Luna
Location ~ Sitting atop the gate of Devius

Back and forth. Like two conductor wands, leading a symphony of silent sound. Back and forth. Like a slinky bounced between two palms. Back and forth. Like two restless little legs swinging to fill idle time and empty space. It was a wonder she could sit so long atop the city gate without falling forward or jumping back, or doing anything really to maintain constant movement. Luna's long white hair swished back and forth as it trailed down her back, hanging into the empty space between her and the far-away ground. Bouncing with the movement of her chin as it teetered back and forth to silent music. A childish grin curved her lips into something feline and adorable, perfecting the image of an angel as she perched upon her high ridge. Her eyes were glued to the dimming horizon... or, not so much as the horizon, but the enlarging shadows that danced over nature's lip and trickled in slow streams toward her home town. Darkness had begun to fall, and with it came the return of battle-worn players seeking comfort and rest.

There weren't many left. Still, each time a player approached who appeared to have even the slightest ailment, the twirling angel would drop down from her perch in graceful strides and happen upon the injured soldier eagerly. Her hands were quick to seek their own, lips parting to spill a soothing melody; a request of sorts, for them to accept her aid. Only a few were foolish enough to turn away her offer, and the rest remained in her care for a few short moments as the only real "magic" in this game glowed from her healer's palms and soothed their injuries. The girl could not do much for decapitated limbs, but her presence in and of itself softened the blow for many a man and woman that came within her reach. When they were safe to move on, she retired to her perch upon the gate, relaxing herself into the minor after-wave of physical exhaustion that accompanied excessive use of her life skill. Each session left her a little less antsy, until finally her muscles retired to gentle, evenly-paced movements, the movement of normal people.

She was tired... and judging by the dimming lights, it was probably dinner time back at the guild. But Luna had a duty of sorts - to sit upon the gate and watch, like a keeper, until the final stragglers made it safely into town. There hadn't been anyone for a quite a while now... but something kept her from returning to the guild so soon. Maybe it was the worried murmurs and glances her guild leader threw about all day, searching for the missing guildie Kaine. He'd gone off to Alexandre a day or two before and had yet to return. Snow had slowly become more nervous as the day passed, as any mother would if one of her children had wandered off in a dangerous place. But there was no helping it. They could only await his return with moderate concern. Snow had the other members to worry about, including Luna, but the little flake played by her own rules, too. Rather than accompanying her guild-mates back to headquarters after a long day of training, Luna retired to her self-claimed throne upon the city gates, watching until the last person had returned before going home. And from what it looked like, no one else would be coming back to Devius tonight.

She sat outside for a while before dropping down to the ground for a final time. Before her hair had time to settle upon the ground - before she had the chance to throw one more worried glance over the horizon, the angelic fairy danced back to her guild home with all the eloquence and energy of a ballet dancer. Now that the day was over she could retire to simpler thoughts and pleasures, like the no-doubt amazing meal waiting for her back home. For all the hard work she'd done healing her injured guild-mates that day, White promised the little lune an abundance of sweets for dessert. Cake, brownies, candy, parfaits, fruit salads, pastries, ice cream... maybe even macaroons... So little, colorful and sweet, stuffed with the fluffiest fillings... thinking about such adorable delicacies churned the small girl's stomach with ecstasy. By the time she burst through the ornately painted doors of her magnificent guild, a haze of sheer bliss coated the girl's baby blue eyes and made her appear more doll-like as she skipped into the kitchen. Her lips moved without conscious thought, delivering a soft, warm line while she scoured the room for her precious sweets. "I'm home, minna~"

Feather
Location ~ Devius Inn

A full rotation of the earth upon its own axis found the little raven crashed in one of the many inns that populated Devius's shop region. It was one of the smaller towns on Floor 2 - part of the reason she sought to come here, rather than staying in Alexandre where most of the population seemed to congregate - and yet this curious little town was bigger than Grand Masai. It hadn't necessarily been a shock to find that such a large group of people had broken through before they knew it. On the very first day of Quest there had been those players that stood out above the rest. They were stronger, with iron wills and the eagerness to crush this game and every bad thing it promised for the unsuspecting players. Surely they wouldn't have all just disappeared or died after a few days. It was the pride of the "backlines" - the slur for her own group and those still on floor one, which she had the unpleasant chance to hear several times from many of the upper-level men... yes, it was the pride of those whitewash players that kept them so far behind, and thinking they were so far ahead.

