Shadow nodded. "I can bend the light and create an illusion."

"So long as we do not have any more intuitions, Let us go to the the dinner."
"Good thing to, I've been heading there for a bit now."
The ship lands at the The Dinner and the group leaves, save Mr. Star, who tinkers with the droid from before. The dinner was nothing special, and mostly out of the way. The bald human at the end of the bar waves the group down. You all get random assortments of food, and Mistress Blake pays for the meals.

When the orders where taken, he slide a slip of paper to the center of the group. the man in power armor, Ansel
The letter says, "Behind the door around the corner is the back room. There will be an access point to the underground maintenance tunnels. Wait for me to contact you."

"Go on young ones, I will stay here a moment longer, and take care of the tab. You wont need me down there. I can sense it."

Very well, lets go.
And please, stay close.

Oh, and if anyone asks, my name is Sam.

She seems pretty secure. Let's move. Ansel moved with the others toward the back room.

Sek, Aach-Ti, Ansel, & Shadow, walk to the back room to find a hinged trap door going down. When below the floors, the group sees plenty of electrical wires, gas pipes, plumbing, etc. There seems to be a walk way leading into another area. The tunnels feel uncomfortably warm do to the machines operating and heating up the area.

"...Wearing this suit's a pain in the ass." Ansel rolled his shoulders, trying to relax inside the contraption. "I feel like a sardine."

As the group enters the tunnels, a disembodied voice begins to address them from some kind of intercom system. It has a gravelly quality, distinct from most people. It speaks concisely, actively with command and leaving no room for question, or error. Those with some experience with military folk might recognize it as the tone of a Non-Commissioned Officer.

"I've uploaded a map of the tunnels to your wrist computers. Has an overlay with directions on them. Follow them, and you won't get lost." the voice says.

"Oh, and don't worry about running into anyone down here. This section has been unused by ERGO Corp for some time. Only serves the Fringe slummies now."

The directions on the map had them going to an old storage room about 500 meters from their location, taking many turns to get there.

Shadow took more precaution in his approach this time, simply leaning against a wall as he closed his eyes and extended his senses throughout the shadows to give them a more detailed scan of the tunnels, and to see if he could sense what was inside the room.

Shadow focuses his power through the tunnels, only to find a the tunnels where barran and filled with only machinery and a few rats. As far as the area the messages says to go, your connection is fairly fuzzy do to all the lights in the room. A lone man surrounded by a few computers. and some living arrangements, awaited you at the location. He can also detect a magical essence from the man, but it is somewhat faint.

From reading Shadow's mind you find out the area the message wants you to go is just a room with a single person it it. The room also contains some computers, a cot for sleeping, and rations.

Sek says to Ansel, "Well the message says we don't need to be stealthy right now, so you could take the suit off."
He turned to the group, giving the feeling of uneasiness.
"So do you think we can trust this guy?"

"Really? Good, I'm so tired of-" Ansel froze, and then his shoulders slumped. "Wait, how do you even take this thing off? God, I should've put on make up or something instead."

Sek attempted to hold back his laughter as he moved to the back of the suit. Pressing a few buttons and activating a voice code, the armor released Ansel.

Let us go.

Aach-Ti attempts to read the surfcace thoughts of the man's mind, while remaining undetected.

Mind Read with the Subtle thingy.

"The tunnels are clear. There's only one man in the room, but don't let your guard down. It could still be a trap."

You search for the mind of the man, to find he is exactly where the message said he would be. However in an attempt to probe his mind, you find yourself unable to access it. Whomever this was, he had a strong enough willpower to defend his mind, even from a Crinis.

"Right behind you! Oh wait..."
Sek hits a few more buttons on the suit, locking it down so it couldn't be stolen.
"OK, Now I am right behind you!

Finally free from the confines of the suit, Ansel hovered along behind the others, heading toward the lone man.

At least the man protects himself..

Aach-Ti murmurs.

Lets get in there and see what he has for us.

Walking into the room with purpose, the Crinis sticks out his hand to the lone man.
Speaking the human tongue the best he can, he says

Greetings.
My name is Aach-Ti.
We thank you for your help.

The room the team walks into had a single lone man in combat gear and a Balaclava mask on. The combat gear he is wearing looks like it Federation is military.
The room looks like it was used to be a storage room for janitors and system maintenance, but, it now has computers set up in the middle of the room, for the man to turn and watch at a moments notice. On the far end of the room is a cot, a small chemistry lab, some MRE boxes. the lab and computers are set up on folding tables. ne folding table has an old school paper map of the compound on it, with handwritten notes all over it.
The rooms smells of bleach and lubricating oils, and the electronics are all being powered by the lines running in the tunnels.

"So, I take it you're the ISP?" Sek asked hesitantly.

The man doesn't return the gesture. He gives the Crinis a cold look of blood-lust, but otherwise remains calm. They are eyes of an experienced killer with the rage of unseen scars behind them.

"I don't care what your names are." he says turning away from Aach-Ti, and looking to Sek, giving him a nod to confirm his question.

"I only care about completing the mission. Unfortunately, this is, especially now, something that requires a team effort. I had hoped that with the reputation of the Academy, there would have been a more professional team." he says, indicating, rather strongly, that he wasn't interested in becoming friends, or acquaintances, and that he wasn't particularly impressed with what he had seen thus far. He viewed them as assets to complete a mission, and nothing more.

"I will need a general breakdown of your abilities, equipment etcetera , so that I can I can best make use of them in the planning phase." he asks quite matter of factly. The man gives off an air of a professional soldier, and leaves no room for second guessing.

Shadow nodded, watching the man closely, studying him. "Scout, assassin and tech specialist. Equipment is... Variable." Shadow held up his arm, the armlet shifting smoothly into the spike from before, then morphed into a sword, fitting itself smoothly into his palm, and finally, into it's natural scythe form, then back again, vanishing beneath his sleeves.

Sek speaks to you in his head, "Do you think we can trust this guy? He seems a little...off.
