The jounin smirked at Neji's defense; it would have been good if these were just ordinary kunai. Without any motion at all, he manipulated one to change direction on Neji, striking the genin a relatively superficial wound. He doubted that Neji would have seen the kunai gorge itself on his blood but he knew that the genin would notice all the kunai, plus two more change direction in midair to fly back at him as Hibiki landed behind the Uchiha.
The clone smirked at Kumiko, having a faint idea of what she was doing. The extent and force though was unexpected, the force dissipating the clone easily to a puddle of water. The jutsu was easily enough to reach Hibiki blasting him forwards from the unexpected burst.
Neji turned back as he saw Hibiki sensei land behind him. Neji was about to perform a jutsu when he felt a large amount of chakra coming towards him. He saw Hibiki sensei fly towards him as he was pushed forward by the jutsu. Neji was also pushed forward as his back slammed into a tree and fell to the ground. He laid there in pain. Neji looked up and saw Hibiki had landed on the ground as well but he was already getting back up. Neji still laid on the ground his back in immense pain. Neji struggled to finally after a few minute get him self up. "Was that Kumiko and her rinnegan." Neji winced as he was still In pain.

Kumiko's own eyes widened upon seeing that she had used more Chakra than intended to. The damage was more than she thought would occur. She did make the clone go away...and her teammate, and her sensei, and her brother, and some of the bushes.. A light gasp came out after seeing that she had blown her teammate and sensei away with the attack, all the while her brother emerged from his cover. Akihiko mentally cursed, quickly making his way towards his teammate Neji, with Kumiko right behind him.

Unlike Neji and Hibiki, Akihiko knew his sister's Deva Path like the back of his hand. After trying to help her at least use it with their aunt for three years, he knew what to expect of it. Everything else would come as a surprise. "Hey, Neji? Are you alright?" Akihiko asked his teammate, seeing that Neji could barely stand he offered to help in supporting him. "Kumiko, what the Hell?"
"The clone wouldn't go away...Weak pushes weren't cutting it and I used too much..." She briefly explained to her brother, turning to look at Hibiki since she hit him as well. Was he angry at her?
Past: Born to a pair of average Shinobi, Yoruichi was orphaned at the young age of only a year old. The Kirigakure orphanage being as it was, he had a rather tough life. Releived at the fact that someone didn't find his affinity for bugs too weird, Yoruichi laughed with the girl as they left the building. Though he had to agree with her sentiment about the Jounin. The man had been civil, even pleasant with him before just shifting emotions suddenly. It was strange, but he couldn't say it was the first time it had happened.
When she asked about the need for a blade during a simple babysitting mission, he was inclined to agree with her. However, he came to a sudden realization; Mr. Kagano was the owner of one of the biggest trading ships in Kirigakure.
"I think you should keep it just in case, it may be a simple mission but you'll never know what could happen. If anything why don't you seal it in a scroll." Yoruichi said hoping he convinced the female.
To the contrary, Hibiki came up laughing, a few superficial cuts on his body that bled for a few seconds before the blood began retreating back into the wounds and sealing over before their eyes. He sheathed his blade and began clapping as the mist faded away.
"Well done Kumiko. To think it would be you over Neji here. I'd keep this going for his sake, but you blasted him too. Pretty bad I might say. But if he can't handle this, then he's not cut out to be a shinobi, ya know? For a first go, not a bad show from any of you. A few small issues but that's inexperience and it will pass."
As he spoke, the jounin pulled out a small first aid kit - nothing special, just the few base necessities anyone would keep at home - and went over the Neji, looking him over. The genin was bruised and beaten, having taken the full brunt of Kumiko's jutsu and being completely unused to such attacks.
"You're gonna be pretty bruised for awhile but you'll be fine," he said, tossing a roll of bandages to Akihiko, more than enough for the two of them to patch themselves up. "And to be on the safe side..."
He reached out an open hand and the blood that was seeping from Neji's wounds began to come off his skin, collecting into an orb just like with Akihiko's blood before.
"Patch him up quicklike now; I pulled out anything that might have found it's way in."
Turning to Kumiko, he grinned.
"Well played, Uzumaki. Now we just need to refine that."
As he spoke, the blood turned into another blood apple which he bit into ravenously.
"Heh. The Uchiha is just as tasty as your brother. And now for you," he said, practically inhaling the rest of Neji's blood.
Extending a hand and twitching a finger brought a trail of seeping blood from Kumiko's wound to Hibiki's hand. THe globe that formed wasn't as large as either of theirs but it was still sizable. Passing her a roll of bandages, he bit into the new blood apple.
"Also just as good though there's a sharp tang to it. Probably from the Rinnegan. Still fantastic."
Munching on this one, he left the genin to patch themselves up before speaking again, taking a comfortable seat on the grass.
"So then, as you've probably guessed, there are many reasons why I did this to you. As you've also probably guessed, one of those was to taste your blood. Of course, that's only a superficial reason. However, I want to know what you three think this was about."

