I don't mind if the base is on one of those alone, but it gets boring when nothing else comes into play, know what I mean? - Also, I'll do something modern if it seems like something I'd be into, but that doesn't happen often.

Welcome to the dreamtime, where things are not what they seem.
(like, are people actually confused? the tree and its occupants have been moved to dreamtime. it's the land of the aux. your body functions the same, it's just that certain rules are changed, including perception of distance, distance itself, and things that don't seem logical. look at some surrealist art.)

But look again. Think about the familiar elements. Think about the unfamiliar elements. They combine to create scenes where you feel like you should understand it, but don't. Therein lies the magic of surrealism and the acceptance of it, leading to magic realism.
