This is a sci-fi/fantasy RP. The Players are young Mages who have been brought to the Academy in order to develop their magical talent and protect their city. They will fight monsters that roam in the wilderness, investigate nefarious plots against King and Country, and so on. But that is all in their future. For now, after a bit of general plot setup, let us have the characters meet up, get to know one another, etc. We can feed them to monsters later.

The plot so far:
The students meet their teacher, Professor Yuki Okamoto, and have their first few days of instruction.

About a week into their Academy life, they are unexpectedly sent out on a mission to investigate the town of Normaden. They learn that a Witch, a powerful monster that sometimes grows from humans with magical potential, has developed in the region. Their Professor takes on the role of exterminating the Witch itself, leaving the students to handle some of its Familiars. During the students' fight, though, they are unexpectedly brought face to face with an Angel. After a fierce fight, the students are victorious and return to their homes safely.

Back in Uruk, the plots grow thicker. A massive force of Angels has gathered near Babylon, and the head honchos discuss plans of how to deal with the threat. The Academy's Headmaster learns that the Angel that the students encountered was sent by the Chief of the Galileians. What could Chief Herschel be plotting, and why involve these young Mages?

Completely unaware of these plots, the students are assigned another mission: to resolve an incident over who should possess a valuable research subject. They will be escorted and monitored by Essence Parker, one of the academy's Student Council members...

The red-haired boy had finally arrived. He was really keen on showing his medallion. It looked nice and pretty. Even Rainer had to appreciate it. "Hello, Londo. I'm Rainer." He told him to take a shower, but Rainer was confused, he even sniffed himself up, but he smelled just like usual.

The talking doggy told Rainer that his wand smelled illegal, or whatever was inside it. Rainer was worried, stressing out, thinking that maybe someone put something really bad into his bag. Drugs? Weapons? Chemicals? He took the bag off of him and began rummaging through. His spirit climbed out of the stuffed bunny and was silently screeching at him a bit. "I know, but the doggy said there might be something illegal in it and I can't find anything... You'll have to leave your wand for just a bit, okay?" The little withering Sylvian had something resembling sadness on it's face as it "screeched" quietly in sadness... Anthousai scaled his body and crawled into one of his pockets. Rainer then took the bunny and walked over to one of the bushes outside the residence and hid the stuffed animal in there. Maybe this was what Londo meant earlier? Maybe there was something illegal in his bunny that smelled bad and illegal? That'd also explain the bullying... Rainer made sure to keep that in mind for later and possibly fix it later. Possibly.

He then walked over back to the mansion, he still smelled a bit, a faint smell of animal carcass was on him, but it was rather minor, so it wasn't really noticeable, unless you were standing right next to him. He entered the residence alongside the others. There was also the weird woman, but she wasn't important. At least her house looked cool, so while coming inside he looked around in wonder. When asked if he wanted to drink anything, he just asked for a cup of water. Once it was delivered, he drank around half of it. Then his Spirit climbed out of his pocket, even smaller sized than before and went into the cup of water and just kinda chilled there, giving a quiet and slightly relaxed screech.

The toughest part of this all was, without a doubt, resisting the urge to pet the doggy. His fur seemed so nice. His body was big too! He was almost the perfect doggy. The doggy would most likely catch some glances from Rainer every once in a while. Rainer was especially worried, because this is the first doggy that's said that it didn't want to be pet, so Rainer was in utter and complete turmoil...

After Hibiscus pressed the button, a voice asked for identification. Hibiscus swallowed, then spoke clearly, "H-Hibiscus Oswald. I am here on a mission from the Academy to speak to... Ewald Themistocles" Hibiscus said, looking at her AMB module to see if she got it right, then she provided her digital ID to the intercom.

After Ruya identified herself, they let them in. Hibiscus was worried about the fact that Lavi wasn't here, but Ruya had pressured Hibiscus into leaving without her, because they'd be late otherwise. Hopefully nothing happened to her...

Hibiscus was worried about the prospect of doing this herself as well, since Essence had made it clear that the students would be performing investigations, and if Lyka would speak up and ruin everything at times. She kept walking towards the reception as these thoughts emerged in her head... She was actually pretty scared.