She runs into the armor shop, having already picked out what she wanted.
She pays for the red leather armor in her size and she hastily starts throwing it on as she runs into the weapons shop. The armor is being adjusted on her legs as Shizuka hops her way into the weapons shop. Quickly grabbing and paying for 5 fuuma shuriken as she continues to adjust the armor, Shizuka runs out of the store. She tightens the straps of leather around her left arm and smiles. "There, now we're really prepared!" The armor actually looks like it has been put on properly and not just as she was running between stores. The 5 fuuma shuriken are on her back over the sword, but the hilt is still easy for her to access. Her leather armor actually perfectly matches her cloak and seems to be just her size. "Alright, good to go!" She spins around. "Looks alright?"
Neji didn't take the help from Akihko. "I'm fine." The bandages that were tossed to him his threw back to Hibiki. Neji was not in a good mood. He knew he was a better overall shinobi then Kumiko was, but just as he was blessed to have the sharnigan she was even more blessed to have been given the rinnegan. Yoruichi smiled at Shizuka's anticts, he didn't hand around many of the kids from the academy so he wasn't used to seeing such mundane activities. However, he was taken out of his reverie by the blonde asking his opinion on her choice of clothing.
"Pretty as a Ulysses Butterfly." He said with a small hint of sarcasm that showed that he wasn't flirting.
"If that's everything you need then we should head toward the docks, Mr. Kagano might dock out pay for this if we're late." The boy added before taking off toward the sea.
Tsukune Kagano had always been a man to put his job above his family, so it was to no ones surprise when his wife died that her aunt from the land of noodles had tried to claim their two children. Wanting to hear none of this, Kagano simply decided to put his children into the care of the genin of the mist. While impersonal, no one could fault him for wanting his children near him.
Yoruichi had a different opinion as he was greeted to the sight of the two children huddled together outside of their home in their eagerness to see their care takers for the next few hours.
"This seems simple enough." The amber eyed male said to his partner.
Not soon after that little Junka was running up to him, only to bite into his side and run away.
"Crap! I take that back!" He exclaimed before running into the house after the liitle girl.
Meanwhile, Sota turned his attention toward the girl.
"So you guys are the one's Tsukune sent to take care of us...cool" he said with no remorse at having disrespected the very idea of his father.
A quick nod is given after his compliment. "Yeah, that should be all. Let's get going. I REALLY don't want to be late for my second mission." Shizuka keeps following after the bug-loving ninja. A smile creeps across her face as she sees the children for the first time. 'This shouldn't be too bad. Well, unless the little one is a biter.' She thought, and as if right on cue, the little girl bit him. Shizuka could barely hold in her laughter as her partner chased the little girl into the house. "I bet you wish you bought some armor too!"
She then smiles and turns her attention to the child in front of her. "Yes, that is us. Come on, let's go inside." She bites her lip for a moment and offers him her hand. 'Usually, the parent leaves instructions indoors. At least the few times I've had to do this before, but that wasn't for a mission.' "I'm sure I'll be busy in a while trying to find something for your sister to do other than chew on my team-mate."

