Taka's right arm was caught by Zheng while he was still in the air, something Taka had half expected to happen as the attack he had used wasn't near complex enough to catch Zheng completely of guard. Taka then noticed Zheng swinging his legs around to hit Taka in the left side of the head...this guy really had a thing for kicking people's head in...literally. Taka then raised his left arm up to try block Zhengs legs with his left forearm as Taka then extended his index finger on his right hand as he began to charge up a Hado 4 a lot faster than before. Taka had no intention of weakening this attack and prepared to fire it straight into Zhengs gut
"Good reflexes." Was what he said to Taka for blocking his kick in that short amount of time. This was a trick that he had done to other shinigami in his squad and it usually knocked them out cold in one go. It looked like this guy wasn't your run of the mill shinigami. However he was still rough around the edges though with his training this guy could become a force to be reckoned with. Zheng noticed that he was trying to use hado four again though it was much stronger than the half assed version of it. As soon Zheng's attack was blocked he leapt up into the air and pointed his index finger towards Taka's hand. "Hado 1: Sho." From his finger a small force pushed down on Taka's hand towards the ground that prepared the kido just before he could fire it.

Taka watched as Zheng launched himself into the air to avoid the Hado 4, yet before it could fire Taka's hand was forced down by another hado causing it to fire into the floor, However with Taka's left hand he extended his middle and index finger as he fired an orange kido rope known as Bakudo #9 Horin. Taka aimed for the rope to wrap around Zhengs legs so Taka could then slam him down into the floor. One thing that would likely be noted is just how much better Taka performed when the pressure was put on...it was almost like he turned into a completely different person

Dammit he underestimated this guy. He expected that Taka wouldn't be able to follow up after his hado was directed so easily away from him, but he had another kido up his sleeve. He couldn't do anything, the bakudo wrapped around his legs and slammed him down to the ground, but soon with sheer strength his legs broke free and he stood up, dusting himself off. Now he knew how the previous third seat felt when he slammed her head into the ground. "Good show Taka, good show." Zheng smiled, sauntering towards him with his hands in his pockets. "You seem to be a bit of a slacker, but I'm sure that we'll knock that out of you." Zheng motioned one of the squad members watching them to walk over to them. "Show around and see to it that he is shown his quarters. I've got some paperwork to do." Without saying anything else he left for his office.

Kurisu waited for Nadameru to make a move, it seemed she was planning to move in slowly as opposed to swiftly...a sound plan, yet Kurisu had to test her properly and so he'd put the pressure on early so he could disrupt her thinking, send her into a panic...this was more of a case to see if she could keep calm and collected under pressure. Kurisu took a deep breath then placed his right hand on the hilt of his Zanpakuto and began unsheathing it as he used Shunpo to get to behind Nadameru so they were back to back. Kurisu then turned to his right, slashing his Zanpakuto towards Nadameru, aiming for her neck. He didn't put all his effort into these movements, this was a spar but also a test of sorts and so he couldn't go completely easy on her...but one thing had to made clear here...he had no intention of cutting her...if she failed to dodge then Kurisu's Zanpakuto would stop inch's from her neck...

The slow approach was agony for Nadameru. She prefered to have a more aggressive start than she was showing off. After all, she had been the big fish om a small, academy sized pond. Truth be told. she had gotten so used to winning that she had neglected doing much serious training.

She instantly felt her knuckled tense as Kurisu put a hand on the hilt of his sword. It was a good thing that he had, because she was completely unable to follow the shunpo of her cousin. "C...crap."

Internally, she knew that she needed to dodge. It wasn't because of any intel or because of knowledge; she had to follow her instinct. If she outclassed someone as much as Kurisu outclassed her, she would go for a backwards slash from...above? No, the side!

She didn't have a chance to second guess herself as she ducked as low down as she could, narrowly avoiding the path of the Zanpakutō of her cousin and putting her low and in a bad position to swing a blade. She quickly moved her left hand, so that her index finger was facing her cousin's gut. She could't panic about hurting her kin: at worst, he would probably get knocked back. "Hadō #4. Byakurai!"