After meeting with the receptionist, they went through many hallways purely designed to make Hibiscus uncomfortable. This stuff seemed really dangerous, with how many signs said "dangerous", why would they just have those be off the beaten path?! Clearly, Hibiscus's thinking was wrong, but she was still nervous with how many signs they were passing.

They finally managed to reach their destination, and inside it was a man who introduced himself as Ewald. Hibiscus nervously swallowed, but stuck out her hand for the shake. It wasn't a firm one, but rather dainty due to Hibiscus herself not being that tough or strong a person, "M-My name's Hibiscus Oswald. I'm from the Academy. You probably know why, but I'll say it just in case..." Hibiscus swallowed again and looked back at Ruya, who was being no help because that's what Essence wanted, "Ahem... Uh, We are here to look into the mission you were on with..." Hibiscus trailed off, checking her AMB, "Ahn Walahfrid. She claims to have been attacked by you. Both of you said you found the hull of the La... Lacertan... spaceship and got into a fight about it. One of you found it first, but we're here to find out who it was and, and find truth to these claims." Hibiscus said, glad that Lyka didn't interupt once, hopefully she was just sleeping...

Hibiscus coughed into her hand to clear her throat, "A-Anyways, can you tell me what happened that day? Don't leave anything out, even small things to talk about could be important."

As Walahfrid left the room Ozymandius took the opportunity to stand up and look around while they waited on her. He didn't do anything that would look too suspicious, mostly just peering around to see if any of her research was around in the library. That would give him a strong indicator after all. When she returned he moved back to his seat. Taking the water with a thanks, Ozy took a small sip before sitting it down and taking his seat again. "Thank you. You have a number of interesting volumes in your collection I see." Ozymandius complimented. "I am afraid that time is short however. Could you tell me precisely what happened at the crash site?" If his special magic bracelet had the ability to record voices he would take the opportunity to activate it at this moment.

Ryan felt somewhat relieved when Essence informed him that they didn't need to be that cautious, but to still stay aware to not mess much with the scene. Reasonable enough. Ryan nodded and went back to his spot, still wary of not falling through the floor. Not wanting to bother anyone, he sat back down an continued to meditate for the rest of the trip.
Ryan certainly was up for a very surprising landing, as he wasn't aware of it until the ship started violently shaking. He put his hands on the floor, to gain some balance. It wasn't that successful, as the shaking slammed him into the wall behind him. Luckily for him, he avoided the weak wall, since he wasn't ejected out of the ship. Once the shaking stopped, Ryan slowly stood with a hand on his slightly sore back. He would quickly react, if someone ended on the floor. Ryan would offer a hand, to aid in getting up, asking "Are you alright?" Whether or not he'd helped anybody, he would eventually make his way out of the ship. He was startled by the sudden request of Suilen. "Gah!... Oh... Sure" he grabbed the phone and stepped down the airship. He then aimed the camera at Suilen, which showed an uncharacteristic, endearing smile adorning her face. Ryan was distracted by that, and took a few more seconds for him to actually take the picture. And just like that, her smile was gone. He tried to hide his surprise as he handed the phone back to her "H-Here you go"
Ryan took a couple more steps around as he inspected his surroundings. An odd place, most likely the reason of the rough landing. More importantly though, the ship. It was nowhere to be seen. Oddly enough, Suilen transformed, which made Ryan nervous. Did she notice something dangerous? His head started going through the possibilities, until Suilen turned and asked about the ship. No alerts? Good. Feeling the uneasiness decreased. To the point Ryan felt comfortable enough to add to the question of Suilen "Is it... below us? Or the ship c-can't... take us closer to it?"
By this point, and if no one intervened, Kashmir would exit the ship and strolled to be next to Ryan.

Essence Parker

After taking in the scenery and looking like tourists for a while, Suilen and Ryan got to business. "From what I gathered, it's buried partially into one of the rock formations. I had expected there to be a clearer indication of where that is, but it seems the drama between the two departments made them leave it largely untouched until either party can formally claim it as theirs." She sighed. She was already a bit worried that this would happen, which was the main reason she'd come along with the group going to the scene itself, and why she had brought Kerr along. "Just give me a moment."

