Dull light illuminated the small room, casting large shadows on the walls. In the center of the room sat Rowena surrounded by a circle of candles. Her eyes were closed and breathing light as she meditated, tuning out all senses and turning inward, letting her mind wander through her thoughts.

Knock, Knock.

Her eyes snapped open in a narrow glare as she stared at her door. Another knock was heard and in a second she was opening the door. A younger male demon stood there, nervousness and fear wafted off him as Rowena pinned him with a narrow eyed glare. The man gulped before shakily handing Rowena a small envelope. Taking the letter she read it over quickly before looked at the demon and nodding for him to leave. A smirk crossed her as the man scurried away.

Sighing Rowena turned her attention back to the letter. Seems her leader was calling everyone to a meeting. No doubt about the recent killings. She could already feel a headache coming on. While Rowena wasn't sure how the meeting will turn out she knew that a headache was going to happen whether it be now or later. Looking at the letter she noted that the meeting would be starting about now. Groaning in annoyance Rowena began to trek to the Sanctum.

It wasn't going to be too long of a walk. Then again she liked to speed walk when she was running late...or is late. Lost in her thoughts Rowena expertly traversed the streets, weaving through people will ease. As she came to the Sanctum Rowena was quick to make her way toward the meeting room. She moved swiftly and soon stood in front of the door where the two little demons stood. Rolling her eyes she simply displayed her mark before they could speak. Nodding they allowed her entrance. When she entered she was not surprised to see everyone there. Keeping quiet she simply moved to stand behind Avaddon, nodding a quick hello.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Azrael was entertaining himself by reading more news about what was going on today in Haven City on the internet through his phone, waiting patiently for the meeting to start. This is why he hated to arrive way too early to meetings. And now that he was thinking about it, he remembered that he forgot to eat some breakfast, and it's a fact that a hungry Azrael is not someone you want to deal with. He gets grumpier than usual, and if you're annoying, he will probably throw hands at you. So, the only thing the black-haired demon was wishing is for this meeting to be a short one.

Finally, a few minutes later, a duo walked through the door of the meeting room. Curious, Azrael lowered his right hand holding his phone, and lifted his head to look over at the newcomers. His whole body froze and his heart skipped a beat when he laid his eyes on Glumisun. Swallowing hard, his cheeks once again flushed pink and got warmer than usual.

"Oh, boy, here we go again," said Murasame with a scoff as Azrael quickly lowered his head and put his attention to his phone, casually scrolling with his right thumb through the news articles. However, he wasn't actually paying any attention to them, he was just trying to act cool and calm down his excitement.

After Glumisun greeted everyone and placed some drinks she brought on the table, Azrael cleared his throat before sitting straight on his chair. He casually hovered his eyes to the drinks Glumisun offered and his eyes sparkled when he spotted an energy drink among the coffees and teas. Smiling with joy, Azrael got up from his chair, leaned closer to the table, and grabbed the energy can before sitting back. As he cracked open the addictive nectar, the Ravinca leader took a big sip from it, his mouth and throat welcoming the sparkling and sweet sensation that was already familiar.

"Ah, yes, I really needed this," Azrael said, lowering the drink on his right hand to look down at it with a smirk. "Woah, you even got my favorite one. You either know me too well or this was all a guess shot. Either way, I appreciate it, Glumisun."

With a chuckle, Azrael turned his head to look at Glumisun but she was already breaking the boundaries and invading his personal space. Blinking twice in surprise, Azrael blushed a little as the Serpent Kiss leader took a closer look at him. What really caught him off-guard was how she placed her hand on his forehead and laid hers on the opposite of her hand, apparently to check his body temperature. Obviously, the poor Azrael froze on his sit out of shock. She definitely caught him off-guard on this one.

"Oh, my, this girl is really something, mhm, Azrael?" Murasame said while laughing with amusement. Nervous as fuck, and about to lose his shit, Azrael took a deep breath and gave his best in trying to keep a cool and calm composure. However, his heart once again wasn't cooperative with him. The bitch was beating way too fast that the black-haired demon was worried it could burst out of his chest.

"H-Huh... W-What are you doing, Glumisun?" Azrael asked the female in front of him, which was looking at him attentively. He was stuttering as a nervous wreck, but manage to move his eyes to look directly at hers. They were extremely close now, so he observed her beautiful purple eyes like look like a pair of amethysts. Suddenly, Azrael got lost in Glumisun's eyes, going silent for a while. Then, when he opened his eyes to say something, Glumisun leaned away from him after she realized wasn't sick, but still invited him to her place to check on him afterward. For once, Azrael cursed under his breath for not being sick.

Sighing, he leaned his back on his chair and closed his eyes, his mind still processing what just happened. His poor heart was definitely not ready for such a close encounter with his crush. It was just too much for him to handle.
"Damn, she should've warned me at the least," he thought, rubbing his forehead. "For fucks sake, I must look so pathetic right now in this state. Ugh, I'm so done with my own shit."

"Oh, darling, don't be so harsh on yourself,"
Murasame said, comforting Azrael. "You can't blame yourself. This is how it is to be crazy with love. Honestly, it's super cute and wholesome watching you act like this. Ah, to be young, alive, and in love. I'm so jealous."

"So, I am calling you all here...to wonder if you have any idea about what is going on..."

As Avvadon said his last words on the issue he was sharing with everyone at the meeting, Azrael opened his eyes and quickly sat straight on his chair. He cursed under his breath after realizing he just missed everything that Avvadon said, and there was no way he will ask or make that guy repeat himself. Clearing his throat nervously, Azrael slowly moved his body to his right and gestured Ravi to lower himself a little.

"Hey, Ravi, do you mind giving me a summary of what Avvadon just said?" he asked him with a low voice, so only Ravi could hear him. "I was, um... Distracted thinking about other important matters. Yes, that's what just happened." He casually moved his eyes to observed everyone in the room, also noticed that the other leaders made their arrival quite a bit ago and he completely missed them.

She was going to murder two certain people for her lack of knowledge of the killings. Grabbing Nue's wrist, her focus was on the white-haired male. "Where were those reports?" she asked quietly. She should have known this by now that both Nue and Asphodel always took away the reports that related to murder and the ferals. She only knows them from the news reports and social media platforms. She will have to deal with them later. Right now, she was more concerned about what the others might do.

Though they are the least affected by the said topic, it was still concerning. "Isn't the barrier breached a few days ago? It might have been the cause but I doubt the larger ferals could fit there," she stated to Nue alone. Like all the other meetings she has attended with the leaders, she kept her mouth shut and would only talk when necessary.

Giving the guitar to her friend for a moment, she took out her small notebook and started taking notes of the theories and suggestions that the others gave. "Investigation is in order, as well as strengthening both physical and magical barriers. This is merely a temporary solution for a long-term problem. By then, we have to act fast when we do get to the bottom of all this," she mumbled to herself. Before she gave her say to the problem, she motioned for Sir Avvi to project the pictures.

Looking through the pictures, Glumisun can't help but frown. There was something that did not add up. Ferals in general, from their experience, kill to eat. Their hunger is insatiable and they would rather eat everything from their victims. The picture only showed mutilated people. There were bite-marks and claw-marks but they left the body as is. The ferals did not feast upon them. Has the virus evolved?

Sephtis Pyry

Location: Haven - Walls
Time:Morning

Sephtis's dash off to the side had gone unnoticed by the demons on guard at the top. Between the nearest two watchtowers, there were a total of ten guards, four on Sephtis's side, and six on the side of Mackenzie and Serenity. Pyry lifted his dart gun, his neural implant already projecting a rough trajectory line from the muzzle. He took a shot at the closest of the guards, one of the operatives following close after him taking the second. They both dropped, the third and fourth now alerted that something might be wrong. A second shot on his part fixed the problem of the third, and a third agent's shot dropping the fourth and final guard.

