She flinched and turned around, seeing it was Virgil. She felt bad, which added to her emotions. "D-don't t-touch me..." She said quietly, sliding down the door and bringing her her knees to her chest, and crying softly into her hands.

She didn't mean to go crazy like that and be so mean. She really didn't. She just wanted to understand.

Virgil took his hand off of her, understanding she wanted to be alone and went back sat down in the corner.

"Tch, kids these days." Enigmus scoffed as he resumed writing in his journal.

I look at the people in the room, I was tired of the new ones wondering why they were here and so I marked the place where I was in my book closed it and got up and said "okay newcomers may I have your attention please thank you, you are here to be tested on, how I know the is because I've been here for about 13 years and undergone most of the testing my self, its because you have something special about you" I hold my hand out and a small fire ball appeared "just like me" I put the fire out "now its lunch time and I don't know about you but i'm hungry and testing mostly starts after lunch so you girl can you get off the door so I can get to the lunch hall?"

"In the time I've spent here, I can assure you that's not how it works, Max." Enigmus mocked Maximus in a dull tone "And I doubt that they'd let us simply walk out of out of this room." Enigmus sighed, who did this guy think he was?

"look cant I mess with the new ones with out you always putting me down for once" I gave Enigmus a glare and sat back down and picked up my book "well any way they should come and get us soon either way, so what are your new peoples powers be for your all dragged out?" I gave a bit of a creepy smile by accident before reopening my book

"Those two dweebs have ice powers, and the little lady won't say anything about what she can do, much to my obsession's dismay." Enigmus explained "That explain everything for you, Jerry Lee Lewis?" Enigmus proceeded to keep on writing as he said all of that.

Corrie, offended, felt her hand shoot up without warning. However, she managed somehow to clench her fist and bring it back down, breathing shallowly through her nose. "Maybe the little lady would talk to us if you didn't make everyone here look like as much of a dickhead as you," She muttered, almost too low for anyone else to hear.

"Ha your funny Edwin, I was in to my book and at a good part too so don't get on to me if I didn't pay attention." I looked at the girl that called Enigmus a dickhead and pointed at her "so whats your name?"

"Corrie." The girl responded, raising her piercing blue eyes to meet his. She continued to move her hands slightly, clenching and unclenching her fists, as if she hadn't decided whether or not to hurt Enigumus yet.

"Dammit, Max." Enigmus snapped "I have told you on several occasions to not call me by my name, it's Enigmus, nothing more! Nothing less!"

I laughed at my little accomplishment of getting on Enigmus's nerves and then I looked back at the girl now known as Corrie. My red eyes locked with Corrie's blue eyes "look Corrie, Enigmus has been like this ever since I've been here and frankly it would scare my if he didn't act the way he does" I a laughed again and then looked at the girl at the door got up and walked walked to her knelt down and said "hey you want to see something cool?"

Corrie narrowed her eyes coldly, clearly distrusting him, but shrugged her thin shoulders none the less. "Be my guest," She mumbled with a small, fake-looking smile.

{Jeepers, my writers block is just smacking me around today isn't it.}

Malekai had been woken up in the same test chamber he had been in for.......was it five weeks now? or six? he couldn't remember. anyway he was woken up by the same gruff, tired voice that all the scientists seemed to have. "wake up kid" it said and Malekai replied "so how long am i going to have to fight you guys today before you give up on this same tired old test??" the scientists just sighed and said " actually after you fried all the testing equipment yesterday we decided this test wasn't worth the expenses......anyway we have a room full of newbies we want you to be in." the wall to his left opened, revealing stark white hallways and the escorts, which always followed him when he wasn't in the test chamber, stiffly walked into the room dressed in their full rubber combat suits."ok guys" said Malekai with hints of tiredness still lingering from the sedative still in his blood "lets go, i guess" they put the regular rubber sack over his head and he tried o count the turns. two lefts, a right, and then straight for a long while until heard the sound of the wall opening just barely enough for him to be pushed in. they roughly ripped the sack off of his head and pushing him into the room, quickly closing the hidden door in the wall after him. "ummmm..." he said staring at all of the current occupants" hey.........im Malekai"

Enigmus glanced at Malekai "Hello, I don't care." He calmly told Malekai before going back to writing in his journal.

Malekai crossed his arms and pouted slightly " well you arent very nice." he sat down on the floor and continued to pout slightly, almost falling asleep, still slightly sedated

Corrie shrugged, her eyes flicking over to Virgil momentarily. "I doubt we're going anywhere- it's not like They'll just... let us walk, right?" She chewed on her lip for a moment before rubbing her hands together to warm them. They were crazy cold- not that they weren't normally, but it didn't stop her from missing the feeling of warmth once in a while.

Virgil scratched his head thinking a bit then decided to be straight up. "Best stay in number then split off to death right?"

"Pretty much," Corrie responded, looking absently down at her pale hands.
