King Knight

After stating his initial orders to the spherely shaped golems in front of him, King Knight had begun to wait for a response aimed directly towards him and being led towards the master of this dungeon soon enough… and he waited… and he waited… and he- Yeah, they apparently seem to be extremely bad conservationists. Did the one who made them simply not give them the ability to speak? Oh how evil was that now… to make loyal servants that can speak with you so that they can respond when spoken to, especially when you are telling stories of your great exploits and many victories within the past,

And just when he was about to label it a lost cause speaking to sentient rocks it all things, and go through another way, it seemed like one of the golems actually began to approach him. Ah, it appears that he had managed to intimidate one to give up the location of the Wizard, and it seemed like it was getting closer. In fact, it floated just above his head a couple feet away. It must be simply going past him in order to show King Knight where to go next for the matter. Well, that was until it began to descend at a rapid pace, looking to crush him now. Jumping back with practices movement (yet still acting shocked), King Knight couldn't begin to exclaim how much these abominable creatures had attempted to attack him, without any warning or call to duel nonetheless!

Merely pointing his scepter forward, assuming a more aggressive pose as he prepared for combat, King Knight bellowed out once more.

"You ruffians dare try to attack King Knight without any call to duel as any other individual would do?! Such a horrid thing to do to another, especially one that is a King! Prepare yourselves, for I shall teach you a lesson you shall never forget in your rocky lifetimes!"

And with that, the battle has finally initiated!:

King Knight made his move directly after he had finished his call to combat, charging directly at one of the golem creatures, the very one that had attempted to crush him underneath its heavy rockyness. Giving a war cry to accompany his charge, King Knight went ahead to bash his shoulder against the golem at full force. Now, if he was a normal human being, his shoulder would have definitely pop and be aching all over now… but King Knight cannot be compared to those simple commoners. For not even the strong powerful armors of goldenarmors can stop King Knight's tackles for too long! But he didn't stop there, as King Knight began to twirl in the air after bashing off the rocky shadow, moving ahead to bounce on top of the head of the golem as well, and there is more. After comboing the tackle with a bounce, King Knight went ahead to begin bouncing on the top's of the other golems now, seeking to continue bouncing for as long as possible and deal as much damage as he can before he is stopped.

Oh man, that bimbo really made this crap too easy, didn't she?

Throughout Yang's show of worry, all Neo did was maintain her sweet, innocent smile. It was something she'd learned to do after watching her annoying sister for years on end. Ugh. What she'd give for her to be on the receiving end of Hush's blade right now... well, whatever. Her older sister would have to do. She reached behind that cape of her's, hand tightly gripping around Hush. She stood there, slowly drawing her umbrella, waiting for the perfect moment to strike...

And then, Yang turned to walk away. That was when Hush was fully drawn, and the Ruby disguise faded, leaving onto Neo. She ran forward, fully prepared to jam Hush deep into Yang's back, aiming to outright shatter her spine. She'd take Yang from Ruby... just like how she took Roman from he. An eye for an eye. Neo leaped into the air, Hush already being brought down with all of her might. She was so close to ending her life right then and there... so close...

But then, the light took the room. And Neo fell.

When the light faded, Neo was on the ground, her grip around Hush just barely maintained. She winced and slowly pulled herself up to her feet, instinctively adjusting the bowler had atop her head as she did so. Apparently they had some energy signature crap they had to find now. Neo didn't really care about that. The crowd of people had gathered now, and everyone was going off in different directions. She tried finding Yang... but it was no use. She wouldn't get her kill out in the open like this. Not without there being more complications than it was worth.

neo-neopolitan.gif

Damn it.

If Neo could let out a sigh, she would've. But instead, all she did was turn and walk off in the other direction, down the path to the East.

Neo had missed some of the fun, it seemed. She'd arrived just in time to see some tall blonde guy kicking a chest into a wall, shattering it instantly. Either that guy was very strong... or that wall was just pathetically weak. Either way, the sight interested Neo enough to proceed forward. Her smirk had returned to her face as she did so, Hush resting on her shoulder as she walked along the path. Some new paths had been presented before them thanks to the brute. She didn't even spare a passing glance to the chest, instead keeping her eyes focused on the man beside her.

