It had been nearly a year since Baek and DO had met MinJung and Tian and the group had slowly gotten closer as a whole and had become rather a comfortable presence to the other, though they weren't to the level where they spoke informally yet.
Rain poured down on the tv-studio where Compass had filmed an interview. Their manager stood outside, accessing the rapidly darkening sky with the pounding rain. A streak of lightning flashed followed by a boom of thunder. Compass' apartment was a long ways away, nearly a full hour without traffic, and with the current weather, it didn't quite seem that safe. Baek sat there, long fingers grasping his phone and bag while he stood beside his bandmate, Kyungsoo, staring worriedly out at the sky. "Let's go." Their manager called out, opening the door and leading the pair to the car, where Baekhyun promptly clicked his seat belt in place before settling in for the long ride, a slightly unsettling and nervous feeling drifting about in his stomach. Something didn't quite feel right.
Attempting to ignore the growing pit of uneasiness in his stomach, Baek snuggled up against his hyung's shoulder, resting his head on Kyungsoo. Even with his music blasting into his ears, he could still hear the ever determined rain pounding against the car's windows. He could feel the gusts of wind blowing into their car, causing the vehicle to drift just slightly (do you ever get that feeling?)
Baek's honey eyes snapped open as he heard his manager give a sudden cry of surprise and then followed the frantic movements as their manager swerved. Too late. Even as their car swerved, another car collided with Baek's and their manager's side of the car, crumpling the metal while DO's side hit with the cement frames of the highway after flipping over. Baek was tossed from the side of the car, his seat belt locking and keeping him from flying out of the car as the window shattered and the metal dug into his side. As the car flipped over, Baek's head briefly hit the roof of the car, sending him into a state of unconsciousness. The driver that had collided with them, however, didn't seem to be as lucky, as his car had completely flipped over the side of the railings, while multiple other cars had been gently scraped in the ordeal.
It wasn't long before someone dialed the police and sirens could be heard as the police cars sped through the calming storm. As the men got down from their cars, they checked the other driver that had collided into Baek and DO, deeming him dead on the spot due to an accident and drunk driving. Joining the growing wail of sirens were a group of ambulances. A paramedic reached through the ruined and smashed car, pulling out Baek, who's right side had been torn up completely and blood trickled down from a gash on his head from where the car had flipped over. As he was lowered into a stretcher, an oxygen mask was placed over his face as his respiratory system went into distress and his body slipped into shock.

Tian sat there, quietly popping her slightly dislocated pinky back into place. It happened relatively regularly, especially when she practiced for more than eight hours a day right before a piano competition. Her neighbors were going to get mad soon, especially with it being nearly ten o'clock at night. Running through the Sonata once again, the loud pounding of the rain and booming of the thunder was enough to set her on edge. Something wasn't quite right, yet she couldn't place a finger on what wasn't right.
Her phone rang from the other room, startling the younger girl as she ran over, unfolding her long legs from the piano bench. Wondering who would call her at such a late time, Tian picked up, staring for a moment at the unknown caller. "Hello?"
A lady spoke, "Hello ma'am. We are calling from the *insert name of hospital here* hospital. Do you know a young man named Byun Baekhyun or DO Kyungsoo?"
Tian swallowed nervously, her free hand anxiously twirling and twisting her hand, "..Yes.. Is something wrong?" Her voice shook.
"We are calling to inform you that both the boys and an adult male had gotten into a car accident. Byun Baekhyun just went into the operating room (didn't add Kyungsoo because I don't know what kind of injuries you want him to sustain or what you wanted to happen next.) He should be coming out in a couple of hours. Alright, have a good night ma'am." The lady hung up and the line went dead.
Tian stood there, her hands shaking so violently that her phone slipped from her hands. Without bothering to even grab an umbrella, Tian rushed out of her apartment without even locking the door. All the bus systems weren't in service at this time and the metro station was too far away. Within seconds, she had gotten drenched. Running down the street, Tian pounded on MinJung's door, not caring about the racket she was making as the rain mixed and muddled with her tears.
((Hope this is okay. If anything needs changing, just PM me.. Sorry about not replying earlier, ended up having a piano lesson and work which lasted a while. Also, sorry about any mistakes, I'm really tired right now XD))
