  • At the mention of Sora, Mileena released an annoyed growl. Her fiery eyes quickly jumped to the spiky-haired kid, and grunted. She was so blinded by her intolerance for him that she didn't immediately notice Geralt coming up on the opposite side of the Lieutenant. The sight of him, and the sound of his voice nearly made her gasp. And...was he eyeing her? It was a welcome gesture, but an off-putting one nonetheless. If she were a schoolgirl she may have just swooned right then and there. Instead, her raspy voice giggled, and her strides gained a sort of swagger. "Hm, it most certainly does." she answered. "I'll gladly tolerate Sora's naivete if Geralt will be joining us." Mileena then looked from Bird to the Witcher with smiling eyes. Even though her veil masked it, it still quite clear she wore a grin underneath.
  • The pink hedgehog and free-thinking operating system were deep in conversation with one another, and were oblivious to the others since Sha'lit mentioned their next plan of action. As soon as the weird lion-man thing came up next to them, however, Amy's interest was piqued once again. She looked at the thing quizzically, and for an extended period of time. It certainly looked nothing like any mobian she'd ever seen...Nicole soon broke the silence.

    "Erm...Amy? Amy Rose?"

    No reply.

    "Amy!"

    Snapped out of her trance, she shook her head wildly and looked down at Nicole for a second.

    "What...is that...?" Amy questioned, quickly trailing off and shaking her head again.

    "Okay-whatever-so, we're going northwest to a place called Musubi? Sounds good to me. What do you think Nicole?"

    Before Nicole could answer, Amy spoke again, leaving Nicole unamused.

    "Alright then, we're off!" Amy turned and began where she thought northwest was.

    "You're facing southeast, Amy." Niciole intervened. Amy stopped dead in her tracks and grunted, doing a full 180 turn around and running off northwest.

    A result of the damage of the dimensional barriers around the world, Chralmede's dimensional atmosphere has gone unstable. Just as there are white holes of sorts bringing people on all sides into the world from other dimensions at every occurence, so too are there wormholes, albeit far rarer a phenomena, that would pull things out of Chralmede. They seem to appear at random - a whizzing sound and slight electrical interference signalling their appearance - to suck in whatever is in front of it, often conveniantly appearing next to people, as if sentient and aware of their existence.

    Those who are sucked in do not return to their own universes from this wormhole, nor do they enter any other universe. Rather, the wormhole is connected to a small empty pocket universe between the dimensions. The pockets are numerous, as no one person who gets sucked in is able to come into contact with anyone else who gets sucked in. There has been a history of people throughout this war that were reported to disappear seemingly without rhyme or reason, regardless of their alignment or the power they possess. (Meaning anyone, be it Resistance, Empire, Neutral, Star, or even Covenant, can be sucked into this.)
    That being said, however, it is far from lethal. While there are some very rare reports of those who've entered being permanently MIA, a majority of those who went missing have returned. According to them, they were sucked into an small empty pitch black space, to which the only things that existed were them and a portal showing where they last left. Some reported that they weren't knocked out by the impact, while others reported to have possibly been out for a little while within that space. However, regardless of when they awaken, or whether or not they arrive without becoming unconscious, they all reported one thing in common: They saw the way back immediately after they got up, and went into it without hesitation in order to go back.

    Another thing that all victims of this phenomena had in common is the temporal dysfunction that they've experienced during their short time there. These small pocket universes exist in a time frame that is inconsistently slower than Chralmede's own. The seconds they had in that world before they escaped would be minutes, or even hours that passed in Chralmede.
    Because of this, these pocket universes have had various nicknames like 'penalty box', 'holding cell' or just plain 'dimensional jail', and are often seen as a common "natural" inconveniance that all sides must often work around.

    With no detectable method to the warning of their coming as of yet, the people of Chralmede can only prepare for whenever it happens.

    ...Like this very moment, as the Holding cells begin opening once again.

    (To those who have entered this box, (The owners of the Bold print characters on the character list) To get back in the game, all you must do is get out via the door in front of your characters. However, know that time may have passed and you will exit from the same spot that you left from. (In the case of the Normandy or other vehicles, you'll land in the spot you were in while you were riding the vehicles.))

  • Resistance Base

    (Uhh, Peanut, Geralt was with Kira and Sora, last I checked.)

    "Right, then let's get moving" Bird said to her. Without waiting for a response he walked off towards the Parking lot area. He then heard a whizzing sound, as if hearing a malfunctioning machine's clicking, and noticed some of the lights fading in and out.

    "Oh come on, not now..." Bird said as he ran towards everyone.

    ----------

    Nodding his head, Sora jumped into the backseat of the car, and put on his seatbelt as Kira requested. He looked out towards the door waiting for the others to come in and drive towards Havensville. However, he then noticed the whizzing sound and the lights as Bird did, and as he looked towards Geralt and Kira, he noticed the wormhole appearing behind the two. From where he was, it looked strange, as if the area around the two began to ripple like the surface of water. If Kira and Geralt were to look behind them, they would see some kind of hole in the wall, which was the source at the center of its rippling, much like a tiny black hole. Within an instant, and a flash of light, Geralt was the only one of the two who disappeared.

    "Not again...We don't need this right now." Sora said, sighing as he did.

  • Sonneset Palace

    The covenant would all hear the same sounds as the lights around them faded in and out. Without warning, or even a chance to get a word in, the wormhole appeared behind Sauron, and sucked him up in the same matter as Geralt, disappearing the instant it did.

    "...He will return in due time. But now that he is gone, I suppose this is a good time to end this meeting." Hikawa states.

  • Havensville

    "Wahh, Hey wait a second, wait for us!" Teddie said as he noticed Amy running off with Nicole. Sha'lit looked towards Gate who pledged her loyalty to Sha'lit in the name of 'the gate'. While Sha'lit has no clue what she refers to, it's possible that this woman refers to a detail of her memory leaking out of her amnesiac state in order to keep her personality intact. Details so small are commonly left unchecked for this very purpose by Hymn after all. Said small memories are small enough to not be completely remembered, but good enough to keep them from becoming blank slates. With this in mind, the goddess smiled.

    "I am counting on you...All of you." She said, first to Gate than to everyone else. She then noticed the sound that rings familiar to her, the sound of a wormhole opening up.

    "Oh no, not now..." She said. Immediately afterwards, four wormholes appeared beside the Stars, one of them taking claim of the cat that was with Gate and the other lady, one of them took away Sable Stormsent, one of them sucked in R2-D2, (Sorry, I just cannot control that particular character.) and one of them took claim of the Resistance member Marth.

    "What in the world!?" Teddie asked as he witnessed two of his new allies getting sucked into the wormholes.

    "Do not be alarmed, they are not in danger. It seems Chralmede is currently undergoing a hole storm again. ...I'll explain on the way to Musubi, but the places they are sent to are generally harmless, we can only hope they'll come back safely." Sha'lit said to them, noticing Amy immediately running off northwest without the rest of them.

    "Amy, wait! It's dangerous to go alone out there!" She yelled out towards the hedgehog, hoping it'll get to her ears. She then looked at everyone.

    "We should go too though. This place will soon be the epicenter of a battle." Sha'lit said to the rest of them. She then turned to Bancholeomon and immediately made a bow to him.