Taka watched as his Bakudo caught Zheng and slammed him into the floor with succession, however just as Taka was about to prepare a follow up Zheng speaking caught his attention and snapped him out of it as he stood there with a slightly confused face...Did...did he just get accepted? This fast? Well...that was good then! this meant he didn't have to use so much energy...although he had used a bit despite not doing to much. Before Taka could say anything Zheng had gone off to his office...now Taka was left with a random Shinigami of the Squad who then began showing him around

As the shinigami showed him around he told Taka about the rigorous, almost hellish training that Zheng makes them do every single day such as running seventy five laps around the barracks, dodging swinging logs for ten minutes straight, one hundred push ups, one hundred and fifty sit ups, and much, much more that would make squad one members want to die.

It took a long, but Zheng finished the monthly report. He leaned back against the chain and sighed, closing his eyes briefly as he let his eyes just have a little rest. Today's been a long, long day and now he just could use a break, but now he had to go and give Juki the monthly report. Sighing heavily, he stood up and made his way through the barracks until he left the barracks, taking a leisurely stroll through the Seireitei. It truly was a lovely day to be taking a walk; the sky was blue and clear, the scent of flowers wafted in the air, and the sun was nice and bright. It stopped when he finally arrived at the barracks of squad one and soon found himself at the door of the head captain's office. He knocked on it gently. "Head Captain sir, it's me Rui Aizheng. I have the monthly report."

Taka sighed hearing how much work he'd have to do...he'd need to find some way out of such work, he wanted to be laid back not being forced to work his ass off...regardless of weather it'd make him better or not it was still not something that sounded like a lot of fun but regardless...he'd likely have to do it...but not if he could help it

~Squad 1~

Juki sat within his office going over a few reports when he heard a knock at his door causing him to look up as he heard Zhengs voice "Enter" Well...now Juki had most of the Squads reports but as usual Squad 11's wasn't here, he'd likely have to go there personally to force Shiro to do it again, this thought caused him sigh very lightly at that fact...such a good fighter but so lousy when it came to doing the other important parts of the job

At the Head Captain's word he entered the office and bowed his head in respect for him. Zheng walked over to the desk and placed the papers down onto the desk and bowed his head. "I would also like to apologize for my rude behavior from before. I was only skeptical of the situation, but that still doesn't excuse my actions. I shall take my leave Head Captain. Good bye" Zheng turned on his heel and began to walk away towards the door.

Kurisu twisted his body to the right and aimed to knock her hand away with his right foot as he then shunpoed back a little as he then extended his left arm towards Nadameru and extended his index finger as he prepare to use Hado #1 Sho to push her back slightly.
Nadameru was surprised by the speed in which her blow was not only noticed and anticipated, but in how quickly it was pushed aside. Still, she had brought herself some room to breath, and she was thankful for it. The mere fact that he was taking this so seriously was good. It meant that she was making at least some sort of good impression.

The motion of his extended middle finger made her fear that he was going to throw it his own Byakurai, and she knew that she wouldn't be able to do much about it with Kidō. That meant she'd have to clash with it using her blade. Gripping the hilt of her sword with both hands, she prepared to slice through the incoming Kidō stream.

It never came though, and instead it was a Sho that flew at her. She pushed back against the force of the Kidō but it pushed her off of her feet and through the air. She knew that she was going to be forced into the wall, she just had to make use of it. Righting herself with an almost unnoticeably small shunpo, she manoeuvred through the air so that her feet were facing the wall. Then, when she her feet touched the surface, she pointed both hands towards it and shouted out. "Hado #1 Sho!"

Combining the force of the Hakudo with her quickest Shunpo, Nadameru catapulted herself at Kurisu, hoping to surprise him with an unexpected burst of speed that would allow her to bring her Zanpakutō up to slash him across the chest. It was a fairly blunt attack, but it was one that was designed to take him by surprise. So far, she had been focusing on unorthodox techniques and unusual improvisation. It was...surprisingly fun, actually. She hadn't been tested like this in a long time.