She craned her head to the branching paths in front of them, and then looked back up at Diego. She maintained her smirk, before slowly outstretching her arm, gesturing Hush down the direction of the multiple paths. It was as if she was saying, 'After you'. With full intentions of following behind him, of course. He'd definitely prove to be more useful than the others, if this display was anything to go off of...

Orpheus cracked their knuckles as they then punched the Cowardly Maya sent towards him by Katerille to the ground. As they then looked at the Cowardly Maya's writhing in pain. "What you annoying bastards deserve." Orpheus says as they then crack their knuckles once again. "Alright, let's finish this!" Orpheus says as they get ready for an All-Out-Attack.

"Wah! Didn't see you there!" Kaito yelped as Adachi suddenly appeared out of the blue, prompting the colorful sharpshooter to shudder a bit, turning to see this average looking man in a disheveled suit. He seemed to pop up just in time just after Kaito spoke about seeing the Trenchcoat Girl's Persona. Coincidence? Perhaps. But the man has a point--nothing can get done if they just stand here talking! "You're right! Thanks, Adachi-san!" Kaito genuinely thanked the man with a mix of innocence and trust. As someone from another world, Kaito didn't really know how horrible of a man he actually is.

Still he looked around with Adachi--now that with Violet's encounter, there were now 3 paths made available to them. No use going south considering their goal's at the corner. While the northern path appeared to be a deadend, Adachi would've noticed a white crack on it. Looks pretty breakable.

    ...

    Wanna break it?

"Let's see, if this place is a square, and I just bonked my head on the wall over there, then that means...AH! OVER THERE!" Kaito glanced at the split path where he came from, soon turning straight ahead to see--"We can get to the corner through there!" Kaito says, pointing at the split path dead ahead. The wall over there didn't have the golden mural--instead, it's red. Looks like it's the very walls of the place. "Let's go! FULL ON FULL POWER!!" Charging again without another moment of thought, Kaito rushed towards his sought out route, running ahead at Full Power.

I think he did it enough times to establish that Kaito's indeed the village idiot.

The masked rocks simply let out a rather shrill-like roar as they broke their wall formation, surrounding the gilded King as he declared combat. The rocks were slightly inconvenienced by King Knight's spinning pirouettes, bouncing from one rock to another--which proved to be a mistake, as the rocks began to crack bit by bit.

It was then that as one of the rocks were defeated, disintegrating into mist, one of the remaining 5 rocks rammed into the King, sending him flying towards a wall where, surprising even the King Knight, there seems to be another brawl happening. A group of about 6 duking it out against...Masked Slime?!

The Batman's flurry went through much flawlessly than before. In fact, only now is he dealing more damage than his own bombs--does it have to do with the fact that he's hitting the creature's more humanoid part more than its pedestal?

However, it soon straightened itself as Batman retreated. The mask's eyeholes glowing as Batman found the floor he's standing on heating up--if Batman fails to dodge, then he'll be engulfed in a pillar of flames!

At the moment, Tayaka slowly rubbed his eyes.. getting up off the ground as he looked to see... Tartarus. Again. At that, they sigh. "As much as I hate to admit it, I can see why the kid hated this place. Now I'm starting to agree with that damned brat.. wherever he is, I'll find him." Tayaka says to himself quietly as he then notices a few.. strange beings. As much as he'd rather just kill them and call it a day.. they're probably confused as he is. "..I take it you've.. never seen someone like me?" Tayaka says, strangely polite to the beings.. but he's confused as to why the taller one out of them is pointing a spear at him. At the question, they'd.. admittedly draw a blank. The figure can see that.

"..What I am? Good.. question there. I wish I knew the answer to that myself, in all honesty. I did.. once. Now, I'm.. let's just say lost." Tayaka says, being honest with the figure with the spear as he keeps his hands away from his revolver and pockets. Making sure not to try any sudden moves. Hell, to take on 4 opponents at once right now is not the best of ideas.. especially if you don't know what they can do. The kid taught him that much..