    "I'm terribly sorry for having to leave out of the blue like this. ...If you want, you can come along with us if you want. The resistance is coming here soon, and they will most likely attack you if they spot you here. So it's probably safer this way." She said to lion humanoid.

  • Sunset Mountainside

    As Daniel mentioned the TARDIS', the Two Doctors watched as they saw electric sparks and heard the sounds their machines were making.

    "Oh, hey, hey...what's wrong with you?" Eleventh softly said to his Tardis in particular. The tenth pointed the Sonic Screwdriver at his Tardis, and looked at it afterwards.

    "...Ah, ...Right. These are three temporal versions of the same TARDIS, one TARDIS from different times in almost the exact same place. They're probably adapting and merging together...again." The Tenth said. He recalled the last time this happened with his TARDIS being merged with his 5th incarnation's. Luckily it wasn't in the middle of the Time Vortex so, hopefully it won't cause the same cataclymic results.

    "Then...I guess we will have to walk it as Sonny says." 11th calmly said.

    "To this Havensville place?" 10th asked.

    "Most likely." 11th replied. He then thought about it and turned to the girl.

    "Actually, you said that angel was your...apprentice. Is there any way to get him to help out?" He asked.

  • Lord Wolf's words stuck in her head: [BCOLOR=#000000]"I think your father would be proud."[/BCOLOR], she started to think of this. Would he? Or would he be disgusted? These words started to bother her. It's hard for her to tell what her father wanted from her. But she did her best all the time. But could she face him? If he was alive, that is. Maybe, or maybe not. What if she is not up to par with his expectations? What if she never was? What if he only stopped visiting her out of sheer disappointment? No, no, no, that could not be true. Could it? She does not know. Andrea looked to the side, towards the doors and saw her father's face. Her eyes widened, her skin went pale. He was staring right at her with his cold, blue eyes. There was hardly a difference between the glass eye and the real eye - both were looking equally dead. It's as if the grim reaper itself would be staring at her. She shivered as her heart rate sharply rose, she felt tinnitus in her ears. She slowly looked away back on to Lord Wolf, a second later checking the same spot with the edge of her eye, which failed to see her father anymore. She looked at the same spot again, and she saw nothing. Her mind is playing tricks on her again. She shook her head as she took in the information Lord Wolf have told her. After quietly listening to all what he had to say, she started to think the things of the present - this proposal for alliance. She did see that Lord Wolf was impressed with her city, but she was not entirely sure why he wants to form an alliance so badly, with hardly any interaction between their two cities over this entire time. Granted, early bird is the bird that is never hungry, but it still seemed to her a little hasty. The faction war that Vextra had was pretty much the same deal, but Vextra was in dire need of organized support and any thinking person would agree that he could choose to either comply or perish, but this is slightly different. From what she gathers about all this, it seems that Wolf is already worried about his city getting involved in an armed confrontation, which can mean either of the two things. Either he has already an offensive in mind which would also bog down her city in all this, one way or the other, or he is anticipating an attack from someone, which means he already made enemies. Big enemies. The resistance is of trivial importance right now. At least in her city, she, or more precisely Vextra has already stamped out of commission any resistance-inclined components. It may be, that he suspects a resistance cell in his city. There is also a probability, that this is true in either one, two or all of the above option. Bottom line is, war of one or other kind will happen. If resistance is to win, then other cities are to follow in a domino effect, meaning that after New Sargaso, Nova Schelka may follow. In this sense the most prudent bottom line would be to support him and not make him the weak link in the chain. But what about Wolf's motives either? Now he speaks alliance, but he, just like Vextra can one day dispose of her out of equation and rule both of the cities on their own. Even if without Andrea's administrative genius. Most likely at the time when there will appear people who understand her work, and can do it as well... Naturally for a cheaper fee and other concessions. On the other hand, if Vextra is to turn on her, she would be having Lord Wolf as a contingency plan, and vice versa. Two contingency plans for a price of one is not a bad deal. After these considerations, she started to speak about the alliance:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Well, Lord Wolf, since we are to discuss the meat of the thing... I think, that I have more commentary than questions, really. Trade routes for instance. Those I suspect are to be executed through water ways. An idea, which I don't entirely like - I don't trust that ocean, and whatever is in there. In the interest of safety and ensured supplies, the ships should be prepared in both the terms of personnel and on-board systems, that could fend off any attackers - be it pirates, resistance fighters, or anyone who does not feel entirely warm about us. Industry may be the heart, but logistics are the blood vessels of any nation. On my end I will ensure that all and any cargo ships that my city is to build are to meet the following standards: they are to have trained counter-boarding personnel, Close-In Weapons Systems, low level radars, wide aspect sonars, reinforced bulkheads and anti-torpedo belts. This may sound a bit excessive for a cargo ship, but I'd rather have less cargo space, and them afloat, that plenty of cargo space, and at the bottom of the ocean. At this moment I don't have any cargo ships that could classify as even seaworthy, but any important deliveries could be done by using the recently built escort destroyers. Or as I prefer to call them - naval interceptors. Aircraft could do the more ordinary deliveries that do not weigh a lot. We have some cargo aircraft that is in working order. They were used for getting people into the island, and prior to that the aircrafts served as airborne supply delivery platforms while we were weeding out the last of the stragglers from the countryside of the island, so the pilots are adequate to say the least. As for the combined forces, I am not so keen on pushing my military into any confrontation other than ensuring the common civic order, as they are still not trained up to par, and anyone other than the air force and the navy is a logistical mess so far. So, I am not so much into pushing them anywhere until they are sorted out. I should, however mention that I did allow for a military contractor agency to be established. In other words there is a company that deals in supplementing my military's and my allies' military's needs with mercenary soldiers. They are well-trained and quite adaptable, so I could use them as a stopgap measure. They already have it reserved for them as counter-boarding personnel. As for 'times of need', I will reserve some cargo aircrafts for emergency events that could be standing by, and would deliver military supplies and airborne combat elements, ranging from personnel to light vehicles. So how about you Lord Wolf? Anything specific on your mind?"[/BCOLOR]

  • Havensville:

    Nikki mutely observed the scene and did not get herself involved with any more conversations. Before she decided to follow, she observed how people started to vanish in the wormholes. She wondered for a moment if it is how she got here, or is it a different phenomenon and where this may possibly lead to. But before she could ponder on this any longer, she shook her currently Teddy-like head and started to once again unnaturally stride, following Amy. The quicker she is somewhere safe, the quicker she is going to have the time to stop and think about all these events. At this point she did not care whether or not her movement is to raise any suspicions, Sha'lit is her master, and so are they.