[Rank E] Ground-penetrating radar
- Description: Less dirty than it sounds, but still plenty dirty.

- Effect: Allows Essence to see what lies beneath the ground in a 50m radius as if using a highly accurate, yet more range-limited radar.
- Attribute Modifier: None
- Cost: 15 Prana + 20 Stamina
- Type: Active
- Affinity: Supportive

After a few attempts at using this magic, moving from area to area, Essence soon picked something up. "Ah, there we go." She pointed to one of the overhanging rock formations. "It's over there near the bottom, only part of it should be visible from above ground. About two thirds of it is embedded into the rock formation itself, suggesting it crashed here with enough force to dig itself into the earth... Thinking about it, these odd formations themselves might be the result of whatever battle occurred here... Sorry, that's not our current mystery to solve."

Upon heading towards the direction Essence pointed at, they would see very little evidence of a struggle. Whatever happened between Ahn and Ewald most likely didn't last long. They would need to look for specific things mentioned in the post if they wanted to see if there was more to learn from the scene itself, as nothing else would stand out without specifically looking for it. As for the 'ship' in question, it seemed like Essence's earlier remark in class was on the spot. It was indeed just a chunk of metal sticking out of the base of the rock formation. It wasn't much bigger than a fridge door, and the material was an alloy that resembled steel. It didn't show any signs of having been tampered with in any way, shape or form, as it seemed like simple weather phenomena had exposed it to the air over time, rather than manual digging.

Stanley Barker

Stanley was glad that he had gotten the kid to drop the back-pack. The kid still has a faint smell of something dead surrounding him, but it wasn't strong enough to mess with Stanley's dog nose anymore. The only thing that kept disturbing him were the gazes he got from that kid. There was definitely something unnerving about it.

Ahn Walahfrid

As Ozymandius peered around, he'd most likely notice that the books seemed to be arranged in order of when Ahn had gotten them, as there was a clear pattern of which books had gathered the most dust. The 'oldest' books, according to dust patterns, were 'Basic Magic Instruction' type of books, and a fair few of them. In fact, Ozymandius would recognize some of them if he had been to the Academy's library, although most of them were older versions of the books currently in use. Gradually, these types of books changed into books about Thaumaturgy, and those, in turn, gradually seemed to go from beginner to advanced to expert. There were some odd exceptions, such as a bright orange book called '100 recipes for omelets' and a dark brown book called "Tia Sanna: Folk hero turned politician" as well as some general books about physics, mathematics and chemistry. The latest, least-dusted books were overwhelmingly about the properties of various metals and alloys, and on conductivity of different types of energy, including prana, as well as on designs of all sorts of wands.

Having given them the drinks, and having watched the creepy kid's odd spirit use the glass a bathtub, Ahn was faced with the first question, of which her answer would even be recorded. As she was talking, she was getting more and more angry with every word. "Crash site...? Oh, right, where we found the remnants of the Lacetran Hull. Well, we were on a combined expedition, but things weren't going all that great. We had signs that there was something in the area, but all our scans hadn't shown anything, so we were getting worried. It's pretty expensive to host an expedition like that, especially when you come home empty handed. That's when we figured that the actual crash site could've been further west, so I went to investigate and Ewald figured he'd tag along. As we were looking around, I suddenly spotted a glimmer, and when I went closer, part of the hull was actually there, simply exposed for all to see, so I got so excited I called Ewald over to come look. Guess what? The fucker suddenly draws his knife and tried to freaking stab me! He probably forgot I was a mage or something, because I was quick enough to transform and draw Clanton here on him, before he could finish the job." Ahn said it as she showed them her spirit, an Artificial in the form of a peculiar looking handgun. Although she did sound generally angry, some parts of her 'speech ' sounded a bit practiced.

