A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

FINALE: EQUILIBRIUM

Since the dawn of time, the presence of the Force has destined the lives of all within the Galaxy. Through it, the people of the Galaxy came together in ancient times and learned how to accomplish many things once thought impossible to achieve, both technologically with the invention of hyperspace travel, and physically as those who were Force Sensitive learned how to tap into the power of the mystical energy and wield it. From this group were born the first Order of the Jedi, and from them, the Sith. These two groups, each with their own idealogies and approaches to the Force, became mortal enemies, determined to wipe each other off the face of the Galaxy at any means necessary.

For the next sixteen thousand years after their inception, the Jedi and Sith waged war against one another. Sometimes the Jedi would win, other times, the Sith, but in the aftermath of each conflict, the people of the Galaxy lost. Planets became inhospitable due to corruption from the Dark Side of the Force, either refined in weapon-form or simply through the gradual exposure to the Sith who resided there, but the Sith would counter-act this by needlessly slaughtering each other in pursuit of power and higher status among their empire. Entire governments fell to the Jedi when they were discovered to be allied with the Sith, but the fear of Dark Side wielders being in power and meddling in galactic politics would ultimately be the undoing of the Jedi Order. Even in times of relative peace, when either the Jedi or the Sith had emerged from the battlefield, victorious, the looming presence of conflict as a result of personal attunement with either side of the Force was always there.

Where Republic's perished, Empire's were forged from the ashes. Where a Jedi Master was struck down, two more would take his place. Where one might find complete balance between the Light and Dark Sides of the Force, another would pursue only the furthest extremes of either side.

Where there was the Force; there was war and bloodshed.

Through it all, the Galaxy survived, recovering and returning stronger than ever after every conflict that arose between the Force Users. Though many sought to take action and ensure that neither side managed to engage one another ever again, as it was theorized that the Jedi and Sith would eventually destroy the Galaxy alongside one another, their attempts ultimately failed since neither the Jedi nor the Sith could really be destroyed. After all; a person is mortal, but and idea is eternal. But during the final conflict between the First Order and the Resistance, something occured that no one could have predicted;

Balance in the Force had been achieved; The Jedi and the Sith were finally dead.

Although the details have never truly been revealed, it is said that during their final confrontation, the Last Jedi and the Supreme Leader of the First Order, met their end under mysterious circumstances. Though the Galaxy was saved from the threat of the First Order, the news of the fate of the Force Users brought forth mixed reception throughout the Galaxy. Some relished in the thought that no longer would they have to fear those who brandished Lightsabers, while others mourned for the loss of their supposed protectors and allies.

As the Galaxy does after a period of war, the people moved on and the Galaxy as a whole changed. For the next two hundred and thirty years, there were no signs of Force Users of any kind. Although many Force Sensitives were definitely born during this time, none could be trained in the ways of the Jedi or the Sith, as much of the history and physical remnants surrounding either group had either been collected by those who sought interest in them (such as the Hutts, who collected Jedi and Sith artifacts for their already vast collections), or were destroyed by governments either trying to forget the past or to prevent any possible Jedi/Sith pupils from emerging (such as the Raising of Malachor, during which the Imperial Legion bombed the planet's surface to destroy every remnant of the Sith society that once resided there).

But now, in the year 300 ABY, rumors have emerged that across the galaxy, a group of Force-Sensitive terrorists known as "The Tribunal of Korriban" have begun a crusade in pursuit of the remaining Jedi and Sith artifacts, ransacking any settlements and leaving dead planets behind in their wake. Although much of this is speculation brought to the new highest government system, the United Federation of Galactic Peacekeeping, by farmers and spice miners, the President of the Federation has taken the possible threat seriously and demanded action. However, the Federation's military resources are stretched thin thanks to the sudden invasion of the Yuuzhan Vong occurring off in the Uncharted Regions of space, a public cry for help has been extended to any who choose to accept it.

Guardians of Peace, Scum of the Universe, or those who fall somewhere in between; your task, should you choose to accept it, is to locate proof of the Tribunal's existence and, if possible, to eliminate them and the threat they pose to the Galaxy at large if they are to continue their supposedly destructive crusade.

