"Hey look who returned to the land of the living." Mosaic teased as she continued the card game. Any time Nana would glance their way Mosie would send a smile and wave at her. She could tell the raven haired girl was shy and wouldn't push her but if she could at least make her feel at ease, well that was good in Mosie's eyes.

After a few minutes, Nana sighed in frustration not understating the math problem. Struggling she was erasing the answers with the white eraser, write again and erase once more.

Then, in the process of scrubbing really hard on her notebook her eraser went flying to the floor, close to the group behind her.

Nana's eyes turn to look behind her, slowly pushing the chair so she can stand up. Her legs moved insecure towards the group, trying to reach the eraser which was just under a chair.
She begun to feel nervous for some reason, like someone staring at her from behind. Her hands couldn't reach, leaning forward more onto the dirty floor, she hit her head by the desk. From the impact she shut close her eyes and flopped on her bottom.

"Ouch.. Uhh "
Mumbling to herself while rubbing her head, feeling a bit dizzy she opened her eyes. Patting her knee length skirt, her hand reach again for the erase.
Stupid girl.

Everett gave Mosie a snotty look, wrinkling his nose at the girl. "Whatever.." He mumbled playfully, rolling his eyes as he watched the group play the card game. After a few moments of watching, Everett decided that he didn't know what card game they were playing. In fact, the only card games he had ever played in his entire life involved trading, as they were collectable sports cards. He gave that up when he entered middle school, but he knew his mom put all his cards in a shoe box in the back of his closet just in case.

A sigh broke Everett out of his thoughts. His eyes settled on the wet girl with a frustrated air about her. His brows furrowed, and he almost called out to her to see what was wrong, but stopped himself. He probably intimidated her. Instead he watched silently, raising a brow when her eraser went flying near the table he was at and as she attempted to reach it. Everett couldn't help chuckling when she hit her head. Clumsy girl. He got up from his chair and kneeled down, quickly snatching her eraser before her hand even came close to it. He held it out to her, giving her a curious look. "Here. Dropped this."

"Don't be such a sour puss." Mosie laughed. She liked Everett. He was a nice guy despite his sarcasm and giant frame.
She hadn't heard Nana's frustrated sigh or even seen her move until the thunk of her head hitting the table caught her attention.
Green eyes watched as Everett held up her eraser for her. 'Gentle giant.' She thought before inquiring if Nana was alright. It sounded like she hit her head pretty hard. "You're okay right? Wanna sit over here?" There was an empty seat on Mosie's left, between her and Rowan.

Nana simply froze. This boy snatches her eraser just before her fingers could reach it. Still, he was polite enough to say something to her.

Nana's deep blue eyes, slow motion like, look at this boy almost scared to say something.
Somehow, her lips formed a small and innocent smile.
Nana gulped once again, blushing slightly when her slender fingers reach to take her eraser.

In the process, their fingers touch making her to jerk a bit. Her hands become sweaty, taking back her eraser and nodded her head at him.
" Uhmm.. T-t-hank y-y-you.."
Her voice trembling while speaking, now quickly standing up Nana squeezed the eraser. Another smile across her face.

Nana wasn't paying attention at the other girl, as if she was lost in her own world.

After that, her body moved back to her desk and sat down, looking intensely at her hand. It still felt warm where his skin brushed against hers.

Another blush.
Breathe. Pause. Deep breath.

The new girl seemed to shrink in his presence, obviously scared. Everett clenched his teeth at this, eyes hardening. He hated that kids did that. He gave them absolutely no reason to be scared of him, yet they were. Brown eyes watched the girl closely as she reached out for her eraser, her hand jerking slightly when their hands touched. Everett's brows furrowed at this. And when the girl spoke her voice trembled. Was he really that scary? He stood up silently as he watched the girl retreat back to her desk, once she was seated in her own chair, Everett returned to his chair, a brow raised at Mosie. Once more he turned his attention to the lone girl by the window. "Yeah, come over here," He paused, tilting his head to the side as if thinking, "Now." It was clear he demanded that she sat with them, and he wondered just how much he could get away with. To add more effect, Everett narrowed his eyes at her, as if urging her to challenge his word.

Nana's heart still pumping at a faster rate. It was not like she got scared of him.
She was a introvert person, yet more like a scaredy cat because couldn't show her true emotions easily.

That boy she find him rather kind, it's been a long time since someone actually talked to her. Not to mention to be aware of her actual presence.
Nana heard someone else's voice asking on a demanding tone to come join them. Closing her notebook, at a slow motion got up while her knees begun to shake.