Sephtis signaled three of his five operatives to return to the scale point of the wall to assist with the transport of materials over the wall, then brought the other two into the watchtower with him. They'd need to go and deal with the camera feeds before the transport team could bring their materials over.

The inside of the watchtower was thankfully simple. A few rooms stacked on top of each other. What wasn't simple was the six other guards on break on the ground floor of the tower. Septhis gestured for his pair of operatives to flank the group. When they were in place, he signaled for them to begin firing. The first group went down without so much as a whimper. As the second group was busy deciding if the first half was just tired or something was wrong, the second set of bolts struck home, knocking them unconscious.

Septhis gestured for the two operatives to remain in the room to make sure nobody else came in, then went up the stairs. The cameras were in this room. But for some reason, they didn't seem to be watched. He disengaged his stealth suit and hooked into the system, recording a few seconds to-

"What the hell do you think you're doing!?"

Sephtis whirled around, finding himself face to face with the final guard of the tower. Behind him was a small, out of the way door to what appeared to be a restroom. Of course he'd missed the guy in the restroom. Sephtis didn't deign to answer the demon, simply raising his dart gun to knock him out. The dart hit home, but the demon just didn't go down. It was only then that it occurred to Sephtis that Ren had mentioned that not all demons were affected by the drug.

Now fully aware that a hostile intruder was in the tower, the demon began reaching for his radio, but Sephtis's sword was just an instant sooner, lopping the offending limb off at the shoulder. As the demon looked at his now-missing arm in shock, a second slash took his head. It was too bad that there was no way he'd be able to clean this up. The blood was already all over the floor, and he didn't have anything convenient to clean up with. But something happening here shouldn't lead anyone to them. Perhaps he could disguise it as a freak homicide?

Actually, that had merit. Sephtis looked down at the demon corpse before lopping off the remaining limbs, placing the legs across the demon's chest in a cross, and the arms pointing towards the bathroom. He placed the head next to the door. Now, hopefully whoever found it would conclude it was someone that wanted to be seen. And wouldn't think that someone was trying to sneak into the city.

The mask done, Sephtis returned to the monitors, looping around a few minutes worth of footage, then putting a small program in place to end the loop a few hours from now. If all went well, nobody would notice.

Sephtis returned back down the stairs, gesturing for his remaining two operatives to continue keeping watch on the door to the other side of the watchtower. "Ash lead to unit two. This side's clear. How're things on your end?"

Ravi Shiva

Location:Haven - Streets
Time:Morning

Ravi remained behind Azrael's seat while each of the leaders and their seconds came in, giving each leader a respectful bow, and each second an acknowledging bow. And a particularly deep bow for Azrael, as he walked in close behind Ravi. Followed soon after by Glumisun and Nue, and then Velrosa and Ahmya right after. Glumi had brought drinks for everyone, and Azrael was quite obviously struggling to keep a straight face as she came forwards to check his temperature. It really was a mystery to Ravi just how she didn't know how he felt about her. He'd have to make a note to himself that he should try to arrange for them to have some time alone together sometime. Glumi might not care that much, but he was sure his boss would.

While the two were busy with that, he claimed his drink from the table, taking a quick sip. He wasn't much for bitter tastes, but it was damned well better than something with no taste at all. Rowena finally arrived, and Avaddon began to brief the rest of the leaders on what was going on. The murders he was talking about had to be the ones that had made the news recently. As Avaddon finished, however, he noticed a bit of movement coming from Azrael. He lowered himself down to a height that Azrael could conveniently whisper to him.

As it turned out, Azrael had been zoned out. Apparently Glumisun had done more of a number to him than Ravi thought. In as low a voice as he could use while still getting the information across to Azrael, Ravi responded: "He's worried about the murders that've been on the news. The brutal ones. Seems to think there're ferals behind them, and he wants to know if you know what's going on. Seems more like a slasher trying to make it look like ferals to me, though."

Velrosa shifted in her chair, stretching her legs out and flexing her foot slightly. Disbelief was apparent in her face while she listened to Avaddon. She deemed the entire thing was a waste of her precious time. After all, she already knew about the killings. He could have sent me a message and asked for a report.

The only thing that's keeping her from staying was the leader of Serpent's Kiss. Seeing how clueless yet eager Glumi was brought a smile to her lips. Where else could she find a so-called scholar and researcher that lacks information and is unaware of what's happening around her?

"Adorable." Velrosa chuckled while reaching for her fan under her yukata sleeves, opening it up with a single flick before placing the fan in front of her lips.

"Why can't you be like her, Ahmya?" she teased her second-in-command once again. "I would pay to see you be a complete and utter fool."

"Anyway,"
Her gaze then shifted to Avaddon, her blood-red eyes gleaming as she spoke. "We received information a few days ago that the ferals are getting restless due to food shortage. Also, I heard from the grapevine that someone's letting in these ferals."

Velrosa delivered the message nonchalantly, her shoulder relaxed and her posture lazy: as if she's telling unimportant news. "There's no concrete evidence yet but an investigation is out of our jurisdiction. After all, no one is paying me to confirm if it's true or not. As for the suspect of the murder,"

Velrosa's whole demeanor changed. Excitement was evident in her eyes as her smile beamed brightly, the fan now closed to reveal her face. "Rumor has it that it wasn't a feral demon."

After going through the explanation of what had happened recently, it wasn't long before the door to the room had opened once more and Rowena, his second in command had made herself present as well. Rather than openly greet her as he didn't with anyone else anyway, he'd give her a nod before she took a stand behind his seat just as the other two second in commands had done.
During his scan of the room, it didn't seem like any of the leaders had any actual input on the matter which made this all the more difficult. Noticing as to how Glumisun had motioned towards Avaddon about project the pictures up, he'd give her a nod before tapping a few buttons on the surface of the table as the center of the round table started to project up a large hologram that was all available to be turned in different directions and zoomed in and out as needed. "As you all can see. These attacks as I stated have not exactly been clean...though whatever or whoever is committing these murders have been smart enough to be able to come and go without leaving much to go off on."

Finally as Velrosa had been the next to actually speak up out loud about how ferals were low of food as well as someone letting them into the rest of the city, he'd narrow his gaze towards the projected screen before tapping at the table surface a few times while pondering on those possible thoughts. Pausing at the end of her comment as she stated how the murders were rumored to not be at the hands of a feral, he'd shake his head in response just to point at the picture. "That it wasn't a feral demon that did this? I find that hard to believe Miss Velrosa...surely, as crazed as some of the criminals that are out there...do you not believe that this is a bit out of hand for any ordinary serial killer?" Questioning her as he leaned back in his seat to the point of the chair itself would tilt backwards, his crystal blue gaze now shifting along the windows of the room before exhaling a deep sigh.

"However, that news you have about the food shortage and someone letting the ferals in...that is no small issue that can be left alone. I will conduct an investigation of my own on this matter. Thank you for that information...Now, before the need of ending this meeting so soon. Miss Glumisun, Sir Azrael...do you have any additional information on this matter or any input you would like to add upon this?"

Sitting by the window with his leader beside him the entire time, when Glumisun had grabbed a hold of his wrist only to question him about the reports that Avaddon had brought up, his eyes quickly widened though he would not direct his gaze over towards her whatsoever. Knowing all to well that if he did, there was a good chance that she wouldn't be too happy with any of his answers. Rather than answer the question however, he'd keep silent and focused on the meeting that was going on.
It wasn't until Glumisun questioned about the breached barrier that occurred a few days ago that Nue finally turned his head to face her once more. "Indeed...It was breached. Though we have some of our best scholars there mending the barrier to the best of their ability. I have not heard too much of their progress yet though." His voice was low to a whisper just so that the conversation would stay between him and Glumisun.

Once she handed him her guitar, he'd take hold of it while she took down her own notes beside him. The entire time Nue held onto the boxed weapon, he took his gaze upon all the other patrons within the room only to finally land his gaze onto that of Velrosa when she was staring over towards his own leader. Just from the way she had looked at Glumisun, Nue felt uneasy, his gaze turning into a slight glare even if he did not voice any of his opinions right off the bat.