As Zheng put the reports on his desk Juki nodded. Picking them up to look at them for a second as Zheng began to walk off to leave "Hold on a second. What happened before is in the past, I took no ill feelings from that situation. Some news has been brought to my attention recently...and it may regard you...and the Zanpakuto you carry...Would you care to listen to what this news is?...I assure you...it will be helpful and useful to you"

Kurisu watched as his Hado #1 made contact with Nadameru and pushed her back enough only to send her flying towards a wall, yet the way she made use of this situation was interesting...She thought quickly...that's what Kurisu would have liked to think but only time would tell if this was the case. Kurisu noticed Nadameru now flying towards him at a great speed, preparing an attack...even this way she was fighting meant Kurisu had to adapt to the constant changing situations, keeping calm and keeping control of the situation was important yet with how she was fighting that was something that was difficult to get a grip on...and so even Kurisu had to adapt to this. Said he used his full power this would be a very different situation but at the level he held himself at right now he did have to respond to every action she made.

Kurisu watched as Nadameru now got closer, his eyes narrowing slightly as he then raised the back of his left hand to the oncoming slash, a small blue orb then formed on the back of his hand, this was Bakudo #8 Seki, her Zanpakuto hitting this would cause it to repel, Kurisu would then twist his body to his right to effectively step to Nadameru's side, with his Zanpakuto still in his right hand he extended his index and middle finger together and went to press them against Nadameru's side as he planned to use Tsukiyubi to send her flying off.

(Totally didn't edit just to take an extra 'o' out of Hado <.< >.> totally didn't spell it hadoo)

He stopped dead in his tracks at the Head Captain's command and turned to the bone white man with the matching bone white hair. It was good and all that he held no ill against him for his words from before. The last thing in the world he wanted to happen would be to piss off someone of the magnitude of the Head Captain, especially if he wants to get up higher in his career as a shinigami, but what is this news? What news could hold about Tenzai and him? Zheng's eye glanced down at the golden bangles, Tenzai, his zanpukto and partner that was always with through thick and thin. Now that he thought about it his zanpukto was a complete mystery to him. He didn't receive Tenzai from the school, like many other students of the Academy he was given an asauchi though there was a problem...he can't wield a sword or any weapon for that matter. No, he received Tenzai from his mother that said that he could make use of it someday instead though at the time he only thought of them to be just regular gold bangles. It wasn't until in the academy that he accidentally entered jinzen when he was sleeping that he realized that it was a zanpukto. That is all he knew. Why did his mother have Tenzai was beyond him. "What is it that you wish to tell me Head Captain?"

Before exiting the changing rooms, Hioshimi took the time to compose herself and her plans for the future as they stand so far:

1: Stop her newest friend from being (presumably) determined to kill everyone in the Seireitei.
2: Find a way to convince Squad 12 to consider focusing more on the maltreatment of the Rukongai.
3: Discover the reasons behind her unusually active Asauchi, and hopefully find a solution to that too.

Hioshimi briefly considered herself lucky that she wasn't like the majority, who aspired only to become stronger; it would've been far too overburdening on her. These goals seemed much more morally inclined...and much harder.

Hioshimi unlocked the door to the changing rooms, flipping her clumped, wet hair with a quiet splatting noise and flashing a bright smile at Kame. "That was a nice bath!" she commented, slipping her Asauchi onto her belt instead of holding it. It was certainly a very enlightening experience, accompanied with warm water and strange bathsoaps. Hioshimi briefly wondered if all of her meetings with Kame would involve some deep and serious conversation, as has been the theme throughout her stay thus far. She gestured to the exit, and lead the way back to their rooms.

The passage from bathroom to dorms was completed in a very unusual silence from Hioshimi; despite her attitude seeming to have flicked onto the default optimistic and contented mannerisms as she walked (One wouldn't have been able to tell that moments earlier she had been claiming that both of her lives were part of a grander scheme in which the individual progress of a single life meant nothing whatsoever) her lips remained firmly shut, not even an idly hummed drinking-song managing to escape. The tell-tale feature were her eyes, for she was not focusing so much on the literal path ahead of her, but instead her eyes flickered like she was analysing multiple documents spread close together. Clearly, Hioshimi was thinking hard on something.

So much so that when she reached her door, she briefly emitted an expression of mild surprise. "Thanks for the bath, Kame. If you need me for anything, just knock on the wall like last time, yeah?" said Hioshimi, turning to face Kame and shedding away her distractions like a second skin - for around half a minute, she seemed to place aside all of her thoughts and dedicate her attention to Kame. "I'm serious - if you need anything, just ask."

