CO-GM NEEDED!!

-------

IC Thread

-------

1. No GMing. We don't want any Mary-Sues or Gary-Sues

2. Maximum of 3 Active Characters per person. Any more needs approval by a GM

3. Characters can and WILL die, but please ASK somebody before you attempt to kill their character rather then just say "Your guy is dead."

4. Keep it PG-13!! Romance and Lovey-Dovey stuff is fine, as well as the occasional innuendo, but take smut scenes to PM, please. Also, violence is allowed, but please don't rip out a guys entrails and hold them above his head while he slowly dies. We're not monsters (but some of us are aliens :3)

5. Some scenes will be time skipped if they drag on too long/get too boring, but most of the time we will RP things through.

6. Each member of the RP will eventually become a member of the small group of adventurers who save the galaxy :3

7. Your character cannot have any GM abilities. I'll point out what is considered "okay" and what is considered "GM" once the character sheet is up.

8. Post at least two paragraphs each time (more is fantastic)

9. GM posts will be announced (these include plot movers, special events or even the death/introduction of a new character)

10. If you got this far, here's a cookie *hands cookie* also, include your favourite Sci-Fi quote in the "Other" section of your character sheet (once the template is posted, of course)

11. Please make PvP combat fair. It really sucks when somebody unleashes their ultimate power and freezes the other person's foot to the floor, then proceed to just punch the crap out of their immobile opponent. In addition, GM moves will NOT be allowed inside PvP combat unless approved/announced in a GM event.

12. Enjoy the RP to the best of your ability!!

-------

The story will follow the group as they meet up (in the original RP, it was a wedding, but this can be modified for the sake of a new story). From there, we will launch into a full out Galactic adventure that will take us to various worlds, force us to participate in multiple dangerous activities, and most importantly, help us find the source of a new plague sweeping the galaxy known as "The Great Poison". There will be drama, romance, action, space battles, droids, nerdy references, and many more!

The universe in which this takes place is original, meaning we can create worlds and areas of our own. We will probably borrow a few things from science fiction works such as Star Wars or Battlestar Galactica (for potential designs of ships, robots, aliens, and the occasional reference such as the cantina band song), but the majority of stuff involved with this RP should and will be original.

You can play a multitude of characters: Aliens, Humans, Robots (or "Droids"), Cybernetic Lifeforms, or even sentient Computer Software/A.I. lingering around in a robotic body. The possibilities are endless. Feel free to create your own alien species and planet to go with it, the galaxy is a huge place filled with endless possibility.

Also, don't feel restricted with your characters. In past versions of this RP, there was a Royal character (the Princess of Agerna) who was part of the main group. Don't just feel like you should be some kind of Bounty Hunter or generic Smuggler. You can be the head of an intergalactic weapons manufacturing company, a robot-vigilante who acts like the Batman of a crime filled planet, or even a Slave-Girl/Boy who wishes to be free from their master's clutches. Go wild on the characters! The more variety, the more interesting the stories can become!

If you have an original alien race you'd like to go ahead with and use, please send me some info about them via a PM. I have some species I've created for the world of Exoria, but I'm always open to hear about yours!

-------

We'll be accepting up to eight players. You may may have up to three characters (if you can handle it, that is).

You can also Adopt certain NPC's as a main character if you want. These NPC's will have an actual character sheet, but it will only contain very vague information which has been already covered in the RP. The rest is up to you.

1.) Maarcuu Roinoush - Sora1297

2.) Sylpheria Zera11 "Sylphie" / Xagorith Zera11 "Zha'Ven" - Ryder

3.) Rann Tonno - Razilin

4.) Howl / Cypress / Tyrra - ShiningMist

5.) Callum Leary - Harper

*Note: this will be expended as a new species is introduced in the IC or the OoC. Most species we come across in the IC will have brief explanations (due to them being NPC's and allowing for us to expand the information), but a player-created species used for a certain character, will have a much longer explanation.*

Human Beings

f8f08cb8c5cc01779f90a46d110ba5b6-d57jnwu.png

Humans, taxonomically referred to as Homo sapiens, were the galaxy's most numerous and politically dominant sentient species with millions of major and minor colonies galaxywide. Believed to have originated on the galactic capital of Nexxonis, they could be found anywhere, engaged in many different pursuits: spacers, mercenaries, smugglers, merchants, soldiers, assassins, farmers, crime lords, laborers, slaves, slavers, and many others. Since Humans were the most common sentient species, they were often considered to be a standard or average to which the biology, psychology, and culture of other species were compared.