Akihiko gave Neji a look after he didn't accept his help. And the way he was glaring at sensei, what was his problem? The Uzumaki male was the first one out of the exercise and he wasn't crying about it. Why was Neji mad? He graduated number one in the Genin class, he had no reason to be pissy. He took the roll of bandages he received and would have begun patching the Uchiha up, but he would just decline his help again. As Hibiki was eating the blood apples, Akihiko went ahead to his sister to patch her up.
Kumiko was a bit shocked to have been praised by her sensei for something that hurt Neji too. She didn't mean to, yet she was being praised for it, and Neji was angry. She frowned at the Uchiha, wanting to apologize for her push hitting him. Akihiko had her hold her shirt up a bit, just high enough to get to the cut on her back.
"Don't worry about him Kumiko, he's just being a baby." Akihiko murmured lowly to his sister for only her to hear. "He's probably upset he got bested by a girl, when he graduated number one in class."
While Akihiko was wrapping up the worse of her wounds, Hibiki asked them what they thought this was about. He looked at his sister, who murmured her answer to him, which was the same as his own. "Kumiko and I think it's to see what we do in battle."

He sent a quick glare at the blonde in response to her armour comment, but continued to chase Junka. He couldn't believe the little brat bit him, though he slowed his pace when he realized she was laughing. She knew what she had done was wrong but, she was having fun so he let it slid just this once.
Picking up speed just slightly, he reached out and plucked the girl into his arms and into the air. He laughed at her wide eyed look that someone had actually caught her, let alone picked her up playfully.
"That wasn't very nice you know." He said, placing her on his hip and tickling her.
"I'm sorry!" She yelled in between giggles.
Sota, walked into the house blinking at the scene in front of him. He was used to seeing other ninja just ignore them, not actually entertain them. He smiled before answering Shizuka.
"It's just the basics, make sure we're alright and fed until Tsukune gets home. It won't be too long."
He didn't wait much longer before he headed toward the kitchen to make lunch for his sister. By the time he had returned from the kitchen he saw Yoruichi entertaining Junka with a fan dance. It was beautiful, but only for show.
"Junka, time to eat." He said before placing three cups of Ramen on the table.
"I made some for you two as well." The boy added before going on and feeding his sister.
"Thank you for the meal." Yoruichi said before sitting down and slowly enjoying his noodles.
It was not long after they had finished eating that Mr. Kagano arrived, his face lit up with a smile that screamed success. He politely thanked the two ninja before signing their scroll and ushering them out the door.
Shizuka followed the two kids into the house where she saw her new partner playing with the younger kid and she smiled. "Oh good, so you weren't dinner." She turned her head when the older child told her that they were here to watch over them and nothing else too difficult. Well, they had to have something to do, right? Sitting there was just boring. For a bit of a show, she juggled her kunai before Sota went to go get food. She put them away to watch her new partner's fan dance.
"Thank you." She happily took the noodles and ate with the rest of them. When Mr. Kagano showed up, she left with her new partner after getting their scroll signed. "So... fans?" She said to him when they were leaving with another slight laugh. "Seems like something of an odd choice." Shizuka walked a bit ahead since she was eager and excited to turn in another mission for today.
The same Jounin as before watched as the 2 genin returned and handed him their mission scroll. He opened it and read through the details before stamping it with a 'Complete' and putting it in the complete pile of mission scrolls before taking out 2 small bags of 1,200 Ryo each and handing them to the 2 genin roughly and with a scowl before smiling and saying,"Mizukage-sama want's to see the 2 of you, head over to our Kage's tower."