She would be lying to herself if the young whisper feigned indifference. Although totally reasonable, the sight of so many avid players and already bustling cities shred her hua-do into irreconcilable strips of false confidence. The court mask of strength tumbled from her trembling lips and shattered mercilessly, leaving in its wake the caricature of a sad little girl who needed guidance. It was a risk to show that weakness among these strong people... not because they would kill her for it, but because her own pride was at risk for shattering. That weakness, although not lone in its endeavors, drove Feather as far from the main city as she could manage on her flimsy strength and incapacitated arm. The trip to Devius was been mildly pleasant for her shaky nerves. It gave her the time to survey this Floor's creatures, or some of them anyway, and loll over some strategies for their hunt in the oncoming days. When all else failed, common sense and strategy would never betray oneself. Unless you were stupid enough to rely on the stunted brains of another player.

The bitterness of such a thought had the little girl laughing through her travels. Or maybe it was the entirety of bitterness that claimed every corner of her mind which inspired such humorless amusement. This whole game was a curse. Pins and needles stuck out from every unseen edge, corner and shadow, waiting to prick the players with their unexpected presence. What was the point in trying? For a fleeting moment, back on Floor 1, Feather bought into the belief that making friends and fighting for the cause was truly a possibility. But so quick had that catastrophic thought fallen apart, and by the hands of someone she briefly wished to claim as a friend. There was no point to it. To stumbling over these plains, edging through the woods until she could see the gate to Devius. No point in playing along like she had something to gain for continuing the game. And yet she had not the strength enough to make herself an item for a dire wolf's jaw. Feather couldn't die in this game. Lira, the puppet master turned marionette, was terrified of dying here...

But resolving not to die did not require the girl to continue believing in the possibility of forming friends and family. Such things were a weakness if they ever managed to reign true. It wouldn't be hard for her to wipe the slate clean now and continue as if nothing happened. As she wandered for the first time through the gates of Devius, the little raven called up her menu screen and appraised the very court friend list. She started deleting the names with only the faintest of hesitation. Soon enough, only one out of the three names remained - the one person she actually owed something to and had the desire to pay back before dropping off the maps. Before she could really think about what she was doing, Feather tapped out a message to the hulk of a man named Klugh.

I haven't forgotten about the meal I owe you. Find me in Devius when you are hungry.

It was kind of a comical message to send somebody, especially he who referred to himself only as "me" and held the brain capacity of a third grader... or was it second? But the lightheartedness of her action quelled the mild guilt she felt for deleting the other two without a goodbye or apology. She didn't owe them anything, anyway - neither had done anything to help her. As long as she continued to believe in that bitterness, her will would harden into the tough, emotionless thing it needed to be eventually. She could move on, finalize things with her one actual "friend", and disperse among the shadows to find a private path through the game. What better a place to start that than here? It was approaching late night by the time Feather found herself in the market place. First thing was first - before food or shelter, she needed to try making three potions. Thankfully nine herbs were waiting patiently in her inventory, ready to be crafted. She tried for only one stamina potion - the other two small healing pots like the one which already occupied her inventory. To her relief all three succeeded, adding to the small collection of money and valuable items that would sustain her through the game. That was enough for the night, though. Organizing her inventory and selling the drops she collected could wait until tomorrow. By the time she found herself an Inn Feather was too exhausted to even bother eating. She paid the keeper a good 60 GP for one night and collapsed into the bed, eager to lose track of her own mind for a little while.

Kaine ~

Kaine sat down at a corner table on the ground floor, as it was one of those inns with a cafe in it. It had been what first drew Kaine to this particular inn, but since then he'd come to prefer it for its proximity to his favored shops, such as the one he was at earlier, and that it was nestled a ways away from the main gate. He loved the calm, quiet air this place always had.

It was, of course, as he thought this that Nacht screeched in his ear with a noise Kaine had come to understand as "Hai dere Imma screech in ur ear 'cuz lol."

After flicking Nacht's beak in protest, Kaine ordered a bowl of soup, a muffin, and some dried meat. When it arrived shortly after, luckily having ordered just in time for a fresh muffin, he couldn't help but sigh. While scarfing down his meat, Nacht looked curiously at his master. "When we get back to the guild you'll understand. Sad to go back to basics when you've had food fit for kings." He set upon his soup, of the creamy tomato variety, and thought about things.

He would be up to his room shortly. With the guild home back in Devius Kaine doubted he'd stay here much anymore. He had left without really telling anyone of the trip, so he figured they'd be a bit worried about him. Especially Snow, whose life seemed to revolve around worrying about everyone's every problem at times. He just felt like he needed one more run in his old stomping grounds before settling in Devius. He chuckled to himself, strange to be calling something half-a-week ago 'old.' He considered for a bit going out in the night, but decided against it. He'd have to take a short-cut through the forest around the boss dungeon to get there before daybreak, and his last trip there was nearly his last anywhere. He had been after a Dire Wolf to tame when he managed to agro a whole pack of them, and stumbled in on not one, not two, but THREE Dire Bears in the process. He managed most of the wolves and one of the bears, but if Snow hadn't popped out of nowhere like she did that day Kaine had no doubt it would have been his last.

