If Yorik hadn't taken the time to talk to Ari, they might've still known each other. They did inhabit the same dorm. So... they might have spoken eventually. Ari didn't like what if's either... the moment you begin thinking about them, they seem to devour your mind and you start to believe that the what if is real. She felt Yorik squeeze her hand and she leaned her head against his shoulder after he did. Maybe she would have been with another man if they hadn't met. She felt herself cringe a bit at that idea, for she couldn't picture herself standing beside any other person besides Yorik. She didn't want to be with any other person but Yorik.
As he approached her with a shovel in hand, she tilted her head when she eyed the object. With a slightly raised eyebrow, she wondered, Why does he have a shovel...? Ari then shook her head, dismissing the thought and telling herself that she shouldn't question it. Not now... she decided that she would ask later. Once again, she slipped her hand into Yorik's and laced their fingers together, letting out a soft sigh of relief as their bodies connected again. "Shall we head to class?" She asked, reaching into her pocket once again to retrieve a paper schedule, unfolded it, then began inspecting the typed words.