Go now, and bring peace, unity, and security, to the Galaxy, for this may be our final hour...

    Nearly Two-hundred and thirty years after the events of "The Force Awakens", the Jedi and Sith seemed to disappear off the face of the galaxy. As is natural with the passage of time, various new planets were discovered, as were new species. In the time between the disappearance of the Jedi/Sith, there were three primary occurrences that would ultimately shape the galaxy into what it is today;

Although the First Order had lost their leader, as well as the Knights of Ren, they did not officially surrender to the New Republic until 50 ABY, nearly twenty years after the death of their Supreme Leader, Snoke. With the final remnants of Imperial life swept away, the New Republic focused on rebuilding what was lost and rejuvinating the galaxy as a whole. For the next one hundred and fifty years (leading to 200 ABY), it was a relatively quiet time in the history of the galaxy, but that soon came to an end after tensions between Mandalore and Taris began to escalate after the Mandalorian Empress was kidnapped by a group of gangsters who resided on Taris.

Threatening to do to the planet what their ancestors had done centuries ago if the Queen was not discovered, the people of Taris tried to pressure the New Republic into forcing the Mandalorians to step down or risk the might of a galaxy united. When the Mandalorians appeals to the New Republic fell on deaf ears, as the government system had become ripe with corruption just as the Republic at the time of the Clone Wars had, instead insisting that the people of Taris had done nothing wrong and that the Queen was elsewhere, the Mandalorians refused to end their blockade of Taris until the Queen had been found, which eventually, she was. Although it is not wholly understood why the people of Taris would kidnap the highest authority on Mandalore and risk an interplanetary incident, it has long since been speculated that the gang was framed by a third party, though there is little evidence to support this. The frustrated people who had been ignored by the New Republic, or perhaps a remnant of the First Order that had not properly been dealt with, it is not clear, but it can be known that the events that followed the kidnapping of the Queen would define the galaxy's ultimate fate.

When the Queen was finally tracked down, however, it was revealed that the Rakghoul plague had returned stronger than ever and the lower levels of Taris, which had been abandoned long after the Sith Occupation of 3956 BBY except by those who were forced to live there due to a lack of proper funds, were rampant with the mutant beasts. After further research by the Mandalorians, who used the Blockade as a sort of quarantine, they discovered the plague was artificially created by the New Republic and inflicted upon those living in the slums as a demented form of evening out the population. The first test subject, as they learned from the laboratory of Dr. Hassan Nigula, the home of the artificial strain of the plague, was the Mandalorian Queen, as her heritage would allow the natural breeding of strong Rakghouls for generations to come. With the Rakghouls at their disposal, the New Republic would be able to have a portable

Having enough evidence for themselves to condemn the people of Taris and the New Republic for not only treason against the Mandalorian people, but also against the Galaxy, the Mandalorians went to war and utterly annihilated the planet, effectively killing all life on it. This act of aggression would not go unseen by the New Republic, who labelled the Mandalorian peoples as traitors of the Republic and warmongers, while the Mandalorians exposed their research to the public, casting the New Republic in a similar light much like the Empire. As the planets of the Galaxy divided against one another, choosing to side with the New Republic or the Mandalorians, one thing was assured; war was inevitable, and given the Mandalorians track record, it would not be an easy fight.

Thus began the Second Mandalorian Wars.

The galaxy was ravaged by the fighting, which was worse than it had ever been during the past. The Clone Wars were made to look like the acts of children playing with their father's blaster pistols, the carnage and injustice wrought by both the New Republic and the Mandalorian Empire too much to bear. The bloodbath not only rivaled that of the first Mandalorian War, but surpassed it. Entire planets were turned into barren wastelands due to a new war-tactic the Mandalorians employed known as "Glassing", in which they would release intense focused blasts of plasma onto a planet's surface, effectively burning up the atmosphere and destroying any forms of life it came into contact with.