Having nearly finished his soup, Kaine reached for the muffin, only to find it was half-eaten already.

Nacht's beak was subsequently flicked.

Kaozuki ~ people, Kaine if he wants.

Kaozuki dragged herself downstairs from the inn she'd stayed at the night before. Even though she'd been through a long healing session after the boss fight, her arm still felt numb but she was just glad to have it. Half awake and still looking like a wreck, she dragged herself to a table and sat down, flagging down the innkeeper to order some breakfast. She received an odd look and after a few seconds her gaze settled on someone else who wasn't supposed to be there. Hurriedly, she got herself up and scooted over to an adjacent table. After ordering some pancakes and orange juice, she sunk her chin into the table, thoroughly embarrassed at her lack of attentiveness and waited for her food to come.

"I really need to get a grip," she muttered to herself. Getting over stuff had never been one of her strong points and being surrounded by death was even less easy for her. Shallow as it might have been, she'd gone after Azmeryth before as much for herself as for the other girl. Over the course of the run to the second floor, she'd been exceedingly stressed to almost a breaking point and had basically lost it after getting her arm burned away. In the aftermath of the battle, she'd moved almost mechanically, trying to help others for genuine reasons but felt a little guilty in that she'd be lying if she said that it wasn't also to make herself feel as though she'd contributed something, done something when she couldn't before. In the fights on the way to the boss, she hadn't really fought, just poked enemies from behind others. Sure, it wasn't nothing but it felt like so much less when compared to everyone else who had taken the brunt of the assault or had run out there and tore up the enemies, drawing attention to themselves and away from everyone less capable. Even the tanks that had died had played a more significant role in the battles... but not her so much. She'd just been there and reaped a portion of the rewards.

Kaine ~ Kaozuki

(I think I've got the hang of this place/people thing. Maybe.)

As he was finishing the half-eaten muffin, Kaine was surprised to have a woman he'd not seen before sit down at his table. It became apparent she was confused as she had not noticed for a moment that Kaine was there at all, moving to another table when she noticed him. It seemed as though she had just woken up, despite that the sun was now nearly done setting for the day. Must be from the new wave of players, he thought to himself. Having finished his meal, he got up from his table and decided to spend the remainder of dusk trying to make a new friend.

He walked over to her table. "Excuse me, Miss? Would you mind if I sit with you? It is always a pleasure to speak with new faces here."

(It isn't hard. Just takes a little to get used remembering to do it.)

Kaozuki ~ Kaine

"Sure," Kaozuki said, putting on as much of a smile as she could muster. She couldn't really fathom why he'd want to sit with her but everyone had their reasons and being alone didn't suit her too well. Her vision slowly coming back into full focus, she noticed that this guy was certainly not a wreck like she or most of what was left of their party was. Nor was he one of the few that just didn't get shaken up by anything. That meant that he was a player who had been here. She'd originally thought that almost no one had made it up past the first floor early on but the population up here had completely proven that thought wrong. A plate of pancakes was slid in front of her and she dug in, too tired to care about appearances.

"I'm Kaozuki. My group just made it to the second floor earlier after a few... accidents but most of us are here now," she continued a good ten seconds and two pancakes later. To call it an accident was a bit of an understatement. No, it was a vast understatement but those were her problems, not anyone else's and it'd be best to kick things off on the right, non depressing foot. The save hadn't been very good but she'd managed to pick her tone up at the end.

Kaine ~ Kaozuki

"Accidents, eh?" That usually meant near-death experiences, or deaths altogether. He decided not to probe that. "Well, welcome to the 2nd Floor regardless. My name is Kaine, and this," he said while gesturing to his vulture as it flew over to perch on his shoulder again, "is Nacht. Watch your food around him, he likes to sneak some when you aren't looking." Speaking of food, Kaine couldn't help but notice the pancakes, and assumed she hadn't realized the time yet. But they were pancakes, so it wasn't unlikely she ordered them just for being the wonderful things they are. "Seem a bit late for pancakes, I must say."

"It isn't that late..." Kaozuki said, cutting off a chunk of one of her pancakes. Picking it up by the non-syrupy edge, she held it up for Nacht to see if he wanted some. She wasn't really stingy and if she gave him some, he'd have no reason to sneak her food, now would he?