Ewald Themistocles

Ewald scoffed a bit at the weak handshake, as weak handshakes suggest a weak personality. As he realized the girl didn't even really get her facts straight, he almost face-palmed. He was soon asked to tell her what happened, and considering he wasn't allowed to leave out details, he gestured her to a chair in front of his desk while he took place behind it again. "Sure. Our mission had not progressed all that well, until we recalculated where the area of interest might be. Figuring it was worth a shot to go look in the new area, I went out to investigate on my own, but Ahn followed me. As I managed to locate the object in question, I wanted to report it by calling it in to the rest of the crew. You see, it is common for the one finding an object of interest to immediately report it. Anyhow, as I was grabbing my phone, this insane woman suddenly rushes at me in an attempt to stop me. She must've thought she could easily take me due to her background as a mage or something, but she didn't seem to realize I've got good army training. So when she realized she wouldn't be able to just rush at me, she stole my combat knife and stabbed herself with it, in an attempt to frame me for attacking her." As he was talking, he seemed to be getting himself pretty worked up and frustrated. Even so, some of the things he said sounded a tad bit practiced.

Rainer continued to glance over at the doggy, the urge to pet him was strong as heck. But he had to concentrate... The doggy said no touching. It was hard to deal with, but that's how it was. He also listened in on the conversation, he was good at listening to things that didn't concern him, but this time he focused some of his efforts on also listening to things that more or less concerned him.

Alas, this was a grown up conversation. He didn't have much place to butt in... But he was determined and that's what matters. He then heard Ahn say that some "fucker" tried to stab her! Did he succeed? Was this his time to butt in? After she finished talking, he immediately started talking, even spitting a bit, whilst doing so, from the sheer excitement! "Did you get stabbed!? I've also gotten stabbed before! Well, I stabbed myself, but, but... Uh, do you wanna compare scars!?" He pulled up his left sleeve and shoved a scar right on his wrist. "See? I did this! And then Anthy appeared! Did you also get a spirit!?"

Rainer heard the words and the sentences, but he was too busy sneaking glances at the doggy to actually follow the conversation... He just knew that finding something in common lead to a better conversation! Whatever this conversation was actually about... Nor did he actually remember what they were supposed to be doing here. Ah! That's right! Spaceships! But he didn't hear any spaceship related words unfortunately... She did say some words he didn't know though, like hull and fucker... Fucker rolled off of the tongue so well though, he made sure to engrave the word in his memory!

Londo, after being given soda, sat quietly and sipped at it like a good boy, waiting for his opportunity to shine!

And did an opportunity come it did! Rainer spoke up about her being stabbed, then Londo spoke up as well after the gun was shown, "That's sweet! What do you look like transformed? What are you powers? Are you strong? Did you shoot at him too? Also where's your spirit? Is your spirit powerful?" Londo said, shooting off the questions one after the other with no break in between any.

Londo then got up onto the nearby chair (if there was any) to get face height with Ahn, more excited than before, "You're a mage, so do you also have a deity you follow? I'm a Disciple of Glory myself! I follow Cadwgan, God of Glory! You should too! Anyways, how badly did you hurt him, or did he hurt you? How cool are your moves?!" Londo said once again, firing off more questions than before.

Hibiscus sat down while Ewald explained the details. He didn't seem like a very nice person to Hibiscus, but she wasn't allowed to be biased here. Her mission was to find out who was telling the truth, not say whoever she didn't like was guilty. His story seemed credible, but she shivered when he talked about Ahn stabbing herself. Hibiscus did that a lot but she still didn't like to hear about it.

After he told her everything, Hibiscus starting asking questions, writing down everything in her AMB module to make sure she kept everything straight, "O-Ok... So, she stabbed herself?... Wait, wasn't she a mage? Did she transform, or just rushed you, as you put it? How was she able to steal your knife? I-I need more details, please... I-I don't want you to leave anything out. I'm trying to find the truth, so if you're innocent, then you have to help me, ok?" Hibiscus said, wondering about his practiced speech. Although, that probably shouldn't have been too much cause for concern, as most people like to get their stories right and straight before telling them, cause a mishap could cause trouble, so Hibiscus only put it as a side note for now.

"YEA! Give us the deets, fUCKER!" Lyka yelled out from Hibiscus's pocket, startling Hibiscus and causing her to stand up and apologize for it, "I-I'm very sorry! T-that was my spirit, Lyka, s-she, she does that sometimes!" Hibiscus said in a panic, using her hoodie to once again try to cover up Lyka's core.

