wouldn't exactly make the most action packed protagonist... Maybe if it was a comedy or something..." Amelia just trails off, before returning to the topic: "So, yeah. Not much so far. I'm actually really new to all this Other Land stuff."

"Interesting! A portal.. hmm... Well, I guess I'll tell you my story then huh? I was born here, but I was no reglar birth. I was the result of a...lets say unique combination of races for modesty's sake. A Naga and a Human. The Naga was my mother, my Human father worked hard till the day he died. That was about... oh... a year ago? Well, anyway. I grew up with an... interesting combination. You see my last name is very human and generic, but my first name... let's just say my mother won that argument. Sellic Johnson, try growing up with that name. I was teased for quite awhile about it, but it was really perpetuated by my reqction to it. I outgrew it and now I go by Sel. I studied magic for the longest time, and now here I am, a fully grown Naga-Human wih no job and a knack for *ahem* illicit activities."

Asura chuckled, surprised to hear Claudia admit that he was right. "As most people feel about something new, look at the views when my father took the throne." He smiled back at her and have a slight nod. "Exactly, we'll have to work at it, I'm sure with enough talking it will work out." Then the prince looked up to see them steadily approaching my father. "No doubt I'll still get a lecture for leaving my babysitters."

Cadence knew a bit of Amelia's story, after all, it was her yard that she fell in. So, she just smiled as she listened. Then they went onto Sel's story, which intrigued her a bit. She had gotten used to the fact that everyone here was so much different than home, that she didn't even find Sel strange at all. "Really?" Cadence replied when he finished, "I wouldn't have thought that. I didn't think you were much different, I mean, to the others here. You're all definitely different from where Amelia and me are from."

---
Claudia nodded in return, Asura was right with everything he was saying. She then let out a little laugh, "I'm sure your father won't be too happy about that, but you'll have some good news to tell him I suppose. You set out to find someone to marry and now your bringing one home. I hope he approves of it being me." She looked forward to see the castle coming into view.

"Hmm..." Amelia listens to the story - she doesn't really seem to find the whole Naga/Human thing all that unusual. Lots of people were different races in this Other Land, right? "I don't see what's so bad about that name. Sellic? Sure, it's a little unusual, but nothing to make fun of something for. Sucks that people would give you trouble over it, though." And she just kinda blinks when he announces his propensity for crime. "Uhh... Should you really be telling two people you just met about that? I mean, uh. I'd think the first rule of being involved in such activities is not to tell people about them."

"No doubt, his number one rule while I was growing up was to never leave my escorts. Let's just say there were a few times my magic came in handy to make illusions of a certain person." Asura stated, actually smirking as he remembered it. "I'm sure he will, after all, my father is the king and he's a good man." Then he kissed her cheek while Claudia was busy looking at the castle. "I'm sure he'll be glad."

Cadence nodded in agreement with Amelia. "Amelia's right. You might not want to go saying that to everyone." She said, "But don't worry. We won't say anything, right Amelia?" Cadence took a look over at Amelia with a smile. Then she looked back forward, she could see the castle in the distance now.

----
"Then he probably won't be so happy you're returning without those escorts of yours." Claudia said, letting out a little laugh as she thought about it. She looked over at Asura and smiled, "You're right. He is a good man after all." It was a relief to think that Tull would be happy about t all, especially being okay with it being Claudia. They were getting much closer to the castle, it would be time soon to meet with the King.