  • Barren Fields:

    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Hold on, hun."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"WHAT NOW? You forgot to bat on some makeup, so you are not to frighten him?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"No, I no longer feel that person's presence."[/BCOLOR]
    Aerophobia straightened up, and sighed:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Really? But I do wonder if the impact killed it in that case, though. Or did some savages found him and ate him for breakfast."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"No idea, hun. It's possible... Say, Aero... But why were you up to killing me, and not say... interrogating me?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Actually that only occurred to me later. I was too damn curious about the EM radiation, that you emitted. Speaking of occurrences only now I noticed, that only your limbs are cybernetic, but how are they powered? I don't sense a reactor with you"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Well..."[/BCOLOR] Artemis rolled up her sleeves, and patted on her cyber arm: [BCOLOR=#000000]"Each limb has their own power unit, along with some passive energy collection equipment."[/BCOLOR] then she opened a port on her cybernetic arm:[BCOLOR=#000000] "See, hun?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"May I look at it? Don't worry, I won't touch it. Not so keen on getting a dumpshock."[/BCOLOR] Aero observed for a few moments: [BCOLOR=#000000]"Very interesting... If anything, your power supply means does it both cheaper, lighter and more efficiently, compared to mine - it's not too exciting to carry dual nuclear reactors, you know."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"So would you exchange them for the technology that my prosthetics use?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Maybe to extent, but the reactor does me more good than these little things ever would - the reactor powers my jet pack and the plasma rifle."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Plasma rifle? That big thing is a plasma rifle? No wonder you are fond of hauling them reactors. And that jet pack too."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Yes, it is a plasma rifle. Perfect for obliterating opposition, welding and soldering. Still though, my motor functions could be done more efficiently with something like that. I will tinker on that idea. On another important, related topic - your makeup looks awful, who did this for you?"[/BCOLOR]
    Artemis grunted:[BCOLOR=#000000] "At least you don't talk about my hair."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Seriously though, I find them interesting. I can sense high cobalt content in your hair, as well as the rest of your body. Cobalt gives the blue to your hair. So, you are a natural bluehair, which is nothing short of unusual."[/BCOLOR]
    Artemis smiled and hugged Aerophobia tightly, excited to hear, that someone actually understands why her hair is blue:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Eeee! You're the first person to realize these are my natural hair! Or at least I think that you are... But in either case, you just made my day, hun!"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Uh... Glad to be of service..."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Hm..."[/BCOLOR] Artemis suddenly turned around: [BCOLOR=#000000]"Aero, I feel another-one of my people. In another direction entirely... Let's move before it gets killed or something."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Copy that, you hold on tight, we're about to jet."[/BCOLOR] Aerophobia said, while Artemis clutched him as tight as possible. Then Aero engaged his engines and took off for low level, sub-sonic flight to a new direction.

Raven turned her head and noticed two already began to head off. She was quiet listing to Sha'lit hearing the words this woman had to say. Raven looked to those who so far had been quiet and before she could move she witnessed all of them being sucked into a wormhole. She was frozen to the spot as if remembering seeing such a whole before but how she wasn't sure perhaps the life she couldn't remember more than pieces of. Yet again Sha'lit's voice brought her to once more. Her eyes went from looking a little shocked to once more clam as if nothing happened. Nodding she began to follow when the others started to move.

  • The SSV Normandy

    Hayabusa nodded in reply to Shepard. He, too, hoped him scouting ahead was not necessary. But they were not far from Musubi, a confirmed enemy stronghold. He had heard reports the ruler of said city was largely disinterested in the plans of the capital and the Covenant ruling it, but he bet his response to a Resistance force so near his stronghold would be a violent one. Hayabusa sighed deeply as he entered the cargo bay, ready for both jumping out and arrival.

  • Sonneset Palace

    The look on Aleister's face considerably darkened as Kerrigan spoke. This despicable tramp..., Aleister thought. She needed the rebel forces alive and supplying her with experiments. Snatching forces from her fellow Covenant members or the rest of the Empire would not go unnoticed, nor unpunished. But the Resistance? It was perfect for her needs. Not large enough to be a threat but still large enough for her needs, easily culled if they became a problem.

    "Better we have a threat we know rather than we don't, no? It is a matter of months before I've converted that rebel force into Dolls. And they'll keep up the facade of a Resistance so a new one will never be born. Then there's nothing to oppose us. Must we truly go for the violent response when we can do this without losing a single one of our own?"

    She almost took a step back as Sauron suddenly disappeared in a whirl of blue.

    "In due time? I am worried, personally. Who will manage those horrific savages of his while he is gone?"

  • Sunset Mountainside

    "That will actually be quite bothersome..." Craïs spoke up as she heard the 10th's suggestion. "With my method of travel, I could have arrived to Havensville in approximately five to six hours. With you three tagging along, we could take days. The world ain't so small, you know?" By then, Daniel had approached the three blue boxes and they responded with a flurry of sparks and a loud, whirring noise. Craïs blinked, how had she noticed that?

    Advancing one of these TARDISes, the 11th Doctor asked her about Cronic. "Maybe, I don't know. We haven't spoken to one another in a long time and he's a bit of a loner nowadays, or so I've understood." She muttered, distracted.

    Running a hand down one of the TARDISes' doors, Craïs smiled brightly, eyes gleaming. "So you are alive! You were just so quiet, you poor thing. Are you shy?" She asked excitedly, looking up the big blue box. "I almost mistook your voice for Mother's. You sound were similar."

    MetallifeKuwagamon's eyes neither narrowed or widened at Marina's declaration. Their apparent calm, however, betrayed a more sinister mix of chagrin and joy as they followed the robot girl's every move, up until the last bent of her fingers. Ooh, digits. He wished he had some of those, but that was neither here nor somewhere else. Seeing as Marina was done deciding it was action hero time for her, the Digital General himself chose to respond in kind. Levitating backwards, he then rose higher into the air, well away from the reach of Marina's fists as he saw it.

    Meanwhile, the once quietening atmosphere around them was filled with a low hum that afterwards grew ever-increasingly louder. After these sparse moments of pause, MetallifeKuwagamon put a few fingers around the edge of his face stub in a thinker's fashion.

    "...What a bother." he simply remarked. "Oh well, I figured you were a tad slower on the uptake... Now, just know I didn't exactly come out specially to meet you. I would have had better-suited... assistants tagging along to help me, otherwise." he told Marina. In the skies around the two, multiple shadows slowly emerged on the underside of the lower cloud layer. Quickly enough, the brownness of the dust-filled sky fell apart and gave way to the bright colors painting the large, imposing figures of eight heavily-armed CannonBeemons.

    latest

    "...What, you actually thought you'd be fighting me first? When does that ever happen?" he almost laughed again, arching his back before another quick shudder rang through his metal frame. MetallifeKuwagamon's eyes finally leave Marina's figure for once, as he looked to the eight descending CannonBeemon. In tandem with the first unit, their jets releasing a constant thrust as they slowly lowered themselves into place. The nine formed a rough circle that surrounded Marina. "What I'm about to do next might be a bit savage... Oh, they'll be below a... sophisticated person such as yourself, definitely..." he told the robot girl, throwing a mocking nod in the way of her brutish stance.

    After a few moments, without the need for a voiced command, the CannonBeemons' jets roared in full force. One by one, they lunged down and towards Marina at high speeds, seeking to smash the brunt of their massive, armored bodies against her smaller figure. However, they were more calculated than at first glance. Each one's trajectories angled slightly in a different direction than the rest, lest they run into one another. Their general's eyes fell back onto the robot girl, eager to see how she moves next.

    "...But I do hope you'll bear with me. After all... hmm...?" MetallifeKuwagamon paused and peered to the side, detecting faint signs of the occasional gravitational anomalies occurring at various distances all over. Like the rest, he decided to brush the matter aside for now, in favor of the immediate business at hand. Indeed, there were many, but one bird in hand is as good as any two in the bush. "As I was saying... We're quite a distance from home base, and I wouldn't want you to grow restless while on the way back..."