Even so, Nana managed to walk behind the room where the group was. Her left hand pulled a near by chair and simply sat down where the boy from before, returning her the eraser.

Nana gulped heavy and cling the material of her skirt with her fingers. Her deep blue eyes, sending a rather kind message as she looked at the circle of people.
Nana smiled.

Still she wouldn't speak, her throat getting drier from the nerves, with her long hair touching her face. Some people considered Nana as being Scary herself. Like a Ghost.
Worse. Like the girl from the movie The Ring.

Mosie glared at Everett. Did he really have to be rude about it? He wacked his arm although she was sure he probably barely felt it. She gave Nana an apologetic smile on Everett's behalf. It was clear she was shy but forcing someone to do what you wanted wasn't right.
"Will you chill? If she doesn't want to she doesn't have to." Mosie wasn't dumb, she'd seen Nana around school and who she hung out with. It was clear what was going on even if the tiny, flower crown wearing girl never witnessed it.
Mosie looked shocked that Nana had actually came over but smiled. "Yay." She lifted the flowers from her head and placed it on Nana's. "There, now you're part of us."

Nana smiled faintly at this very polite girl. She gasped when the girl give Nana a flower and said she was now part of the group.
Nana's cheeks got redder and softly touched the flower attached at her hair.

She nodded her head gently, then return her eyes at the boy from before. He seemed a bit upset by the look on his face.
Immediately, Nana thought it was her fault or something.

She didn't want to disturb them, obviously not being aware that why otherwise they would invite her?

" Uhmm.. I.-I .. A-am s-sorry .."
Her gaze at the tall boy, speaking on a apologetic tone and now lowers he head all shy, hiding her face behind her black hair.
Stupid girl.

Everett felt Mosie's glare on the side of his face, but he kept his own glare on the other girl, although his eyes seemed to twinkle with laughter, and his lips twitching slightly to show his clear amusement at Mosie's attempts to hurt him. He glanced over at her, a brow raised. "You hit like a girl," He whispered to her, chuckling slightly before turning his happily glaring eyes at the other girl.

Once the girl sat down next to him, Everett's face burst out in a large smile. He directed that smile at the girl, chuckling as he did so. His smile and chuckles soon died down when he noticed how introverted the girl was. She seemed withdrawn from everything; definitely shy, but almost nervous. Her skin was so pale, too, making it seem as though she were sick. Everett's brows furrowed together, and he gently touched her arm with his large hand. "Hey, are you okay?"

Nana try to calm herself down, looking up once again and gasped when the boy next to her, slightly touch her arm asking if she was okay.

Her cheeks got a more vivid colour of pink, gulped once more and tried to find her voice.
"I .. Uhmm I.. -y-es."
That was all she could manage for the time being.
Then it was silence again.

Nana could swear that the sound of her heart was so damn loud, that she was scared He might hear it as well.
Her fingers grip her long sleeves, inhaling deeply the air.

" A-are Y-y-ou O-okay?"
This time on a lower tone of voice.
A tiny smile formed from her full lips.

"Well excuse me shrek." Mosie huffed. At least he got Nana talking. Everything made her jump with flushed cheeks and shaky hands. What was she even doing here? It was clear this girl wouldn't break a rule if it was her own choice. It sort of clicked then. Nana was way to timid to do anything wrong so clearly it was someone else's doing that brought her here. She was forced into it.
Mosie glanced at Everett almost for confidence before she asked. "So, who did you take the fall for?" Mosaic hoped it didn't come out mean or anything. "Sorry but it's kind of painfully obvious that you couldn't do anything that would land you here."

At his touch the girl's cheeks flushed. Everett held back a smirk, and instead furrowed his brows in concern. This girl was so timid, it was almost scary. On top of that she seemed to be completely innocent too, so what got her a detention? Now that he thought about it, it was painfully obvious. She took the fall for someone. Taking the blame was often a heroic thing to do if one valued their friendship with the other greatly, but Everett had a feeling that this girl was forced to take the blame.

"Uh, yeah. I'm perfectly fine…" He decided that Nana stuttered too much. The stutter was most likely an effect from a great lack in confidence, and that lack of confidence had to be the effect of bullying. Just that thought made anger bubble deep in his stomach. His jaw clenched. Just then Mosie called Nana out. Everett nodded his head enthusiastically, giving Nana a hard look. "And why in hell are you wet? Did you take a swim in your clothes before you came here or what?" Everett was almost tempted to give the girl his sweatshirt, but he hadn't deciphered if her shivering was from being cold or from being nervous.