Vengeance.

That was the word that defined The Batman. Vengeance. He'd been a symbol of that word. The face every criminal would look into and know true fear. The scum of Gotham would understand the vengeance of The Batman every time they saw that very symbol. It was a symbol of fear. When the common mugger stops to think twice before robbing that lady, that is fear. That is what he is.

But... that wasn't it.

The Batman was not just a symbol of fear. He was something more. After Gotham had nearly been destroyed by The Riddler, he knew that he couldn't just be vengeance. Fear was what criminals sought to accomplish. Pure fear. Power over people's minds. That wasn't the effect Bruce wanted. Crime hadn't gotten any better since he started two years ago - in fact, one could say that it had only gotten worse. Gangs still run rampant through the streets... and while Falcone was no longer in control, it was only a matter of time before another monster took his place. Someone who was arguably worse.

He couldn't just rule the city through fear. He had to give the people something to cling onto as well. The good, innocent people of Gotham. The everyday man and woman trying to feed their child. He couldn't just be a symbol of fear and vengeance. He had to be something more... something more tangible.

giphy.gif

The Batman had to be a symbol of hope, just as much as he was a symbol of fear.

This tower was endless.

At least, that's how it seemed from the bottom.

It had all happened so fast. One second, Gotham had been standing there. And the next... well, the next, it hadn't. Bruce had found himself in this tower, surrounded by tons of individuals he didn't recognize. He'd clung to the shadows for the most part, analyzing the goings on. For the most part, the ones who'd been summoned here were teenagers. Children. They were mostly half his age - if that. There were exceptions to the rule, of course. One guy in a messy suit and tie, who looked like your average GCPD officer. But other than that... they were pretty much all the same.

Though, one stuck out above the rest.

4vTj.gif

Another Batman. And he clearly wasn't just a fan, either. His suit was professionally made... though it was just different enough for him to not be a carbon copy of him. It looked like it was made of a different material than his suit. His suit was more of metal and compact than this other Batman's. His suit seemed to be bulkier... yet more adaptive. It was a curious sight, indeed.

The way he carried himself was all too similar to him as well, for it to be a coincidence. This guy clearly went beyond being some inspired fan. So... what was he? Batman thought back to what had occured back in Gotham - before he had arrived in this tower. Matter displacement... chaos... darkness...

The realization hit him like a truck.

The Multiverse.

It had been an idea he'd entertained once or twice - but never enough to put any major thought into it. His concerns had been with Gotham. What happened outside of it mattered very little. But now he'd been plunged into its center without much warning. Forced to adapt to it, so he could save Gotham from whatever was happening. Had this happened to the other Batman's Gotham as well, then? Was he even from Gotham? Hell, was he even Bruce Wayne?

Batman didn't know.

All that was certain was that whatever was happening, this tower had something to do with it.

So, for now, he remained in the shadows. Watching everyone - but keeping his gaze focused on this other Batman above all else. When the time was right, he'd introduce himself. But that would have to come later.

But later was sooner than he thought. Because before long, a light had enveloped the room, taking Batman along with it.

Four paths. Four energy signatures. They needed them to progress.

Bruce didn't stop to think about the specifics of the situation. He had a job to do. Everyone seemed safe for now - which was good. If he could help it, then he'd make damn sure as many people got out of this mess unharmed as possible. The other Batman went down the South path, alongside some others. Saying nothing, Bruce headed down that path as well, following just enough behind the group to not be noticed by the others.

SCHING!

thwump.

In the midst of the other Batman's fight, a metal object would come flying in, bearing an all too familiar insignia. It struck the Shadow right in its mask, and if Bruce's aim was correct, it'd have embedded itself in its eye-hole. This thing was hardly human... hell, he doubted it was even alive. The Batarang in question would remain buried in its desired target for only a short, fleeting moment...

BOOM!

Before it detonated, right in the Shadow's face. If Bruce's theory was correct, hopefully this would stop whatever was heating up the floor, as well as defeat the Shadow creature in the process.