MetallifeKuwagamon wasn't at all happy with Marnia's threat and like what is expected out of villains like him, he levitated back out of Marina's punching range. The tension was thick between the two and Marina was eager to teach this creepy bug bot a lesson, but the very familiar humming of rocket propulsion divide Marina's attention. It was unfortunately a very familiar sound to Marina as it sounded like the bee robot she had just tussled with. Sure enough, several of the bee bots descended from the clouds and surrounded them. "Of course. You have to send your bees to fight for you coward. " Her head and eyes darted around above her trying to keep an eye on all nine of the bee robots as MetallifeKuwagamon started laughing and saying something about sophistication. She really didn't bother to pay attention really cause after all. Bee Robots.

In an instant, the bee robots charged at Marina one after another in a coordinated pattern. The first three charged in a V formation straight for her. "Waah!" Marina yelled jumping to the ground. The drones missed Marina by inches as the formation pulled up to avoid being one with the earth and presumably to try again. Drones 4, 5 and 6 came from Marina sides in a left, right, left pattern hoping to tackle Marina that way. Hoping up quickly to a sprinting start, Marina used her thruster to get out of the way of the drone stampied "1...2....3yaaaa! " She gasped as each dodge became a closer and closer call. She would be impressed with their coordination if she wasn't their target. "Alright...that was 6 but where ar-" Marina cut herself off as she turned around to find drone number 7 was rocketing right behind her. On reflex, she put her hands put her hands up to catch the CannonBeemon as it ran straight into her cannon first.

The CannonBeemon's momentum pushed Marina back as her feet left a trail on the ground, but soon the drone was caught in her grip and try as it might, the bee bot couldn't get itself free no matter how much force its thrusters put out.. "Hah! If you had a mind of your own I bet you would be really confused about this right now. Now where are the rest of your friends at?." Drones 8 and 9 charged in from above as to divebomb Marina, but with their thrusters and massive frames, they were hardly as stealthy as bird of prey. Marina took her captive CannonBeemon and swung him around like a she was hammer throwing and with one loud "Yah!",she threw her CannonBeemon up into the sky towards the dive bombing bees. Sadly for them, no evasive maneuvers could help 8 and 9 and 7 crashed into the them with enough force to cause a giant explosion in the air. "Booya! Alright who wants to test their luck next!" She said looking at the scrambling bee bots.

    Aerophobia landed a few moments after they have approached the forest. Artemis looked at him, after she had a look-around:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"No-one's present here, hun. You sure your radar works fine?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Fairly certain, and it's not the radar, I'm using, it would be almost impossible to pick up anything from the ground units, while flying this low with the radar. I'm using EM radiation passive sensors."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Okay, but that still does not explain why you stopped here of all places."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Because there is too much of EM radiation over here."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"I thought you said only in cities it would not work."[/BCOLOR]

    [BCOLOR=#000000]"And what your spider senses are telling you?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"It's more of a hunch of intuition, really... I know that someone must be here, but that is it. Think you could scout the area?"[/BCOLOR]

Not much hydrogen is left in the reservoir, it would need some time before a recharge. Flying subsonic is not exactly economy mode, you know. Just not with my configuration."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Then..."[/BCOLOR] Artemis looked at the ground and noticed Marina's footprints: [BCOLOR=#000000]"I don't think you will need to fly, look."[/BCOLOR]
    Aerophobia had a look at them and asked:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Just which direction is this supposed to lead to?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Let me see it."[/BCOLOR] she walked over to the trail and examined it: [BCOLOR=#000000]"That way."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"They're essentially the same, either way I look at them, how do you know?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"That's one thing that you learn as an Army Stray Dog."[/BCOLOR] then she thought to herself what that really means, but she continued her point: [BCOLOR=#000000]"The cant of the ground displacement is always deeper to the direction of movement, and second, the direction on which the vegetation is bent or broken is facing away from us on that direction, also - indicative of where someone went. Some super-robot you are."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"I'm NOT a robot."[/BCOLOR] Aerophobia said with some hostility in his voice.
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Well, sorry, hun, but you did not tell me what you are."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Yeah, that's actually true. In really short explanation... My body is synthetic, but not me as an entity."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"I can feel your pain, hun."[/BCOLOR] Artemis sighed, patting him on the shoulder:[BCOLOR=#000000] "They always think that you are something different. Something disgusting. Well, if that's of any help to you, not many treat me for a human being either. They shudder at the thought, of just being in close proximity with me."[/BCOLOR] she did not remember the exact situations, but she did get the feeling of it on those aspects.
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Heh, come on, bloodhound, lead the way. I think we lost a lot of time as it is."[/BCOLOR]
    Artemis nodded and leaded them both for some time, until they heard the noises of a fight:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"I think we've found what we were looking for."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"You don't say..."[/BCOLOR] Aerophobia leaned over a small hill to see what is going on. From the looks of it, they still have not noticed them. After evaluating the situation he slid back and said:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"And I think, that I just saw what we are looking for. Listen, I will distract them, and you make sure that the two of you bug out safely. I will rejoin you two eventually. And make it snappy, got it?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Very well, just don't get carried away with it."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Granted, you don't know me, but still - Do I ever?"[/BCOLOR] then after Artemis left him on his own, Aero made a brief boost to opposite edge of the field. Took aim with his plasma rifle, set it to plasma bolt mode and fired where there were most of CannonBeemons. The sluggish, plasma bolt just about the speed of a missile headed towards them, leaving a long, black, vacuum-warped trail behind it. Aero did not even make a careful aim, all he wanted was to get their attention. After the shot he waved with his shooting hand, and shouted at that group:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Hey, scrap metal, let's see what you're really made of! You better be a worthwhile salvage!"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000][meanwhile:][/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Well, I really hope he knows what he's doing..."[/BCOLOR] Artemis muttered to herself and remained out of sight, heading towards Marina, without exposing herself over the terrain features. Just in case, she had her assault carbine ready and loaded, but wasn't very sure if it is going to be of much use. She looked at it, and sighed: [BCOLOR=#000000]"Kingdom for a fucking rocket launcher... No... Make it a flak cannon."[/BCOLOR] by the time she came here, she noticed that some CannonBeemons have been downed by Marina, but some still remain. She noticed the plasma bolt go, understanding that this is the time to get her out of here, without thinking too much, whether or not this is a good idea, she said only loud enough for Marina to hear:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Hey, let's bug out of here, while we still have the time to, he will do just fine on his own*."[/BCOLOR]
    *- she hopes so at least. Wishful thinking is closer to the truth in her opinion.

Marina Liteyears

Marina's taunts went unanswered until a large shot of plasma shot through the sky behind her and into one of enemy CannonBeemon, punching a hole right through it and left what was left of the drone to fall into the earth below. "Woah! What was that!?" Then she someone call out to her, a blue haired, very strange looking face she didn't recognize. Then again, their is a lot about this place that Marina didn't recognize, but if she and her friend weren't here to put holes in Marina, then they must be friends or at least enemies of the this MetalifeKwuagamon. The girl asked her to come along with her, but after the threat of capture Marina was not content with just running away from a bad guy like MetalifeKwuagamon. This guy had to be put down."Are you kidding!? This guy needs to be taught some respect! " Rushing over to the recently trashed CannonBeemon, Marina hoisted the the giant machine over her head. She had to take this creep down before he could hurt someone. Taking the Beemon corpse in one hand, she threw the massive body like a football (Spiral and all) right pass the other CannonBeemon and on a collision course with the Beetleborg.