While pawing at the strange invisible barrier with no avail of it changing whatsoever, Moon made sure to take in whatever knowledge he could with his covered up right eye about the barrier and where it was located. Turning his head to left before back over to the right, he estimated the size of the barrier. It wasn't until the sight change in visibility when the barrier lifted that he'd jump back a few feet away from the barrier while lowering his body along with his tail curling as he bared his fangs at what was going to happen next.
When an unknown older humanoid stepped out from the barrier to reveal himself, Moon let a deep growl leave his maw while his gaze focused on the man for a few minutes.

It wasn't until the man had offered a treat to him did Moon start to lower his defenses slightly. The smell of bacon was one scent he could never resist, well, it wasn't exactly like he could resist the smell of any kind of food as long as it wasn't dog food. Although it was bacon, he still approached the stranger carefully before sniffing at the man's hand to be sure that he didn't consist of scents that Moon had already determined by this point would be danger. After confirming that it was safe, he'd bite down onto the bacon piece and happily chewed it while his tail wagged with joy behind him.

After finishing the piece of bacon, he'd approach the man fully this time just to let his head brush against the stranger's hand while his tail continued to wag happily. All the while, he took in his surroundings about how large the area was behind the barrier.

Two minutes and twelve seconds. There have not been any reports from unit 43 since then. Asphodel rolled his eyes before lightly placing the stack of paper he was reading on the table. "Still no reply, sir," the special operatives member with him reported. "Do we go and investigate?"

Rubbing his temples, the white-haired demon nodded. Spirits he hated getting extra work when the head is out and about trying to get shit done. He wanted those lazy bastards executed but that would only mean a lot of paperwork to hide the evidence. Getting a piece of paper, he started writing his instructions and handing it to the member.
'Investigate. Be alert. Report any abnormalities around the area and make sure to track infected beings and suspicious creatures lurking around. We have no idea what happened.'

Once he was left alone in the office, he frowned and turned back to the reports. Not only have the number of feral killings increased but the virus is also spreading. Though the senior medical staff are trying their best to counter them, it would already be too late once the immune system was destroyed. Sighing in irritation, he got his weapon and hat before preparing to join in the investigation of the missing report by the tower.

"Sir," the officers present greeted before reporting what had happened, showing the brutal way the guard there was murdered. This was interesting and at the same time alarming. To think, 10 demons were easily overpowered with one dead within the span of less than 7 minutes without any witness.

"We're checking on the surveillance as well as the two minutes of silence from them."

"We will also be checking on the street cameras on who might have been near the area when it occurred."

'Check on the other units for related activities,' Asphodel typed before turning back and started reporting what they found to Avaddon via mail. There goes his afternoon nap.

Whoever did this was a professional. Maybe a demon who knows the rotation, maybe an insider who wanted something out of the city. He licked his filed fangs then, a theory popping up that it might have been the Black Cross who did this. The memory of those bastards coming in and slaughtering everyone around was still fresh in Asphodel's mind. Turning to the knocked out members of the unit, he adjusted his gloves and marched towards them, ready to interrogate and execute.

Those deaths were definitely the work of the ferals. Problem was - if the increase of feral killings was the result of lack of food for them, there should not be a body found. If it was one of the criminals, there should not be any greenish gunk or blob associated with the infected. The possibility of a serial killer is not zero, though. Regardless of who was to blame, she will have to join in the investigation whether the stoic-looking leader wanted it or not. There might be a new variant of this virus and she needs to at least be there to help.

Glumisin squeaked out from being called. She was already cursing the older leader from his little stunt as she shook her head and let Sir Azrael give in his two-cents. Really, there was no need for her to talk. All bases were covered. Handing her little notebook to Nue, she smiled. 'Gather all available references from when the killings started. If possible, collect all videos minutes before the incidents as well as names of the victims and a brief history of their lives. Also, do get in contact with Sir Asphodel for the rest of the reports.'

Though the clan was only supposed to be helping in the maintenance of the barriers and try to help the infected who have retained their sanity, this was a city-wide concern and all hands be on deck… or that of her clan. "Please update the council on what was talked about here and let them take up necessary precautions," she whispered to Nue. "And please be safe."

Azrael Blackthorne
Location: Sky Reach Sanctum | Interactions: Everyone in the Meeting Room | Mentions:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As Ravi began to explain to Azrael the topic Avvadon was discussing with everyone, the black-brown-haired demon gazed at the projection that zoomed out from the meeting table after Avvadon activated it to fulfill Glumisun's request. Images of the recent murders were displayed in the projection for the leaders to examine at their will. A deep sigh escaped from Azrael as his eyes laid on the picture where the family of four were completely slaughtered like animals. According to the report he read on the news early this morning, a demon child was on the victims' list.

"You need to calm down, Azrael," Murasame spoke a minute later. She sensed Azrael's growing anger which made his light-brown eyes glow a light shade of red. He also had his fists tightly clenched with some faint smoke coming from them. "O-Oi, Azrael, are you listening to me? Don't tell me you will go berserk right here, damn it."

"I swear I will find whoever or whatever is behind all of this," Azrael replied to Murasame, taking a deep breath to calm down his anger. "Serial killer, feral demons, I don't give a fuck who is doing this, I swear I will hunt down the responsible of this, and make it regret its own existence. Mark my words."

Murasame sighed deeply, knowing well Azrael will now do everything in his power to solve the mystery behind these murders, which means there's going to be a lot of work ahead. As Ravi finished debriefing what he missed, Azrael nodded in understatement and calmly thanked his trustworthy Second in Command.

The first to spoke was Glumisun, which was surprised after seeing the reports. Apparently, she was completely unaware of them, and Azrael saw how she quickly turned to gave Nue, her Second in Command, a death glare. Guess she was blaming the poor guy for not informing her. For once, Azrael felt bad for that weird demon.

When Velrosa began to speak, Azrael slowly shifted his eyes and listened to everything she had to add to the discussion. He leaned back on his chair and crossed his arms, comically remembering how the leader of the Bloody Moon actually gave him the creeps. For Azrael, not only Velrosa was a total beauty from head to toes but she was also scary as fuck. And let's not talk about her eccentric and weird Second in Command, Ahmya. Shadow even told him once that she had a nightmare with her thanks to her creepy mask.

In short, Azrael always makes sure to not mess with Velrosa or Ahmya. Who knows what suggestive and unpractical methods they will use to retaliate at him if he ever fucks things up with them.

"Aw, but I like them," Murasame said with a playful giggle. "Velrosa reminds me of myself back in the days when I was alive and in my palace. Playing with people and manipulating them for my own purposes was my only entertainment. And Ahmya reminds me of my cat. That little devil was always my partner in crime."

"Yeah, it's a good thing you're not around anymore," Azrael rolling his eyes. "We have more than enough with these two sadistic demons. A third one would've been a real problem."

"Oi, that was cold and mean!" Azrael chuckled as he felt Murasame pouting at him.

After Velrosa finished speaking and informed everyone of her findings and theories, one of them caught Azrael's attention. The killings were obviously made by feral demons because he read the autopsy reports of the victims, and all of them informed that claw marks were found in their remains and on a few places in all of the crime scenes. The question of how those ferals were able to escape the quarantine zone and make chaos inside Haven City was still a mystery for Azrael, but now that he heard that Velrosa believes that someone may be involved, he completely agreed with her.