"Don't mention it," Adachi replied, just managing to maintain his facade of a friendly, dorky smile. Ugh. He hated having to spin this 'polite cop' crap again. But... if he wanted to get out of here with as little conflict as possible, he'd have to bite the bullet on some of it. Working entirely alone clearly wouldn't be an option, and the last thing he wanted was to get locked in some bickering match with a literal child. That'd just be counter-intuitive as hell at that point.

His time looking around seemed to have led him to some cracked wall. Adachi was the first to approach it, having pulled out his gun as he did so. He wasn't about to shoot it - no, he was smarter than that. But there was no reason to use his Persona, either. Nor did he wanna risk injuring his hand by straight up punching the crack. Pistol whipping was the only logical course of action here, really. Not even offering a sparing glance to the others, Adachi raised his gun high above his head, preparing to bring it down upon the wall in front of him...

Only to stop mid-swing, after hearing the kid scream something at the top of his lungs. And then Adachi turned around... only to see him rushing off in the other direction.

"H-hey! Kid! Get the hell back here! You don't know what's down there!"

But it was too late. The damn brat had run off down some path, without an inkling of an idea of what could lie ahead. Great. Astounding, really. Here Adachi was, trying to keep a level head and problem solve his way out of this, and this little twerp had run off without a care in the world. Adachi let out a sigh. Like hell he'd be playing babysitter for this moron. He wasn't his father, and Adachi wasn't really keen on acting like it, either. The man grumbled, before turning to other brat and the edgelord.

"You two go make sure that the kid doesn't get himself killed. I'll stay back here and investigate this wall."

It was a good excuse to be left alone, at least. Regardless of what they did, though, Adachi would just shake his head and turn back to the crack in the wall. Without another word, he raised his gun again, before bringing it down on the wall, hoping to shatter it.

As smacking the wall down with Adachi's gun was indeed the quickest way to find out that it led to the same Wall Kaito found. It seems that this may actually lead to the corner he's headed for, too.

That, or maybe he could slack off and sneak off eastbound...

". . .I see." The Masked Creature lowered his guard, albeit slightly. The malice he felt--similar to the tragic Dark Heroes he had fought against and made peace with. "Then why don't you join us?" He approached the man slowly, cautiously, yet with the air of regality and divinity. "Together, we may find a way out of this dastardly labyrinth." He offered, arm stretched out with his ball-like hand opened.

The man with the alien watch had found himself in a rather unique pickle. Instead of saving kidnapped victims, he's the one being kidnapped--or was that all too true for Sol?

Regardless, the man now finds himself in a bloody maze of some kind. Two paths laid. One southbounc, and a deadend by the west. Though, fortunately, there was a chest for his trouble.

    What would he do?

Batman's Batarang landed right where it needed to--the monster's eyes proved to be the means to cast some sort of spell. Well, it's more like a trigger to a gun, and what Batman did had indeed stopped the floor from spewing out hot flames.

But...Batman didn't throw that Batarang, did he? No. It's the other Batman--a Bruce Wayne from another universe. Similar in story, yet different in many ways.

Now the Batmen stand against the beast sitting atop a floating pedestal, clutching its eye, unable to cast any more of its magick...!

The Saiyan eyed the crowd and frowned Tch... they opened the door to whatever lies above." He found himself oddly avoiding the urge to fight anyone around the floor. He was silent as his scouter immediately tracked power signatures as he lifted off the ground, following the crowd up the stairs.

It led to four directions.

East, West, South, or North

The Saiyan's scouter looked around, feeling energy levels from all over. This tower seemed to have several enemies of some sort, just at varying energy levels.

North it was then.

The Saiyan would let the North direction move him.

As the twins snicker away, they again pause. That feeling -- again! Whoever's doing this is asking for pain, and once they find out who it is...

It's enough of a pause that they barely even process Orpheus' words. The pair can at least tell they're annoyed, which is really the point. They don't care much about what they have to actually say, but if they're annoyed, it's enough for them to just as quickly recover their all too smug grins. It does mean they don't actually have an answer, but...

