Zaeden accepted the muffin on the napkin and slid it closer to himself by the corner of the cloth, as he began to pick of a piece and pop it in his mouth Angie came over again leaning over the costumer side of the counter. "Awe, Zaeden, why didn't you get me a muffin?" Her face sat in a fake pout. He just blinked at her confused as to why he would have.
"You don't need food." He said blatantly. Angie pretended to be hurt by his words.
"Oh how cruel you are!" She smiled and winked at him sneakily. "So are you ready for day number two?" She asked probing into his inner thoughts. He shrugged as he popped another piece of muffin into his mouth. The job wasn't hard so it wasn't as though he had to prepare physically for it, but interacting with flirty drunk did exhaust his patience. SHe laughed. "SO mysterious!" She glanced over to Loki eating half the muffin too. "Loki, darling, how'd you get Zaeden to buy you a muffin! You must tell me your secrets!" She asked cheerfully, joking more than serious.
Zaeden ignored her playfulness and turned to a costumer who was approaching the bar for a simple beer. He had rushed over to get the customer because of what he had seen the other night, Loki over worked himself even though he did a well enough job. He wanted to let the other finish eating before he had to deal with people.
As he grabbed the plain beer to pour in a cup he wondered why he was paying so much attention to one human when he obviously didn't care about any of the others. it was quite an anomaly to him, but he'd choose to ignore it for now. "Here, sir." The man said a simple thanks before walking away sipping his beer going back to his apparent date.
Angie was still leaned on the counter teasing Loki with her little questions and poking fun at Zaeden.
