An unknown person hidden under armor walked at a brisk pace up to Jae and whispered something. "Tell them to hold fire. Take a translator and see what they want. Then report back." The figure nodded and hurried off.

Alice's eyes narrowed in suspicion. Who....was that? She hadn't been a leader for nothing. She knew when something was up, and that bothered her to no end. Danger danced on the edge of her senses, making her tense and uneasy.

Jae turned and sat back down at her original table, reading through the papers on her clipboard. She pulled a few out and put them in the bottom of the stack.