"I do believe in Velrosa's theory that someone let in these ferals inside the city," Azrael finally spoke to everyone in front of him, casually raising his right hand. He never liked speaking in front of so many people even as a leader, but in times like this, his opinion matters, and the rest of the leaders want to hear them, so he had to deal with it. Taking a deep breath, he leaned forward and laid his arms on the table. "I admit that I didn't give much thought to these killings because I guess this was just a simple case of a serial killer on the loose that could've been solved by the H.C.P.D. (Haven City Police Department). However, after further investigations I made myself right after one of the killings happened in the Ravinca, I noticed that the modus operandi of this 'serial killer' was strange. The crime scenes were complete bloodbaths with corpse parts scattered around, and there were scratch marks on the remains of the victims. We all know that serial killers don't work this way. They got more elaborated and clean methods of committing their murders."

Shifting his gaze on the table, Azrael tapped his right index finger on it. "After finally realizing that feral demons were roaming out of the quarantine zone, I still wondered how they even managed to get out without alerting our security systems. Now that Velrosa mentioned the possibility of someone helping these beasts, it all makes sense now. Even without proof. This is a matter we all need to attend ASAP before another tragedy occurs. People are living in fear right now, and it's understandable. They could be the next mid-night snack of some damned ferals."

Swallowing, Azrael moved his head to look at everyone. "And, you know, I kind of feel responsible for all of this. After all, the surveillance systems covering the Neutral Zone were made by my clan. So, after this meeting, I will go there and continue with my investigations. Maybe there is something the cameras captured that will throw use some light about what's really going on here."

With nothing else left to say, Azrael nodded at everyone as a sign of gratitude for the leaders to listen to him before laying back to his seat. He crossed his arms once again and gripped his right forearm tightly. He definitely hated to speak in front of so many people, and he did his best not to look too much at Glumisun for the sake of his heart and to not lose his shit in the middle of his talking.

"Heh... You did a good job back there, Azrael," Murasame told him, trying to console him. "You earned some head pats and a free nap with my thighs as pillows."

"I pass, thanks," Azrael replied quickly, rejecting Murasame's proposals that obviously were for teasing him. But then again, Azrael secretly admitted that Murasame's thighs were indeed comfy enough to use as pillows for a nap.

Lantry patiently smiled as the dog barred it's fangs at him before catching the scent of bacon and cautiously approaching. "That's a good boy." He kindly as it takes a bite and wags it's tail in joy. The dog then brushed it's head up against Lantry's leg as it's tail continued to wag as it looked around. Lantry closed the barrier behind and looked for any identification on the dog before he had his system start sending out a message around town asking if anyone had lost the dog to make sure it was returned to it's proper owner as it was kept safely within the campus grounds.

"You look hungry, well let's get you a nice big piece of meat. How does that sound boy?" He asks with a grin as he knew the answer before he asked the question. "Well if you'll follow me I'll make sure you get a piece of your choice." He says to the dog, not expecting any response or understanding of his words beyond the caring emotion expressed in the words. "Once you're nice and full you could take a nap on the outer grounds or I could get one of the students to play fetch with you or take you on a walk if you don't want to be with this old man." He offered, as dogs often understood specific words like walk and fetch.

At least this was a pleasant distraction from having to deal with the loneliness... perhaps he really did need a pet. An Ormslíki would be nice since they were adorable and especially intelligent compared to the average pet and lower maintenance. For now he would take care of the dog until it's proper owner came to retrieve it, as he didn't want the dog to get taken or hurt with all the recent chaos he caught wind of, though he lacked any real details.

Though it appeared she was paying little attention to the meeting, from time to time, the second in command would take a glance at the topic that was up for discussion. These murders have been making waves for some time, it was naturally concerning but also something she paid little mind to. Sure the murders were horrific, but as someone with no connections to the victims, Ahmya couldn't find the energy to care.

However, it was interesting watching the leaders try to make sense of it. At least until her own made a strange remark. Ahmya scoffed at her leader's joke, her expression was well hidden behind her mask. The only sign of any disturbance was the mask's glowing red orbs settling on Glumi. "Which part do you mean? Her inability to control her own subordinates or her ditzy nature? Even I have my limits there. You'd have to pay me extra to pull that off." She mumbled back, turning her attention away from that leader and back onto the now neatly folded garments on her lap, leisurely smoothing out any wrinkles.

In truth, she also felt someone else was behind these murders. It was hard to believe a feral could pull off such a stunt and get away with it for so long. It would also be best if it was just a stupid demon making trouble, otherwise, it'd be a long while before she could make some vacation plans and get some good sleep.

As the squadron made their way to the other side, the plan seemed to be going off without a hitch, none of the guards visible to them seemed aware of any of the operatives currently getting in position to take them all out. Ren carefully slid behind some cover and aimed the borrowed dart gun at her intended target awaiting Mackenzie's signal.

Just as the first target went down, four others followed. Confused by the sight of the last demon standing, Serenity turned to find that they seemed very much aware of something being off. One of the operatives in their squad seemed to have missed.

It was a tall toned and four-armed demon with long black hair and golden eyes with round pupils that were slowly narrowing into slits. Now that their full attention was on it, Serenity noticed faint grey scales on the corner of the woman's right arm and face that she had previously thought were tattoos. Judging by the scales and the slitted pupils, it was a demon reptilian in nature. That said, if it had not been aware of their exact location before the operative missed their shot, it was now as their eyes suddenly stared right at them, likely detecting their heat signatures.

She was slow to react. While Ren was examining this interesting specimen, the other operatives quickly reloaded with the second dart and took their shots. Some missed as the target was quick to dodge. Now that they were aware of the threat, they moved away from them at an alarming pace, radio in hand already making the call. However, whichever darts hit, had some effect on the demon as she could only make a high-pitched wheezing sound that would be difficult to be picked up on the other end. Though it was clear that the solution had some effect, the demon seemed to be highly resistant to it.

"What a shame..." She mumbled under her breath as she carelessly rushed towards the target. She would have liked to capture her instead, thinking the woman would make an excellent test subject but the risks of even trying so were too high and this was not the time to collect anything for later. They didn't even have a place to stash her in the city yet.

Not taking any chances, Ren pulled out her revolver and shot the radio out of the woman's hand while continuing to make her way towards her along with other operatives who have moved in to neutralize the target. With her call cut short, the demon seemed more aware of her position and was currently pulling out two short swords to fend them off. She heightened her defenses, making it clear she was looking to hold her ground. The scales on her arms and face began to spread across every inch of her skin that was visible before. It appeared she had hope that reinforcements would be coming to save her.

It was at this time she heard their leader call over, checking on them. "There's one left," Ren answered in place for Mackenzie who was currently preoccupied with settling the matter. "They may have called in reinforcements. Not certain they could make out the call but they're bound to investigate. One moment-" She cut off as she narrowly dodged a large wad of fluid the woman released in her direction.

Rather than being repulsed, Serenity was intrigued by the sight of the fluid eating away at the metal flooring it landed on. "Her fluids appear to be highly corrosive. Take care not to get hit." She warned the others in case they didn't have time to take note of the fact.

Velrosa bit her lip at Ahyma's retort. Hearing those words come out of her second-in-command's pretty mouth almost made her giggle in delight. "Now, now. No need to be so mean." She whispered yet her voice dripped with humor. "I was merely teasing. Besides-" Casting a sideways glance at Ahmya, Velrosa licked her lips. "-I like you just the way you are."

Upon hearing Avaddon address her, the leader of the Bloody moon stared; her pupils turning into slits. "Miss Velrosa?" She didn't like how the male addressed her. There was a sense of unfamiliarity with it. A feeling that a line was being drawn.

"My, my, Avy bear." Velrosa called out to the leader of Black Rose, making sure to use the childhood nickname she gave to him. "No need to get your horns in a twist. I'm simply stating the word on the streets. But if you must know what I believe in... I highly doubt that this is a work of a feral."

Velrosa lived long enough to know that evil does exist in their world. She faces it in her office through papers and files. Every day she had to deal with information ranging from incestuous affairs to dramatical murders. She learned over the years that humans and demons are capable of unspeakable things. That is a hard fact.

"Feral demons are known to act on instinct. They're always hungry and devours everything. So why would they leave a perfectly juicy torso? Especially when there's talk of them having food shortage?"