The purple haired boy cringed at the Jounin's rough actions. He was tired of this happening, he didn't even know what caused it and that angered him. Taking a steading breath, he snatched his coin bag before walking away with a huff.
"Stupid Jounin with his stupid rank and stupid attitude..." he mumbled under his breath.
He continued on his way toward the Mizukage's office, muttering rather childish insults about the Jounin in assignments. It wasn't until he stood in front of the double doors that lead to said office that he finally took a deep breath.
'1...2...3...4...5'
He counted mentally before knocking on the door. He didn't wait long before opening it and walking into the large room and facing the Shodaime Mizukage: Reiko Yuki. This was the most powerful woman in the village, known to her people as "Mother of the Mist" for the way she handled the area and her people.
Shizuka pocketed her money before the order to report to the Mizukage. She opened her mouth to say something after that, but words had failed her. The jaw came down, but only weird little sounds came out. No words. She sighed and followed after her new partner. "Is this where we find out neither of us actually graduated? That's why we didn't get a squad!" She threw her hands up in the air, it seemed so obvious. "Probably why that Jounin was treating us so badly too; he knew!" She took a deep breath and gathered her thoughts. Relaxation visibly crossed her face. "Well, if anything, that jounin probably just said something. We can get this cleared right up, right?"
She sighed and tried to perk up as they got closer to the office doors. Alright, no proof something bad was going to happen. There could be a perfectly good reason for this. She hesitated with her partner, but looked over as he approached the double doors. A smile. "I'm sure we'll be fine... I've heard she's usually pretty kind." She puts her hand on the door with her partner, pushing it open as a team.

The only time he really shows any type of negativity is when he is addressed as a women, which irritates him. Description: The user of this jutsu is capable of manipulating and summoning the surrounding spirits, forming them into whatever shape they desire. But a very skilled or master user can conjure a mass of spirits and have them form more complex things, such as a massive wolf or a highly detailed demon or a smog and etc. However, the more complex and larger the form, the more chakra and more chakra control it requires. The spirts themselves are unable to make contact with living creatures but is possible to control and enhance inanimate objects, such as a kunai or a jutsu. Description: This jutsu requires a large amount of chakra and massive amount of chakra control. As the user is performing the hand seals, clouds begin to form over in the skies and begin to move in a spiral motion, with the user being under where the clouds are meeting. There is a small hole in the clouds, allowing a small ray of light to beam down on the user. Then, the clouds that have amassed in the skies above fall down in a tornado, eventually surrounding the user and whomever may be in it. Surprisingly, for such a massive tornado there is very little wind pressure since this is just a prerequisite. The clouds begin to condense and spiral around the user's hand, eventually forming a weapon of their choice (For Shinzui, it is a small fan), which grants the holder supreme control of the surrounding winds. From there, the user can send a giant gust of wind with just a flick of their wrist or several tornados with a swing of their arm.

Shinzui is capable of summoning lizards, 3 species specifically. They are komodo dragons, chameleons and gila lizards, the boss of the lizards being a massive Gila Lizard.
- (Baby Size) Miron: Miron is a relatively small chameleon, able to completely blend into it's surroundings. Despite being a chameleon, Miron is actually quite fast and is easily able to keep watch on unwary opponents. Shinzui mostly uses Miron for recon/spying purposes
- (Medium Size) Furon: Furon is about a horse size komodo dragon, but is actually faster than one. Furon is capable of maneuvering in dense jungles/woodlands with ease. Shinzui mostly uses him for transportation purposes, but also fighting purposes when fighting in areas heavily densed with trees. Furon contains a dangerous neurotoxin in his saliva and on his claws. He's also able to spit out acid from his mouth.
- (Large/Adult Size) Bukon: Bukon is a giant chameleon, about the same size of Pain's. It has the ability to completely blend into it's surroundings, along with all other of the chameleons. If desired, Shinzui can take himself and a small team of shinobi and shelter themselves within Bukon's mouth and travel without being noticed. Bukon is rather slow but is very quiet when compared to the other chameleon's. It also contains a powerful tongue which can extend and wrap around it's opponents, tossing them aside like rag dolls. It also has a powerful but slow tail, which it often uses when invisible
- (Titan/Giant Size) Chamokon: Chamokon is a titan sized komodo dragon which Shinzui uses for combat reasons. It's skin is incredibly durable and its claws and tail are just as equally powerful. Despite Chamokon lacking the venom that most Komodo Dragons have, it makes up for it in its pure raw strength and incredibly sharp teeth.
- (The Boss) Gon: Gon is a massive Gila Monster/Lizard, slightly bigger than Chamokon but much more powerful. Its skin and strength surpasses Chamokon, along with it's experience and knowledge. This is by far Shinzui's summoning and takes up the most jutsu. Gon is also capable of spraying out a fire looking spray from its mouth which is highly acidic and can easily melt clothes and skin if not avoided.