"Open up," she cooed, holding the pancake chunk up, brushing her fingers beneath his beak to pet him if he seemed okay with it. Normally, that wouldn't be too smart but this was a game and she was pretty sure that it wouldn't let her get sick from touching a vulture. That would be just a little too realistic, defying the concept of a game in general. Even if this was a game of death, it was still a game, just a sick and twisted one.

"I love birds of all kinds, especially the bright and colorful ones," Kaozuki laughed. It was about then that the setting sun caught her eye in the window. That was a bit of a surprise. She was sure that she'd hauled herself down right after collapsing on the bed for a while. How long had she been out? Hopefully not too long.

Nacht looked curiously at the piece of pancake for a moment, which Kaine noted as the most consideration Nacht has ever given anything he had ever eaten, and snatched it up in his beak. Almost immediately Nacht learned that he did not like syrup, as his beak stuck together when he attempted to squawk happily, but wound up making made a muffled and confused sound instead. He would spend the next minute or so prying his beak open with his talons and trying to rub syrup off on the table. The whole thing was rather comical to, to say the least.

Kaine chuckled. "Bet you'll think twice about sticky food now, eh Nacht?" He scratched Nacht on the side of the head. "So, miss Kaozuki, how have you liked Alexandre so far?"

Kaozuki giggled at the sight of the vulture trying to get himself unstuck with about as much success as a dog trying to get peanut butter out of its mouth. She would have helped him but didn't really know how. Thinking back, it kind of made sense what had happened and giving it to him might not have been the most thought out thing she'd ever done but no harm was done in the end so it was okay.

"I've seen all of a few blocks of it but it is nice, a lot less depressing than Grand Masai," she smiled. Frankly, it had nothing to do with the city. Grand Masai was depressing because it was filled with a bunch of people who couldn't effectively make it to floor two and people died day by day in an effort to get there. They were just lucky to have arrived. Cutting off another chunk of pancake, this time without any syrup on it, she held it up to Nacht to see if he'd take it or be too wary of it.

Nacht, with his beak still sticking but able to be freely opened, regarded the next piece of pancake. To his credit, he did regard it for a full second longer before snatching it just like the first. He also seemed ready for his beak to re-stick, and seemed very confused when it didn't. Clearly he had learned.

That pancakes are delicious and worth it.

"So when did you get here, Kaine?" Kaozuki asked, feeding Nacht more pancake bits in between eating the syrupy parts herself. Those below hadn't any idea before that others had made it. When she got a bit stronger, she intended to go back with some others and help them up. At least that way, they wouldn't be runnign constantly to their doom over and over. If they at least got to the second floor, they'd come to know that others had succeeded and could rest a little easier rather than think that if they ever wanted to escape, they'd have to hurl themselves at enemies that they weren't ready for. Unfortunately, she was nowhere near that strong yet and might never be. Sure, she could fence a little but that didn't do much against things several times her size with weapons that she couldn't possibly block.

Vicious_K ~

The two of them had caught her off guard, as they had approached quite stealthily while she was basking in her triumph of stolen goods. She opened her inventory and took out the enchantment scroll she has recently acquired. Just as she started to look it over her ears caught the sound of the dire wolves' approach. She stuffed the scroll back into her bag and jumped to her feet. Two of them looked at her with their enlarged canines gleaming dangerously in the setting sunlight. "Hello there wolfies," she said as she slowly drew her chained sword from it's place around her waist. The first wolf lunged at her with it's mouth open and she side stepped it, almost falling backwards. "Whoa~ Take it easy big guy! Can't we talk bout this?" The second wolf jumped at her back and she just barely dodged it. "I guess not..."

The first ran at her again, running right into her range as K whipped out the end of her chain and caught it around the legs. She yanked hard on her chain which flipped the wolf onto it's back and plunged her sword into it's chest before it could make another sound. The second wolf took the opportunity lunge at her back. K spun around quickly to throw her short blade though it's middle. She stood as the wolves vanished, leaving only two furs and a pelt in their wake. K picked up the items then headed into town. It was not a good idea to lounge about outside the city after dark. She had to learn that the hard way but she knew it by heart now.

Vicious_K walked over the bridge with her bag bouncing over her hip and hummed contentedly as she entered town. She made her way through the streets toward the inn. Her shoulders and elbows cracked loudly as she stretched her arms high over her head. "Time for some rest~! I hope the inn here has a decent bed." Once the inn came into her sights she ran the rest of the way to it and quickly found the innkeeper to pay for her room. "Thank you kindly~" She raced up the stairs to her room and shut the door loudly behind her. She threw her bag onto the bed then jumped in after it. It was a pretty decent bed. She picked up her bag and turned it upside down; pearls, furs, paper and pelts. She had the most random assortment of things she could think of.

