- Medieval Fantasy. Or pirates. Pirates are always good. When it comes to reading, however, a good steampunk is always great. Above all, however, I would definitely have to say my favorite is Dark Fantasy.
With the speech complete, Krego and his book would be out of the area of attention if he'd join the other teachers now. Having stood next to the wall near many students, few noticed him and fewer recognized him, or at least that was how it seemed. Making his way to the faculty table, Krego sat himself next to Amberlyn. The funny thing about seeing her as a teacher alongside him was the fact that she was a student when Krego was a chaperone. Despite this he certainly did not see her as the student, she grew and he saw that. The two did share a special connection, and had the night to prove it. Though that was in the past, it did draw the pair closer. "Good day, everyone." Krego spoke to the table.
The Ham and the Chicken were the two most popular, but Krego headed for the fish first. Glancing his eyes to the new teacher, who looked ill and had the soup to further show, he spoke once more to her. "We haven't met yet, I'm Professor Oracio Krego, I teach basic magics." He was rather certain she was the new Advanced Weapons teacher, but should he be wrong he'd be embarrassed, thus keeping himself silent.
Biting into the fish, it was perfect, as usual. Krego was born in Sull, a town bordering the ocean, if you didn't eat fish you didn't eat at all. Granted the local fish there tasted quite different, however that didn't necessarily mean better. The seasoning was perfect and the meat was moist, Sides of sauteed beans matched perfectly.
Behind the stage, Arukab took a deep breath. He had to look stone for the speech, but it wasn't like him. He had a soft spot for students, watching boys grow into men and girls grow into women. Even people that become teachers had taken his course, and most students parents had studied under him as well. Walking through the exit, he'd decided to take care of some work. Of the 3 heads of house, Arukab had the position the longest and as such was grandfathered into doing most of the paperwork that centered around the university as a whole. Because the ship had arrived today, the captain of said ship should have sent in papers which would confirm every students safe departure and arrival. Any students not accounted for would be assumed to be in the town, but the work still needed to be read and signed. The feast was glorious, fit for kings, but this year marked the one hundred second feast, and once you reach around 50 of the same annual feast, you don't mind missing one every so often.