Anamantian's

filename_by_herbomanic12-d89tdez.jpg

Anamantian's, like human beings, have very humble roots in the galaxy. The first Anamantian's were originally born as a result of a mixed breeding program between Human beings and the animal-resembling "Tyuu". The Tyuu were on the verge of extinction and desperately sought out a method for rapid reproduction, leading them to participate in inter-species dating. Mostly, the Tyuu focused on procreating with human-beings (due to their similar reproductive systems) and after a few generations, the first Anamantian was born. The name, "Anamantian", is a compilation of the words "Animal", "Man", and "Combination". Needless to say, the species was named by a rather unintelligent Human scholar, but the name seemed to stick.

Androids/"Droids"/Robots

Robot_by_sid.jpg

Created by a multitude of species spread out throughout the Xenayar Galaxy, Droids (sometimes also 'droids, short for androids, or robots), were robots: mechanical beings, often possessing artificial intelligence. They were used in a variety of roles and environments, often those considered too menial or too dangerous for humans and other species. Droids were also used in fields that required extensive specialization and knowledge, such as medical droids and astromech droids.

Depending on the model and its corresponding purpose, droids were totally obedient, rugged, expendable, capable of vast memory recall, and mathematically precise. These characteristics made them well suited for many jobs, though the lack of independent thought in the cheaper, less advanced models limited their capability. This lack of autonomy was simultaneously a vast asset and a glaring weakness—an asset in terms of obedience and control but a massive drawback in terms of effectiveness. Designers faced a fundamental paradox—make the droids overly intelligent, and they might rebel; yet make the droids not intelligent enough and they would be ineffectual.

Customarily, droid names were an arrangement of numbers and letters. Some are given actual names, but for the most part, many droids are given "designation numbers".

List of Droid Types (that would actually be useful in the RP as characters):

• Assassin droids
• Astromech droids
• Battle droids
• Interrogation/torture droid
• Medical droids
• Pilot droids
• Protocol droids
• Scout droids
• Espionage droids
• Human replica droids
• Navigation droids
• Tracker droids
• Security droids
• Service droids
• Slicer droids
• Training droids

Sha'Ni

draenei_by_linnabear-d5kzhrc.png

The Sha'Ni species is a peaceful race, much like the Yarrl. They are similar to the Yarrl in many respects, being that they both protect and have a love for the natural world. Unfortunately for the Sha'Ni females, they are considered one of the most attractive creatures in the galaxy, meaning they are more then often forced into slavery or jobs in which very little clothing is required. The Sha'Ni species developed and mutated in such a way as to provoke changes in their skin pigmentation, which resulted in many races and subraces. These races were all physically identical, except for their skin color. The wide and vivid variety of skin coloration included many variations of blue, red, yellow, orange, deep green, white, pale brown, pink, and lavender. Some Sha'Ni even exhibited varied phenotypes, including stripes, orange with red mottling, red with pink palms, and blue with pink lips.

There was not an even distribution of skin colors across the Sha'Ni population. The Lethan Sha'ni, red in coloration, were a rare subgroup, perhaps even the most rare. In contrast, the Titian Sha'Ni, which exhibited a blue phenotype, were more common among the population.

Yarrl

just_another_alien_by_insanity_engine-d2kcpxh.png

Yarrl are large, insect-like creatures who preserve and protect nature. They have very strong ties with the natural balance of things on Kreelog and are often associated with being "Guru's" or "Healers". They have evolved to harness the healing and regenerative abilities of nature, which in turn has forced them to be a rather peaceful species when compared to the monstrous (and carnivorous) creatures of their home planet, Kreelog.