Azrael then spoke up to share his findings on the murders. Velrosa was surprised that he agreed with what she said about someone helping the ferals. She wondered if the leader of Ravinca had heard anything else about it. Best to send a spy in their territory soon. Preferably during his investigations.

"I'm not disregarding your opinions about the killer being a feral..." Velrosa stated after having the floor to herself once again. "I'm just saying a regular demon can do it too. Heck, maybe a demon is working with the ferals."

Giggling, Velrosa continued on. "If it was me, I wouldn't stop. I'd kill even more. Push the boundaries. See how far I could take it. I'D KILL AND KILL JUST TO SEE HOW MANY I CAN GET AWAY WITH BEFORE GETTING CAUGHT!"

By the end of her sentence, the leader of Bloody Moon was panting heavily with delight. Her cheeks were flushed red while the tip of her lace gloves was ripped, revealing her long claws. The mere thought of doing something illegal and getting away with it excites her terribly!

"Anyway! Shall we end this meeting here?" Velrosa rhetorically asked after gaining her composure. "I just remembered I have a rat to eradicate. Busy day ahead."

Sephtis Pyry

Interestingly, it was Serenity who responded to his query, not Mackenzie. Given that there had been no report of Mackenzie going down, though, that was likely just because she was otherwise occupied. Sephtis walked back out of the guard tower, returning to the point where the supplies team was waiting with gear in tow. "Supplies team, the route is mostly clear. Begin your climb."

The battle on Mackenzie's side of the wall was dying down as the remaining half of the team came out of the jungle, black totes carried between each of them. Each tote was filled with various pieces of equipment, no shortage of which was C-14 high explosive. The rest of the totes contained their in-city communicators and a small collection of backup weapons. Few of which were likely to work well against most demons, but they were better than nothing.

Sephtis kept an eye on the situation as the supply team scaled the wall, keeping an eye out for any movement on the ground inside the wall. When they'd all made it to the top, he signaled them to begin scaling down, not having spotted any movement. "Infiltration team, split into two groups. Team 1 will be the group that I led earlier and will lead the way to scout for good stash candidates. Team 2 will be the group with Mackenzie. Guard the supply group and make sure they don't run into trouble."

His part said, and the fight on the wall well quelled, Sephtis began his descent down the wall into the city. On reaching the ground, he split off from the rest of the group, moving through the city to find an out-of-the-way building they could temporarily stash their supplies in until they had a real hideout.

It only took a few minutes for him to find a good location for the stash. "Ash leader to all units. Found a good spot."

A flash of movement out of the corner of his eye caught his attention as he saw a demon rushing towards the wall. "Transmitting coordinates now. It looks like our actions have gotten some attention. Be careful not to be spotted on your way over."

His part said, Sephtis used his communicator to transmit the coordinates to the rest of the team, then entered, decloaking and leaning in a corner of the room where he would spot anyone entering.

Ravi stood back up straight and retreated a few steps from the table as he finished his briefing for Azrael. The rest of the leaders seemed convinced that there was someone working with Ferals, but Ravi didn't quite see how that was possible. And then Velrosa began talking again. He'd forgotten just how scary she could be at times. He was almost glad he didn't have to be the one in Azrael's seat.

And that seemed to be it for the meeting. All the leaders had agreed it was time to end and get to their own investigations. As the group walked out, Ravi made sure to stick with Azrael. He wasn't exactly a cameras and sensors kind of guy, but he did have at least one card he could play to help out as much as he personally hated it. And if there was a serial killer working with ferals running around, his personal feelings were less important than catching the mastermind. "Boss, should I go see if I can lure out whoever's behind this? Most of the rest of you are pretty well-known, but they might not recognize me outside of my demonic form."

Azrael patiently listened to what the leaders had to say after him, paying attention to any important details. As Velrosa spoke once again, he turned his head to look at her. When she mentioned the possibility of a demon working with the ferals, the Ravinca leader blinked his eyes twice with amusement. As weird and nonsense as that statement could sound, Azrael honestly thought that couldn't be far from the truth. But, of course, he needs some proof about something that shocking.

"Mhm... She's right when she says that demons aren't that different from humans," Murasame said after being silent for a while. "I've lived long enough to witness countless atrocities both parties have done. Trust me when I tell you that humans can be more evil than us, especially when blinded by rage or envy. And you know that very well, Azrael. We saw what they did to Shadow's clan in that village in Japan. Like you, she's the last of her kin."

Sighing, Azrael lowered his head and focused his eyes on the meeting table, getting lost in his head as a wave of flashbacks hit him like a train.

He remembered when he went into a village deep in a forest of Japan a few hundred years ago. He was accompanied by an old friend and his gang, a group of demons that preferred to live outside of Haven City. There were in that forest after Azrael's friend got a radio message from a clan of werewolves begging for help after being attacked by a group of demon hunters. When they got there, they were already too late and found themselves in a wipeout village. Corpses of werewolves were scattered around, some of them missing a few body parts, beheaded, or burned alive. Mostly all of the group was covered in scarlet blood. It was such a gruesome sight that it got scarred into Azrael's memory.

Just when they were about to leave the village after wandering in hopes of finding survivors, Azrael heard the cries and whimpers of someone that came from the semi-opened door of an underground basement. When they went into the basement to check it out, they found Shadow when she was only a pup, knelt on the floor while crying desperately in front of two lifeless bodies in front of her, covered in blood. One of the corpses was beheaded. The poor thing was only wearing a dirty and bloody nightgown, most of that blood coming from a gash she had on her left leg. Apparently, the corpses in front of her were her parents, and she was begging for them to get up. When she sensed the presence of Azrael and his group, Shadow quickly turned to face them and snarled her teeth at them in defense.

Feeling empathy with her, Azrael explained to her that they meant no harm and that they were here to help the village, but they arrived too late. After understanding, Shadow burst into crying once again and ran into the arms of Azrael. Swallowing hard to not cry, Azrael hold her tightly and turned his head to look at the remains of her parents. The scene reminded him of when he saw his father laying on the ground, bleeding out after being ravaged by a powerful feral. He was a bit older when that happened, so he was able to bear with that, but Shadow was really young. Without thinking it twice, Azrael decided to take Shadow under his care and brought her to Haven City, making her a special member of the Ravinca Clan.

"It was really nice of you to take care of her all these years, Azrael," Murasame spoke, snapping out Azrael from his memories. "Mmh... Who knows what would've happened if you didn't hear her cries and left her in that village. Yeah, I don't even want to think about it, so let's not think too much about it, Darling."

Clearing his throat, moved his head to look at the leaders and realized the meeting came to an end. Nodding, he stood up from his chair and made his way out of
the room, excusing himself from everyone. Once he got out of the elevator with Ravi and got into the Lobby, Ravi asked him if he could split up and see if he could lure out whoever was responsible for the recent murders. That idea was reckless and dangerous, but knowing that Ravi can take care of himself pretty well, Azrael turned his body to face him completely.

"Just be careful not to get yourself in deep trouble, okay?" he told him with a serious tone. "I know that you can fight a whole legion of ferals by yourself, but don't push yourself so hard like last time. You remember that, right? When you tried to fight a horde of 24 ferals? You were lucky I was fast enough to reach you in time and saved your ass." Scoffing, Azrael gently patted Ravi on his right shoulder before turning around and made his way out of the Lobby. "Contact me if you find anything. I'll be at the Neutral Zone Security headquarters."

Once he exited the Sky Reach Sanctum, Azrael took out his wings and took flight, heading towards the Neutral Zone HQ, which was only a few minutes away from Sky Reach.

This was not worth his pay grade. Closing his eyes and massaging the bridge of his nose, the white-clad demon was not in the mood for this. He was never in the mood for anything related to his work anyways. This old man needs to have his naps and three-hour break time to be functioning properly.

