Google or I am in error perhaps.

Atsui = Hot Temperature or Hot Weather, (Different kanji for weather and temperature, so its 2 words.) tenki is weather, and Desu is basically, well, is, are, etc. ne turns it into a question. XD hot weather isn't it? is the literal translation there. (and it won't because I didn't use the characters. if I had, 厚い天気ですね？)