Queronian (sub-species of Droid)

filename_by_herbomanic12-d8aiu32.jpg

Queronian is a robotic-type race that closely relates to the androids most people know, however, this race has inhabited it's own world for practically eons. Their true origin is completely lost, leading some to believe that these machines existed from the beginning.

But what truly makes the Queronian race unique, is their means of adaptation and development of sub-races. Much like the humans creating machines, the Queronian have undergone biological developments, creating creatures to serve themselves. What's more, upon introduction to the numerous races about the universes, they came to not only change the world, but themselves to adapt to the new life.

Due to their rather advanced Bio-engineering, the Queronian race actually began to merge organic tissue within their systems. Though this did drastically lower the lifespan of each given individual, it did add cultural benefits, and allowed them to be viewed as more than just machines. As such, it is not uncommon seeing a member of this race with a human face, or alien tissue , sometimes even a combination of multiple races.

The AI integrated into the Queronian is always expanding, and currently offers no less than a soul. Each individual is fully capable of emotions, independent thought, and even treason.

Reproduction is a rather peculiar subject regarding the Queronian race. Due to their being no true 'children' of the race, the practice of raising an individual is slightly, different. Individuals who chose to carry their knowledge into the future develop a core (Nicknamed, 'heart' by humans, merely to relate). A core is used to store all information the unit has acquired over their existence, and with late practices, is a product of two units. The 'parent' units develop and fit the new technologies onto the core creating it's limbs and general physical form in a sense, allowing it to 'grow' though inactive. The true sense of 'parenting' comes from the activation of the core. Seeing as errors, instabilities, and random malfunctions are likely to occur, it is the parent unit that is responsible to develop the new frame to properly function. Though most 'inherited memories' are lost during this phase, a number do remain.

Ready-to-use weaponry is quite limited to the Queronians, seeing as when required it is generally directly mounted onto the frame. As such, their weaponry is very rarely seen wielded by other races, just as they are never seen wielding another races' weaponry due to incompatibility.

Tevian

deep_one_rising_by_dragon_bat-d7illui.jpg

Tevians are an amphibious race from their homeworld of Tevia. A planet comprised mostly of water with only sparse land masses that are insufficient to support colonies of those not aquatically gifted. The Tevians are humanoid in appearance, although bearing skin tones of various shades of gray, blue, and green. Their fingers and toes are webbed and their limbs and backs have fins to help propel them through their ocean home. They are also know for their strong sense of smell, both in and out of water. In terms of self defense, the Tevians are gifted with a strong bioelectric field that allows them to sense prey and release high voltages in order to paralyze or kill.

Adscion (sub-species of Droid)

filename_by_herbomanic12-d8aiv9e.jpg

A fully mechanical and artificial species who value harvesting resources and trading above all else. Their origin is classified and kept secret, but they've been on the outer rim of the galaxy and even in dark space far before they were first contacted.

Generally the Adscions are respected but rarely trusted; their willingness to trade anything with anyone has gained them more enemies than allies, as they will likely sell their allies' secrets and plans quite easily for a fair price. Their trade policies also allow their lands to be infested with uncontested pirates and marauders; as long as they pay their rent and do not attack Adscions, the pirates are free to travel anywhere in Adscion territory unharassed. And of course, if a better deal crops up, the Adscions are known to betray their allies in favor of the more productive campaign. Cold and moralless robots who devour planets and suns alike to fuel their industrial supermachine, that is the general perspective of the Adscions.

The Adscions themselves are gigantic factories that have completely devoured and replaced the planet they reside on. Every planet is a single Adscion, and they interact with their world through drones and machines the planetary factory constantly pumps out. There may be exceptions, such as an Adscion in the form of a battleship that is used as a mobile command center in times of war, but that is few and far between. Generally when one converses with an Adscion drone, they are conversing with an entire planet and all its inhabitants, giving Adscions the illusion of carrying a bit more weight with their words and influence than the typical ambassador and further increasing their already foreign and frightful image.

