She took it as he didn't want it broken and felt her heart shatter. She simply got up dumping the cat into the chair where she'd been and left in tears.
 
Michio frowned more and followed after her, "Kieara! What's wrong?" He asks catching her hand. He didn't like her crying. Jiji had felt the heart drop out of pain of seeing his loved one cry.
 
Kieara pulled her hand away. "D-don't worry about it. Ill leave you alone." She spoke continuing to walk off. She knew she'd have to return some time though.
 
"Kieara...." Michio calls with a frown. He didn't like the girl crying. He put his hand in his pocket pulling out a beautiful saphire ring with a white gold band. He thought Kieara would like it.
 
Kieara stopped when he called her again. She turned. "Yes?" She asked.
 
"Um... I bought you this. I thought you'd like it," he held out the ring smiling happily at her.
 
Kiearas eyes trailed down to what he held in his fingers. She stepped over with a sigh gently taking it. "Thank you Michio. It's beautiful." She spoke softly putting it on. Her feelings were hurt but she knew he couldn't help it.
 
Michio wraps his arms around her hugging her tight, "it'll be okay! We are a family!"
 
The baby locked at him when he did. She forced a smile but inside her heart still ached. She let him hug her.
 
Michio smiled as he felt the baby kick him. He let go and lean down rubbing her belly, "Hey baby. It's me your daddy. We all are excited for you to arrive!" He says softly smiling happily.
 
Kieara smiled a little as he talked to her belly. The baby kicked again seeming to respond.
 
He smiled brighter, "Would you like daddy to sing to you and mommy?" Michio asks, he wasn't good at singing but he would for them.
 
Kieara couldn't help but let her smile widen watching him. She was glad he was so enthusiastic. The baby pressed against her belly towards his voice.
 
Michio started to sing a soft song for the two. He was happy that the baby liked him.
 
Kieara didn't think michios voice was bad. She thought it was rather soothing. The baby squirmed at the new noises and kicked.
 
He continued to sing. Michio's mom had sung to him as a child, he always liked hearing her sing. He smiled as he felt the baby kick.
 
Kieara was puzzling herself trying to figure out what would make him have a heavy heart. The baby pressed against her womb the tiny outline of a hand showing.
 
Michio's eyes widen and he presses a finger to the hand. It felt strange thinking how this girl was carrying a life in her belly.
 
Kieara smiled at his reaction. The tiny hand stayed where his finger was. She couldn't wait to meet her....their baby.
 
Michio looked up at her, "what are you going to name it?"