However, unlike the first Mandalorian War, the victors were the Mandalorians themselves, and those who followed them to victory claimed the spoils of war for their own. The New Republic was shattered, a broken remnant of its former self which more closely resembled the First Order than it did the Republic of old. Knowing that the galaxy needed to be protected from such events ever again, the Mandalorians and their allies (alongside those who surrendered to the Mandalorian Empire during the war/after the war), created the "Untied Federation of Galactic Peacekeeping", a new government system that would seek to protect the people of the galaxy through diplomatic and militaristic means. They would give each planet's governments direct control over their systems, which allowed the Federation to serve as a sort of unified collective of differing ideals and ways of life that did not directly dictate how the galaxy should be run. As the past had proved, one government above all had failed; the Federation would not follow in their footsteps.

By serving as a platform where individual planets could convene on equal footing with one another without having a strict set of rules forced upon them by a larger system, the Federation proved to be more successful at maintaining long-term peace than the New Republic did, as even during the 'Era of Peace', there had been much in-fighting amongst the Senate and individual planets seeking representation.

However, the Federation as a whole would still be controlled by the Mandalorians, whose military prowess proved to be an effective way of enforcing good relations between the differing worlds that made up the galaxy. None would dare to cross the Mandalorians again, not after they had proved the New Republic to be corrupt from within and certainly not after the discovery of "Glassing", which was kept a secret from the galaxy even after the war had concluded.

But between the start of the Second Mandalorian War and the establishment of the Federation, ninety years had passed (making the conflict one of the longest in the history of the Galaxy). At the end of the War, in 290 ABY, the Federation officially decreed Taris inhospitable, forcing the dead-planet to stand as a monument of the New Republic's failings. But not long after the war had ended, in 298 ABY, the forces of the Federation would once again be called to battle as the Yuuzhan Vong launched their invasion from the Uncharted Regions of Space. Forced to combat the enemy who sought to use the last war as a means to quickly conquer the galaxy, the Federation got to work and focused much of their resources into fighting the Yuuzhan Vong while the planets left in ruins from the war were nearly forgotten.

However, in the last year (present time - 300 ABY), reports of an organization of Dark-Force users known as "The Tribunal of Korriban" have emerged, although there is no definitive proof that such a group exists. Although, in the possibility that they do, the Federation has offered a substantial reward for any who manage to capture or dismantle the Tribunal while they continue to fight off the Yuuzhan Vong.

Chapter 1: Skirmish on the Orbital Station

    Coming soon...

  • 14_by_herbomanic12-dbw51vx.png
    1. No GMing. We don't want any Mary-Sues or Gary-Sues, especially in the case of Jedi/Sith characters. Bottom line, don't use the Force to instantly knock out twenty enemies at once or to convince someone else's character to go along with what your character wants unless you already have their approval (ie. "Mind-a tricks don't-a work on me, only money!")

    2. Maximum of 2 Active Characters per person. Any more needs approval by a GM. There is also a limit to ONE Force-Sensitive character per person (ie. You can't play more than one person with an attachment to the Force, be they a Jedi, Sith, or just Force Sensitive).

    3. Characters have the potential to die/get killed, but please ASK somebody before you attempt to kill their character rather than just say "Your guy is dead". As GM, I will ensure that nobodies character dies ICly without sole permission from their player (or if you want to suggest it, that also works).

    4. Keep it PG-13! Sure, Star Wars has some pretty dark stuff (like the time Vader went nuts on a bunch of kids, or that time Vader went nuts on a bunch of Tusken Raiders, or that time Vader went nuts on a bunch of Rebels after they stole the Death Star plans. Yikes, Darth Vader sure wasn't a nice guy, huh?) and also can be quite mature, but especially if it comes to romantic interactions, if things progress to a point of no return, please remember the Site rules.

    5. Some scenes will be time skipped if they drag on too long/get too boring, but most of the time we will RP things through.

    6. Feel free to throw ideas at me for potential plots/character romances/alien encounters/etc, but just remember that as the GM, I have the final say on what stays and what doesn't.