The Adscions are decades behind in technology, but that doesn't mean they are weak. Their craft are streamlined; oxygen, crew quarters, food and water, bridge controls, consoles, passageways… all of that required for organic crew is replaced with more weaponry, better engines, thicker armor, larger cargo holds, etc. While their spacecraft are far superior to anything of similar technological design, their technology is so far behind that it is of negligible improvement compared to other, more modern civilizations. On that note, Adscion personnel weaponry is severely underwhelming due to a couple of critical factors, the main being that the Adscions themselves do not use small arm weaponry and they must be designed for organic handling, something the Adscions have no experience with. Their weapons are dirt-cheap, however, and robust enough to endure any atmosphere, environment, or gravity without complications.

Above all else, though, the Adscion industrial supermachine is a nightmare unlike any other, capable of creating obscene numbers of craft, warmachines, weapons, transports, and any other thing they deem necessary in very small amounts of time. The Adscions went to war only once long before they met the Humans and other organics. The debris field from that devastating war still exists today, a dense Wall of metal scraps and space vessel carcasses that destroy any and all who try going through it.

And more, coming soon!

Anamantian

Brief Explanation of Species:

Anamantian's, like human beings, have very humble roots in the galaxy. The first Anamantian's were originally born as a result of a mixed breeding program between Human beings and the animal-resembling "Tyuu". The Tyuu were on the verge of extinction and desperately sought out a method for rapid reproduction, leading them to participate in inter-species dating. Preferred Weapon(s):

A BlasTech Industries DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol

and his retractable claws/sharp teeth. He also has a passion for energy blades (one of which he will acquire later on in the RP)

Abilities:

He has the same strong sense of smell, hearing and eyesight that a cat would have. He also had a pair of razor sharp, retractable claws on his hands and feet. Maarcuu can climb most surfaces without much difficulty and is also quite agile, as well as speedy. His tail can be used to hold additional items like a third hand (or hang onto edges/cliffs).

Bio:

Background:

Maarcuu was born and raised on Human Colony G-R2 in the middle of "Relenus Vesta", a wild and lush green planet in the southern spiral arm of the Xenayar Galaxy. Despite it being a human colony, Maarcuu and his Anamantian family, were treated like equals, despite the obvious genetic differences. There he lived in a small farmstead with his mother, two sisters, and his father. Due to the wonderful and ever-bountiful nature of the planet, his father set up a farm and began to harvest the local Barnar, Yoope and Veentair crops, along with many other sorts of vegetables and fruits. One year when Maarcuu was 6, a shipment from Torrenal came to the colony with all sorts of produce and animals, which flourished in the Relenus Vesta environment and allowed his father to expand his farming business to all sorts of things rather then just fruits and vegetables.

While he was born a farmer, Maarcuu also excelled in piloting and mechanics. He loved to tinker with starships and speeders and he had extremely steady hands. Most of his friends called him "a literal grease monkey" because he was often found working on either droids or his personal Speeder (which he has driven countless times in races and won). He even rebuilt a heavily destroyed Hyperactive Knowledge Unit Droid ("HK" line) out of spare parts, adding in a few additional components he felt would be useful. Not long after he had been accepted into the Royal Agerna Academy for Pilot's, Maarcuu took a transport to the Birugal System and spent the next 2 years training. Finally, when he was 17, Maarcuu joined up with the Royal Star Pilot's who worked under the service of King Ridley-Scott II. To this day, Maarcuu is the youngest applicant to ever graduate from the Academy.

He often found himself flying around the galaxy assisting in the transportation of goods and services, or even escorting the lovely Princess of Agerna and various diplomats to the surrounding systems for political reasons. He often noticed that some people acted oddly around him, but he always assumed that it was probably just his ears or tail. However, Maaarcuu is a totally respectable pilot and mechanic in King Ridley-Scott II's court.