There was a tense moment of silence after his rant...perhaps she was trying to take it in? Or perhaps overthinking? A woman who's as intelligent as her ought to be thinking about quite a lot of things, something WOlf can only begin to comprehend. Sure he had intelligence, everybody has some sort of skills in their brain. But she seems to hold just a bit more, although her skepticism on the alliance seems to hint she's not yet ready to jump on board, not at this speedy pace anyways. She may also not trust him fully as well. They have only met for what? Ten hours? The time-span makes this sound like he's going to lock her away somewhere.

After the bout of silence passed, she went on to discuss the finer points of the alliance, in ranting detail. When she asked for his opinion, he agreed, nodding and stating; "This seems like a high-maintenance and high-cost plan, I mean, will there be any sort of profit coming from our overseas trading if we have to spend it all on defense? I see your angle that you would rather have your ships afloat, but if they are nothing but a resource-suck, then wouldn't they be better off in the bottom of the ocean? could we, perhaps, make the seas we travel on monitored and safe, that way, we can maximize resource storage with as many cargo as we need. I am fine with using mercenaries, heck, that's all my military is anyways, a bunch of RICH, LAZY, MERCS!" He paused for a moment to recollect himself before speaking. "Sorry for my attitude, I have...government issues. Also, no, I do not intend for confrontation, but I do intend to make sure both our cities are clean of any Resistance Members, because, you know, they like to take over our precious cities and turn them into piles of ash." He laid back in his chair, and stared at the ceiling, speaking softly, "Now, is there anything you would wish to talk about, not discuss. I want us to trust each other, to be friends, like you and Vextra. You know what I mean?"

  • [BCOLOR=#000000]"I disagree."[/BCOLOR] she replied on the subject of the trade: [BCOLOR=#000000]"To set up the vessels up to the specifications is costly, sure, more precisely time consuming on my end, it doesn't cost me anything, really. Maintenance cost would be hardly a difference, especially if the vessels are to travel without experiencing any opposition - after all, no shots fired, no damage taken, what is there to replace or repair? Fuel consumed? All the same, unless you measure the weight of consumed fuel in proportion to amount of cargo delivered, but from what my limited knowledge knows, up-gunned cargo ships, don't add all that much to their tonnage. For actual combat and defense or interception, I have cruisers and destroyers. For me, the mercenaries are bought, with what I have already mentioned - a null currency. I don't really care if they get more drunker at the bar, or buy out property, et cetera, they earned it, might as well give them a break for a job they have done. Especially, because personally I prefer to think of any defensive measures as an insurance policy. And if the resources that are to be traded are not worth the protection, then evidently, we both have those in abundance, and we don't need them to begin with. Sure, in the whole shipping group, there could be some bulk cargo vessels, to make the whole operation more efficient, without compromising the safety, but any further details would be beyond my knowledge, and I would need to consult my naval officers. But I do agree on monitoring the seas, but yet again, my naval officers would be able to draw up a coherent plan, not me."[/BCOLOR] after she has finished elaborating her point, she listened in about his government issues: [BCOLOR=#000000]"Government issues, huh? Anything I could be of advice? Or is it more of a security matter?"[/BCOLOR] When he said his final sentence, she thought about Vextra. Vextra could be called a friend in a loosest sense possible. Sure, he prefers her taking over the administration, but former special forces, or no former special forces, he's still a warlord in a sense, still. To Vextra she's indispensable, true, but for how long is unknown. Since he seemed more into more idle talk right now, she brought up a new subject: [BCOLOR=#000000]"Well, do tell me, what did you see, when you were just arriving at this planet? What did you see? What are the other regions like? Saw any other potential allies? Or maybe opponents?"[/BCOLOR]

    "Oh, for the love of..." MetallifeKuwagamon muttered when Aero appeared, shouting things at the CannonBeemon and then punching a hole clean through one of them with his plasma whatsit. It wasn't so much losing his soldiers that annoyed MetallifeKuwagamon, it's that he and his one cohort couldn't wait to get in line. He was going to tend to them after he was done with Marina, but some people...

    Before he could continue on that train of thought, the petite robot girl appeared again and threw the dying heap of CannonBeemon into the air. Just as much as he'd guessed the moment it missed the other CannonBeemon, she'd been aiming for his head specifically. The Digital General merely sighed at the makeshift missile. Then, he snapped into action...

    Metallifekuwagamon_ex_collectors_card.jpg

    "...Homing Laser!" shouted the digital monster. In a flash, the tips of his fingers fire ten different beams that continuously change their directions as they whizzed through the air, finally piercing clean through the dying CannonBeemon from ten different angles. MetallifeKuwagamon spread his arms wide with one quick action, and the lasers burn through the CannonBeemon's body, dicing it into numerous pieces and finally killing it. The pieces explode into data shortly afterwards, fading away into dust-like lights that glow a neon blue before finally disappearing into thin air. Done, and ultimately unscathed, MetallifeKuwagamon reverted into his calm posture, letting his arms hang at his sides. He took a side glance at Aero before putting his eyes back on Marina. But before that...

    "Oh, and hey!" he called out to the other, who was somewhere she thought she could hide from him. "...Bugging out, huh? Nice one, even if you happened to have not meant it! Just putting that out there, you know." he called out to them again. Maybe they hadn't figured it out yet, but he happened to be part of the cyborg line, and that meant lots of enhancements of all sorts to four of his main senses. He'd probably already straight-out told them he could hear every word the blue-haired one was saying, if not for the fact that he wanted them as his playthings and doing that would make it harder for him.

    He turned his head towards the machine with the dangerous energy signatures leaking out of it. He could tell that Aero was going to take a lot more finesse to make sure he didn't blow up in their faces. Of course, the other option is to just ignore him, but then what would he be doing there?

    "For what it's worth, you five..." he commanded the remaining CannonBeemon. "...Keep at it with the... hmm, girls. You're free to resort to plans B, C, and E to bring them to me. But I want them alive, understand?" when he was done, MetallifeKuwagamon turned to Aero and flew towards the metallic man whilst the rest of his CannonBeemon squadron flew into formations and re-directed themselves at Artemis and Marina.

    One unlocked its weapons docks, and started to rain down salvos of missiles on both of them. But the plan didn't end there. Anticipating their movements, the other four CannonBeemon were already in boost; they would dive in to smash Artemis and Marina up as soon as the two worked to dodge the missiles!

    MetallifeKuwagamon jetted towards Aero.

    "How annoying... Look, I don't really need your generic face, so I'm just going to go ahead and put you to pieces!" the digital monster sent his arms in front of him and fired, again.

    "...Homing Laser!" the ten light beams tore through the air towards Aero. True to their name, the lasers would either track their targets until they made contact, or the target was out of range. And at any time, MetallifeKuwagamon could easily turn them into beam swords or beam whips with nary a snap of the arms. The general had pin-pointed his beams to cut through Aero's limbs, and maybe even his head. It should be enough not to cause the reactors to go into meltdown. But that was the best case scenario, so, naturally, he had to anticipate failure...