Ah, it doesn't matter. There's that light again. Is the world about to end again? It'd get rid of that annoying thing that keeps trying to look into their heads, so they can't find themselves complaining. Onto the next one, then...

Ayaha comes to first, though, it's not really coming to: it's just processing the new scenery. "We got moved again, Oto. This must be..."

"The next floor. That's right, Aya." Otoha nods. When one understands, they both do. That's just how this works. "Are they toying with us? Or this a not a they at all?"

"Whatever it is, we'll crush it beneath our heel and rub it into dust!" Nothing and no one has the right to move them like that. Trying to exert control over them is contesting their eternal freedom, and that cannot be forgiven. "And then we'll make our own toys out of it. Let's go!"

"Eenie, meenie, minie... moe!" Otoha instantly sprints westward, practically bounding off the floor with Ayaha following shortly behind. "Kya ha ha! You sure are eager!" "I just know there's going to be all kinds of fun this way! Eh heh heh!" They laugh away, without a care in the world, until they catch up with what looks like a few others and very disabled little... things.

"It's playtime!"

Without a care for those already facing them, the twins dive into action, blazing blades at the ready, a frenzied flurry of excited blows with sparks of flame lightly pushing outward with every strike.

Then they stop, on the opposite side they'd come from. With a little twirl, they grin, and slap their free hands together-

"Strike down the unsightly!"

And from those errant sparks do great towers of flame grow to consume the poor slimy things that were simply too ripe to take.

...Then they simply keep running on ahead without a care in the world, trying to find yet more twists and turns to travel down with those innocent smiles ever present on their faces.

"And just how the hell did ya figure that one?" Adachi asked Penny dryly, his amused expression having disappeared the instant that she opened her mouth and replied. Was everyone here an idiot? He really hoped that these weren't the kinds of morons he'd be having to deal with - otherwise he'd have to do all the damn work himself before long. But from the looks of things... Adachi really wasn't gonna hold his breath.

Luckily for him, the girl's attention span seemed to be about as reliable as her common sense, and she ran off before even finishing the conversation. Some dumbass little kids were getting into trouble over by the bookshelf. Figures She'd been with some taller looking blonde girl... who was dragged away but a shorter girl before she could make any sort of conversation. At least he'd have some peace and quiet now. Maybe he could try and piece together more of what was going on, now that annoying brats weren't asking him dumbass questions.

From there, the scene only seemed to get worse. Adachi didn't interfere, though. No way was he about to involve himself in this childish bullshit. All this really did was solidify his beliefs that the people he'd be working with were entirely incompetent. Everyone was losing their damn minds over the simplest shit. He'd be surprised if they even made it to the next floor in one piece.

Adachi wouldn't have very long to dwell on the matter, though. Because before long, the room was absorbed in some kind of light. Adachi instinctively raised his hand and stumbled back, only to reappear in the new room alongside everyone else. He'd sat there in the back, with his hands in his pockets. Apparently, they had some kind of energy signatures to find or some crap. A glorified fetch quest, basically. The world had ended, and the powers that be were sending them on a fetch quest.

Why the hell wasn't he surprised?

Well, whatever. Adachi let out a sigh and shook his head as he watched the group. His eyes remained focused on Katrielle mostly. He kept his face blank, though to anyone who was really paying attention to Adachi for whatever reason, they'd find that his eyes had widened ever so slightly. The girl had summoned a Persona - broad as day. In front of everyone here, just like that. Adachi wanted to say he was surprised that other Persona users were here... but really, it wasn't that shocking. Who the hell else would you summon when the world went and ended, after all? Well... freaks in fursuits, apparently. But that was beside the point.

They were presented with four paths. The Persona girl had gone down the West one. The East and South ones had plenty of freaks heading down there's as well... Adachi sighed. Guess North was the only reasonable option, huh?