Personality:

Maarcuu is very polite to everyone he meets, male or female. Most girls find it hard to tell if he's flirting or just being nice. He doesn't like to do things by himself and would rather have someone give him orders to follow. Maarcuu can be odd at times, but there's a pretty good reason for that due to his upbringing and genetic background. Even though he smiles, he sometimes feels that nobody really gets him. However, he's a fun and outgoing guy who would stop at nothing to turn his friend's frown upside down. He is also very adventurous and loves the thrill of a good mission. He's well trained in combat as well. He has an exceptional skill with eye to hand co-ordination and he is very good at thinking on his feet. Since he is not human, he doesn't fully understand a lot of what people do or reasons behind human behaviour.

Other:

• Maarcuu owns a personally customized Astronomical Android (or "Droid") known as HK-55 which he repaired after finding the little robot broken and disabled in a junk pile. Maarcuu spent a good deal of time locating all the required pieces to fix up the droid, but its been extremely loyal to him ever since.

filename_by_herbomanic12-d89rmld.jpg

• Maarcuu is a skilled pilot in both peaceful and combat situations. Sometimes, especially when he doesn't mean for it to happen, his animal side comes out and he acts rather odd (ex. Licking himself as a "bath", sleeping in the fetal position, going nuts when somebody offers him food from aquatic/aviated animals, ect)

• Strangely enough, Maarcuu has developed a habit of speaking in the third person. Very rarely has he used the words "he" "she", "I" or "me". He just prefers calling people by their names and titles rather then anything else (ex. "Oh, hello Tyrun. Maarcuu is quite pleased to see Tyrun again!")

Agerna:
Planet_by_Voyager212.jpg

A powerhouse in the galaxy, home to the G.L.I.P Federation Headquarters. The ruling government is the monarchy of King Ridley-Scott II and his wife, Queen Eliza-Ro. The planet is compromised of rolling plains and ginormous green fields filled with beautiful flowers. The species of the planet are varied. Currently, the entire planet is celebrating the marriage of Princess Audra to Prince Deere of Raximotoriphalupagorious.

Poosh and Its 5 Moons:
Planet_Resources___Frozen_Plan_by_Qzma.jpg

Poosh is a relatively quiet planet on the intergalactic scale, but it is a Class 5 "Terror-Estriol" Planet, inhabited by a dangerous race of bug creatures known as "the Swaar". These creatures are pure beasts and are in no way sentient, so the threat of galactic expansion is extremely low. Poosh also has 5 Moons: a Forest Moon inhabited by the Queelon's (peaceful rat-people), an Ice Moon (void of all life), a Volcanic Moon (void of all life), a Desert Moon (another home of the Swaar), and a Moon filled with Mountains.

Raximotoriphalupagorious:
Class_E___Geo_Metallic_by_Burning_Liquid.jpg

Home Planet of the Cerr, a race of bug eyed, eight armed, green skinned people who resemble massive praying mantis'. There is a strong military on Raximotoriphalupagorious, which allows it to be one of the most powerful planets in the galaxy. However, it is also one of the most dangerous planets, due to the King's only allegiance: himself. With an army that's ready to eliminate the galaxy with a simple flick of the wrist.

Norrux Mirugal
Planet___City_Lights_Concept_1_by_Lantios.jpg

Norrux Mirugal is the largest moon of Yuuka. More commonly known as the Vermin City, the Smuggler's Moon and Little Shit-Covered Agerna, Norrux Mirugal has a surface that is entirely overgrown with city sprawl, leaving no patches untouched except the very ground of the planet, which is barren and dusty. But unlike other planets covered in endless cities, Norrux Mirugal is very much rundown and extremely dangerous on the lower and under levels of the world city. Norrux Mirugal was filthy, polluted, and infested with crime everywhere. There are around 8 Levels in the planet and the city is entirely controlled by crime lords. The most famous crime lord on the planet is Rectja Tyrr, a Borregelian who has ownership of the majority of levels on Norrux Mirugal.

[/spoili]

Appearance
Queronians are capable of integrating different technologies to their main frame, however, due to Bio-Merging not all limbs are replaceable.

