I say combatant because your character is a soldier. Primarily an engineer but considering character circumstance, if combat does come around you will likely be chosen as a Specialist if needed.
 
You can post whenever. The way I structured my post was to allow your character to move on ahead.

Considering the size of the ship and the crew that it takes to man this ship, its reasonable to believe that there are security officers on board. While they arent combat capable to wage war, they can manage with some degree of effectiveness (i.e. Stormtroopers) against pirates if we are boarded. Maybe one day we will have an army MWAHUHAHAHA! I mean, erhrm, armies are for squares.
 
Plus you know, I'm sure there's some kind of security systems the LI can call upon.
 
Alright. We will be moving on without Aza. The XO will become an NPC that I will control from time to time, much like any other character aboard the ship.
 
So, as Mari 4 was last seen being escorted to ship's engineering, is there a given description of that location (that I should wait for) or should I make that up on my own?
 
If you wanted to do that you could. I suppose I could take an inordinate amount of time and make a viable blueprint for the entirety of the ship.
 
yay, unnecessary technically work! It would be helpful to me actually, since my character literally exists at all points of the ship at once.
 
Ill do it when Im NOT trying to cram 3 hours of homework in the 1:40 I have left before its due....yay procrastination~
 
So, I just emailed my teachers that I havent finished the work for because there is now way Im finishing all the work in that amount of time. Ill take some hits and late grades over mental suicide.
 
In other words, that means that Ill start getting rough sketches for the ship done. Thankfully I have like 300 pages of graph paper for this.

Those numbers apply to a degree that I will be changing from next semester. Additionally, they are for personal benefit not financial. Also, gif relevant.
 
Sorry, so should I go ahead and arrive at engineering, including some basic description? Or will I wait for someone to make more details like mentioned?
 
Go ahead and make your post. Ive been without net all day so havent been able to do anything. Ill incorporate the description into the BP
