Kissing Weirdos

"Wow! What a party." Get joked. "I only have Elias."

Kyle chuckled. "Yea sure, sometimes he can be five guys by himself. Guess it's a twins thing."

He nodded as Liz brought drinks. "Yea. It's just us. My mom's in jail and my dad died years ago."

"Oh, I'm sorry." Her Dad had left them and her Mom went into a deep stage of depression, leaving her to take care of the boys, but, she didn't say anything.

"Eh its life. It happens, you know?" He turned to the band and continues to listen.

"Well Alright, give it up for the Buck Boys!" Everyone clapped answer cheered for the house band, including Kyle.
"Alright, next up we have one of our regulars. Our favorite acoustic rockstar, Kyle Palmer." Kyle rose as he was cheered on. "Be right back." He said as he walkes to the stage.

Dillon what he'd as Kyle stood and walked up to stage, she clapped along with the rest of the audience.

"Thanks everybody. Uh, I got a new one for y'all. This is for my new friend I brought here today. This is for you, Dillon." He strapped his guitar and began to play.

Finally met Dillon on a slow summer night
Thought I'd get to know you so I came back
You're a sight for sore eyes
Right for those eyes
They save me after all!
Right from the beginning we were wrong I found
But no one did it better baby pound for pound
Those heavyweight fights were right for me
To learn how to see the light clearly
And it's the light I see in you!

[Chorus:]
No, don't go
I'll show you what it's like to be loved!
No, don't go
I'll show you what it's like to be loved!
(ba-da-da-da-da-da-da-da)
What it's like to be loved!

Now that things are better for me
I can laugh at all your other lovers
When you do the math
Does it make you feel sad,
Make you feel small?
Thank God I'm not afraid anymore!
I'm not coming back for round 2
I just wanna love you like a friend would do
You weren't wrong for the feelings you had
But the man that I was isn't coming back
So stay, it's OK!

[Chorus:]
No, don't go
I'll show you what it's like to be loved!
No, don't go
I'll show you what it's like to be loved!
(ba-da-da-da-da-da-da-da)
What it's like to be loved!
(ba-da-da-da-da-da-da-da)

Dillon looked up as a she developed a slight blush, the song was beautiful.

When he finished the song, many people cheered as he got off stage. Slowly he made his way through the crowd and back to Dillon. "What did you think?"

"It was awesome!" She smiled, trying to get rid of the blush.

He chuckled heavily. "Is that a Good blush or bad blush?"

His smile brightened. He didn't know how she did it, but he never smiled so much. "I'm glad."

Looking at her, he was tempted to kiss her again. But he worried about it being the right time. He chuckled nervously.