It took a few hours, but she organized her bag then put in under the sheets after pulling them up over herself. "Mmm~ Good night my inventory. We got a lot more work to do tomorrow." She put out the light and turned on her side to hug her bag close to herself.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pools of dull, pale blue rested upon the ground before a small, petite young girl, eyes giving the lush blades of grass a near hollow gaze as she rested upon her rump. Ever since she'd arrived here on floor two, she'd lost near all the will to do anything; Temper was gone forever, and Tirian managed to slip through everyone's grasp, and ghost about wherever he may be. A sigh spread soft pink lips as her right hand fell to the ground, and began to pick at the blades of grass with idle movements as she let her mind wander. Sometimes, it was just better to clear your head, and try to forget, if only for a few seconds. She couldnt though, its seemed that her mind wouldnt let go of the tragic events of the first floor boss room. The damned goblin nearly wiped them out, and it was because she couldnt keep her mind in the fight.
The Reaper girl huffed at the thought, pissed at herself more so than anyone else. Such a silly thing to do, let her emotions get the best of her. Failure. Thats what she was. Clenching her teeth together, Azmeryth rose from the ground, and kicked at the grass as her mind wandered back to the one person who she was close to in this world. The "Silver Haired Hero" Heh....no more. Tirian risked his life to save her when he could have helped a group of three, or four survive instead. Fool. Yet, the thought of his choice the save her over them caused her lips to curl ever so slightly into an odd little smirk. She felt privileged, and because of this, she also felt guilty. Her life was meaningless here as of now. Word would surely spread. Tirian would lose his rep as a good commander, and she would be known as the girl who started the domino effect. Another huff slipped her lips.
Turning toward the city she was sitting outside of, her pale eyes gazed up at it, and she wondered if the marketplace had anything to offer. With another kick to the ground, the Reaper began toward the gate, and would soon find herself in the marketplace of Devius.
-MARKETPLACE-
The marketplace buzzed with noise, and activity as Azzy bobbed, and weaved through the many people who were here wheeling, and dealing for the goods that shopkeepers had to offer, or were willing to buy. Azzy herself managed to come across a weapons shop which gave her the perfect opportunity to sell the sword she'd gained from the Goblin Chieftain from the boss room. The redhead walked up to the shopkeeper who greeted her with the oddly of crooked grin he could have managed. Burly shoulders rolled before he propped his bulky forearms on the counter before him, and gazed at her with the most vibrant green eyes she'd ever seen. A gruff voice slipped his chapped lips,"How'kin I help ya?" Azzy approached the counter, and opened her inventory screen before retrieving the sword from the inventory, and placing it on the counter. "Id like to sell this. 5k GP, no ands, ifs, or buts. Its a rare drop from the Goblin Chieftain, and Ill settle for no less than what its worth...." Her pale eyes gazed at the man who immediately gave her an amused chuckle. He then proceeded to nod his head, and eye the green bladed weapon with a masterful gaze. With one last, sharp nod, he picked it up, and looked to her,"Got'cher self a deal, kid. Besides, I know what the sword is, and how much it goes for. You aint gotta lecture me on weapons." He chuckled once more before forking over her gold.
Azzy left the shop with a total of 5475GP, which she deemed rather good considering how she'd started out. The girl continued to browse through the Market for a moment before her eyes caught something in their peripherals. A brilliant, scarlet cloak sat in one of the stalls, untouched, and undisturbed. She fancied it, and how the hood was rather large, and would drape over her face nicely. It was a means to hide herself from the world, and she wasted no time in moving over to the stall, and bargaining until she'd successfully obtained the red cloak for a total of 75GP. She now clad herself in her "disguise", and set her settings so that her name couldnt be seen above her head. Just before she slipped from the market place, and soon after, made her way out of the city once more. It was then that she opened up her friends list, and gazed at the three names posted there.
Tirian was at the top. A pale, slender finger touched his name, and soon after pressed the "Send Message" option that popped up. Her fingers trailed over the letter of the keypad that had appeared typing out a message to Tirian.
"Tiri,
Hey stranger. I hope you're doing well for yourself. Stay safe, okay?
Love, Azzy"
Pressing the send button, Azmeryth laughed at herself and her cheesey message, and she vaguely wondered what he would think. She wondered if he would even send her a reply. But until then, she just sat there outside of Devius, a figure fading in a fake world. A girl cloaked in red.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Dull footfalls padded against the stone ground of Alexandre as an all too proud female marched through the streets, subordinate soldiers flanking each of her sides as she made her way toward the gate of the city. Clad in a form fitting red, white, and gold dress, and her signature, wild blonde mane bouncing with each of her steps, the Scarlet Lion stalked her prey, vivid, gold eyes falling upon Stella leaning against the wall just near the gate. Plump lips curved into a cheeky grin as her pace hastened, and soon she was running toward the female officer of The Order, her raspy, yet feminine voice calling out to her.

