  1. The Story (open)

The twin worlds of Gaia and Terra are overlapping worlds mirroring one another in almost every way. Gaia shows the world in its natural state, ruled by the elements, massive forests, untainted lakes and oceans. Gaia contains the largest assortment of different races including dragons, phoenixes, animalistic like races, orcs, and humans to name a few. Elementals are common, with the largest of them acting as rulers or gods of the areas they call home.

Terra is the world ruled by magic, massive forests of crystal, magically created lakes, floating mountains. Typically the races within Terra have large magical potential or can twist magic in some way including fae, elves, dwarves, gorgon, and humans. Living magic anomalies are typically found in areas of highly concentrated magic, and typically they rule or are gods of this area. Though the beings called gods across Terra are called Forces.

For centuries the only interaction Gaia and Terra had with one another was through rifts. Rifts are commonly found in areas of Gaia where the elements are highly chaotic, or Terra where the magic is thin and weak. Most rifts are too small to do anything except give a vision of the other world, however some are large enough to allow elements, magic, or even creatures to pass through. What does pass through often causes little damage, most often its simple weather changes.

Then without warning the rifts started to grow larger, appear in area where they never appeared before. Animals would go missing, magic would seep from an area, larger and more powerful elements would pass through. The danger of these rifts became known immediately and guilds formed in both worlds in an attempt to deal with the rifts, figure out how to close them, or deal with anything that came through. Similarly though came the guilds who’s goal was to fully open these rifts, to make more, most of these guilds counted themselves as following the force of Chaos though if Chaos is actually behind these guilds is unknown.

Then came the largest rift, the rifts opening lit up the night sky. Fifty miles high, ten mile radius, the area within this rift is a twisted broken wasteland. Magic and elements fight and spark against one another, all within the area when the rift opened died. Stepping into the radius of the rift the outside world rapidly flashes back and forth between Gaia and Terra.

Fear led to the Forces and Elemental ‘gods’ to create their own group, one formed of their champions with the goal of saving both worlds.

    The System (open)
Saviors will follow a group of champions through Gaia and Terra as they attempt to figure out what is happening to their homes, fighting elementals, anomalies, deranged and crazed people and animals, and attempting to deal with the rifts that spread across their worlds.

    Posting Rule

In order to keep the rp flowing all ‘rounds’ will be advanced either when everyone within has posted their actions at which point the foes will take their actions. OR once exactly 7 days has passed since the start of a round, during which point all those who have not posted will miss their round. If the rp is continually waiting on one user then the time frame between rounds will be advanced. If something comes up and you won’t be able to post for a while please don’t hesitate to let me know via PM or in the OoC

    Leveling
The leveling system will work on a 100 exp system. Every 100 points of experience results in a new level, every fight, and some actions (including but not limited to picking locks, passing persuasion/intimidation checks, sneaking past encounters, etc) will earn the party experience.

At level 1 (the level everyone starts at) each person has 50 points to split among their stats as they wish. Each time they level up they will earn an additional 5 points. Every odd level (2, 4, 6, etc) they will also earn 1 skill point to purchase skills. (each person starts off with one skill point)

    Stats
    Each person has five stats

HP - The amount of health a person has. When this number reaches 0 a person is counted as dying, after three turns if the battle has not been won (or that person has not been healed) they are counted as dead. Death can only be cured by a high level skill (revive) (each person also has 1 free revive that can be used at any time) (Health = Hp x 10 so 2 points in Hp = 20 health)

Attack - A characters physical power, the higher the number the more damage a person will deal per physical attack

Defense - A characters physical defense, the higher the number the less damage a person will take from physical attacks.

Magic Attack - A characters mental power, the higher the number the more damage a person will deal from magic or elemental based attacks.

Magic Defense - A characters mental resistances, the higher the number the less damage a person will take from magic or elemental attacks.

Damage = (Attack or Magic attack) - (Defense or Magic Defense)
Thus if a character has 10 attack and hits a character with 5 defense that character takes 5 points of damage

    The Dice
Dice will be used during combat (and during ‘persuasion/intimidation’ attempts)
The dice will be a D20 system
1 = critical failure (typically something bad like a backfiring spell, or an attack that hits yourself or an ally)
2-7 = miss (you missed your attack)
8-19 = hit (you landed your attack and thus will (potentially) deal damage)
20 = critical hit (you scored an amazing attack that deals 2x damage)

There are some skills that will alter dice rolls in some way (both good and bad) however most of these skills can only be obtained from boss fights (with one or two exceptions)

The Dice roller will be http://catchyourhare.com/diceroller with the password 'Saviors of the Twin Worlds'. You can either roll yourself (with a label next to your roll) or (if you forget or just dont feel like it) I can roll for you.
If you wish to roll its simply a 1d20 then hit roll and add a label with your characters name next to your roll.

    The Bestiary (open)
This tab shall hold information on all of the enemies you have encountered so far.

    Forces (open)

The forces of Terra are powerful beings often counted as the gods of Terra.
Order - The force of Order is often depicted as a massive female holding Terra in her arms like a child. She is supposed to keep the world balanced, ensuring that the magics of the world flow through the seams and cover Terra in its life giving energies.

