"That's quite horrible of them. Why would they do that to you?" while Adec's words sounded rather cheesy, the frown on his face told otherwise. In his mind, family was meant to love and help you, not terrorize your existence. He had begun to wonder what kind of home life Karu had experienced when the elevator let them out and he caught his first glimpse of the study.
"Wow..." Adec looked around the room in amazement, taking it in. Walking further in with Karu, he came to the window that overlooked the lake. A small smile graced his face as he watched the gentle waters, "This is amazing. Before I came to the Academy, I actually dreamed about having a place like this. Somewhere peaceful where I could read with a beautiful view of a lake or some mountains. I have to say, Karu, your home is fantastic," for a moment, he considered adding that she was even more wonderful than the house, but decided against it. I don't want to creep her out and scare her, so I had best keep my mouth shut on that front.