"Stellllllaaaaaaa~~~~~"

She purred, feet skidding to a stop just before the girl who'd probably just ridicule her for her playful demeanor yet again. Not that the Lion could care much. Reaching her hand out, the woman poked the other, and groaned that same hand flying to her forehead so that she could dramatically sigh, and droop her body almost like an unstrung marionette. She was bored, and needed something to quench her thirst for excitement. Unfortunately nothing seemed to be happening today other than the fact that more, and more newcomers were braving the first floor, succeeding, and in her opinion, overpopulating her domain. The cat groaned once more when she got no response from Stella the first time, and moved to drape herself on the other, a laugh coming from her lips.

"Lets find somethin' to do, yeah? Hell, ill even settle for finding some newbies, and helpin'em out."

It was at this point that Stella would know Lucifelle was desperate for something to do. It was also her day off, and when things like that happened, and she had nothing to occupy herself, she found nothing more fun than going to bug Stella, or some other member of The Order with her overly playful personality, her sarcastic remarks, and her lack of seriousness in dire situations. It always amused her, and near annoyed the hell out of her victims. When she, yet again received no response from the female before her, her body dropped to the ground where she sat, and pouted, golden eyes gazing out the gate of Alexandre as she waited for Stella to say something.

The streets of Alexandre were busy and bustling. Everyone seemed to be doing their own thing aside those who decided to parade themselves around like they owned the place. Well, she supposed it was none of her business. It wasn't like they'd decided to try to start taxing people and whatnot. Let the arrogant be arrogant. She had better things to do. Having finished her early morning enchanting work, she'd celebrated in the usual fashion, more alcohol. That was exactly why Reito was teetering down the street, beer in one hand and in anything but a straight line. It was a miracle she didn't run anyone down or slip and fall flat on her face. After refilling her liquor several times at different bars and leaving more than one bar room brawl in her wake, she made her way over to the usual pair, being the guild stony-face and the guild mascot of low attention span that rivaled her own somehow and that was saying something considering the fact that her original attempt at enchanting almost turned her staff into an oversized stick of pocky. As if performing a completely normal ritual, she leaned up next to Lucifelle and mimicked her word for word... albeit in an obviously drunken manner with the words somewhat out of order.

"Let's find something to do. I'll even settle for helpin' some newbies to Hell."

It didn't sound quite right but Reito shrugged it off, figuring that it was close enough. Downing her beer, she almost tipped over, having to pull her staff out of her inventory and stick it into the ground for balance so she wouldn't kiss the pavement.

As he chipped away at the ore mounds his luck finally flip flopped. His eyes shown a certain determination as he finished up his job and left with 3 amber ore. He wiped his brow if for no other reason than out of habit. Then in front of him as he packaged the last of his ore the sign shown up above his head allowing him to realize he had officially reached Rank E for Mineral Gathering. A slight smile formed, as that would at least make him much more marketable for days to come, and the night was near its end now.

Suddenly while standing there an icon showed up before him. He was returning to the inn he had taken house in and was careful to wait to read it until he was in the safety of his room. Then he pulled it up as he lay there bare for the first time that day and washed his face in the sink. His memories had not faded from the battle with the Goblin King, nor had his guilt. Finally though he settled into his bed and clicked the button to read the message.

It was Azmeryth, the red head that he had sacrificed all his conviction and stratagems for. Her message had been sweet and even brought a smile to his face, one that had not come upon him for quite a long time, and he thought for a second to reply, letting it hover over his head. Why shouldn't he over anyone she was the person he had not betrayed, he had helped her; and so far she was the only one that had tried to speak with him. "Why is this all so dumb…" he growled under his breath as he turned on his pillow and glanced out and the simulated night sky. Before he could respond just yet he passed out.

"Honestly Lu?" Stella giggled to herself as she stood before her guildies. The Order was a bunch of busy bodies really always working to higher goals. "I think it might be fun to go have a goal at Lobos again, that's always a fairly exciting battle haha." She had been with the Order since it was organized and was close to Arias the leader, in fact Arias had taught her how to better use her shield as more than just a defense, but rather a weapon. On the other hand Luci had always been the berserker type, a dps if she had ever seen one and a dancer outright.