    7. Your character cannot have any GM abilities. GM abilities include: Character Manipulation (mind control/puppetering), Insta-Killing other player's Characters, etc. We all know what these are so we should be good.

    Force Users, here are a list of powers that will be prohibited unless I say differently;

    1. Force Drain (the act of literatlly draining something of power/life, including entire planets)

    2. Mind Trick* (while not banned entirely, this will only be allowed on NPC's designated by me, otherwise it won't be allowed for use on player characters unless both players agree on it happening)

    3. Sever Force (the ability to cut somebody off from the Force entirely, or temporarily, is a big no-no and is only reserved for NPCs).

    4. Force Ghost (no coming back from the dead, making characters immortal is boring and you're boring if you wanted to do it. Only NPC's can be Force Ghosts, but we won't be meeting a lot of those)

    5. Force Rage (essentially the "Berserker Mode" of Star Wars, and really not allowed due to it making your character a God/Goddess, even for a limited time).

    6. Force Destruction (the more OP version of Force Lightening, this, like Force Drain, is not something we should be messing with unless we want to just give up having fun and act like insane crazy people).

    7. Pretty much anything else that you think might be too overpowered. If you don't know, ask!

As well, each player taking up a Jedi/Sith role will be allowed up to Six Additional Force Powers (Lightside/Darkside in whatever balance you so choose) outside of the basic ones that all Jedi/Sith can learn. The ones that all Jedi/Sith know (speed/jump, push/pull, etc) will already be known by your character if you choose.

    8. Post at least two paragraphs each time (more is fantastic), but I understand that life gets in the way. If you don't think you can post for a while, but still want your character to be involved with the plot's progression, just tell a GM and we'll NPC your character for a bit until you get back.

    9. GM posts will be announced (these include plot movers, special events or even the death/introduction of a new character). I may also ask some of you to collaborate with me on a GM post, but they shouldn't interrupt the general flow of the RP (most of them are designed to show stuff happening far and away from our characters, but occasionally they'll introduce a new moment/situation that we have to get through).

    10. If you got this far, here's a cookie *hands cookie*. Also, include the words "Blue Harvest" in the "Other" section of your sheet so I know who's read the rules and who hasn't. Whether or not your sheet is accepted is dependent on if you read the rules, among other things.

    11. Please make PvP combat fair. It really sucks when somebody uses Force Stasis, then proceeds to just punch the crap out of their immobile opponent. In addition, GM moves will NOT be allowed inside PvP combat unless approved/announced in a GM event.

    12. Enjoy the RP to the best of your ability and respect your fellow crew mates in the OoC!! ^^

@mr_pibbs How do you feel about my Trandosian priest having a droid secondary character for a body guard?

Would he be taking up a role as your second character or would he be an NPC?

Second character. Well, secondary, like I said. I intend to have the priest be, if not unable, at least generally unwilling to fight. He'll have volunteered for some reason related to the Scorekeeper: to be witness to the carnage of a good hunt, or to redeem a shame a severe injury has placed on him.

Okay but what I meant was you'll be filling out a sheet for him, or did you want him only to be a brief mention like Tero or Kimi?

Ah, apologies. No, I'd make a second sheet, tho it'd be (comparably) abbreviated.

Okay, sounds good! So he's your second character, but you'll be focusing less on him and more on your Priest?

In response to the question of my bounty hunters motivation I'd say it'd be partly for money but also some sort of honor for his ancestors being in the Empire/First order.

So he'd be a bounty hunter out of pride because his liniage links him to space fascism?

Works for me :3

Well more so out of the fact of descendant from Imperial Sniper/Scout but yes XD Also The Empire Did Nothing Wrong.

Alright, just remember that the Empire happened almost 300 years prior to this story, so he'd probably have to do quite a bit of research into his family history to learn that

Got caught up in exams. Don't worry, will work on a post tomorrow. @mr_pibbs

Going tomorrow! Wait there's an IC for this?? I haven't been getting alerts Dx

I meant for finishing character sheets, I was planning to start the IC when we had at least 5 characters up.
