Windia was duly impressed by Alex's reflexes. She was certain that those shields were mainly for defensive purposes only but to think the edges were sharp enough to decapitate a Beowolf. Not to mention those concealed SMG's inside a hidden compartment of his shields. She found his skills quite impeccable. And there she was doubting if this guy was good enough to be her partner.
"I guess there really wasn't anything to worry about." She thought.
More howls pierced the air as a lot more Beowolves came to avenge their fallen brethren. Since Alex got to show-off it was only natural the she does so as well. Holding her Zephyrus, she aimed down its sights and fired an arrow bolt once she locked on the first beowolf. The arrow bolt sailed through the air with a whoosh, travelling at blinding speeds before impaling itself into a Beowolf's skull. The force of the impact was so great that it also the aforementioned Beowolf's neck and sent it flying towards a tree.
More Beowolves arrived. Windia decided that taking them down one by one with ordinary ammunition wouldn't be efficient. Switching to Fragmentation Rounds, she fired a volley of explosive arrow bolts at the oncoming Grimm. Explosions echoed through the forest as the Wolf Grimm were decimated by Windia's explosives. She thought that had done the job until she saw an Ursa Major barreling down towards them.
The beast used the smoke from the explosions to cover its approach. Smart ass. It just goes to prove that Grimm are capable of demonstrating intelligence instead of just acting on instinct alone. By now the beast was too close to risk an explosive round. Windia waited until it closed down the distance between them some more. Afterwards, she ran towards the Bear Grimm and performed a slide, switched to scatter rounds and fired the designated arrow bolt once she slid under the creature who was raising its paws on mid-air ready to attack. Windia barely missed the Grimm's attack but the Ursa was impaled by dozens upon dozens of arrow bolts.
"Well I'm glad that was ove---" She was cut off when she sensed something much bigger than the previous enemies oncoming. From the distance, she spotted a scorpion-like Grimm heading their way. it must have been attracted to the explosions she made earlier. Man did they must have been in the worst place to be in the Emerald Forest. The sheer number of Grimm here was mind-boggling. Even with their combined efforts, she was uncertain they could kill that Deathstalker without the assistance of other Hunters and Huntresses.
"Me and my big mouth."
Grabbing Alex by his shirt collar, Windia sprinted swiftly from the oncoming threat. They came across what looked like the ruins they needed to locate for their objective. There seemed to be other students there as well.
For a moment, she forgot about the Deathstalker on their tail and quickly approached the pillars. Without even thinking, she swiftly grabbed the object that intrigued her the most, a gray octagon that had blue glowing symbols and hieroglyphs littered across it.

Spencer on the other hand observed what transpired next quietly. He would have chosen the shapes himself but decided to let Arielle choose since 1) He was interested in seeing what type of relic this crazy girl would choose and 2.) She might throw a tantrum if he chose the shapes instead. Arielle didn't fail to deliver as she picked the object that he himself would have chosen. A faint smile appeared on his face as he heard Arielle's energetic and wacky descriptions of these peculiar objects. He was really glad he got partnered up with this eccentric girl. She was also very cute too but Spencer wouldn't admit it at point blank.
No longer able to resist, he patted Arielle's head after she had finished describing the relics.
"Well, if that was cheese then its either stale or poisoned." He mused.