"If you're are down anyways?" She taunted and poked Lucis belly button three times. In all the two the way they played with each other generally drew in a crowd of overly captivated males, and Stella had spent plenty of time talking about who they were probably the idol image to a lot of mens sick little fantasies, it was flattering but more so amusing as no one would tame her, not unless they could best her in combat and there was only one she had known likely to handle that task.

Then a new voice resounded with slightly off base words as Stella glanced around and caught sight of a girl she had seen a few times; a woman enchantress. 'Oh might we help you miss?" She was staring right into the eyes of the woman, though not with hostility honestly more out of amusement. If they hadn't been idols before they were now, A drunken silly type a dancing playful childlike femme Fatale, and the stern powerful hard type, all in one area. It was laughable when Stella realized it.

Morte continued to glance about the area eyeing out his new prey and the new conditions to his "Profession."

Kaine ~ Kaozuki

"Me? Oh, four days after the start I think? Three or four, one of those. Hold on a moment, if you would." He called the waitress over and ordered some tea. He had become rather thirsty since his meal. "Three or four sounds about right. I'm rather sure I've been here for most of a week." He watched Nacht take another piece of pancake, more or less without any hesitation at this point, as he thought back to the party he'd cleared the Floor 1 boss with. "I'd been power-leveling right from the start, you see. The plan was to get a few levels on everyone and gank people in the forest until I got bored. I never got the chance to start, and the whole 'Death Game' thing put a quick stop to it, of course." His tea arrived, and he took a sip before continuing. "After the shock wore down, I joined a group of higher-level players to get through to the second floor. Not sure what happened to them afterward, but I kind of just idled around here and got lazy with my leveling. Ha! I could be up on Floor 4 if I'd stuck with that crazy power-leveling I did in the first few days! Hahaha!" He assumed the others from his party were up there, they didn't seem the type to fall behind on levels.

Morgana-Kaine/Kaozuki and Shadow

After finding herself in an even larger town Morgana walked around mostly in a daze. She was drained from all her healing and the horrors she had seen. Once her wits returned slightly she sent a friend request to Shadow on the mere hope he would accept. It was the least she could do to acknowledge how he had saved her life far more than once, and she hated the idea that she would have to start all over again with new people only to lose them again to this cursed wretched game. She was overwhelmed by the immensity of this place and eventually found her way to an inn where she could get some food. Collapsing at a table she mumbled her order to a waiter then rested her head in her arms on the table to ponder her next move. She was tired and dirty but so far sleep was winning.

Klugh ~ People

He had made his way from the first floor up here with the help of the man known as Tirian, the small child Feather, and the reaper Azymereth, but once here he had lost sight of the three of them among the groups of people that danced through this bustling city. He walked about the bustling marketplace listening to the screams and shouts of the people that danced about their days working in each of their shops and such, many of the players coming back from their days of farming to sell their spoils of the day. He stepped forward and began making his way through the crowd, many of people stopping to glance up at the hulking form of the man none of them had seen a man of his size on this floor their eyes staring at the man with wide eyes. He stopped walking when he came to the inn many of the places to gather and speak with other places but also a place to eat. He pushed open the door and ducked down to step through the door and coming to the counter his eyes slipping down to rest on the man that worked the counter his hand resting upon the counter.

"Me want food"

He spoke pointing up at the menu to a meat like dinner laying the bag of gold down upon the counter, within seconds the man had pulled a plate of food in front of Klugh and handed it to him, with a small smile Klugh turned away and sat down at the table on the far end to slip down and begin munching away at the food he had paid for. His violet eyes shifting around the dining room to slip upon many of the people in the room only half paying attention to the conversations that danced through the somewhat loud dining hall, he sighed lightly and continued to eat rather slowly cutting into the meat and eating piece by piece just sitting.

Shadow ~ Creatures of Quest/Morgana

Another slam of the blade cutting deep and deep within the two hobgoblins that stood face to face with him, but he wasn't done there one yank of the chain pulled the two creatures forward bringing their faces into the soft earth below, he stepped forward and the last two hobgoblins began running in fear, but Shadow wasn't in the mood for games. He shot forward slipping to in front of the two of them, the archer reared his bow back only to have the chain slip around his wrists binding them together as one, the one next to the first swinging his mace forward to cleave the whisper in half, Shadow flipped over the first hobgoblin still holding the end of the chain allowing the second to cleave his friend right in half causing an evil smirk to cross his lips though it was hidden beneath the black ninja like mask. He swung the chain around once more catching the hobgoblin around the waist with his own weapon, he tossed the end of the blade so it circled around the creature until the hilt touched him and Shadow danced forward again drawing the second blade from his side and slamming it upward into the creatures chin and out through the top of his head. He sighed lightly pulling his hand back allowing the creature to fade from its pathetic life. He collected his spoils and continued forward he would be the one to tame this game.

