@Cerulean - I thought Graham was Harry and Adam was Ron in that little triangle...

@Seeking Calliope Oh I see. We can go with that. =D

I read everyone's ideas and composed an accepted list. If your idea is included in the list, it will be implemented in the RP.

| Definition(s) |

Event-oriented scenarios: Depending on the Arc, it may include everyone or a selected few to post. If you're not part of the scenario, you don't have to post. This appeals to members who need to leave for awhile or become too busy to post. The owner of the idea is in charge of dictating the final decision. When it comes to an event-oriented Arc, I'll include a list of members who need to post.

Fun Plot Twists:

The ideas below are fun mini-arcs designed for entertainment, character development, and bonding,

I. X-Men band: Some of the characters form a band willingly or forced to. More than one band can be formed.
↳ Owner of Idea: @Cerulean
↳ Event Oriented?: No.

Mini-Arcs:

The ideas below are more serious topics involving character development and bonding. Some some ideas are tied with future events surrounding the main Arc,

I. Mysterious Illness: A mutant illness breaks out in the school, resulting the loss of mutant abilities, followed by rapid deterioration of health.
↳ Owner of Idea: @Mika
↳ Event Oriented?: No.

II. Rescue Mission: Students have to rescue the X-Men from something/or someone.
↳ Owner of Idea: @Seeking Calliope.
↳ Event Oriented?: No. (Important character development and teamwork is likely to happen.)

III. Character History: Everyone is open to implement an event involving their character's past. For instance, Yun's uncle interfered with her life again, resulting an attack at the school.
↳ Owner of Idea: @KthuluKhild
↳ Event Oriented?: It depends on the scenario. May or may not be event-oriented.

Main Plot:

The main plot involves the introduction of two organizations. I'm still working on details, so there isn't much to reveal,

I. Secret Government Organization: The leader of the organization adapted a lot of Trask's ideals, including the eradication of mutant kind. However, there will be no Sentinel-like program. The organization's main goal is curing the world from the X-gene.
↳ Owner of Idea: Me. However, @KthuluKhild mentioned it as well.
↳ Event Oriented?: It depends on the scenario. May or may not be event-oriented.

II. Pro-Mutant Organization: Unlike Magneto, the new pro-mutant organization doesn't use blatant violence to spread the word. The organization is more cunning, organized, and manipulative. Unbeknownst to everyone, the most unlikely people are part of the organization. However, the group's main goal is dominating mankind.
↳ Owner of Idea: Me.
↳ Event-Oriented?: It depends on the scenario. May or may not be event-oriented.

Announcement:

✖ Which idea from the list should we start with when I'm ready to post the IC thread?

I love the big plot ideas! I think I'd like to start off with the main arcs first. Perhaps we leave the subplots and other twists for later whenever they feel appropriate. Or were you asking which of the main plots we'd like to begin with? I think both would work like parallel plots; we can introduce them at roughly the same time, and follow them simultaneously - was this your intention?

I'm sorry if that wasn't a whole lot of help. Basically, I'm down for something that has a bit of action to start. :)

@Mika: Nope. I intend to start with the pro-mutant organization first when it comes to the main plot. The anti-mutant organization will be mentioned, but not explained in depth until later. What I'm trying to ask is if we should start with one of the mini-arcs or dive right into the main arc. I'm not sure what order would be appropriate since I want to implement every idea in the RP at some point.

Ah-ha! Gotcha. My vote is to begin first with the main plot only, then add in the mini-arcs where appropriate. The mutant illness subplot would fit in nicely with the secret government organization storyline, for example. But I'm not picky about how we start, so I'll happily go along with the majority on this.

Pretty much my feelings exactly.

@Nico - Who talks behind Wiess' back?

Due to other commitments, I won't be able to finish the preparations until tomorrow. I'm halfway done with the introduction post for the IC thread. I'm including important information about the two organizations. Additionally, I'm explaining what we'll start with for the First Arc. I really wanted to have it posted by this weekend, but my hopes died. However, I'm certain I'll have it complete by tomorrow!

The IC thread is officially up! I'll implement more information pertaining to Umbrella Corp. & Infinitum later. Unfortunately, I got a lot on my plate, so I couldn't really sit down and focus. A research paper in one of my classes is due Friday, so I want to focus more on RL. Additionally, I got other commitments to take care of. Everyone can start posting! Don't be surprised if I include other random details after I'm ready to add more information to the IC thread.

Woo hoo! I am pumped! And no worries about personal obligations, Kets - real life is more important. I myself am not really a daily poster (though I check in every day). Hopefully my pace won't be too slow - I aim for at least every other day.

As long as it's not once a week or every two weeks, it should be fine. I don't expect daily, but I don't want to wait a week or two for a reply, especially if my characters interacted with a specific member. I understand the importance of RL, but peeps need to notify me first. (Which is stated in the rules, ha.)

Are we using a header? I'm being lazy so I haven't looked at the rules, but I remember reading something and I think it was for this game.

Do you mean a title containing the name of your character and junk? One of the details I'm adding to the IC thread is advising a location header. Peeps would be required to state the specific location of their character. (Ex. Location: In the kitchens of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.) This helps avoid confusion in case some peeps are at one location and other peeps are somewhere different.

Yes, a header with the character name, location, and so forth. Character name would help avoid confusion with those players who are playing two characters.

With the story, we're starting with the sickness? Can you tell us how many of the students have gotten sick? How widespread the disease is? Have any of the teachers/X-Men been infected? What precautions are being made to prevent the entire school from being infected? Who is the primary medical person, Hank McCoy, Moira, Warren, Elixir, someone else?

How much of the scene can we add/manipulate? Can I make a post with Becca exiting the underground med bay after talking to Hank, or would that ruin something you have planned?

@Seeking Calliope:

I agree. I'll probably add the full header bit when I'm ready to edit information. Feel free to include it.

Yes. The sickness is the first attack against the school made by Umbrella Corp. Reasons for attacking the school will be revealed later. Since the illness lasted a month, I think about a quarter of the student population should be sick. Keep in mind that there's a lot of NPC roles to fill the student community. (By 2023, there would be a large population, not a measly 11.) I'm still working out the details how the illness spread to the mansion, but the main source is within a drug. (I decided to post the IC thread since I promised I would. If I didn't have a large work load this week, I would have more time to flesh out more details.) Right now, I think the disease should start spreading to the teachers - starting with Jean. I think I'll go with Hank as the head medical specialist. Honestly, I haven't thought of precautions yet since I need to add more details to the IC thread Intro. Do you have any suggestions?

You're free to construct any scene you want as long as it doesn't interfere with Umbrella Corp. or the "anonymous tip". I don't have a strict list for NPCs, so everyone is allowed to manipulate them for a certain scene.

The type of precautions would depend on the vector, and how the disease spreads. If Hank doesn't know those things yet, then the infected would be in heavy quarantine and Hank would likely be using a hazmat suit to treat the infected.

Aw man its too late to post now. :/ I should of came earlier.

So this has gone eerily quiet. What's everyone up to? I know Ketsu is writing a paper and trying to keep his head above water, so to speak. What about the rest of you?

Staff things, Job things, friends have trouble things. Been rather busy. Sorry! I will try to post this weekend.