Sylvie's frame has undergone heavy development to relate to a human's frail figure. Though nearly her entire frame still consists of mechanical appearance, parts are slowly becoming hidden beneath a fabricated cloth meant to mimic the texture of skin. However, only the lower half of her face has successfully been Bio-merged to match a humans. She has however, attached a set of hair to herself, though without a proper scalp it is merely cosmetic. Without proper human eyes, Sylvie still resorts to four cameras atop her head for sight. The central two are fairly larger, containing an optical zoom as well serve as her main source of vision. The outside pair is used only to cover the peripherals.

Weapons
Sylvie holds no ready-to-use weaponry, however, she does contain integration ports along the spine of her frame. This allows her to merge with mechanized units that contain no core, as well various Queronian vehicles.

(Be forewarned, Mechanized Units are not given a core due to their size, and energy consumption. A solid built in core would last little more than a week, hence the Queronians generally are not constructed so largely, but rather inserted into a larger Exo-Frame. Even then, it is not recommended to merge with an Exo-Frame for more than eight hours, seeing as it may very well drain the unit's core resulting in death.)

Background
Sylvie's core was the second part of a military set, the original frame was designed to fight on par with Zha'Ven's. However, the core rejected the frame on numerous occasions, resulting in numerous modifications. It was not until the frame was rebuilt into a support frame did the core actually take, ten years after creation. With these errors, a lot of data was fried and rendered irretrievable. For the first three years of it's lifetime, the unit remained silent in all languages including through direct tether. Rather, the unit immediately took to researching Bio-engineer, furthering the development itself. Around this time was it's first successful Bio-merge with human tissue, in which it's first words came "I will not be one of you".

As years came to pass, Sylvie completely destroyed her own frame, redesigning it entirely to match a human's structure. This, obsession, began to concern the fellow Queronians who worked along side her. More so when twelve years in she began to research if duplication of human organs was feasible. She was beginning to cross a line where all others stopped, all the Queronians desired was the appearance and cosmetics of the creatures. In the end, her progress was halted, her research destroyed by the fellow researchers.

Sylvie sought a freedom, one that would allow her to research for her own desires without the downcast eyes. And what was it that held the most freedom of all, what near her, rejected all others to follow with their desires? Her attention became affixed to none other than Zha'Ven, who recently went rogue. He truly was a free individual, who no other could control or punish for his ways. The answer, was power, that which she lacked.

It was two years ago, that Sylvie heard of his imprisonment, as well what happened to follow. If his database was indeed wiped, then his power was easily for the taking. But perhaps, the bigger hope was that her twin core would desire to gain freedom once more. After repeated pleas to gain Zha'Ven, she was given the opportunity through contracted work through the military. Practically selling her frame to the military for little more than a year, Sylvie was used as a test subject. She was used in tests regarding the new Exo-Frames, so burdened with power hungry machinery no other wished to test it in fear of death. Many times she was sent to mechanics to repair her systems due to them frying from the energy output. But, in the end, the contract was fulfilled, and her life continued. Gaining the right to Zha'Ven, Sylvie hired her brother as a bodyguard. And together, they came to leave that suffocating world.

Personality
Sylvie has come to reject her own race of origin, instead declaring herself as human despite physical differences. When confronted, rather than being fueled with anger, the girl is filled with sorrow and becomes rather introverted. Then again, anger is something Sylvie knows very little about, seeing as she knows that from nearly every viewpoint she herself is in the wrong. She denounces her race, uses her brother's power to maintain freedom, and more so, can never truly be human as she desires.

Queronian, #FF961E

[/spoili]

Appearance
Queronians are capable of integrating different technologies to their main frame, however, due to Bio-Merging not all limbs are replaceable.

Zha'Ven's frame is relatively fixed, and never really interchanges.

Weapons
Zha'Ven is a near military grade Queronian, resulting in the capability of integrated weaponry.
*A dual set of scythes, or pincers are geared onto the individual's back. Though incapable of striking forward, they tend to strike within his blind spots in time of impaired movement.

