Every night I deal with knowing that I should be tired, but I'm not xD My brain goes a million miles a minute and it wont shut off. It doesn't matter how physically tired I am, my brain doesn't think its time to sleep until the sun has completely risen and the birds are singing their hearts out. It takes me about an hour to two hours to fall asleep after I lay down, as long as the sun's up. If its still dark out, I can lay there for as long as I want, and nothing's gonna happen in the sleep department. I end up getting so mentally restless that I either just don't fall asleep, or I have to get up and pace around for awhile.
The only thing that I've found that helps me at all is melatonin, but I build up a tolerance to it quickly and it doesn't work for long. I have to go a month or so without it for it to start working again after that happens. e__e
