Riley listened to the page and replied "Me too! All the way!" Riley quickly packed up her own bag and tagged along with the other two for the beach. Riley had never been, but she hoped it was as great as she's heard.

And so they set off for the beach, leaving everything in good graces, and hoping to get a little tan while away.

Chapter Two: Breaking Point
[two months later]
(OOC if you want to fast forward once a major thing has happened, such as bitrhdays, firefights, etc., just put [# months later])

The beach was everything Riley hopped it would be. Sun, warmth, water, and a surprising lack of zombies. Sure there were a few stragglers, but she assumed most of them had starved to death out here. There wasn't anyone for miles. Today Riley was walking the beach, crossbow in hand, feet dipped into the cool water. It was another hot day, and actually the day before Loriana's brithday. Riley was excited to give Lana the present she got her, hoping she would like it.

Tip: zombies don't starve.
Lana waded around in the shallow water, eyeing a very large rock. She decided to swim to it. a minute later, she yelled, "Riley!!! Come here! There's something you might want to see, so bring our weapons!" Lana opened a dented metal door, that seemed as if something tried to get out.

Zeph stopped swimming, grabbed Loriana's present which was an automatic sniper rifle, made as a prototype in the Saints' compound. He grabbed his M110 and walked to the door.

Riley spun, looking towards Lana. She grabbed a few weapons off the beach where the others had laid them and jumped into the water swimming out to the rock and climbing up, "What? What'd I miss?"

"Who knows. This isn't somewhere I'd like to explore on my own" Lana said, opening the door. It seemed to be an amazing underground catacomb of passageways and bottomless looking trenches.

Riley peeked into the entrance, glancing at the others "Anyone got a flashlight?" she asked looking between the two. She only had her crossbow and a couple of knives on her.

Lana looked over her shoulder, and suddenly something dashed out, knocking Lana out, and hitting Riley so hard, she fell back into the water.

Riley popped her head back up and took a breath, running a hand through her red hair, brushing it out of her eyes. "Okay. Great. What was that?" Riley said spitting out water and climbing back onto the rock.

The beast had jumped into the water and had now swam off. Aragwen was laying still on the ground, blood coming from her head from where it had hit solid rock.

''Holy shit!,'' he said. ''Never know what the hell will happen.'' He walked back towards the door, wandered around, turned on a flashlight and saw a door labeled, "LAB''. He walked in and saw zombies. After killing them, he saw a setup with another label that said: ''Bio-Weapon, LiquidAss-394''
He laughed at the funny name for a what seemed to be virus. After piecing up clues, he figured that terrorists made the virus and this is what made all the zombies. He didn't want to catch anything, so he went out and helped the girls up and told them what he'd seen.

Lana sat up, dazed and injured. Suddenly the beast had apparently transformed into a huge monster, and quickly grabbed Zephs leg, and tossing him aside, while slamming Riley into the rock wall, and picking up Lana, squeezing her until her ribs were broken. Riley had recovered quickly, though her wounds were still ever-apparent, shooting the large tentacle holding lana in the air. Lana dropped to the ground with a thud, hardly able to breathe, feeling a pain in her chest so sharp, she could barely stand it. She had been pierced through one lung by broken rib bones, and was struggling to hang on.

Zeph was knocked out. Floating in the water, he had a broken leg. Unconscious, he floated far away to shore, where some Ruff Riders peculiarly were, and they captured him for questioning.

Hanging on for dear life, she dragged a now unconcious Riley to the top of the rock, before falling back down to where she had been dropped, to die just a half a day before her birthday. She faded in and out, and thought of her happiest moments with her friends. In this, she embraced death as it came full steam ahead, to drag her to the depths of whatever hell await. as her life left her body, she forced a slight smile, clutching the gifts her friends had given her in each hands.
I will start as a new character soon, I'd just like to see how you all will react to this. Interesting, am I right?

Zeph woke up in the most sterotypical interrogation room. He saw the soldiers holding guns at him, as he was defenseless in a tied chair. ''WHERE ARE LORIANA AND RILEY?'',he yelled. No-one game him answers. ''Listen, kid. We want to know what you're planning against us. Tell us now, and you won't get shot.'', the Death Angel-Ruff Rider interrogator said. ''Fuck you!", he yelled. He noticed the ties were just rope, and he broke through, knocked a soldier out, took his gun, shot the other two, found his equipment in the left corner, and escaped out the back door. He took a look around the place, and noticed he wasn't far from the beach. After 15 minutes of running, he saw Riley sobbing in her hands and a dead Loriana, with a smile.

Riley was now alone on the rock, mainly yelling for Zeph. She was dazed from just waking up, and horrible dizzy. She couldn't find him, and he wasn't responding. When she turned she saw Lana's body. She ran and tripped, falling on her knees next to her. She pressed two fingers against her neck. No pulse. Riley took a deep breath, not sure how to react. She just lost one of her only friends "Lana, come on! Come back, please! I- we need you! Please." Riley slammed her fist into the rock, feeling her knuckles crunch. She sobbed, choking. She did not even notice Zeph coming up, she was so distraught.

As if to sound the final piece of the puzzle for closure to Lanas death, it began to pour down raining. Lightning crackled, hitting directly where lanas body was, turning it to ash. as wind swept the ash away, it revealed to large crystal gems.

Riley was about to chase the dust, not ready to let go but once again fell. She once again, hit the stone, her already broken knuckles crunching again. The rain was freezing, and chilled her to the bone. The sunny day was suddenly gone and the wind caused her to shake. Her teeth chattered as she stared at the gems. She didn't want to touch them, so she just stared, sitting numbly on the rock, staring at the place Lana's body was, and where the gems were now.