*Interlocking claws, these are actually Zha'Ven's basic hands. However, the tips of his claws are linked directly to this Queronian's Core, allowing it to quickly integrate with Queronian compatible weaponry. (Generally his claws are inserted into the weaponry to directly control it's individual systems properly with decent stability.)

(Zha'Ven will not start with ranged weaponry, and will take awhile to come by any. This is due to interlock weaponry being a rarity amongst the Queronian race, seeing as they generally just mount the weaponry directly if at all.)

Background
Zha'Ven's core as well initial frame was originally designed as part of a set. The Queronian was meant to develop as a soldier to partake in the military of another race, or at least, that is what was hoped. However, as the AI began to develop it's own individual personality Zha'Ven strayed from original intent and became a Hunting type. After years spent traveling the galaxy, hunting the animals of the different worlds he chose to continue along his hobby with bigger sights. Bounty Hunting.

Over time Zha'Ven developed his own frame, until at last it could barely resemble the original form. As his name came to be known amongst fellow Bounty Hunters he chose to thrive off of the emotion named Fear. Bio-Merging himself with traits of the various animals he has killed over the years until at last he was much like the nightmare he was made out to be. For a time he was named Zha'Ven the Terror, known strictly for his ruthless nature and collateral damage during his hunts. Evidently, as Zha'Ven's personality and his standing as an independent grew, he came to be flagged as a hazard. With a bounty on his head, the Queronian went rogue, becoming something of a pirate that would raid ships by himself.

Coincidentally, nineteen years into his life, Zha'Ven made a rather fateful encounter. He chose to raid a ship filled with currency, hoping not only to gain it, but some technology from the ship itself. Alas, the signals and rumors of the ship proved false. The Zenite was nothing more than a trap set specifically for Zha'Ven. Captured, bound, and imprisoned aboard the ship, there was little more to do than wait for termination. It was a week later, that Zha'Ven arrived to his homeworld, transferred to the Queronian prisons. There, he was forcibly tethered to 'the machine', which generally meant termination. However, immediately after his systems went offline, the core rebooted, reanimating Zha'Ven. At first, this caused panic, seeing as one avoided termination, but over time is was concluded that Zha'Ven lost a majority of his data, nearly leaving an empty shell.

Nearly a Year later, Zha'Ven was released due to another Queronian's contractual work. With this release, and new start, Zha'Ven became something of a bodyguard to the individual who came to him, unknowing of his past. Over time he came to learn of the Queronian's identity as his twin core, developing a rather strong bond and sense of responsibility to the fellow Zera11 unit. For the past year, he has remained by Sylvie's side, as both bodyguard, and brother.

Other
Excusing that horrible excuse of a Background, Zha'Ven is the twin unit to Sylvie, as well doubles as her bodyguard.

On another note, Zha'Ven is not capable of speaking a known language, but rather uses a unique stream of binary through clicks. Surprisingly, Sylvie's core allows her to decode these messages.

Name: Rann Tonno

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Appearance:

parn-looking.jpg

Species: Human (or equivalent)

Weapons: A simple staff

Background: Rann was an orphan found and raised by a hermit known to the locales of his homeworld as the Old Man on the Mountain. From their mountain retreat, the Old Man taught Rann the Sublime Way, an ancient martial art and philosophy that believed all things in the galaxy - living, dead, machine, and yet to be born - were interconnected. A master who walked the Sublime Way could stop wars with a word, anticipate any attack before it happened, be at home in the city and in the countryside, move into and out of a crowd without detecion, and detect any falsehood told to him, simply because he understood the environment around him and its people.

Whether or not there was any truth to the mysticism of the Sublime Way, Rann grew up in its doctrines and studied its forms. He grew strong and learned how to move on road, in crowds, through forest, hill, and mountain, and through battle as if he were walking through an open country road - the legacy of studying the Sublime Way.