    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Fan-fucking-tastic, just what I needed, insubordination."[/BCOLOR] Artemis said in frustration as she observed Marina choosing to keep with the battle instead. She sighed: [BCOLOR=#000000]"Something tells me Aero's not going to like it."[/BCOLOR]
    When MetallifeKuwagamon noticed her, she realized, that now it's going to be only possible to fight one's way out. As she noticed, that more CannonBeemons are approaching, she started feeling uneasy.

    At the same moment Aero expected the CannonBeemons to be used instead, but he did not feel disappointed, seeing MetallifeKuwagamon to go after him. After seeing the initial interception of a thrown CannonBeemon, he shut off the plasma rifle's hydrogen reservoir and redirected everything to engines' reservoir. He was already prepared to make the pulse when MetallifeKuwagamon approached. Before he could make an attack, Aero used the full force of the engines, creating a powerful pulse shock wave, and jumped to a height and angle, way out of the tracking system or full damage potential of the lasers, with such speed that the sheer aerial friction gave him a red-hot glow. Once in the height, safe from the lasers, still gliding, he contacted MetallifeKuwagamon, by intercepting the frequency code he used:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Oh, give me at least some degree of a challenge, old man. Telling me what you are going to do is like telegraphing your moves in a fistfight. You are allegedly the bad guy here, come on, show us some bad guy spirit, I should not even start telling you any of this. Where's the deceit? The dishonesty? The professionalism? You should stuff your mouth with something if the temptation to tell what you are about to do is so strong. Or at least make an innuendo instead. Here's a lesson for you, free of charge! What do I mean, when I say..."[/BCOLOR] Then Aero acquired the target and started landing, when he landed, he crash-grabbed on one of the CannonBeemons, tore opened it's back, and then extended a cable from his own hand: [BCOLOR=#000000]"It's time to hack the sack!"[/BCOLOR] and then he plugged the cable into the back of CannonBeemon, which initiated Aero's weapon (actually a bit more than that) slaving protocols:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]---Initializing SL4V3M4ST3R protocol---[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]Please wait...[/BCOLOR]

    [BCOLOR=#000000]Done.[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]Performing language calibration test...[/BCOLOR]

    [BCOLOR=#000000]Test successful, proceeding with hacking procedures...[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]Slaving avionics...[/BCOLOR]

    [BCOLOR=#000000]Done.[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]Slaving visual feed...[/BCOLOR]
    [Aero starts to see what CannonBeemon sees]

    [BCOLOR=#000000]Done.[/BCOLOR]

    [BCOLOR=#000000]Done, data streams uploaded.[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]Slaving weapons systems...[/BCOLOR]
    [CannonBeemon's weapons reassuringly move and re-calibrate themselves]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]Done.[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]Establishing slaving connection with the target.[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]Done.[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]Slaving protocols complete, the subject is under control.[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]Self-destruct T -5 seconds after physical disconnection set.[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]---Setting SL4V3M4ST3R protocol to idle mode---[/BCOLOR]
    Then Aero, controlling the CannonBeemon opened fire on other CannonBeemons, which were still approaching Marina and Artemis, heavily damaging both of those CannonBeemons, leaving only two others to worry about, but interrupting their initial maneuver. While he was still close to Artemis he shouted at her:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"I told you to extract her."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Hey, it's not my fault! She just won't listen!"[/BCOLOR]
    Aero made an exasperated sigh: [BCOLOR=#000000]"Leave it to women... Right... Since the first plan is down the drain, at least help me to down these clowns and any further reinforcements. When that's done, then we will take on their leader together, no point in trying to take on him in a duel. He may telegraph his moves, but he's not to be taken lightly either. Other than that - stick close, but far enough to not get in each other's way. Oh, and, Artemis, contact your buddies for backup."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Uh... About that... I don't have any means to do that."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"You wha... Fine, just tell me their emergency channel frequencies."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"I... Do not know those either."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Why would you not?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"I thought I'm only going to do a bit of a recon, as usual with me, while maintaining radio silence, and then you showed up, and woosh there, and woosh there, and now this genius plan of yours went ass-backwards! It's the last time I'm ever listening to a m--"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Woman. Stop. Just, stop. If, IF we are to survive this... I'm going to kill you. Unfuckingbelievable, the incompetence is mind-blowing! Look, just do something useful, okay? Go kill one of those things. Can you do that?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"How the hell can I? They're freaking machine abomination monsters! Do you really think assault carbine is going to be much good against them?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"You never know until you try it. Just trace for any possible weak spots."[/BCOLOR]
    Then Aero prepared for more fighting, keeping an eye on the interrupted formation. Now that he knows the fundamental language, that these... Not entirely machines speak, he can hack the next CannonBeemon in a much swifter procedure, that way jumping from host to host with ease. The hat trick, that he pulled with his engines took out pretty much all of his hydrogen, and host-jumping for him now is the most assured way to survive (plus at least a partial hu... Beemon shield), he does not even need to use his jets for this, only to change hosts at appropriate moment. He prayed that this battle would somehow contain some more hosts that he could jump upon. Two other CannonBeemons is a poor assortment, this would not give him the sufficient time to regain enough hydrogen for another trick like that, or any game-changing action that he could think of right now. Right now he really wanted to have his reactors working at full power, but his cells said another story, which was a shadow of it's former self story. If not for that, he could pretty much close the distance with MetallifeKuwagamon and just battle it all out with his plasma rifle. At very least to make it pointless for MetallifeKuwagamon to call upon any further reinforcements, but now reinforcements would be Aero's lifeline. Question is, will MetallifeKuwagamon notice this and will he close the distance, so he could finally take Aero out of equation? Or send in for more filler, to keep the trio divided and trying to take them out that way? He said, that he wants Marina and Artemis alive, so he might as well bog Aero down in a swarm and beat his feet. In either case, Aero's options started to look increasingly poor and he was concerned with the situation at hand. He still had the initiative, but he did not have any bright ideas what to do with said initiative either.