Ozy listened politely, absorbing the details. So far he was just here to ask questions, not draw conclusions. He mentally noted that she had a gun. If she had such a weapon, no doubt Themosticles would have trouble attacking her. He mentally winced when Rainer started talking. He wondered for a moment if they should actually refrain from using harsh language around these children, but shrugged it off when he remembered they were also basically soldiers. If soldiers wanted to cuss, they could cuss. Especially if they were conscripted at such a young age. Still, the creepy language could be avoided. "Ah, Rainer perhaps now is not the best time for such things?" He said gently and then turned back to Walahfrid with an apologetic smile. "Though he does bring up a good point, were you injured in the attack? Did you and Themosticles ever argue before this?"

Elisa

Although the occasion was the most perfect to bond with Essence, Elisa couldn't help herself with the marvel of the old airship. As soon as it took off she went off to explore at places even bit hazardously, leaving her bag behind as she went through all sort of possible crevices. And when something was too tight for her to fit, all it took was some creativity with her unique transformation.

When the airship halted, she didn't even realize at first. Spending a good measure of time to navigate herself back. Elisa was probably in a need for a shower after this. But appearance was only vanity and she had had fun exploring. Returning like nothing had happened she went to pick-up her bag and she placed whatever exploratory souvenirs of loose bolts or screws that she could find inside.

"Wait... Did we crash-land in here or something? I don't see any..."

Elisa darted from window to window but all she could see was ... nothing really. Only rocks. Elisa dashed outside and went after to find Essence. She was just about to hear the general explanation.

"So it's buried completely. No way in? I had hoped to get to explore..." Elisa would give a sigh and instead she would try to see, if the explorer module was any useful in here. She would go a little on a treasure-hunt to see, if she there was anything left behind that she could find with a childish enthusiasm.

Essence Parker

Essence shook her head at Elisa's question. "Even if it was above-ground, there wouldn't be an 'in' as there is just a single plate remaining." Well, Essence herself had seen enough. She'd leave the kids to wander around for a bit, while she herself figured she'd climb the rock formation in which the airship plate was buried. Whether she had any reason to do so or whether she was just feeling a bit adventurous herself was a mystery.

As for Elisa's exploration, the biggest treasure she was able to hunt down were small pieces of rose quartz. That said, the area was certainly a prize in its own. Using the Explorer Module, she'd notice that the odd rock formations were specific to the area they were in, as the surrounding land consisted of simple hills with a few small streams flowing through them. Other than the occasional group of pine trees, the area was mostly grassland that stretched out as far as the eye could see.

Stanley Barker

Stanley silently endured more of Rainer's gazing, as he listened in on the conversation. It was far different from how Essence would handle this, that much was clear, but that made it all the more interesting to see what results they'd get.

Ahn Walahfrid

Ahn was surprised by the kind of questions she got. She knew they were kids and all, but she had expected them to be a bit more... professional? Focused? Concentrated? She wasn't sure what the issue at hand were, but luckily their guardian managed to get something sensible out of it. "Yeah, although it was a minor injury. He stabbed me in the arm, but he probably would've managed to stab my torso if I hadn't instinctively raised it. I got it healed by someone at the Thaumaturgical Society when I returned, and I asked them to heal it so that it wouldn't be leaving a scar." She directed the latter part at Rainer.

As for Londo's rapid-fire questionnaire... "This guy is my spirit." She said, holding up the gun again. "He never said a word though, and I doubt he'll start doing so. Also, I didn't have to shoot him, as Ewald stopped the moment I transformed and pointed Clanton at him. He must've realized how stupid he was being, attempting to attack a mage and all... I'm not strong, but I can sure beat someone like him." She had to take a moment to recall what else was among the kid's questions. "I don't follow a deity, I value science over divinity, as gods are more fickle than facts and knowledge." She hoped she had answered enough of the rapid-fire questions to satisfy the kid.

That left only the older man's second question. "We had some differences of opinion, but never really an argument like this. After all, I'd like to point out that this 'argument' included the fact that I got stabbed." Ahn seemed a bit annoyed at the fact that Ozymandius seemed to imply that this might have just been 'yet another' argument in a long history of arguing. "We don't even know each-other that long, as this joint mission was set-up a few months back, and most of our interactions until then haven't been face-to-face. Otherwise I'd have probably learned to avoid him a lot earlier."

