There were so many things Akane felt like a child again, if only she could remember being a child. She let out a sigh and looked all around at what the stalls where selling, they would have to get to an armory to buy healing herbs and those sorts of things. Her train of thoughts and planning crashed when Marcus spoke. "Well.." She felt bad for spending the money on things they didn't need but it could not hurt "Yes" Akane said and picked out her favorite treat.

"I better get one too. Enjoy yours." Marcus said, smiling at Akane and popping one of the smaller treats into his mouth and handing over 2 strips as payment. He chewed slowly, savouring the luxury before swallowing. He waited until Akane was done with hers before speaking again. "Alright. We should get down to business now. Actual adventuring stuff time. See any good places? I think there's an armoury up ahead."

The flavor melting in her mouth tasted so good she tried to take as long as possible to chew. "Okay we could go browse around and see what the places have before we buy" she suggested "Or buy it all at once and go relax for the rest of the day" she lifted her shoulders a bit. "But first what do we need the most" she asked as the turned to enter the armory.
Inside, it was very spacey, the shelves were all very neat. Herbs, elixirs, armour everything was neatly sorted.

"I think ... let's get everything now so we can relax." Marcus replied as they entered the armoury. He looked around at the shelves, admiring how well kept the shop was. "We need oil and a new whetstone." he said, grabbing those off the shelves, "And we'll see if we can get our swords sharpened while we're here." He let Akane deal with the herbs and elixirs, she had a better eye for them. "Maybe some leg armour." he winked at her jokingly.

Going straight over to the herbs she started picking them out; Agrimony, Astragalus, Echinacea, and many others she fought they might. "Very funny" she said giving Marcus a smile over her shoulder, but it was a good idea to get leg armour. "Hey can you remember what it was that Lief ate before we got here" she asked Marcus, they somehow had to get food for him.

Grabbing a few spare leather straps in case something broke Marcus walked over to beside Akane, done with his browsing. "Not really." he said, "But there should be someone who owns an animal shop around. They might be able to give us what we need. We'll just have to keep looking."

With a nod Akane took all the herbs and elixir and walked to pay, after paying and once outside again she kept her eyes open for any animal stores "Do you think it will be here or farther down" she half asked Marcus half wondered a out loud "It might be a big place, to big to fit in here" she said and kept walking.

"I feel like it'd be near the front of the city so people could go to it as they entered." Marcus said, "Maybe its at the other end of town? We should finish our own food shopping then find a better inn to stay at. Then we can wander around the streets and relax while we look for it." They were both carrying small bags already and once they bought food they'd have a lot more weight. It wouldn't make sense ot lug all of that around the city as they searched.

"Your right" she nodded "The Inns all look to be back up that way" she pointed to where they came from "We can go to the Inn and get a room or two if you want the we should go get our stuff from the other inn" she said almost making a face at the thought of that inn. "So here we go back up" she said an turned a corner into a road that led back up to where their inn was. After a bit of walking Akane stopped and pointed at a still and calm looking street, it was clean to, just a few people to be seen. there were only inns there "What about there"

Marcus followed Akane back up the street and looked where she was pointing. "Looks like a good place. Why don't you go back and get Lief and bring him here and I'll get us a room. I'll head to that second one on the left. Then we can drop our stuff off and keep going."

He walked into the inn and spoke to the innkeep. It was far nicer than the place they were currently at. Things were kept clean and the furniture was well made. After talking to the innkeep Marcus secured a good stable for their ride and got one room, but one with two beds and plenty of space. He felt it was better that he and Akane wouldn't be separated and it was cheaper than getting two individual rooms. When that was done he waited outside for Akane.

Akane walked back to the Inn they were currently staying in, once there she went to the room and grabbed all their things. She didn't even bother to say anything to the innkeeper mostly cause he freaked her out.
"Come on Lief" she said and put his reins back so to lead him to the new inn.

She gave a small wave to Marcus when she approached, they went to put their tired looking friend in the stable "Okay let's go put this In the room and we can be off again" she smiled and walked into the inn.

Returning her smile and wave Marcus led Akane to their room. It was on the third floor this time and the second on the left. Entering he was glad to see it was as large as the innkeep had promised. There were two beds against the back wall with a little space inbetween them and each had a table and chest to the side. There were also two desks and two chairs, one on each side of the room. Everything was made of a nice wood and polished. While the mattresses were straw they were quite thick and didn't look uncomfortable at all. "Pretty good room." Marcus said.

Akane stood staring at the room "When was the last time we lived like this?" She asked Marcus as she walked further into the room and put the stuff down on one of the desks. "Okay, now that we have that out of the way, we should get back to food shopping" she smiled and stpped outside the room.

"Yay ... food shopping." Marcus said in a very non-excited voice as he put his stuff on the desk on his side. Leaving the room he locked the door behind them and walked out of the hotel. "I guess we should head down the main street and see what catches out eye."

Once on the main street Akane scanned all the stalls before they went to them, they had to take foods that would last at least 3-5 days without going bad "I really don't have any idea what to get" she said to Marcus, there were just to many things.

"Well we should get some bread and cheese. And dried meat." Marcus said, "Try and find something green to keep us going for the first few days. And keep an eye out for the animal food place. Let's take a look." He walked forward and started searching though the stalls, looking for the best prices for good quality food.

Akane found some green foods and dries meat, she also asked around to hear where an animal shop will be. After asking around she went back to Marcus "Sounds like you where right, the animal shop is all the way down by the gate" she sighed not in the mood to walk that far.

Marcus got lucky and stumbled across a shop for travelers. As Akane was buying the other things he got the bread and cheese they needed. The bread was a special local fare with nuts and the shopkeep claimed it would last twice as long as normal bread in the wastes. He was suspicious of the claim but it was only a strip more expensive and he decided to take the risk.

Meeting back up with Akane he sighed at the news, "Guess we're in for a walk ... we need to get Lief food for today, can't wait."

"I know" she said and started to walk, she just so badly wanted to rest. They walked for quite a while then she spotted the store "Do you thinks that's it?" She asked Marcus as she pointed to the large place.

"Looks like it." Marcus replied. There were a few horses tied up outside and a fair few bales of hay. "Let's just hope they have more than just horse food." He went into the store and started looking around. There was a lot of hay as well as some carrots. And thankfully they had a decent selection of what was generically labelled 'desert plants'. Marcus began searching for one that looked right, "We'll need a lot."