With the other agents already scouring the city for where those killers were. Instructions were given to track and investigate newcomers as well as people who act as if they are lost. If hostility was met, they were going to have to deal with it accordingly. If this was a feral, they were instructed to capture it alive and send it to the institutes without their commander knowing.

Looking at the body bag where the dead was in, reports came in of other guards dead from different tower locations. Whoever the bastard who made his work difficult is going to be used as feral bait once captured. Too many problems within the territory already and now this? Could he just chalk this up as an isolated case? That all deaths within the span of the morning were not related? Will Avaddon even believe that?

'Take the corpses to the morgue. I'll personally clean them,' he messaged the agents before walking back to the Neutral Zone, taking the long route and arriving there during lunch, surprised that the leader of Ravinca was there. Ah, right, the feral killing. Nodding to the boisterous demon, he turned to enter the morgue.

Watching Sir Azrael create smoke from seeing the pictures, she could only hold her wrist to stop herself from going there and trying to calm the man - if she could. Listening and nodding, Sir Azrael's speech opened her eyes once again to the interconnecting responsibilities of the clans. Rubbing the bridge of her nose, she needed a live sample of that blob-thing that kept popping up from the images.

When the meeting was finally concluded thanks to Miss Velrosa, she was quick to agree with the proposed dismissal of the meeting. Getting up from her seat, she rushed to get her weapon. Giving her goodbyes, she smacked face first on the door due to her excitement of leaving the hell out of there. Tumbling out, she giggled at her stupidness and got up. This was not a new scene to anyone in that room. She has been in worse situations and compromising positions before the leaders and their officers.

"Have a nice day," she called out to the two guards as she dashed to the elevator with Nue close behind. "I really hate that place," she mumbled before violet eyes landed on her taller companion. "What do you think of all this? And why has that report not reached the office?" she asked lightly.

Waiting for her friend to talk, she had her phone out and was already chatting with Sir Avii that she will be waiting in the Quarantine Zone for the investigation he announced a while back. Like what they have said: 'It was easier to ask forgiveness than it is to get permission.' Knowing the older demon, he would decline any help given and would do it all on his own.

With sir Azrael already going through the cameras, it might be easier to get some info from him if he was in the mood. She might really invite the older demon to the territory and have some coffee. An informal discussion held more information than that of the opposite. Closing her eyes, she leaned on the wall and sighed. "Will it be easier for the city to just purge all the infected?" she suddenly asked.

First thing's first. She needs to get to Sir Daris and maybe have some information that she has overlooked.

After questioning the rest of those present within the room on the situation with the ferals, it appeared that Glumisun did not have much input on the matter as she seemed to have something she wished to inform her second in command rather than announce to the rest of the leaders. Avaddon showed no concern to this so long as the situation was taken care eventually.
The next to speak up their opinion on the matter was Azrael, he was agreeing with Velrosa on the fact that the murders and the increase in feral activity was due to the act of someone else rather than the ferals themselves. While the more obvious answer at the moment was clearly to blame it on someone at the moment to make the situation easier so that they knew they only had to hunt down a mysterious serial killer who was overly crafty, something did not sit right with Avaddon on the whole idea that someone went through all the trouble to get into the Quarantine Zone, just to release the ferals and not get caught by surveillance as well as not be torn apart by the ferals themselves.

Next, it was unexpected to hear such a nickname that he hadn't heard if quite some time when Velrosa had spoken up and called Avaddon by the name of 'Avy-Bear'. Rather than reply to the nickname let alone fully take notice of it too much, he'd listen to her explain her reasoning as to how she hadn't believed the acts of the murders as well as the increase in ferals was at the hands of another feral due to the nature of how they all knew how ferals acted.
Whatever the case was, it seemed as though the rest of the leaders were ready to conclude the meeting there as Glumisun was the first to leave with her own second in command following right beside her. The next to exit was Azrael and finally Avaddon decided to stand and take his leave. Rather than take the elevator, he'd head over towards one of the large windows in the room just to open it as it faced the direction that was towards the Quarantine Zone, the sooner he got there and proceeded with the investigation, the sooner this mess could be dealt with and things could return to normal.

With a single step out of the open window, he'd plummet from the top floor of Sky Reach Sanctum to the ground floor at tremendous speed before slamming into the ground with a loud crash. The pavement of the sidewalk cracked around his feet as he straightened his posture just to dust off his hooded trench coat before heading in the direction of the Quarantine Zone. While on his way there, the sound of his phone going off in his pocket had him pull it out before expanded it in front of him in the form of a hologram. Glumisun had left him a message stating that she'd meet him in the Quarantine Zone for the investigation, tightening his grip around his phone he'd shake his head in response before tucking the device away. Of course Glumisun wouldn't tell him that she was going to join him on the investigation, most likely knowing that he wouldn't agree to let her come along.

Whatever the case was, he'd head directly towards the Quarantine Zone without a moment to waste.
The closer Avaddon came towards the barrier between the Neutral Zone and the interior of the Quarantine Zone the more his surroundings began to change as abandoned buildings became ruins and seals were planted absolutely everywhere followed by warning signs to turn back, of course he knew all too well about these warnings and how they were meant mostly for the general public so that if anyone were to wander off in the wrong direction, they knew to turn back.
Eventually reaching the barrier where both scholars of Serpent's Kiss as well as that of Daris' university were doing research right by the barrier, many of the scholars turned when they noticed the sight of Avaddon approaching. Whispers could be heard amongst the scholars questioning why a leader of one of the four clans was here, though they dared not approach and question him even as they watched as to how he stepped through one of the openings in the barrier of which two guards stood there just to make sure that no ferals escaped through this particular opening.

Throughout the entire time the leaders were discussing the matters of their meeting, Nue kept at his seat by the window with Glumisun. The whole situation was not much of a huge concern as it was with everyone else to him so long as Glumisun was safe and Serpent's Kiss clan was protected. So once his leader handed him her notebook and informed him to gather information of each of the victims of the murders as well as any video he could gather, he'd nod his head to his instructions before taking a mental note of where he should start his own gathering of information from. Surely the Neutral Zone's headquarters would have some decent amount of information as well as heading to the crime scene itself where there was most likely plenty of investigators going through the scene.

Once the meeting finally started to come to an end, Nue was quick to stand and follow beside Glumisun to leave the room, even when she had injured herself against the door Nue was quick to open the door for her to help her leave the room with a piercing glare towards anyone who would dare attempt a chuckle at that.
By the time the duo had reached the elevator and descended back to the lobby, Nue was silent still throughout the ride down only to jolt in place at the questions that she had for him about the whole matter going on as well as the reports not reaching her desk. Rather than make eye contact with her, the male shifted his attention towards the wall and the lights in the elevator. "Truthfully, I'm not too sure. What kind of goal would someone have to be killing all these random people? From what I've read so far in the reports, these people that have been murdered do not exactly have any high standing positions or titles. So it's not like whoever is causing these murders are looking to send any particular message...as for the reports...Apologies on that Glumisun, I've noticed you've been overworked and just...didn't wish to put more on your plate. Especially with some minor issue like these murders, this should be something the authorities or myself should take care of. You should not need to dirty your hands with the likes of this.."

As they came closer to the lobby floor of the tower, the sudden question about purging all the infected coming up had Nue quickly shift his attention over towards her with a bit of a shocked expression. He would not answer her on that particular question though with the idea of that coming up, how would anyone purge every single one of the infected ferals without causing collateral damage to everything else around them in the process.
Finally, as the two came to the lobby and stepped outside, he'd give a bow to Glumisun. "I shall start my search for all those things you requested immediately Glumisun...I will keep in contact with you." With that said and done, he'd immediately rush off in the direction towards the headquarters of the neutral zone to see if he could get any footage of anything suspicious before the murders occurred.