Ewald Themistocles

Ewald raised an eyebrow at Lyka's interference. He already felt like he wasn't being taken all that serious by the fact that they sent a student to investigate, which was worsened by the fact that it was clearly a novice. How could it turn out to be even worse? By having a novice that wasn't even capable of keeping their own spirit in check, it seemed.

Well, it didn't matter. Ewald knew about his own innocence, he only needed to convince the kid about it. "Don't worry, I'm not blaming you, I'm only blaming whomever gave you this task." Anyhow, it was time to answer the earlier questions. "She just rushed me. For as much as I hate her, I'm not claiming this was all a well-planned attack, it was probably just a 'heat of the moment' thing or something. It's probably why it caught me off-guard and why she managed to lodge my knife in her arm before I could figure out what was going on and respond. I mean, whom would expect someone to do something that stupid? It was a complete surprise. Those are tough to react to in time, regardless of your training."

Hm...yup, it definitely was just a hunk of metal.

As they began to approach the scene of the discovery, Suilen found herself a nice, comfortable rock to sit on, before tossing her bird up into the air. It squawked, then found its wings, beating them as it began to ascend. What to search for here...most likely the direction those people travelled. While her bird stabilized itself, Suilen snapped a couple of pictures of the Lacertan ship's hull, before closing her eyes. Three concentric halos manifested above her head, a psychic link forming between her own senses and those of her summon's. Suddenly, the world took on a different view, a different angle, everything becoming so much sharper and clearer. She whistled, and then the bird dove down, sweeping over the terrain around the hull in search for indentations in the grass and any other oddities, specifically for spots of blood or footprints indicating prior movement.

Hibiscus sighed, this talk wasn't going anywhere, so she decided to backtrack a bit, "Ok then... How long have the two of you known each other? Is there any reason you couldn't have shared the discovery of this? Or do the two of you have some sort of grudge going on? Also, how long have the two of you been working in your jobs?" After those questions were asked, Hibiscus would ask a few more, after writing down on her AMB module.

"Back to the questions I asked before this, what did the two of you do after your fight? Did either of you run away, or did you both run away? How exactly did you alert the police afterwards?"

Londo listened intently to the dialogue, "Alright, I can see where you're going with this." There was something that he found odd about the whole thing, but he kept quiet about it for now. After she finished speaking, Londo stood up triumphantly, and pointed to her, "OBJECTION!" Londo said pointing to the woman-.

"Eh, not really, I just wanted to say that! Anyways-" Londo said, sitting down, "I wanted to know who was the guy that healed your wound, we can talk to him too! Also you still haven't shown us your transformation. That'd be cool if you did!!" Londo said, writing down his various observations.

Rainer's question was answered in just about the most disappointing way possible for him. He was completely shut down... No scar meant no scar comparing, which meant nothing in common, which meant bad conversation... But then... a grand idea came around. "If they're healed... I just have to make new ones..." He said under his breath silently. This was an impeccable plan. It solved problem 1 and in turn solved every problem which came after, but for some reason, as if through the use of the 6th force, he realized that was a less than optimal idea, so he just looked at his spirit, with a melancholic look in his eyes, but he was still smiling, with his usual smile.

Upon hearing that Ahn didn't have much faith in God, he wondered if he should introduce her to one. His face lit up and he had a creepy smile on his face as he looked at her. For just those few moments, he even stopped glancing over at the doggy every few seconds, as he had done, up until now. He straight up looked at her for a solid minute or two without blinking, wondering when would be a good time to talk about our lord and savior Atziri.

Ryan was slightly surprised. Not even Essence was certain of where the alien item was. She proceeded to check around without looking, most likely using a spell for it. It took several attempts, but Essence managed to locate the ship, or rather, the piece of scrap metal protruding slightly from the ground. To be frank, Ryan was expecting a little more, but he was no scientist. He lacked the skills to see this metal plate as anything but that.
He noticed both Suilen and Elisa looking around already, so he got to work himself. Seeing as Suilen was checking around the plate, Ryan started a tad bit away from it. Looking for traces of out of place materials, such as make up, nail polish, or pieces of cloth, foot prints, blood marks, or signs of weapons being used... with the utmost caution of not stepping on possible pieces of evidence.
After doing a couple of rounds near Suilen, Ryan would check on the nearby rock formations, both above and below, and the spaces between them, including the one Essence was at.

