The Thinned Skins

Soon 2 guards walked in escorting a masked hooded man in a straitjacket. They opened up one of the empty cages in the back and kicked him in knocking him to the floor face down before locking the gate. "Don't worry, I'm sure the egg heads will make good use of that destructive nature you have creature. Maybe you won't get the punishment you deserve for destroying property if you're lucky." They then left as he forced himself up and turned over to sit against the bars. He merely scanned the room with his red eyes seeing others in almost the same situation he was in.

A plane, huh?, Ace thought. He wondered where they were going. Hopefully, somewhere better than the facility. His thoughts were interrupted as someone else entered. He watched as the man was shoved into a cage. From what the scientists said, it seemed like the man was a very difficult person. Hope he doesn't cause trouble for us, the brunet thought.

Again Nadia recognized the face of the man that entered, seeing him around the facility now and again. Where was he before? Another half hour passed before the scientists returned. They held 2 small leather sacks , packed to the brim. The bags were dropped in the middle of the hallway, then all but one left, the one with the bald head stayed.. "We're descending" He said slyly, eyeing us all as he stood firmly.

The man stared straight back at the scientist barely blinking. His mask made seem that he was always smirking and sometimes he was. "Your attempts to frighten us are pitiful at best. Hopefully you don't practice as a part time actor because I doubt you'll be getting a position anywhere." With that he actually did hold a smirk under his mask. He knew noone here had done anything wrong and if anyone was going to stand up to them he would gladly do it, no matter how many scars he recieved.

My eyes widened as I looked at the sacks. I knew those sacks. They were survival sacks, One for clothes, One for food and one for weapons. When they had recruited me they had given me three sacks just like those, for different tests and such. The weapons were to see if we were violent, the clothes were so they didn't have to pay more for clean clothes and the food was so I didn't die. I shivered. Where ever they were taking us, we definitely wouldn't be able to survive on our own.

Edward made his way into the room with all the skinners after seeing them he say "I have been told to watch you guys while you're being moved, just to make sure non of you guys get out or anything". he shifted a little surveying everyone in the room "i expected they would give you all a little more room then just those little cages... eh ill make sure to bring it up with the boss later" says Edward, mostly speaking to himself.

Ace grinned as Edward entered. His grin grew at his words. The Thin Skinner like Edward. He was like the light in all lf this darknesss. The only one who truly cared for them. Speaking up since he asked about the announcement, he tilted his head as he said, "Hey, Edward." Edward happened to be the only scientist that Ace actually knew by his name. And he didn't mind that at all.

"What is it" Asked Edward looking towards Ace

Ace shook his head as he rocked back and forth. "Nothing. Just wanted to say hi," the brunet answered. A Cheshire Cat grin was upon his face now. He wished they hurried up and land. He really wanted to get out of this cage. His legs were starting to fall asleep and get that familiar, yet hated tingly feeling.

"Oh sorry. Hey Ace, nice to see you." Replied Edward, smiling lightly. "Hope you non guys are not having too bad of a time."

Kaiser looked at Edward and Ace. It seemed like the two knew each other a bit, perhaps this scientist is a bit more caring then the others. "So you're our...caretaker, or our supervisor? Anyway when I get traded to another cage can I lose this stupid jacket. It was comfortable at first, but now my arms are falling asleep and its kind of hard to get up after being kicked over by your buddies. I swear I won't do what I did to the cargo bay." He said looking back at Edward.

"Im sorry but i cant do that, it would be a safety risk, and i would probably get fired. Most likely if you remain docile for long enough they will be more relaxed with you and give you a bit more freedom" answered Edward tugging at his shirt a little bit

"Freedom, a magnificent word. A word none of us will probably ever feel until we go to sleep for the final time. Although you humans would never know that feeling. You are free to do what you want. And here you stand looking down on us, judging us, experimenting on us. As much as I wanted a new home, I think I'd rather freeze on the street than be stuck in this cage. Tell me, does your kind restrain me because of fear? Because of my anger or power? Does your kind fear its own creation of becoming the uncontrollable perfect being? Or do you just feel because I am a lesser being I should be treated in the way trash would be treated." He said as he moved himself closer to the front of the bars.

Nadia sat quietly watching Everyone talk. WHERE ARE WE GOING? She screamed in her head, which was still foggy from being drugged. Suddenly her ears popped to signal us getting closing to the ground. She stuck her nose out between a bar to peer down the hallway.

Adrien, maroon
A bit of a deep sleeper, Adrien suddenly snapped awake, looking around in confusion. He'd been hearing the voices of the others for a while, while he slept, but his mind attributed it to dreams. He only snapped awake as he came to the realization that they might be real. Though calming a bit, Adrien cringed as his head throbbed in pain. Everything was still pretty fuzzy from the drugs, and shaking his head hadn't helped. After giving the pain a moment to subside, he slowly looked up again, glancing around the area. He'd already noted that he was in a cage, but that didn't bother him much. He was far too interested in the fact that there was others around him. He hadn't seen other people in years. It was almost enough to make him cry in excitement. Especially with the fact that they were also in cages meant that they had to be...The same... As him.

Instead, he simply continued to stare at the others for a while before grinning. "Hey! Nice.. Weather we're having..." He muttered jokingly as he took another look around. "Um. Where are we?"

"We're on a plane" Nadia muttered, managing a small smile at the joke. She noticed how cold the metal cage was, but the air in the plane was warm enough so it didn't bother her too much. She was studying the two bags that sat crookedly in the hallway, they were closed with a drawstring.

After a while Kaiser looked Nadia. "They said we'll be landing soon right? Think where we are being transferred is just as bad as the facility? Think it might be worse as we might be part of some super secret project?"

Adrien, maroon
"Plane...? That would certainly explain the noise, I guess. We're being transferred somewhere?" Adrien questioned, furrowing his brows. "Why? I mean, why now?" He added, looking around once more, his eyes landing on the bags in the hallway. "Either way, I'm pretty sure we're already part of some super secret project, so I wouldn't worry to much about that." He muttered, laughing lightly. "Soo... You guys can, y'know.. Change into an animal, too?"

"Yeah. Names Kaiser or as they call me Project Dragon 113. Don't mind the jacket. I'm not crazy, just had a bit of a anger management problem in the cargo hold. And so now I'm on restricted supervision. Emphasis on restricted." He said as he turned to Adrien.

Nadia nods at , while watching the masked man closely. Dragon! The thought excited Nadia, she'd always had wanted to see one. She decides to speak up. "I'm Oh Oh Six" She chirps, nervously, her cat like eyes appear almost to be smiling. It was odd to be happy at a time like this, but Nadia hadn't talked to anyone but scientists for the last five years so it intrigued her.