Chaos - The twin sister of Order often depicted as a clawed woman tearing away at the planet. She is supposed to be the reason that some places in Terra have vastly more magic than other places.

Life - The motherly force of Life is always depicted as a pregnant woman surrounded by a bountiful harvest. Her task is supposed to be to ensure that Terras people never go hungry, and that future children are born healthy.

Death - A shroud tasked with ending the life of those who’s time has arrived.

Magic - Typically viewed as an aged wizard, this force is tasked with ensuring that Terra never runs out of magical energies, that the energies are constantly flowing for Order to guide where it needs to go to.

Wraith - A massive magical anomaly who resides and rules the land far to the north. Viewed as the living embodiment of all death magics Wraith’s lands offer little for anyone to survive in, those who live within Wraith’s lands often need to raid other lands just to get enough food to survive.

Curator - A massive magical anomaly who’s home was where the massive rift now stands. This anomaly was the embodiment of all life giving magics and the land where it survived supplied food for many of the surrounding kingdoms.

    Elemental Gods (open)

The elemental gods are the oldest of the elementals within Gaia. These elementals control lands and often fight one another in order to gain even more lands.
Behemoth - A massive earth elemental who resembles a mountain with legs. Typically slow to act this elemental often would spend centuries simply watching those around it. Thus those within its lands call it a god of patience.

Solura - A massive phoenix, she was viewed as a life giving goddess thanks to her body supplying much needed sunlight even during the winter months. During the summer months Solura disappears into her nest.

Syndura - A wind elemental viewed as the weakest of all the elementals. No one knows what Syndura looks like as it spends all of its time within a massive tower which none can approach thanks to the gale force winds constantly flowing from within.

Frigid - A relatively small ice elemental Frigids domain covers one of the largest areas, possibly thanks to it bordering the slow moving Behemoth and the ‘weaker’ Syndura.

Kima - A massive lightning dragon who’s lands is counted as the only safe haven for dragons of all kind. Sure dragons are found elsewhere, but hunting one within Kima’s land is the quickest way to find oneself trapped within a massive storm.

Both Gaia and Terra also have various minor gods/forces/elementals, though most are rarely spoken of.

  2. And reserving this post for just in case there happens to be a 'character limit' in these posts. Never encountered one but still cant be too sure.

If there is any issues reading the above or its too confusing please let me know and I'll try to edit (or simply explain ^^)
If anyone has any ideas to be added please don't hesitate to pm me ^^

(I opted to leave the boss skills hidden at this time so as not to spoil things)

    edit:
After attempting to fix the tabs for over an hour so that they stop breaking I eventually changed to spoilers. It doesnt look as good but at least it isnt breaking. Sorry about that.
that large gap between spoilers is hilariously there to stop the spoilers from breaking as they did as well >_<

  3. Here's my character, hopefully they're alright!

    Character name: Jule Salapter

    Age: 21

    Age of Appearance: 21

Appearance: Jule has messy dark brown hair that is cut short, almost black actually. Their eyes are a poisonous green color and their face is sallow. They have a big mouth and a thin unibrow on their face. Jule is short and stocky, about 5’2” in height. They are relatively tan from being outside so often. Their clothing consists of lightweight material that are usually baggy. They mostly wear dark colors for their shirt, like forest green or navy blue, while their pants take on dull colors like beige or light brown. Over all of that, they wears a lab coat that’s constantly dirty from being outside.

    Race: Human

    Champion of: Syndura

Bio: Jule is not a fighter. They are a field researcher. Yet they comes from a family of fighters. They expected them to do the same thing, fight. They weren’t even remotely interested in the idea, preferring brains versus brawn. So they traveled to a place where academics were a must. They studied and studied hard. And eventually they became a researcher, one that worked out in the fields and took in samples from there. Recently they had been employed to study the growing rifts around the area. They accepted. And they had no idea what would be in store for them the minute they took that task.

    Level: (1)

Stats: (50 points spread across these skills) Minimum of 1 per skill
    HP - 22
    Attack - 5
    Defense - 10
    Magic Attack - 3
    Magic Defense - 10

Skills: Scan- A level 1 skill that allows the user to see the stats and skills of a target

  4. @Chaos - aside from some spelling and grammar issues it looks good.

  5. @Kraveing_Volkf

Spelling and grammar mistakes? Do you mean the bio or something else?

  6. Yea, the one that keeps popping out to me is toward the end of your bio where it says 'they became one a researcher'

anyway I added in a new spot on the character sheet for race. But you don't need to add it unless your character isn't human.

  7. I added the race thing even though Jule is a human. It just seemed right to me. And I fixed the grammar errors, let me know if there's anything else need fixing!

  8. Currently working on a banner for the ad system. Hopfulyl I can finish that tomorrow ^^

  9. and its up. Not a graphic artist but I like it :3

  10. Hmm... If this is still in the works, I may be tempted to join~ I'll just need to review my schedule before making any concrete decisions. Despite that, I think this is a fabulous idea!!

  11. Yea its still open.
I'll probably wind up turning the guide character I had into an actual character