Nana shook her head.
Slowly, she bit down her lip and seemed as if she was in some sort of deep thought.

Her words didn't want to come up, getting stuck just in her throat. She then look at the tall boy, forcing a smile on her face.

Then, Nana tried to explain by gestures.
Using her hands, she suddenly got up and make movements with her hands in the air.
Same like playing Mimo and you had to guess what it was being imitated.

Her 'acting' started by showing them as she walk down the corridor, someone grabbed her into the toilets.
As afterwards, she let her head down and shake it badly also making a shape of a square. Resembling the sink that's it.

Nana lifted her head to look at everyone, gulping again and let out a sigh.

" Bad.. L-luck.."
Those were the only words she said to everyone, sitting back on the chair with this smile as if nothing as wrong.
If it was only true.

Sam, who was in a daze fiddling with a few of his cards, raised his head and realize the change of scenery at the table. There was a new girl. Titling his head in both confusion of who she was and mild delight, he smiled softly, "Oh, hi there." He took the the cards in his hand and flipped them around his fingers; he figured now he could show a little of his magic. As he turned the the cards which were originally an 8, 6, and 7, onto their faces, he laid them on the table and they spelled out "S-A-M" in beautifully written letters. "Name's Sam."

Mosie felt anger flare. Yeah she'd had a few rude comments and "accidental" shoves into lockers herself but this was beyond that. This was borderline torture. "Yeah, bad luck." Mosie mumbled to herself before speaking louder. "Lemme guess the bad luck's name is Camille?" Mosaic raised a brow. It was one of the girls that she had seen Nana with on more than one occasion. In the group of girls she'd seen the raven haired girl with it was clear Camille was the so called leader. Mosie had a few run ins with her and it wasn't pretty. "Next time bad luck sneaks up come get me okay." Mosaic looked right into Nana's eyes hoping the girl saw her sincerely.
Mosaic had often been called naive for always wanting to help people and making fast friends if someone gave her the time of day but she never cared. She liked to meet people and often went out of her way for them. That wouldn't ever change, even towards Nana. It would only solidify actually.

(Hopefully you don't mind me giving the bully a name?)

Everett clenched his jaw as Nana mimed what happened to her. He scoffed. "Like hell that's bad luck." He mumbled, crossing his arms much like a scolded child. Everett leaned back in his chair. While he agreed with Mosie that if Nana ever were to run into Camille again, she needed to get help, he disagreed with who should be recruited for the help. "Hell no. Don't get Mosie. There's very little she can do to help you," His words were playful, but serious at the same time. "You need to get someone who can help you. Get Sam or me if she ever comes back. Sam's not that scary either, but he'll be better than Mosie the midget."

Sam blinked, then taking in the situation around. He heard Camille, that bully girl, he saw that the new girl was wet. Second by second, he added the pieces together and realized that she was being bullied... In a horrible way. "Oh... Uh..." He went silent. He wa never good with these kind of situations. However, after hearing the words of Everett, he felt a little enabled to do something to help. "Uh... Yeah!"

Nana was surprised again. These teenagers wanting to help her with the bully process.

Her eyes widen looking deeply at Mosaic and then at the tall boy. Her body stood up, rattling sound of the chair and the palms of her hands supported by the desk.
It looked like she wanted to say something important.

Paused for a minute. Nana shook her head badly, ruffling slightly her wet hair. Then she bowed, japanese style, for respect towards everyone.

" T-thank y-you.. But uhmm.. I tell Y-you is b-bad luck. T-there is n-not a person."
There she said it, breathing heavily trying to deny everything.
As much as she wanted to say it out loud, about Camila, it was impossible.

However, Nana's lips from a faint smile and took the nearby pencil. Then slowly one of the cards and scribbled down her name, Nana.
Her body now leaning on the back of the chair, and reach to take out something from her pocket.

Her fingers place on the desk four candies, strawberries flavour. They were wrapped beautifully.
Nana blushed again.

"Hey I'm short not defenseless!" Mosie pouted not exactly proving her point. Even though Everett acted playful with his words she didn't doubt that he honestly thought she couldn't help Nana. It was really offensive. "And what just because I'm a girl means I can't fight right? Typical!" Mosie huffed and glared off to the side clearly upset. She glanced at Nana who denied the culprit but Mosie knew better.