Elisa

Elisa snatched the small treasure she managed to find. For a moment she looked at Essence going, thinking that it was probably a good idea to get a higher vantage point. Elisa would however return back at the airship and climb on top of it to enjoy the view. After completing the task, she would open her bag and eat her spare lunch while watching others do what they were doing. Observing the area in a relaxed manner.

"I see... If we could get the contact information for your other expedition members i'd appreciate it." Replied Ozymandius. He sounded as though he had just heard something interesting from the response, though if he did he did not reveal it. He'd wait until after Ahn gave a reply to Londo's most recent question before standing up and ending the recording. "Well that's enough for the interview. I don't suppose you'd consent to handing over your call and message history would you?" He asked politely while indicating her wrist. "It would help speed things along in the course of the investigation." He was certain that if he needed to he could obtain it without her consent, but it would make things far easier if she handed it over. The next stop would be the other members of Walahfrid's team.

@ERode Suilen @Valkan Ryan @Inaru-sama Elisa

As Suilen was using her bird look around, she'd find out a few things. From what was the most 'accessible' way towards where they were, it was highly likely that others would've traveled towards the hull remnants from the same direction as they had come from. Other paths were often a fair bit more steep or overgrown by slippery looking moss. She would also notice that the hull might have been visible from a fairly large distance due to it reflecting the sunlight in certain angles, but only to those with a high enough perception to spot those details from a distance. To the average person, you'd have to use some sort of magic or measuring tool, or to simply get pretty close to it, otherwise you wouldn't even realize it's there due to it's partially buried state.

Ryan, on the other hand, would notice a bit of dried-up blood and some foot-prints that were deep enough to suggest someone braced himself. The size of these footprints and the kind of print suggested sturdy combat/army boots and a size more likely to be worn by a male than a female. They were located in the general direction that they themselves had come from, so Ryan would've found them only after backing up a fair bit, and they would've easily been missed if you weren't specifically looking for them. It looked like the time and the weather had taken care of removing any more detailed evidence.

Except for one thing... Upon further inspection, what looked to be pieces some sort of plastic would be found in the nearby bushes. They were a simple black color, and the biggest part was about the size of a coin. They were scattered around in a pattern that seemed like they had broken off of something bigger, but it wasn't clear what it might have belonged too.

Captain Falcon Hawks

As Elisa climbed the airship, Falcon called out to her. "Hey, kid, you've been climbing all around the ship, right? Did you happen to see some bolts and screws? I could've sworn there were more of them, as I'm short a few on trying to get the left wall's plating screwed in sturdy enough not to shake loose. Normally, they shake loose and just roll towards the bottom of the ship, so I pick them up and screw them back in every now and then."

Ahn Walahfrid

Ahn could feel some shivers running down her spine as the creepy kid somehow got even creepier. She'd seen a fair lot of weirdo's and whatnot, especially during her time at the Academy, but she'd never really gotten used to it. The fact that this particular source of creepiness was as young as they were didn't help either. Somehow kids were always creepier when creepy. Maybe it was due to how you couldn't just shoot them, in case they were indeed as horrific as your imagination made them out to be?

In either case, it was the other kid that managed to snap her attention back. After all, his loud proclaim of 'objection' was pretty sudden. Upon asking for whomever healed her, she'd give him the number of some random yet-to-be-made NPC of someone at the Thaumaturgical Society. As for the second question; "I don't exactly like transforming, but if you insist..." Upon transforming, everything (excluding her overall build, but including hair style and color) turned to something a bit too 'stereotypical' for a 'magical girl' to be comfortable.

8uVyp23.png

"I've tried changing it, but it wouldn't work. I've got no clue why I end up looking like this, despite hating it." She had barely finished her sentence before she transformed back to normal.

Upon having done so, she looked at Ozy. "Sure." After a few presses of buttons, she sent him an official list of everyone involved with the expedition. None of the twenty-or-so names would stand out, as most were ordinary staff or hired security.

