Etain grinned, the action made mildly off-putting by the mouth, and said, "We can form a fucking super group!" She pumped her fists. "I don't think professor bad cop gives a shit anyway."
Hell's Bat still sat threateningly on the teacher's hip.
Etain pursed her lips. "I mean, probably. So who here knows some math?"

Ruby Fierro

Ruby found her classroom. Math, huh? Great. She had never been good at math.

She caught sight of the board. A group project.

"Noooooooooooo..."

"Alright, good to hear! Now then! Let's get started! We can overcome any obstacle if we all work together, no matter what it might be!"

Sayuri opened the book and looked at the first problem.

"The recommended percent (p) of nitrogen (by volume) in the air that a diver breathes is given by p=105.07/d+33, where d is the depth (in feet) of the diver. Find the depth when the air contains 47% recommended nitrogen by (a) solving an equation, and (b) using the inverse of the function afterwards."

Sayuri immediately slammed the book shut.

"SO! You know what's more important than Math? Learning about the people around us! Eh?"

Yeah, no. She wasn't even gonna try with that stuff. This is why she hated studying. Forget this noise! Forget it all!

"Oh crap! Class!" Lily ran off towards her math class, managing to make it there several minutes late. Fortunately, the teacher didn't seem to notice. She took a seat behind another girl, who was talking about her fellow students. "Well, I'm an open book, if you care to ask."

@Verite

"Skipping a class first day, first period. Not much can be done. Nobody knows you, so they can't say you're tardy. Very good chance to get away, and can give an excuse as stupid as late vacation and overslept rather easily."

He nodded to himself, tilting his head to the side as he rambled again

"Library. Quiet. Suspected that Alexander the Great's library, had it not burned down like a matchstick, could have jumped our current progress a hundred years or so."

His eyes widened and he gave a tired sigh "Sorry. I ramble when nervous. I'll just stop talking and escorts you there" he nodded to himself

Shit what did he say?

SHIT SHIT SHIT

Escort? Really man? This isn't a fucking half dozen centuries back, you idiot! She probably thinks you're arrogant and crazy and stupid!

(Wait... sorry to interrupt, but why are people roleplaying in the signup thread? Or is the signup thread somewhere else? Also, please don't kill me if I made this post in the wrong place!)

// It was just... named incorrectly, or something like that, lol

Iona was able to make it to class on time as well and took a seat in the back, praying that the teacher did not notice that she was only a few minutes late. She quickly got her maths stuff out of her school bag and placed everything on the desk in a neat little fashion.

Sage was asleep in his desk, but he woke up with a jolt (it was the same nightmare...) he forgot to put on his potion this morning, and only pure of heart could see him "Uhhhhn" he sighed and ran his long-ish well kept nails through his hair, pricking his scalp again, the second time that day "Damn." he stayed quiet, because people could still hear him, also, he was quite quiet (spell that right ten times without pasting!) himself naturally. "Mr!" he shouted, though he isnt usually that loud, so it came out quite quietly... he walked up to his teacher, tugged on his shirt, and said "Mr... I forgot my potion, none can see me, do i still have to do this?" he looked up, he looked up with his large eyes and boyish face.

San couldn't help but smirk as he rambled, quite enjoying the things that he said. He apologized again and the young woman shook her head, silver hair moving about.
"Don't be sorry. I like the sound of your voice." Which was weird for her. She quite liked his presence, as weird as he may have been. But hey, she was a vampire who would rather read a book than seduce people for their blood.
She didn't say much else as the two walked. She would wince every time she came into direct sunlight, not burning at all, but the feel of the light in her eyes was a bit of a nuisance. Finally, the two turned the corner towards the library, the girl looking up at him with a smile. "So why aren't you in class?"