Hioshimi entered her room and found a cube sitting on her chest of drawers. After the incident with the baths, Hioshimi was unsure what to do with it, but she unsheathed her blade warily and approached with extreme caution. After poking the cube several times (thus assuring that it wasn't a latent explosive) Hioshimi then deemed it appropriate to read the note accompanying it, and with an excited squeak, immediately stored all of her belongings and spent the next half hour constantly re-arranging her room with the aid of the tiny cube in her hands, like an excited child with a toy.
It felt good to have Hioshimi smile at her again. It was like an unspoken sign of forgiveness even though she hadn't seemed to take offense. Holding her towel in one hand and her Zanpakuto in the other, Kame followed Hioshimi's lead back to their rooms. The silence made the trip twice as long - even though it was the same silence as before. Things had changed in the small span of time she'd taken a bath more than the five years at the academy. Her hair left behind a small trail of drips in the hallway, something that made Kame regret not taking the time to dry her hair. As they reached the doors Kame turned to say her goodbyes to Hioshimi only to find herself lost for words as she offered her thanks and her help if Kame ever needed anything.

Kame only nodded once before Hioshimi disappeared into her room, only managing to speak once she was gone. "Thanks Hioshimi." Though she had meant it, there really was nothing Kame felt Hioshimi could do to help her. Not unless she lost the purity that made Kame like her in the first place. She stood there a while before entering her own room. The first thing she noticed was the strange cube laying smack dab in the middle of her room. As she had very few possessions of her own, it stood out like a sore thumb. Kame hesitated, dropping her towel and her sword as she knelt down to pick it up.

What was it? A spying device? A bomb, gifted to her by one of the 12th Division's maniacs? The note scrawled nearby explained everything soon enough, and Kame's mouth twitched in irritation. At least at the academy there'd been such concepts as privacy. It unsettled her that this Nene had the ability to just come in whenever she wanted. Though the doors could be forced open by herself, it was another concept when someone else presumably had the keys to their rooms. At any rate, Kame wasn't one to trust the devices of the 12th Division so easily. She set it down slowly, pushing it towards the door before slipping into bed. She made a mental note to wash and obtain a new set of clothes the next day, as the pile grew ever smaller. Too tired for even a small session of Jinzen, Kame nodded off to sleep, her wet hair clumped on the pillow.

Once the attack hit, the hands automatically flew back onto his arms. With the chain wrapping around his arms he knew what was coming, though before it hit he deactivated his jet arms causing them both to fly back towards the ground. "Shit," he mumbled as he raised from the ground they both had fell onto hard. He ran a hand through his hair that got a bit frizzed from the electricity, but he was alright from it all. He closed his eyes and began looking for her spirit energy, soon finding it, though he didn't go for the attack.
Takara pouted her face when she started falling. "Cheater!" She shouted before falling face first on the ground, which made her tap her leg on the ground in pain before standing up and eyeing him. She tried to think of many ways to break through his defenses, but all of them seemed futile.... all except one. She started laughing quite evilly as she skipped towards him. "Ahhh my prince is stronger than ever. Its so lovable." She said winking at him before shunpoing behind him trying to knee him in the back of the head.

Two people strolled through the pathways together, one calm and one more jittery and way too excitable. These two were called Ranmaru and Fuki. Fuki being the excited one wearing a mask, while Ranmaru was the calmer one of the two. They both however reached the same destination, and when stated their wanting to enter, were allowed inside. "Ill go tell the capt-" A shingami was saying before Fuki covered his mouth and shook his head. "Nononononnononononononono! Get the lieutenants! I heard the captain is a big meany face! He might make us do something stupid like get him hair spray or something! I want fun induction, not a boring one by a meany head!" Fuki stated crossing her arms as she pouted which made Ranmaru blink before shrugging. The shingami just blinked before a woman dropped from the sky with her arms in the air. "Yes he is! Luckily I am fun and not a meany face! Now youuuuuu!!!" Aya shouted pointing at a giggling Fuki. "We will throw down like two big independent women, who don't need no dick captain!" Aya shouted grabbing Fuki, dragging her off before stating something. "Asuka!!!!! You take the calm boring one!!!" Aya shouted, which made Ranmaru blink their eyes before sighing.