Rann is a levelheaded young man wiser than his years would indicate. He is careful, methodical, and contemplative. He is not quick to jump to conclusions or to heated emotions. He reveres life, as per the doctrine of the Sublime Way, and generally tries to diffuse situations diplomatically. If battle is inevitable, he is quick to end the violence with as few casualties as possible. Having grown up on a mountain with little contact with the outside world, he tends to make a social faux pas on a regular basis.

When he turned twenty-one years old, the Old Man on the Mountain gave Rann a task. This would set the young man on a greater destiny than he ever imagined.

Other: He prefers to wield a staff, since it is easy to carry around and most people do not consider it a weapon. He is comfortable fighting with most melee implements as well as unarmed, but he does not have much experience with firearms or advanced weaponry. His training in the Sublime Way includes being able to move through terrain and through crowds with ease, manifesting as skill in survival, stealth, and being able to traverse most urban obstacles with climbing, jumping, and acrobatics.

Accepted! Good to have you, Raz!

Well I was thinking about the equivalent of the Force for this RP and wether or not to use it, but I think I will. It'll just be discovered a little later on in the RP.

By the way, Maarcuu is so gonna be the Luke of our group. You can be Chewie.

DELETE THAT POST! DONT GIVE AWAY MY SECRETS!

did you have a particular thought in mind for this RP's Force equivalent?

i obviously was thinking the Sublime Way as a Force equivalent - with JUST enough ambiguity to suggest it's actually NOT mystically powered

EDIT: OH! there's an idea. maarcuu's the luke. i'm the obi wan.

EDIT EDIT: actually, given the relative closeness in age, its more likely to be a brobi-wan

Yeah, that could work. I'll PM you down details about how we can introduce your character in a meaningful plot-wise way. How do you feel about being a cool vigilante in a planet full of crime?

Batman has become a monk Jedi named Brobi-Wan? Never would have expected this..

I'll also think about how the Sublime Way could work like the Force and post an explanation here.

Background:

Specimen SF-DBHX061, nicknamed Howl, is an ex-communicated private task force agent engineered for covert information-retrieval missions. Genetically modified from the DNA of a human and fox while also being enhanced by cybernetic brain implants, SF-DBH was born an agile fighter, pilot (dog fighter) and marksman with quick movements and faster-than-average senses. The bipedal fox was planned to be released into the police force as the first 'smart-dog' to maximize police/military force output in society.

The task force was immediately disbanded and memory-wiped before ever making it into the field. It's been five years since this lab-rat (or..lab-fox) had been mysteriously kicked out of his agency.

For five years, SF-DBHX061 has lived on the black market as "Howl", selling and trading equipment on the black galactic market. The hound's also been gaining popularity among the whispers of many mafia rings as a reliable bounty hunter, packing mysterious firepower with a little bit of black (market) magic. Howl has self-taught himself to build many vehicles and weapons over his five years on the market. During the day, though, he appears as an innocent street dog. Howl's home base is found on Norrux Mirugal, where he keeps tabs on the latest black market whispers and government conspiracies.

Howl is the pinnacle of street scum. Violent and crude. Greedy and caring for a few. He's a thief, bounty hunter and criminal by nature. And most importantly, money over nothing.

"How much's this gig worth anyways? 'Pistol's almost outta juice.."

Other

- Howl's enhanced sense of smell and hearing allows him to trace signature scents.
-How's claws are very sharp, which are his go-to weapon in combat.
-Howl's cyberbrain allows him to plug into machinery to interact with compatible machinery.
-Howl is only 5'0 in height.
-Howl's exoskeleton is a handmade military grade armor set with embedded oxygen tanks. The exoskeleton is also a major height enhancement for Howl, making him 6'3 when mounted into it's chest. He's able to perfectly manipulate it by connecting his information ports directly to its mainframe. (Please ignore the picture's labels, they make him too powerful)
-Please remember, Howl is part fox. Therefore, his natural claws and teeth are dangerous
-Aesthetically, Howl does not have any scars. (Contrary to the picture!)

"Do a Barrel Roll!" *

*I just had to.