He flipped into a tree body crouched low, he was coming upon the mountain pass that rumors had passed about in this direction and the closer he got the more abrupt the creatures got seeking more of a players life blood. He went to move again only to be interrupted by the message of Morgana seeking his friendship, he breathed a light sigh and tapped the green arrow that way it was accepted before turning off to stare at the opening of the pass. He mumbled under his breath about the opening to this thing and decided to stay put for now just simply watching.

Lilieth ~ People Outside

She danced forward again her hands curling around the polearm staff end of the scythe that rested at her side, her hands spun the scythe within the sky above her before swinging it downwards the hobgoblin raising its shield to block. The tip of the scythe caught upon the steel of the creatures shield a smirk dancing along her lips at the creature who thought he succeeded in blocking her move, in a few second the creature roared in pain backing up due to the strike that had made its way along the creatures shoulder, when he looked up again all he saw were the demon red like eyes of the female before him, she raised her foot at the same instance slamming the creature back as she pulled the scythe up through the creatures body pulling it to in front of her the steel touching the earth, she reached down to grab the loot that had gathered with a demon like smirk turning on her heels to walk away, she darted forward much more to the scene of battle at the forest entrance just inside the darkness of the forest her eyes watching as each of the players were tore apart by the two hobgoblins and three wolves that stood there. The five creatures roared in achievement celebrating their victory up until the woman stepped forward with a slight smirk she flung the scythe back the blade tip resting in the ground.

She darted forward again her feet moving swiftly along the ground and as if to the sound of music she twirled around the two attacks of the wolves, then the mace of one of the hobgoblins who took a piece of her dark cloak with it. Her red eyes only gleamed as she stood face to face with the shaman that had been hidden amongst the group of creatures, her dangerous smirk exciting a fear to the creature. She turned on her heels resting the top of the scythe blade upon the dirt ground turning her red eyes to rest upon the other creatures ripping the scythe blade upward and through the creature that had begun weaving his spell. As the scythe twirled up through the creature the tip of the blade came up to rest upon the air before swinging down slamming into the wolf that leaped forward ready to tear into what it thought was not a ready player. The wolf dispersed and the other leaped from the side, she shifted the blade around, the tip of the blade facing the wolf that came to the side, she shifted the blade forward turning it into a ballerina like twirl the tip of her scythe grazing the creature only to have the creature torn to shreds. She shot forward as the twirl ended spinning the scythe to slip around and pulled it forward severing the hobgoblins head from its shoulder leaving the girl to spat off to the side as she claimed her rewards.

Wolfdar~people

Wolfdar had just returned from wandering around the the town. She was dead tired, but happy to have made progress and gathering some loot. Her shield was almost destroyed though, so she had to look for a new one before resting. She sighed. Some healing could be useful too. She didn't have any major wound's, mostly scratches, but her pet wolf Luna was limping. It got hurt protecting her back from a dire bear, while she fought the other one. They had killed them both, but now her shield was practically trash. Wolfdar had used the same shield in the boss battle and it had gotten through a lot, but this was the end. Not that it was over used in the boss battle, she had teamed up with quite lot of stronger people, and had been a nuisance to the rest. She had tried to do her best, but it wasn't enough to stop some of them dying before her. Wolfdar's practicing was put aside for a while, and she focused on training Luna. Luna was a boy by the way, Wolfdar's obsession about wolf's just didn't care of small facts like that. Luna pressed his nose against Wolfdar's knee. "Oh, sorry." She realized she had just stood in the middle of the street for a while. Determined to get to sleep soon she hurried to the marketplace.

Wolfdar found a good enough shield for her low cash and bought it by 65G. It took some haggling though, with the starting price being 75G . Yawning she walked out of the player run shop with her brand new shield. "And now looking for an inn" she scratched Lunas head. He gasped happily and limped next to her. "We should do something about that leg. But I'm just so tired for now. I promise I'll work on it tomorrow." Luna didn't seem so happy but he was tired also, so he didn't put up a show like he usually did. Finding a suitable inn, Wolfdar went straight to her room without eating anything. Luna jumped on her back and tried to sleep there. "No way, not going to happen!" she laughed and pushed him back to the floor. Luna tried to look as pathetic as he could and whimpered a little. "What are you, a dog? You are not sleeping in the bed." Luna seemed toaccept it finally, but Wolfdar knew he was going to jump in the bed later on. Sighing she fell asleep.