Adachi had arrived a bit later than everyone else. He was intentionally dragging his feet, not wanting to put up with whatever the other guys were dealing with. From the sounds of things, it wasn't anything he wanted to get involved with. Still, he wound up reaching his destination before long. When he got down there, he noticed a few things. Some edgelord, some brat in a mask, and one of those loud kids from earlier. And they were talking about Personas. Great.

Tohru_Adachi_P4G.png

"Well, those energy signatures won't be found by just standin' around, right?" Adachi would ask with a friendly smile as he walked up alongside the group, hand shoved down in his pocket all the while. As much as he hated it, he knew he'd have to be the one to take initiative here. If he wanted any chance at returning his home to normal so he could just serve out the rest of his damn sentence in peace, he knew he couldn't just sit on his ass the whole time. Especially not with these dumbass kids around. They'd never get anywhere with them leading the charge. "Name's Tohru Adachi. You kids just hang tight - this'll be over before you know it."

With that said, Adachi looked around for anything of interest.

"watch who you are calling kid, kid." skalus retorted, not giving a rat's ass if he heard or cared. while he was busy looking for something, she just walked into the path after kaito, not because she was commanded to but because someone had to look after that boy. the man who entered may be all smiles and friendly but she can feel his hate all the same, so the charade was pretty much useless and he had a very bad vibe. besides she could sense anything coming at her.

Shiki's eyes saw the cracks in the shadow creatures. That's a good thing.

That meant their concepts of death weren't too complicated for her to break down.

Despite seeing them though, she decided to sit back and watch this out. It seemed the two in front had it all handled. Gun gun was practically laying onto them with his weapon, and soon afterwards, the blonde lady shot some lasers out from her eyes onto them, setting the slimes on fire. A heat-based eye-ray? Interesting. Guess she wasn't the only one with Mystic Eyes here.

Before anyone else could finish them off, the two troublesome twins from before quite literally dashed by them, attacking and striking at the creatures. She took note of the little bits of fire glancing off their blades. Was it just the result of them already being alit? That was broken by their next action, as they slapped their hands, and burst the creatures into a great blaze, instantly incinerating them.

Interesting. All very interesting. They were messing with fire before, so they probably had some form of pyromancy. There were quite a lot of dangerous people here. At the very least, she had time to watch their little magic show, just in case she needed to cut a fireball later.

Adachi didn't even bother paying any mind to Skalus' response. He wasn't about to get into some dick measuring contest with a woman who clearly thought having some spooky dark cloak made her hot shit. She sure was tough, calling him a kid like that and then walking off. He really was intimidated.

Please.

Well, anyways, he had more important things to worry about. His eyes focused on the path in front of him - the one that'd been revealed by the wall. Adachi squinted as he holstered his gun, taking a single cautious step forward in the process. It was only then that he stopped in place, before turning around. Back toward the other path that the others had run down. It didn't take him very long to piece two and two together, and when he did, he immediately frowned.

8ebqhy2n1ns51.png

"C'mon... seriously?"

Adachi let out a low sigh. The damn paths just looped back around and led to the same place! God, the world had gone to shit, and here he was, screwing around in some dumbass tower. Figures that this was what the almighty would have him do. Just waste his time in this place. Maybe he'd actually died and this was just his personal hell? It'd explain why everyone he'd met thus far was even more obnoxious than those brats back in Inaba...

Well, whatever. The others seemed to be focused on running down that path. They'd figure out that it looped around sooner or later - and Adachi wasn't exactly keen on following them to do so. He already knew where their path led, so why bother? So, he turned on his feel, facing the only pathway that hadn't been traveled yet - East. He might as well get a head start while they screwed around in their own dead end.

So, with his newfound goal in mind, Adachi began to head down the East pathway.

To say Margarita felt irritated, really, was an unerstatement. There was nothing the girl hated more than someone meddling with her goals. She was just about to talk to the crying child, when that light engulfed her whole and she found herself in the middle of a room with four paths and the staircase locked. She noticed the blood dripping from the walls, her first istinct trying to gather some of it, after all, everything could be useful. However, she lacked anything that could even be partially used as a makeshift vial. The only useful thing she had was her small pen knife, but releasing her seventh Child and giving sleep anyone in the room would be... conterpoductive, to say the least.