- (Chief Summon1) Wakon: A small, baby size but elderly chameleon. Wakon has a small beard under his lip and is quite rowdy for a chameleon. He usually latches and hides within Shinzui's clothes for protection. Wakon is one of the 2 Chiefs that will teach Shinzui Lizard Sage mode. Wakon has the ability to pass on it's camoflauging skills to Shinzui and will eventually teach him how to completely erase his presence.
- (Chief Summon2) Yakon: Yakon is slightly larger than Wakon, but is Gila Lizard which is strange for it's race. It's about half the length of the usual Gila Lizards at about 1 foot long and rests on Shinzui's shoulder. She is usually critical of Wakon for being to rowdy and sometimes wonder why she ever married him.. Yakon will be the other one to teach Shinzui LIzard Sage mode. Once he learns their jutsu, together they could use Lizard Jutsu to amplify the abilities magnitude.
A small group of kids were playing in a small courtyard, kicking a ball to each other and laughing. They all enjoyed themselves, laughing until they all felt a sudden chill in their spines. One of the children looked back, seeing a feminine looking man with large sparkling eyes, watching them as they played. The child sighed "Let's invite him, he watches us practically every time" A few other children shook their head "No way! He's creepy" The other children laughed as a young girl turned towards him, the man now on his knees and appeared to be sobbing. The young girl ran over over to him with the ball and held it out to him "Excuse me mister" Shinzui looked, his eyes wide. She smiled "D-do you want to play?" Shinzui's eye lit up as he hopped on his feet and nodded "Yes!" The girl was slightly startled by the way the man acted. She laughed afterwards, grabbing his hand and pulling him to play with the others "This is...what's your name mister" He smiled "It's Shin"She smiled and nodded "Shin!" The other children reluctantly welcomed him, playing with him regardless of whether they wanted to or afterwards.
Not too long afterwards, all of the children and Shinzui were laughing. They had warmed up to him very quickly and enjoyed playing with him, but fought over who's team he would be in. Suddenly, a voice could be heard in the distance. Shinzui quickly straightened up "HOKAGE-SAMA!!!" Shinzui sighed, rubbing the head of the young girl who welcomed him. He smiled "Thank you for inviting me, I hope to play with you again some day" He jumped away from them and ran to the shinobi who was calling him. The shinobi was tired and panting "Finally Hokage-same, everyone has been looking for you! Plus, Raiden is furious" Shinzui sighed "Can't you just pretend you didn't see me?"The young shinobi shook her head "Absolutely not! Or I'll be scorned for lying" Shinzui looked back over at the direction of the children "And I was having such a nice day. Well let's go" Shinzui, along with the shinobi, jumped from building top to building top to the Hokage Tower.
Shinzui sat in his office, now wearing his Hokage outfit and filling out paperwork. A knock was heard on the door "Come in" Another shinobi walked in, his face serious. "Hokage, it appears as if we have trespassers on our lands" Shinzui's face quickly became serious "Two missing nin have entered our borders. It seems like they engaged enemy shinobis, but it does not appear as if they are a threat to us as of now. How will you like to deal with the situation?" Shinzui placed down his pencil and spun his chair around, looking at the view from his office "I'll deal with them" The shinobi's eyes widened "Hokage, you can't be serious" Shinzui stood up, a smile on his face "Oh but I am, who knows. These people might be interesting. But I won't go yet, update me of their location and let me know once they're close enough to the village so I won't be gone for too far" The shinobi nodded "Yessir!" He quickly left the room, Shinzui sitting back on his seat, a small smirk forming on his face "I've been cooped up in here for too long. It's about time I have some fun"
Reiko looked up from her paper work,she was dressed in her kage robes and hat, as her door opened and the 2 genin she requested came inside. She took a few seconds to study them first. Both looked capable and had just graduated from the academy meaning that their skill proved adequate enough to become genin. But that wasn't why she called them to her office. To her she saw 2 of her villages, and by proxy her own, children with a great potential to become the strongest of their generation. She studied them for a few more moments before taking off her kage hat revealing her long black hair as she smiled to the 2 genin before her, a nice warming and motherly smile.