"What is it that you wish to tell me Head Captain?"
Juki closed his eyes as he took a deep breath, thinking about how he would explain this to Zheng...it seemed he didn't know much about this. "Well. I will try keep this simple for now. Let's start with your Zanpakuto, Tenzai. That Zanpakuto you wield is not your average Zanpakuto, I'm sure even you have picked up on this...but the unusual thing about that Zanpakuto is that it is older than you and very likely older than myself. Tenzai once belonged to a man known as Chiyou Dequan. From what I know the man himself was nothing special...in fact he was almost always ill but this may have rooted from the fact he was from the 72nd Rukon District. However despite the constant illnesses and such he persevered and showed incredible spirit. Dequan joined the Gotei 13, passing the Shino Academy and becoming a full fledged Shinigami...the odd Zanpakuto he received was the very same one you have now and with Tenzai he became a Captain...one of the more feared ones at that. Dequan went on to eventually get married and have children, alongside being a Captain, this was pretty incredible. Yet the unfortunate side to this story is that his illnesses had caught up to him...eventually taking his life. However Dequan didn't just end up buried like most...he ended up being absorbed by Tenzai. I can only speculate as to why but that is something not important here, what is important is that Tenzai accepted one of Dequans sons as it's new master and with it...new powers. The family grew over time and eventually became more of a clan...everytime the leader passed away Tenzai would absorb them. Whoever next could wield Tenzai would become the next leader of this clan and so things continued on like this for generations until one leader in particular came along. Chiyou Hai. She decided to stand against the Soul Society claiming it was corrupt and that everything needed to be reformed. The war between those of the Soul Society and the Chiyou clan went on for three years until the Chiyou clan eventually fell and with what was left of the clan then scattered in order to save themselves. Since then the clan had been mostly forgotten and so the name of the clan was never uttered...it just became part of history. However some how you've gained Tenzai...this is something that'd only be possible through the Chiyou clan and so I believe you see where I am going with this. You're apart of the Chiyou clan, you're it's new leader...you're Tenzai's new master...What is left of the clan is unknown...the only link we have is you as one of it's last survivors...." Juki then opened his eyes to look at Zheng "This may be a lot to take in...but it's important you know of this."

Juki then let out a sigh before speaking "I'm afraid there is some bad news...I'd like to do things a different way but Central 46 do not wish to do things as I do and their word goes against mine in this case. So I'm afraid I'm going to have to have you arrested and be put on trial..." At that point many Shinigami from Squad 1 entered the room, their Zanpakuto's drawn as they surrounded Zheng as they prepared to arrest him "Central 46 are certain this will end in execution...If you come quietly they may be more lenient on you and I may be able to try do something despite how the odd's are stacked against you...just know it is not the way I wish to handle things, I doubt you will turn out the same way and I'd like to keep thinking that despite everything. However with regret I place you. Chiyou Aizheng under arrest, you will be jailed and put on trial where Central 46 will decide your fate..." The Squad 1 Shinigami then proceeded to arrest Zheng through the use of special equipment made to make sure criminals couldn't escape or use anything such as Kido to escape. Zheng would then be taken to the maggots nest and put into a high security prison cell...

You're apart of the Chiyou clan, you're it's new leader...you're Tenzai's new master...What is left of the clan is unknown...the only link we have is you as one of it's last survivors...." Juki then opened his eyes to look at Zheng "This may be a lot to take in...but it's important you know of this."

...What? Is this guy serious about all of this? He knew that Tenzai was unique, but whoever heard of a zanpukto that kept going from master to master before absorbing them as they died. And there was this business with this Chiyou clan that Tenzai is related too. This guy...Chiyou Dequan sounds like an admirable man, but he was Tenzai's original owner? His weapon is even older than the Head Captain by who knows how much and that's saying a lot. He could relate a lot to this guy though; they both grew up in very poor sections of the Rukongai and both had aspirations of becoming shinigami despite their destitute situations only to overcome adversities. If this guy really was Tenzai's original owner then he was glad to be associated with someone like him. It still didn't make much sense to him how Tenzai was able to do this. Zanpuktos are meant to be personalized weapons that have formed a bond with their owners and then take on unique forms and powers based on that person, not hand me downs. The only things that saddened him about the story was that Dequan ended up losing against his illness in the end and then generations later Hai starts a civil war, causing many of the Shiyou clan's deaths and their disbanding. How Tenzai ended up in the hands of his mother and then to him is a mystery to him though he assumed that she knew what the zanpukto was, leading him to believe that she is apart of the clan. "Huh, clan leader huh...?"