As for handing over her 'call and message' history... "There are Thaumaturgical Society research materials that are confidential in there, so I couldn't give you full access even if I wanted. All I can hand over is the ordinary stuff." If Ozy wanted it, he'd get a list of just that. The only thing of interest were messages to the earlier mentioned healer in the Thaumaturgical Society, which backed up her claim that she had visited them.

Ewald Themistocles

Ewald sighed, as the girl asked question to which he didn't see any purpose. Well, he'd probably be better off answering them anyway. "I've heard about her a years ago or so, although I forgot where I heard her name being mentioned. The first time I spoke to her was a few months back or so. Until then, we never had a reason to speak or meet, and most of the planning for the mission was through mail or short calls."

Upon the mention of 'sharing' the discovery, he got a bit agitated. "Listen. If this was an entire spaceship worth of technology, I wouldn't have mind sharing some, but it's only a relatively small fragment of the hull. The Thaumaturgical Society would just blast magic through it until it loosing any properties that make it unique. Most of them only value short-term gains like that. If she gets her hands on it, she might ruin what little we have to work with in her 'experiments'. Meanwhile, we've got highly modern equipment to thoroughly investigate this material, and to make the absolute most out of every inch of it. Think about what this knowledge could do for our own armies materials. We could make them far stronger or lighter." Although he was a bit heated up, he continued. "If that justified fear counts as a grudge, I guess we have one, yes. There's nothing personal, and I guess she's done some good things, but I don't want to entrust her with this. I've got no clue how long she's been working in her job, but she's a mage, so she probably rolled into it after leaving the Academy. Most people in the Thaumaturgical Society join it after finishing their time in the Academy."

After a brief pause, he continued. "As for myself, I've joined the Galileians after I transferred from the army. I've been here for almost two years now, and before that I've spend four years in the army corps of engineers, and before that I was a regular soldier for two years." [Enough information has been given IC for me to add the biography and personality OOC.] Ewald clearly seemed to take some pride in his career path.

Ewald raised an eyebrow when the girl claimed to be going back to earlier questions, as he was pretty sure she was asking nothing that she had previously asked. Like before, he figured it'd be best to just answer. "Of course not! I pointed out how stupid she was being. As if anyone would fall for such an attempt to frame me. Surely you realize how stupid it is, right? She's a mage, all she would have to do would be to 'zap' on her aura transformation, use her spirit or magic, and I'd be done for. How stupid would I need to be to attack her? I told her that straight to her face. I'll admit that wasn't the smartest, as she could've easily done exactly what I told her she could do, but instead she got angry at me for whatever idiotic reason. She was in the middle of ranting when some of the general staff from our expedition found us. They were also the ones whom reported this to both the Thaumaturgical Society and the Galileians."

Hibiscus wrote down what Ewald had been saying. So far she had a roughly detailed report on the situation:

Both walked into it at roughly the same time, Ewale claims he came into it first.

As he was calling to report it, Ahn attacked him to stop him.

He pulled out his knife (Maybe? He never exactly said he did)

Ahn took the knife and stabbed herself with it.

Ahn never transformed to silence Ewald. Possibly didn't want to murder him, or injure him in any way.

Other staff came and reported the incident too, but did not see what happened prior.

Misc. notes: Thaumaturgical society would likely destroy the research with magic, Ewald's motivation for not allowing them the ship. Ewald himself has been a soldier for over 6 years

Hibiscus finished writing most of the other stuff down, then spoke back up again, "Hmmm. I'll have to ask my team that's investigating Ahn what her story is. I don't know exactly how we can solve it, but I can't see anything wrong in your story. At least for now. M-Maybe someone else can. If there was anything I missed, my team might be coming back to ask your more questions... I-I'm really sorry about that, I hope it doesn't happen though... A-Anyways, thank you for your time! I hope you can be found innocent. If anything, you seem really happy about your work! Thank you!" Hibiscus said, then got up to shake his hand.

If he really had nothing else to say in pertaining to the investigation, Hibiscus would leave, and on her way out, she would ask Ruya, "Uuuu. That was hard... D-Did I do anything wrong there?..."