After eating and finishing the snack of bacon that the stranger had handed him, Moon sat by the man's feet with his panting breath and tongue out while his tail continued to wag happily behind him. The sudden sound of a nap and being petted as well as more meat had both of his ears perk up before he'd hop back onto his all fours and hopped in place while his tail continued to wag with even more excitement. Nearly forgetting his mission to recon the area and take whatever detail he could on his surroundings at the many different things he was offered that he loved to enjoy.

As the stranger told Moon to follow him, he'd do just that as he followed after the older man while they approached the large structure in front of them.
During the walk, Moon would take notice as to how there were demons and humans walking and talking amongst one another even as some stopped to pet him causing his tail to continue wagging happily at the friendly pets. Even so, the sight of both demons and humans was a quick reminder to the dog that he was on a mission as he started to take scans of the interior and exterior of the structure to look for weaknesses along with taking a count of exactly how many students were there.

Something about the way Vel phrased it was rather off-putting yet Ahmya had long grown used to her leader's eccentric personality. The woman was a tease, an enchantress and yet also many people's worst nightmare. It was impossible not to find her eerily charming. "Please, you flatter me." She fanned herself lightly and nonchalantly returned to watching the leaders discuss what they know with one another.

It all seemed to be going well until Vel lost it for a moment. Ahmya picked up the change in the woman's loss of composure before she completely lost it. Acting swiftly, she swiped the closest beverage on the table and swirled ink in her palm while forming a black narrow wine "glass" for her clan leader to drink out of. With care, she poured the white wine into the glass. A sweet grape fragrance wafted in the air as she did so, containing hints of apricot and peach as well as some floral accents. Whoever picked up the drinks had a good taste at the very least.

By the time her leader started panting, she slid over the glass and lightly fanned her. "Vel, you really must restrain yourself. You'll scare the children." Ahmya whispered in jest as others seemed to be agreeing to conduct their own individual investigations. It seemed the matter was being treated very seriously. 'Great, more work.;

Thankfully the meeting was called to an end and most were already eagerly leaving the room, no doubt ready to begin their investigations. She was so reluctant to start, she couldn't even muster a giggle for the clumsy Glumi. However, she did recall noticing Vel's brief interest in the Ravinca leader.

Having been by her side for some time, she was well accustomed to her microexpressions and always acted accordingly. Piercing her thumb with the nail on her middle finger, she drew enough blood to create a small red spider and willed it to stealthily crawl towards the duo from Ravinca. Rather than attaching to Azreal, however, she chose instead to target his second, Ravi. If anyone were to charge into danger, it'd be the brute that took on a few too many ferals at once some time ago. Conveniently, the demon also had red skin, making it easier for the spider to blend in and splatter itself onto the male's calf. Though the spider was no smaller than a dime, the mark left behind was about the size of a 50 cent piece. She had the blood spread itself thin and let it drip a bit before it dried. Hopefully, if they noticed it, they'd take it as a small cut and think no more of it.

Job done, the small wound on her thumb closed and it was time for them to leave. Hovering beside Velrosa on their way out, she just had to ask. "Do we really need to personally look into this?" Though she complained, it had been some time since she's personally lifted a finger. "I could use my less appealing form to investigate if you really need me to. I also have the second of Ravinca bugged just in case." One red orb in the black eye sockets of her mask dimmed away, showing her attention was partially elsewhere. It would be a bit of a bother to keep an eye on Ravinca and do her own thing simultaneously. "However, I can't say they won't notice and come knocking."

Lantry smiled as the dog was receptive to his words, again making him wonder of how smart the dog was. He was probably being paranoid... no, all things considered it was best to be safe. He decided to scan the dog using the dining hall's security system, as that was far less obvious than using his drones. Regardless of his suspicion the dog followed after happily as they went towards the dining hall. The dog happily interacted with students along the way.

His systems notified him of an unauthorized scan in the dining hall, and the magic system scan showed the dog was filled with metal and weaponry. What sort of monsters would use a dog to do their dirty work like this? The poor thing must have been subjected to horrible pain for this. He called up his head of security who was a strong and tough demon used to dealing with threats. He asked him to watch the dog in his stead but keep the dog comfortable and give it whatever it wanted in terms of toys, food, and exercise.

"Well boy, someone far younger than myself who can keep up with you will be here soon once you're done eating to take you on a walk around campus. Now be a good boy and eat this delicious steak." He said with a smile as he waved his hands bringing food to the dog from the cafeteria.

Nue meant well but there should not be a reason for them to be holding onto such crucial details. "Keep safe," she muttered as she also bowed to her friend before moving to the university grounds once again.

And unlike the ambiance of the meeting room of the Sanctum, the School of Ink and Quill was more welcoming. Even with high security as barriers, it was still a nice place to hide from all the responsibilities. Speaking of security, she should have asked consent to make a barrier there. But what was the point of making one? Most of the people there are new to Haven and it is usually used as a hotel for travellers and those who wanted to start living in the city. The tingling of the barrier's effects has her snapping back to reality. Shuddering and grinning, she passed through the outer security and waved at the guards.

Power walking through the entrance and the gardens, she asked around where the head of the university was. It did not take much time for her to see the white-haired man and… "Aww," she gushed out, smiling in excitement at the furry companion. "I am hurt, sir," she stated once she was within earshot of Sir Daris. Placing her hand over her chest and giving an exaggerated expression she currently announced. "You have hidden such a lovely companion from me." Knowing it was bad to disturb a canine while it was eating, her attention was solely on the knowledgeable being.

"May I request your good office for me to borrow references and research you have conducted on the ferals," she stated. "I know the Institution has their own but it would help to know of the anomalies and differences between them. Oh, and if possible, even the references to recent events."

Glumisun then turned her attention to the gray hound, offering her gloved hand for him to sniff and deem her as a friend. "I have to go get to the QZ before sir Avii enters without the proper attire… again," she related. As accident prone as she was, the leader of Black Rose was as careless. She remembered what his head butler once said that when both are alone together, either one of them is sent to the hospital.

"Why are you missing an eye, little one?" she suddenly asked the dog.

Kayden 8AA010

Location: Haven - Walls
Time:Morning

Interactions: @Monbon , @kookyboy9

Kayden was silent as the leader of the Ash Wolves began his briefing of the misson that was to come in just a few hours. From where he stood by the door, he could see that the room was occupied solely by senior operatives that displayed their own talents that made them stand out from the others. With that detail minded, he knew that this was going to be unlike anything he had experienced before, but he was trained for it.
He was standing in that room, so that meant he was important. Among the errand boys, Kayden 8AA010 stood out and his leader, his master, noticed it. Checking off a mental list in his head, he continued surveying the room while listening to, and processing everything said.

His attention was momentarily shifted as another voice spoke aloud. During his decades of training, Kayden was taught to respect the word of those who would come to use his abilities, and never talk around them as they were always right.Serenity Evans, was her name, and even though their conversations were sparsed, and on occasion forced, or carried along by his own nonsense, at the moment he did not understand her. Someone who was obviously below the level of Sephitis Pyry brought up the idea of another plan. It confused the crimson haired soldier, and even more-so when he listened, going back, and updating his previous statement. Kayden had not been within the Ash Wolf for long, and it was clear he still had much to learn.

༺ ࿈ ༻

Kayden got his regular 6 hors, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds of rest that night. He was up early as instructed by his supervisor, Red-V.I.S.O.R. He needed time to fix his bed, stretch, eat, put on his Red. H.E.C.F uniform, lock on his leg exoskeleton, and gloves, perform his daily exercises- all of which he did under the watchful glare of his Doberman overseer.

༺ ࿈ ༻

Kayden knelt onto the ground as he took his time examining his his gun while listening to Sephitis' orders, only looking up once groups were mentioned. With him being number 5 he was to follow Sephitis while the others parted with his second-in-command, Mackenzie. He stole a quick glance at the taller woman before his overseer let out a low growl, ordering him to complete his inspection. He was met with Serenity, or Ren, once more as she began going over the details of the highly toxic dats they were to be weilding. He responded with a short "Understood", before leaving to follow his leader, switching his gear on before scaling the wall. His Red-V.I.S.O.R was close behind him, as usual. As they began climbing up the wall, her fur seemingly began to flake, and disappear as each microscopic plate covering her body flipped over, reflecting the enviroment around her, renduring her nearly invisible.