    In the meantime Artemis barely dodged the CannonBeemon, that targeted for her, loaded her assault carbine with armor piercing tungsten rounds, aimed and sighed: [BCOLOR=#000000]"Trace for any possible weak spots he says..."[/BCOLOR] and then she fired at the back of CannonBeemon. It left some marks, but it did not seem to do anything else with it. While she was still in somewhat close proximity with Marina, she commented:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Before you ask, I barely know him. But if you need to call on him, just call him Aero... Oh, and I'm Artemis."[/BCOLOR]
    Then, when that CannonBeemon made another swoop she clung on it's cannon, climbed on it's back, and started punching CannonBeemon in there with her cybernetic arm, until she could see light through it's back, then she jumped off, when the CannonBeemon was close enough to the ground and made a pretty hard landing, the shock went through her spine, and she lost coordination momentarily, but soon she regained understanding of what is going on, and stood up, preparing for MetallifeKuwagamon to finally close the distance. She commented on the now a scrap heap CannonBeemon:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Not sure if I'm good at beating stuff to a pulp, or are they made out of tinfoil, but that worked... Heh, that worked."[/BCOLOR]
    Artemis was clearly nervous about the situation. It just wasn't the situation, that she could anticipate:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Kingdom for a rocket launcher. No, scratch that, kingdom for a flak cannon!"[/BCOLOR]

  • Agony; Adjonta'al's Throne Room:
    A shadow demon filled in like smoke through the cracks in the doors and presented himself in front of Adjonta'al:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Oh, grand overlord and master, I bring news for you."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"I warned you all, that I am not to be disturbed!"[/BCOLOR] Adjonta'al said greatly agitated, raising his eyes from a manuscript.
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"But this is urgent, oh, grand overlord and master!"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"What is it? Another rebellion by the Infernal Mages?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"No, we've found a demon in this world!"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"So? I am not surprised that other of our brethren operate around here. Why are you making a big deal out of this?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"The said demon seems to work independently, oh grand overlord and master!"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Could of said it immediately! Never mind, how does he look like? What demon is it? How powerful is it?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Perhaps we can help you see this, oh, grand overlord and master!"[/BCOLOR] The head Pendemonial said, entering the hall: [BCOLOR=#000000]"I hurried as soon as we heard the news, because we thought you would be anxious to see it, oh, grand overlord and master!"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"You incompetent lot can actually think? Amazing! Even show me? Fantastic! GET THIS DONE ALREADY!"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"As you desire, oh, grand overlord and master."[/BCOLOR]
    Then the Pendemonial cast a vision portal showing the Aerophobia's current fight. Adjonta'al analyzed Aero's every move, and as he was watching, he commented:
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Interesting, but I still do not understand what kind of demon is he... He's fast like a berserker, launches fiery projectiles like a fire demon, flies like an air demon, armor of earth or steel demon... And... Can possess his targets? Unusual..."[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Have you seen anything like this before, oh, grand overlord and master?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Evidently - no, but I do know what he may be. It was in a bit of mythology I was reluctant to believe... Mortals of old used to worship a being named Vulcan... Allegedly divine being... The description does not entirely fit him, but he is still like Vulcan - part fire, part earth." [/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"But what good does that do, oh, grand overlord and master?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Short-sighted fools! Do you know what does it mean to have a God as one of ours? It means unlimited power! We can take anything with him!"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"He does not strike me as very divine, oh, grand overlord and master!"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"Legends are always exaggerations on one hand, on the other hand... His power is evidently raw, and untamed. He uses it, but he does not know how to be efficient with it. And he's... Hurt. I did make an overstatement with likening him to the divine, but... He's fierce. And strong. And that... means... I... WANT... HIM... ... NOW! BRING HIM HERE, NOW!"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"But, oh, grand overlord and master, what will Nohetzlav say, when he learns that you intervened with a battle, where one of his vassals are fighting?"[/BCOLOR]
    [BCOLOR=#000000]"So? Nohetzlav promised me souls in exchange, and that promise is still yet to be held up. Might as well make it start being held up with THIS soul. Assemble a... No... I've a better idea... A group which would be able to support him. Make them await for my signal. In the meantime... I'll observe if he's actually worth my attention... He still has to... Adequately impress me yet."[/BCOLOR] Adjonta'al said, leaning back in his throne, putting aside the priceless manuscripts and watching the action unfold, leaning his hand on his chin, with a thoughtful expression.

But she always comes 'round in the end." Daniel explained, walking towards his TARDIS with caution, gently caressing the side of it. After hearing Crais talk about how the TARDIS sounded like her mother, Daniel raised an eyebrow. "You can hear Auntie? What's she sound like? Well, actually I would be lying if I didn't say I already knew."

Looking over at 11, Daniel nodded and said "I managed to get a human-projection of her working deep inside the TARDIS mainframe. She comes out occasionally, but mostly she just says I'm driving like, and I quote, 'Your idiot father'. Her words dad, not mine." When 10 seemed ready to ask about the TARDIS having a human-form, Daniel raised a hand as if to say 'Long story'.

But just as soon as he spoke to 11, Daniel turned back to Crais and approached the girl. "I'm sure she'll be fine, my Auntie's pulled through worse situations before. Now then, you know where we can find this 'Empire', correct Miss?"

  • [Loading…Now loading Haibane Renmei- Bitter Cry]

    The boy was still so lost, so confused. Were they really in danger? Was there really a war going on? Why were they- well, he knew the reason but still! So confused…so lost…he didn't know what to do. He stared down at the device in his hands and took in a shuddering breath. Whatever the case, he might as well get NICOLE to safety, right? His thoughts were cut short when he stared at R2-D2, well, where he used to be with wide red eyes. Indeed, they were in danger and that thing that sucked up those poor people was not helping his anxiety one bit. Right, safety, away from that thing. He slowly stood back up and followed after the rest of the group.

  • There was a groan coming from the driver's seat as Kira clenched her hands around the steering wheel.
    "I hate those damn things and when i finally get to try one of these ground vehicles to"
    Hopefully that weird event would spit him back out again. She had spent some time on working up those blueprints.
    Looking up the engineer spotted Bird running towards them the woman opened her door and shouted with an angry voice.
    "Get in folks we are leaving now!"
    Barley giving the rest a chance to secure themselves the woman hit what seemed the first gear and stepped on the paddle. For a second the car shivered and roared before jumping forward. Shocked Kira had pulled her foot back and the vehicle slowed down.
    "Oh wow" She was silent for a second before smiling "Okay i think i got this now" She said before the engine roared again, the vehicle leapt up the ramp and out through the open gate into the ruin city. It didn't slow down instead it went faster as the woman glanced at the map. While they had no GPS she had gotten around this using sensors that read the surroundings and putting that together with maps loaded into the computer memory bank, it worked pretty much the same way. "Sucks we got no radio channels even with this trimmed engine it will take a while to drive all the way."

  • The wormholes scared the girl plucking the cat out of her arms. But the goddess was quick to reaffirm the lost ones safety. Still worried She hesitantly followed the others as they began their journey to this other place. Hopefully it would be less intimidating then this area. She thought looking back towards the place where they had gathered earlier.
    "Um so how are we going to do this. I mean i understand the goal but the means to reach them i don't know" Many of the others either didn't seem to care much or had enough experience. But as for her, she lacked it all being a student and all some guidance would make the young girls life a lot easier.

Raven had been quiet listing to the others and begun to walk but the Lion stopped her for a moment. She didn't turn but she listened to what he had to say. "The world may seem that way. But there is always hope" She stated the words seeming to have more meaning to her than it may the others why once more she wasn't sure but something told her it had to do with her life. A secret that may be revealed in time. Hearing the Lion's final words Raven continued to walk once more.

Raven listened to a girl in the group she didn't yet know by name then again they probable din't know her's. "I am not sure." She began. "But as I told that strange man. My answer is to keep hope. I feel we may in time find a way. The means of how for peace may be unclear now. But maybe they will seem clear later on. We do not yet know each other there for we do not know how yet each of us can show peace is the answer." She explained her thoughts and reasons. Then returned quiet.

