Once again they were preparing to cross the reverse mountain, and Requiem sighed. He still remembered the first time he made the treacherous trip over the top. The memory wasn't a pleasant one. Now however, the crossing didn't bother him, and he found himself frequently playing his violin while they rode the current. It was a good mellowing practice. Beyond that, it was usually the only time he took to play.

The Warlord looked over his crew that remained, and the new ones he'd gained. It was sad, the loss of those who had travelled with him before, but new arrivals were always welcome. He wasn't sure what to expect on the other side, but what he did know was that he had a score to settle. One way or another, the world government was going to have to find a new Warlord soon, and though he couldn't be sure, he had a pretty good feeling that it wasn't going to be him.

"Alright people, the grand line awaits. I hope you're ready for hell, because it's where we're headed. Let's not keep it waiting."

Captain Roald D. Emrik stood at the bow of the Striker as she pointed towards the uphill stream that would carry her over the mountain rise. The wind at his back filled the sails and his crew bustled about, each fulfilling their duties or watching, as he did, depending on their position.

He was grateful to them, each and every one. They had all stood with him through thick and thin, worked beside him to achieve both his goals and their own. They had been loyal, and constant friends even where the start of said friendships had been rough, and he would not trade any for the world.

It was a relief to know he was going into this new adventure with them at his side.

The Striker crested the rise, and then dropped with the flow of the stream, down, down, down, until she rested in the waters of the Grand Line. Aboard her decks sailed the crew that, together, would live the stories that inspired the penning of a book that would go down in infamy, Brag Men.
