I was considering making another character who's a member of the royal bloodline, maybe a minor princeling. Would he be a good candidate for Matsu's compatriot?
Personality description: Marshall is a man who quickly grows attached to a group or cause. His passion ultimately causes him to make rash decisions and take action rather than think things through. His impatience and stubborn nature makes it difficult for him to follow orders. Though quick tempered, the pirate is just as quick to forgive and will do just about anything for good booze. He can be at times unpredictable but Marshall rarely betrays a friend and is defined by his steadfast loyalty.
Likes: Booze, Gambling, Meat, Music, The smell of the sea, Guns
Dislikes: Children, Snakes, Cold Weather, Politics, Military
Strengths: Marksmanship, Swordfighting
Weaknesses: Strategy, Patience
Morality: Marshall doesn't have much of a moral compass and will only stray away from a select few crimes
Outlook on Life: "The meaning life is to do what makes you happy, whatever that may be"
Appearance
Height: 5' 11''
Weight: 180 lbs
Body type: Medium build, toned muscle
Scent: Sea salt and gunpowder
Hair Style: Bald
Scars/brands: Numerous slash marks on his chest and abdomen. His eye has been scarred to the point where it is no longer useable
Piercings: Earring on right ear
Inventory
Sticks mostly to one outfit
Equipment: Two pistols, one cutlass, one tomahawk, two dirks
Powers and abilities
Ability: Marshall can rust almost any metal he touches with a substantial amount of time and effort
Restrictions: The larger the material, the longer it takes to rust. This makes large objects not worth the effort but smaller objects like swords or daggers vulnerable in a fight. If Marshall calls upon the ability more than three times per day he will immediately collapse.
Origin: It is believed that an ancestor of Marshall gained this power by capturing a djinn and forcing it to grant him a wish. The power that he gained has survived through his descendants and all the people of the Marshall bloodline, of which Ambrose is the last surviving member, were given the power to use as they saw fit.
Source: Replenished at the beginning of each day
Relationships
Friends/Allies- The captain and crew of the Leviathan
Family- Deceased
History:
Marshall always had a knack for trouble and never felt quite right staying landlocked at his family home. Though the Marshalls were historically explorers from a far off land, his father had settled down and hoped that Ambrose would do the same. Ambrose however, did not agree and set out at 18 to live a life of freedom on the open sea. This life of freedom was short lived when a Svanotolian navy came across his small sailboat and impressed him into service. He spent the next 5 years as a sailor in their navy, and though he despised his superiors he grew a fascination with gunnery which helped him get through the tough times. It was during his forced service to the military that his right eye was cut.
One night while the ship was docked in a small port town he was able to escape and make his way back home. Sadly, when he arrived he learned that his parents had passed away after a tsunami had hit their small coastal town. With nothing to keep him there, he left his childhood home on the first pirate ship he could find. Though he served them faithfully for 4 years, when they found out he was formerly part of the navy they were quick to maroon him on a mostly uninhabited island. After a full year of fending for himself on the desert island a ship finally came to shore. The captain reluctantly allowed him aboard and he's been sailing with them ever since.
@HellHoundWoof, I'd say if you really need to, you can play it alone for a few posts, as you make your way to another character or city where a character is.
You two start a bar fight in a small unnamed town/village. End up in a wildlands, where we stumble upon you. Then the five of us head towards Mithas Ithril?

Awesome. I have another character in the works, possibly, that'll be in Yukiyo's guild. She's bonafide badassery in a female form.
EDIT:
Name: Athena Sanguinem
Nicknames: Titania, The Cataclysm, Demon-Eyes.
Titles: Lady Viscera
Guild: Fallcourt Mercenaries
Rank: High Mercenary, Assassin.
Age: 23
Birthday: February 10
Race:
A Blood Reaver is a species of humanoid that thrives on physical damage. They look like ordinary humans, except for when blood, whether it be theirs or that of others, comes into skin contact with them. At this stage, a Blood Reaver's eyes turn famously blood red, their speed, agility and bloodlust increasing also.
Personality type: Architect
Personality description: Athena has a natural thirst for knowledge and will do anything and attempt to attain anything that will allow her to destroy those who stand before her. She is a coolly logical, intelligent individual, who enjoys sharing her intel with the higher ups of Fallcourt Mercenaries. She is a skilled intel gatherer, recon agent and assassin, the holy trinity. She is mysterious, and seems to radiate confidence.
Likes:
-Fights
-Drinking ale
-Meditation
-Maintaining her weaponry.
Dislikes:
-Weak enemies.
-Needless destruction.
-Begging and beggars.
Strengths:
-Skilled sword wielder.
-Skilled shield wielder.
-Skilled in some forms of magic.
Weaknesses:
-Easily frustrated.
-Reaving leaves her body weak from exertion.
Morality:
Athena will never kill a weak enemy, but she will disable their means of living normally, such as hacking off arms and legs.
Etiquette:
Athena is calm, meticulous and deals with childrens and adults alike with a stern, slightly angry tone of voice.
Outlook on Life:
Athena believes the world is rotten to the core and only by pulling out the stem of the old world, the old government, can there be any change in the world.
Philosophy:
"If it begs, leave it limbless."
"Those who monopolise the loyalty of men deserve to be violently purged."
Taboos:
She will never murder women. However, she will still leave them with nasty scars from battle, tarnishing the ideal of beauty within them. Appearance
Height: 5'9
Weight: 150kg.
Body type: Hourglass
Skin: Caucasian coloured, discoloured grey when in the Reaver State.
Scent: She smells of lavender and iron, which is the typical scent of blood.
Eye color: Blue, and blood red when in her Reaver State.
Hair Color: Purple.
Hair Length: Nearly shoulder length.
Ability:
-Reaving: Once Athena has skin contact or has tasted blood, her skin changes to a dark grey, her pupils turn to slits and her eyes turn a blood red colour. Whilst in a Reaver state, she gains enhanced agility, strength, and speed. However, she has a ten minute limit to her Reaving abilities, meaning she has to recharge her strength and heal her muscles, or else take another blood vial. If she takes three or more blood vials in succession, her speed is rapidly increased, to the point that she seems to be teleporting to the naked blinking eye. Her strength at this point is also enough to shatter rock. However, if that amount of blood vials is consumed, she will fall into a coma after the time limit is up, and may never wake up.
Element:
Blood.
Ability:
Feline Physiology: Athena can change her form into that of a small, black cat with golden eyes, allowing her feline agility, speed and the ability to recon areas that are hostile to the Fallcourt Mercenaries without being noticed.
Element:
Transformation.
Futilities:
Athena must concentrate whilst she is transforming into a cat, as not doing so could leave her half transformed, unable to transform back to a fully human form.
Restrictions:
Athena cannot use her Reaver abilities on undead enemies, if she is without blood vials. This is due to the undead lack of blood.
Skills:
-Athena is skilled in wielding and dual wielding blades, and is a force to be reckoned with.
-Athena has a very impressive memory.
@Kelsi the Elven Warrior Did you see my suggestion about playing a royal family member? My idea is that the bloodline came to power through mental domination, so he's a telepathic warrior. Thoughts?
