She dismissed the guards and came in on her own and the Joker raised his eyebrows. After last time he thought she'd ask for extra, but then again, he hadn't even tried coming after her... He rolled the thought around in his head, but he couldn't bring himself to the idea of attacking her just to make her fear him. It didn't strike him as fun at all.
She asked where he got the pie, "I alluded to the idea that I might... Visit the family of the guard outside my cell next time I get out. His wife bakes the best pies, and he's shared a slice or two with me when he was first stationed outside my cell in the hope that it would prevent me from killing me the next time I escaped. It worked because I know Batman always puts me back here and I wanted more pie next time that happened. I decided to see what would happen if I pushed. I hoped for a slice of pie the next day, but he's been bringing in whole pies for me the whole week. They keep him in front of my cell in the mornings pretty much for the same reason you're back here." He covered his mouth for a chuckle, wiping the flakes of crust that came off his lips on his pants.
"So, you can say I enjoyed my week more than you enjoyed yours, and I'm the one locked in here. Tell me doctor, does meeting a legend make his absence unbearable?" He teased.