MARINA_by_pokemar.png
Marina Liteyears

The battle just got a lot more interesting, although Marina wasn't too happy that MetalifeKuwagamon ignored her to go fight the new guy with the plasma cannon. "Hey! Get back here!" Her calls went ignored as the CannonBeemon descended upon them with a load of missiles that could block out the sun. The pair began to run away from the volley of explosions as they rallied themselves to go back on the offensive. "Don't worry about finding weak points, These guys might as well be made out of tinfoil with how easily they can be taken down." she said in confidence. Thou she doubted that her blue hair friend had the kind of strength that Marina had, it wouldn't help them if she criticized her. "My name is Marina, Ultra-Intergalactic Cybot G. Just let me know if you need a hand." Marina and Artemis then split the attention of the remaining CannonBeemon with Marina taking the bulk of them. As a new volley was getting launched, Marina decided that she was tired of running and instead wanted to give her legs a break. One of the missiles started to creep up right behind her and she waited until just the right moment for to jump backwards on top of the creeping missile. Soon Marina went from running from to riding on top of a giant missile, surfing through the air like she was a natural surfer...uh missile surfer. "Waaahoo!" The CannonBeenmon weren't phased and continued their pursuit as if nothing spectacular happened, but Marina now had something to help her go on the offensive. She turned her missile around and in what some would call a superhuman feet of strength and dexterity, grabbed one of the missile chambers off of one of the CannonBeemon's back and ripped it off while heading in the opposite direction. The two opposing force turned themselves around and charged at each other once more, only this time the CannonBeemon was charging into a hail of missiles as Marina shook her newly acquired missile chamber wildly as missiles shot out.

Wolf gave in to Andrea's counter-argument, and nodded, "Alright, that's a sound plan for the groundwork of the Sea trade, but might I propose, if we aren't intending to use bulk transports, might we, perhaps, trade rare resources instead? We can get plenty of metal and stone from all the rubble that sits around our cities. The problem for me is finding all the luxury goods, that make people feel so rich. I also intend to use your idea of 'null currency' as well, perhaps it might mean a surge of people appearing on both of our cities, SO, if you could help me get started on that. And finally, as for the mercenaries...what is it, exactly, that they do such a hard work on?" She replied on the subject of his Governmental instability, and he scratched the back of his head, growing nervous. "Yeah, I got some problems with the trust pf my government, you know? Not many people know me, and some people want that to be the truth, so, you could say I have traitors among the high ranks of my system, yes...But that's not much of an issue for me, it's just aggravating to think that there are idiots in this world that would love to kill for leadership...I don't suppose...you have the same issue?" He wondered, with the world in its current stater, traitors are bound to be everywhere!
Her final subject was about his trip here, and if he saw anyone or any other civilizations that might come to help or hinder the operations, he replied with a smirk; "I hear that there's quite a bit of people in the capital of this place, surely there are warlords over there, heard the place was SUPER DANGEROUS, like the worst in the world. I even saw a larger, lit tower far south on my way here! In fact, you could possibly see it for miles, I didn't bother going because what surrounded it didn't look promising, what about you? What things do you like to hear about?"

  • [BCOLOR=#000000]"Very well, it should be done by necessity either way, bulk cargo ships are only an existing option for any new developments in the future. As for mercenaries. Well, let me put it this way - no work, no pay. I hire for individual missions. I don't pay any non-action rates, those are none of my business. Their companies are paid exclusively for deployments - they became more eager for action quite instantaneously."[/BCOLOR] she agreed, concluding the subject, then moving on to the loyalty subject: [BCOLOR=#000000]"Great fools are always attracted by the prospects of great power. And fools are freaking everywhere, so don't you even doubt about me have such ambitious, colorful... individuals. They take power as privilege, not as a consumable resource - once you spent it all on stupid decision after a stupid decision, you're shriveled up, dry and nobody in the world cares about you anymore. To maintain authority and power, the so-called privilege of takes effort and thought, long hours of planning and forecasting. But I'm sure I don't need to teach you the obvious. It's just that it earns my ire... I remember when I was the CEO, I did hear the echoes of workers' commentary. "This bitch is insane" they said, "I can't believe I'm going to have overtime again" they said. But not even once did they think or mention for a moment, for a single, miserable moment, that how elaborately put the scheme was to keep them all employed and the company expanding. I had to be a complete miser of resource allocation to get all of our company's obligations concluded, all contracts finished, the working environment up to standard, and all production up to specification. If no obligations or contracts are concluded in acceptable time - no income. No income means staff cuts, and they called me a crazy bitch for keeping them all in employment. Not once. Anyone. Did ever recognize my effort. Not for once did they think that the reason why they had their income 25% above industry average was because, I!"[/BCOLOR] she shook her hands rapidly, gesturing at herself, pronouncing the first sentence as if trying to say the words in bold and underlined font: [BCOLOR=#000000]"Me - I. I managed to assure and prove to my clients, that we can do orders faster and better than anyone else. In short the workers called me a crazy bitch because I had faith in them, which, mind you, was not a disappointed faith. I know, that I went off the tangent here, but this is the kind of people who think they can do better leadership, and approve of each other in their echo chamber meetings. Those who know what and how long I need to work, just to keep things going are just happy they get to be a mere cog in the system - they do their part, they get the paycheck and they can go fuck off wherever. I, on the other hand, have to think, rethink, evaluate, re-evaluate and improvise every damn aspect, that comes across my hands. If they question my leadership, they are welcome to be one for the day, and DO MY EXACT WORK. There were a few who tried, I should mention, cannot deny that fact. All of them broke down, without even getting to the end of the first half of the day. And nowadays my day is fifteen hours long. Not the awake time, the work, seven damn days a week."[/BCOLOR] she sighed, as if running out of steam, recollected herself, and put a conclusion to her point: [BCOLOR=#000000]"I am sorry, but it makes me smolder when I think about it. They want the power I allegedly have? Fine, they can take it, in the meanwhile I will sit back and watch their swan song, while they drive the whole damn thing into the ground. I shall enjoy their hanging by an angry mob."[/BCOLOR] Andrea seemed almost furious, when she was talking, after another moment, she calmed down, and returned on the subject matter: [BCOLOR=#000000]"I can arrange for you the framework for the null currency. Some things, well, plenty actually are needed to be taken into account, after all. Sustenance requirements, consumption rates, current supply, current demand, normalization, classification, et cetera, bottom line is, it's plenty of statistics to go over. The whole idea would take a few days to finalize, and about a month to realize."[/BCOLOR] on the final subject, she nodded: [BCOLOR=#000000]"I see... Well, nowadays I did not hear much, save for whatever seems to happen in the ocean, not quite sure what's that about, though... Otherwise... Nothing of interest. As for myself, nowadays I only prefer to hear things that can shorten my day. And all of them are not that. Every time something else is going to happen, that will require me to do something about it. Someone does not approve of our government, there's a terrorist bombing, civilians dead, policemen dead, followed by a shootout, and of course I am called to write a public statement, granted, more like proofread it, but still, the whole thing feels like an elementary school's play. Naturally, there's collateral damage, people ask about renumeration, my security department is confused, I have to draw up new rules, because it is not human to use common freaking sense... Do you start to get the feeling, WHY I do not feel secure about leaving my office? Well, that's why. When I will come back, next thing they are going to tell me is that there was a flying house, full of people, which crashed into another building, and how should anyone go about that phenomenon."[/BCOLOR]