༺ ࿈ ༻

As soon as he pulled himself above the wall, Kayden spotted several targets spotted along the walkways. He knelt low, taking quick aim before firing his dart. It flew silently threw the air, hitting it's mark, and making quick work of the enemy. He looked about as the others on his team were dispatching guards, but his attention was mostly on Sephitis. After taking out his guard, he observed the man in his work. The reason of his positioning was clear: He was caculated, and made quick work of the situation handed to him, taking note of him dismembering a guard that had nearly caught him.
After seeing him work, he ached to know what the others were capable of. He wanted to know how they found their place within the organization. Once they had cleared a way for the rest of the team, and found a temporary spot to set up, he took his usual posistion by the nearest entrance as he awaited his next order.

Avaddon De' Angulis

Time of day

Weather - Crimson Clear Sky
Location - Quarantine Zone

The instant Avaddon stepped through the hole in the barrier the entire scenery changed around him, the once clear blue sky instantly turned into a dark blood red, even the sun itself gave off an ominous crimson glow. The surrounding buildings were nothing more than rubble and ruins while others were on the verge of collapse; each of the buildings gave off a pitch black shadow and yet even being in the territory of ferals, it was unnaturally quiet. Standing in that single spot for a few moments out of confusion as to why it was as quiet as it was when on the normal occasion, one would hear ferals howling and roaring at one another in the distance.

Ignoring that fact for the time being, Avaddon started to progress through the Quarantine Zone while shifting his gaze left to right in case anything would decide to attack him randomly out of the shadows. As expected, as he continued deeper into the territory, corpses started to become more and more of a common sight as some were half eaten with their internal organs out on display while others were nothing more than skeletal remains with pieces of flesh still stuck to the bone. The sight of all this was even more strange as he remembered as to how Velrosa stated that the ferals food source was growing low and yet there were these corpses here but what was even more strange was the fact that the corpses were left half eaten, ferals never left their meals half done.

Eventually, the male would reach the center of the Quarantine Zone only to come across a massive fountain that had even Avaddon in shock. Taking a step back, he'd lift his gaze up at the fountain and nearly falling onto his rear at what he witnessed. The once large fountain that spewed blood to fill the base of the fountain was now not only spewing blood but had corpses hanging all around the edges that were mutilated beyond the ability for anyone to determine whether it was a male, female, adult or even child. Creeping up the rest of the fountain, there were further corpses that were mashed together to form an even larger cross that had blood spewing from the sides and top of the cross as well.
At the base of the fountain stood a monstrous beast that towered nearly twenty feet or so that had it's face dunking into the blood fountain as well as using it's mutated hands to scoop up more blood as though it were bathing itself and drinking the blood.

The sight of this had the male step back once more before stepping onto a fragment of a bone causing it to crack which had the beast pause it's feasting just to whip it's head around while it dripped blood from what appeared to had been two mouths; one from it's head and the other upon it's stomach. "Wh..what...what is this.." Whispering under his breath as he stood completely still as though he were frozen in fear of what he saw. The beast on the other hand soon reached into the fountain as it tugged out a large chain before whipping it out of the fountain fully to reveal a massive anchor that swung out of the blood into the air that came quickly down upon Avaddon who still stood there in too much shock to be able to move or even register what was happening.

It did not take long for the second in command over Serpent's Kiss to end up reaching the headquarters of the Neutral Zone's authorities. Outside stood two guards in uniform that held rifles at the ready, by the time they had seen Nue arrive they of course wouldn't dare raise their weapons however, nor did they salute him as he was their their commanding officer. Nue of course did not care for this whatsoever and simply walked passed them to enter the building. Approaching the front desk who had a female receptionist who sat behind it, he'd lean over the counter with his usual expressionless face staring at her before questioning her. "Tell me where I can get the names and files of the recent murder victims from recent cases, as well as any footage just prior to any of these events." Rather than even introduce himself, he waited for the response while the female behind the desk who appeared to be a human in her teenage years stared at him in confusion before arching a brow at him. "Sir? I don't even know who you are, but you do not have access to such information. Only clan leaders and official personnel with stage 4 access cards have access to such information. I'm afraid I must ask you to leave."

The fact that was not able to get the answer in simply one question aggravated Nue as his expressionless face started to change to one of annoyance while he started to grip upon the edges of the counter till the marble started to crack around his fangs. "My name is Nue Rebellia, second in command of the Serpent's Kiss clan, and I DEMAND to have these records IMMEDIATELY." The fact that it was a human that was telling him 'no' was only making this situation all the more frustrating as he had to keep in his mind that she was only doing her job and to remain calm.
When she had heard of his title, she'd gasp and nod her head before quickly pulling the lever that unlocked the gates beside her desk that would allow Nue to progress further into the building. "O-oh! Apologies sir! H-here! Please go in, records for the recent cases are down the and third door on the left. Please note that there are a few investigator officers in there at the moment, if you could please kno--" Without letting the woman finish her statement, Nue went on his way down the hall and approached third door on the left before opening it without the care of knocking.

"God dammit! I told that girl to tell anyone who enters to knock! What the hell do you wan--" A human male officer who was accompanied by several other female and male human and demon officers was quick to be the one to speak up as he slammed his palms upon a map of the entire city just to turn his attention towards the door when he saw Nue standing there. By the time one of the human veteran officers had noticed who was standing before them, he quickly covered the officer who shouted at Nue and bowed his head to apologize to the light tempered second in command. "A..Ah Nue sir! Wh..what can we do to help you?" The officer who had his mouth covered with arching a brow as he stared at his superior with a questionable look as to why he was so nervous around the stranger who just barged in. "Give me a copy of the records and video footage of the recent murder cases." The human was quick to nod to the order and motioned another officer to go and get the requested information with his free hand.

Moon continued to follow the strange man around the campus until they had reached the cafeteria, the scent of all the different foods had his tail wagging rapidly as he sat by the man's side and kept his one good eye closed. Sniffing the air, he couldn't help but hit the ground with his back right leg with constant sounds of thudding beside him. Even with his one eye closed however, his mechanized one under his eyepatch was still scanning the room to it's exact size as well as all the defenses along with any network hacks that might attempt to trace his scans back to him. Without much trouble to worry that no security seemed to had been too suspicious of him yet, he continued to take note of who was human in the building and who was demonic.
Suddenly when the word 'steak' came up, his scanning quickly was paused and his one eye opened wide to look around for said 'steak'. When another male who was this time dressed from head to toe in a chef's white outfit approached with a plate, Moon was quick to jump up upon all fours just to begin eating the large piece of meat without a moment to waste.

Spending most of his time eating, Moon was unaware when another person came into the room that even talked about him as well as keeping her focus upon him the entire time as well. At one point, while Moon had one of his paws pressing into the side of the meat to tug off another section for him to chew, did he notice the woman who questioned him about his eye in front of him. His hidden mechanical eye was quick to alert him about how the woman was a high priority target that he'd even jump back a couple of feet even when she had extended her hand out to him. Baring his fangs for several moments with a deep growl, his grey fur was all riled up as the fact that she was a high priority target, the recording system had already been engaged the instant she had entered the room.

As the woman did not attack him immediately, Moon started to lower his guard slowly before carefully approaching the woman while his internal alert kept ringing constantly to be highly cautious of the woman. Knowing that those within the room could not understand his language, he'd quietly give off a 'ruff' to inform his own internal systems to send off a decrypted message towards his leader; Sephitis about how his current location as well as any and all guards he had seen on the way here and about the high priority target that was standing before him.