He had stared off into space just for the brief moment, but was brought back to reality by Juki's words...This had to be a joke. No this really had to be a joke! "Sir there must be some mistake! I haven't done anything wrong!" His words went unheard and was dragged away by the squad 1 shinigami. Much later he was in a cell, sitting with his back against the wall. He looked down at his white robes and the wooden cuffs around his wrists and ankles. It felt so weird not having his zanpukto around his wrist. Tenzai had never been taken off him before and it felt so lonely...Life was unfair. None of this was his fault and yet he was going to die for his clan's mistakes. God what a life he had.

Nadameru was feeling good about herself, for having thought of such a good plan on the sly. She was hurtling towards her cousin at an impressive pace, if she did say so herself, and she was sure that she had caught him off guard!

...That was until she saw the little blue ball of light, having formed at the back of her cousin's hand. "This one is gunna suck." She didn't have the time to stop herself, or turn against her own momentum. She watched helplessly as her Zanpakutō slammed against the Seki and launched away from the captain. She managed to barely keep a grip on her weapon, and she was off balance. Helpless to the follow up Hakuda strike.

She hurtled across the room, bouncing off of the floor once before righting herself and landing on one knee. Somehow, she had kept her Zanpakutō in her hand, and she slowly rose to her feet. "You are amazing, cousin. I don't think I'll outthink you any time soon without a little bit of help.

Grinning, she twirled the Zanpakuto in her hands with a little flip, so that she held the blade away from herself: opposite of how a blade would normally be held. "The cycle unending, yours is the life giving kiss, and the life-ending roar: Cascade down, Shizukana Kōu!" The weapon itself seemed to explode into water, as the sword in her hand quickly reformed into a beautiful Naginata: The wood of the shaft a beautiful white ash looking substance and the blade etched with several waves, pointing to the floor. "I hope you don't mind, cousin, but I plan to make a wave or two." She grinned broadly, before surging towards the captain with a number of shunpo steps.

The attack seemed to be a very blatant charge, but oddly enough, she was very slow to advance herself into slashing range. The reason why become obvious after a moment, as the sound of something whistling through the air came from Kurisu's right: A whip-like tendril of water, held in Nadameru's right hand. At that moment, Nadameru swung the Naginata downwards at her Cousin, trying to use a two-pronged attack to befuddle him and score a blow.

Asuka stood just outside the barracks, reading a book until she heard her name called by Aya, this caused her to close her book and adjust her glasses as she then walked over the where Aya was until she then dragged one of the two new people off. "Always creating so much Drama..." Asuka looked at the person left then spoke "So you're the calm and boring one? Well if that's the case then things should go smoothly here." Asuka then turned and began walking towards the barracks entrance "Follow me..." Asuka made her way to an indoor training room where a few other Squad 8 Shinigami were training. Asuka made her way to the center of the room then turned to face the new person, adjusting her glasses once again as she then spoke "So. Introduce yourself. I wish to know a bit about you before we conduct the physical test..." Asuka pulled out a small notepad and then a pen as she looked up at the new person, waiting to put their information onto the paper

Kurisu watched as Nadameru flew off across the ground from Kurisu's Hakuda. He noted how she managed to keep a hold of her Zanpakuto, clearly he'd see why soon enough. "I wouldn't be a Captain if I could be outmatched by a graduate..." Kurisu then chuckled as he watched Nadameru activate her Shikai, it seemed to have an interesting form...Nadameru then rushed towards Kurisu. Kurisu then picked up on the sound of something whistling, that was when what appeared to be a whip of water came into view, Kurisu then noted Nadameru using her Shikai to perform an attack from above...clearly trying to hit him two places at once. Kurisu narrowed his eyes before they widened with both the attacks cutting through him yet his appearance then faded leaving behind only his Haori as Kurisu then pointed his Zanpakuto at the back of Nadameru's head "I'd say you got some skill...but you can either choose to end this here...or continue with the risk that I no longer stick to simple tricks and skills...the choice is yours"