Judging by some of the weird, misfortunate characters she found herself to be companions with, she wasn't even sure they would die.

With the entrance cut off and only four ways to go, the group was already dividing itself. Again, she cursed herself for having nothing more than her clothes and a knife on her back, in a situation like this, it was better to have something that could be used as a sort of Ariadne's thread.

Despite feeling the uneasiness growing inside of her the more she pondered about this situation, she knew she had no choice but to go somewhere. 'South it is, then'

Batman gave his other a version a brief look before using his cape to negate the effects of the explosion. Though it didn't kill the creature, it stunned it long enough to act. Wrapping god arms around its head, he jerks his arms and twists the monsters stone neck all the way around at a 180 degree angle.

Solstice would open his eyes and slowly stand up after being knocked unconscious while running from cops and his collapsing world. "What is this strange place.. I do admit it is a interesting area but my question still stands." Solstice would swivel his head around analyzing the place. "An obvious trap, and a continuous path.." Solstice looks down the dead end. "Well, there'd be no pain in checking it out." Solstice would slowly walk down the dead end and towards the chest without a care in the world.

Walking along, the solider took his own gun and held it down, quickly loading it before moving toward the
South area. Catching up slowly and walking only got him closer to a solider type unfamiliar at the moment but also some sort of talking spider, and a man in some sort of armor.

He was watching the distance as others began to split off.

Spawn kept his distance from the group and kept himself invisible at the moment. He was thinking at the moment as he much rather take the harder path at the moment.

Spawn was looking around on and off but he still had bits and pieces of memories plague his mind. He wasn't sure what to expect coming around the corner at the moment

King Knight

Ah, his signature move within combat, the good ole 'targe n' twirl', one of the first moves he had the pleasure of expanding upon and training ever since he was a little kid who first got the idea of becoming a King. Throughout his years of practicing his attack, that performing such is simply a reflex by now, and still manage to make it a elegant sight to behold by others is certainly what makes him proud of this very move. And the very fact that the rocky creatures seem to be mesmerized by his eye-catching attacks goes to show that he certainty knocked their metaphorical socks off without even resorting to his best!

Certainly that was the reason why they weren't even moving to attack now, going so far as to let one of their comrades be turned to nothing but dust right in front of them! Well, that was at least his initial thought, until one of the rocky golems went ahead and slammed into his chest while in the middle of continuing his attacks, being sent all the way back to a wall, slamming against it. Luckily, his cape managed to act as a cushioning to soften the blow, leaving him to only land onto his feet. However, while any other individual would have noticed the fighting noises occurring nearby, or even reacted to the pain of being hit by a man-sized rock… King Knight did something else entirely!

"My golden breastplate! It might have been scratched!"

King Knight yelled out, as he frantically checked the state of the front of his armor now. However, it appears that his concerns over the state of his armor of all things was thankfully a overstatement… as it seemed like he was in fine condition. Only giving a sigh of relief over not having to find a way to remove scratches on his armor within a place like this, King Knight merely refocused his attention at the fight at hand, giving a war cry as he charged straight towards the golems, intending on teaching them a lesson like he did the other rock. Except, well, he wasn't stupid enough to simply just charge straightforward and have him get simply tackled again. He was a King who knows strategy after all, and he intends on using said knowledge!

Jumping into the air, King Knight raise a fist as he charged a heft looking punch, before coming straight back down and slamming the floor. Said floor, and even walls began to shake, the corridor being slightly moved about by the shockwave of his landing, and what did this slam attack did? Why, it went ahead to paralyze the rock creatures in their tracks… allowing the King Knight to go right up ahead to one in his kingly stride, before holding his scepter like a baseball bat, and yelling

"Forward you go now!"

Before slamming his scepter into the side of one of the rocks, sending it catapulting forward directly into the path of the others. If he was lucky enough, then he could take down all of them with merely a single strike from his swinging arm. It's like the saying goes, kill 4 rocks with one similarly sized rock creature.
