Name: Tiffany Hardy
Age: 19
Sex: Female
Enrolled: Student
Relationship status: Single/Girls Only
Appearance: Tiffany is an athletic young woman with tanned freckled skin and a toned physique. She has long curly red hair and she wears glasses for cosmetic purposes only. Her fashion ranges from athletic to cozy and rarely does she wear dresses or skirts. Her footwear usually consists of tennis shoes but she does have one trusty pair of black flats for formal wear. Depending on her mood, Tiffany either walks with a bounce in her step or she trudges and slouches everywhere.
Personality: Tiffany is a boisterous and bold young woman who prefers to 'talk' with her fists rather than her words. She's impulsive, curious and hates sitting idle. She can be very crude and rarely displays common manners (i.e wiping her mouth on her sleeve, cursing/using vulgar terms, neglecting to say 'excuse me'). This stems from being unsupervised for most of her life. She also has personal space issues and will often hug/touch someone with or without their consent. Aside from these negative traits, Tiffany is also loyal to a fault and honest (often painfully so). She prioritizes friendship and will often go to extreme lengths to support her friends unless what they're doing is fundamentally and morally wrong.
Power: Flash Step - The ability to move in short bursts faster than the human eye can track. When this ability is developed enough, the user can teleport short distances (ex: one side of the room to the other). When using flash step, an afterimage is often created, providing the user with a very brief decoy. If enough momentum is provided, the user can briefly defy gravity by moving through the air or running along walls.
Visual Example
Strengths:
She has a photographic memory
She only knows how to make like four casseroles but they're good casseroles
She loves sports and is awesome at many
High amount of stamina
Iron Stomach
Weaknesses:
She cannot use her power in water, mud or anything that slows movement
Walls are her worst enemy
Math, science, art...Pretty much any subject that isn't PE, is her weakness
Possibly dyslexic (her formal schooling wasn't great though, so it's hard to tell)
Her handwriting is horrendous
Bio:Tiffany was the child that her parents had, to save their marriage but soon realized that nothing, not even a human life, could save their train wreck of a union. She lived with her parents for about two years before they divorced and she was placed in the custody of her twenty year old sister, Kiki. Despite the vast age difference, Kiki opted to 'guide' Tiffany more than raise her. The woman was in the prime of her life and didn't need anyone to think she had a kid holding her down. Or at least, that's what she told Tiffany. In reality, Kiki was a renegade mutant who ran with a group of unsavory characters who adopted Magneto's ideology. She had joined this group during her youth, right after she manifested her powers and somewhere along the line she realized that they were more than a little unhinged but by that time, she was in too deep. So she kept her little sister at bay and adopted a 'lax' parenting method in order to keep her safe.
Kiki's apparent neglect of Tiffany led to the girl doing poorly in school and often hanging with the wrong crowd. The girl was held back quite a few times until she just stopped attending school period and spent most of her time doing as she pleased. One of those things being challenging the neighborhood kids to various feats of athletic prowess. It was during one of these feats that Tiffany's power manifested. She and a group of kids were playing in the street when a car lost control and began skidding towards them. Most of the kids including Tiffany got out of the way but one kid (they called him Chunk, because well--he was kind of fat) was a bit too slow. Just as the car was about to blow him away, Tiffany surged forward and suddenly she and Chunk were on the other side of the street, unharmed. Although Chunk was grateful to Tiffany for saving him, the other kids and the driver were horrified to discover a mutant among them. Fortunately, Kiki was nearby and used her sleep manipulating powers to subdue the children and the driver and whisk her sister to safety.
Kiki was both thrilled and frightened that Tiffany's powers had manifested. On one hand, she no longer had to hide her true self from her little sister but on the other hand, her having powers put her at great risk. In an effort to keep her sister from being either killed or inducted into the renegade group, she arranged for Tiffany to be taken to the X-Men institute in New York, nearly 3,000 miles from their Californian home. Before she sent her away, Kiki made Tiffany promise to 'forget' her. "You're an only child, raised by dysfunctional parents who kicked you out after discovering your powers."
It's been a year since then and Tiffany has changed quite a bit. Unlike her sister, she believes wholeheartedly in a peaceful approach to equality and aspires to be a hero that mutants and normies alike, look up to.
Anything else: Tiffany's sister Kiki's power is sleep manipulation and she is strong enough to subdue whole crowds. Kiki is a villain who works with a renegade group and uses the name Morpheus.
Tiffany and Kiki's parents are normies, who hate each other and are unaware of the mutant status of their children. The two are incredibly selfish (i.e when they ditched their kid with their other kid).