"Hello you two, i'm guessing this must seem pretty strange for you, getting called to the Mizukage's office after completing a mission, well you don't have to worry, you're not in trouble." She finished with a large smile as she stood up and walked towards them and kneeling slightly to reach their eye level before speaking once more.
"I've actually decided to take the two of you on as my students, and one day, maybe one of you will gain one of the 7 swords of the mist and lead this village yourself." She said with a large and brightly happy smile to the two genin.
"But that does not mean you are not without choice, so you tell me, do you wish to become my students?" She questioned, her happy smile dropping being replaced with a serious face as she stood back to her full height.
Hibiki caught Neji's death glare but did not recognize it as anything more than arrogance and petty jealousy. It was fairly easy to tell that this was wounded pride; no doubt Neji had been very successful at the academy, or at least more so than Kumiko and this was an affront to that. It really didn't matter to Hibiki - under him, they were all genin and that meant it was his job to teach them.
"Excellent observation. I wanted to know what I was working with. For instance, I can tell that Neji has fire element chakra while the two of you have water like myself based on your preference of jutsu. This lends itself to the three of us being better able to work as a team with cooperative jutsus and techniques but leaves us vulnerable to other assaults. This is where Neji and myself come in. As a fire element, he shores up our weak points and seeing as I can access wind as well, I can further cover our bases. The three of you will no doubt discover another element you are adept with and this will vary your bases even more and allow you to bring more to the team.
"And of course, I wanted to see what skill you had with your kekkai genkai. From the looks of things, Neji knows his very well and so do you Kumiko though you seem to need more practice when it comes to larger uses. As you may have noticed, I have my own that I work with."
As if to emphasize this point, he bit into the blood apple in his hand.
"Which makes me rather knowledgeable about kekkai genkai, as opposed to your usual shinobi, and puts me in a position for you to unlock the greater potential of your own. Of course, I'm no substitute for your clans who hold the secrets, but out in the field, I've got you covered. So that's one reason, and a rather important one at that. And you know one of my hidden goals was to taste your blood. But... what about hidden goals within hidden goals? A shinobi must read the hidden meanings within the hidden meanings after all."
Neji stopped glaring at Hibiki sensei. It wasn't going to change anything. Neji could only blame himself for what happened. He looked over at Kumiko and smiled at her. " hey good job with that Jutsu maybe just try and not hit me with it next time." Neji laughed and little bit. He then looked over at Akihko "hey I'm sorry about that. Think you can help patch me up a little?" Neji looked back at their sensei. "You wanted to see how we would respond to each other and how we would work with each other." Neji sat down as he was still wincing in pain from kumikos jutsu that blasted him into a tree. "We all handled ourselves fine, but we didn't really work as a team at all." Neji sighed as he knew most of that was his fault but he was to proud to admit that at least right now.

Personality: Akihiko used to be a carefree and outspoken child during his childhood. While enrolled in the Ninja academy at Amegakure, he and his sister didn't take their training all too seriously. He was the talkative one of the group, easily making friends with the other students. It was until that he and Kumiko witnessed their father dying in battle that their personalities did a complete 360. He is now a quiet, stoic child that cares for no one other than his sister. He doesn't even care about his aunt, even though she gave them a place to live.

Personality: Kumiko used to be a cheerful and joyous girl during their childhood. While enrolled in the Ninja academy at Amegakure, she and her brother didn't take their training all too seriously. She was not as talkative, but she wasn't invisible to the rest of the crowd. It was until that she and Akihiko witnessed their father dying in battle that their personalities did a complete 360. She is now a mellow, quiet girl who shares similar negative traits as her brother. Kumiko holds some compassion within her, but submits to her brother's demands due to her lack of rebellion. If she is told to do something by him, she'll do it.

Kumiko uttered the smallest of gasps after Neji had praised her for her jutsu, then a smile crossed her features. It was nice to have the other male be forgiving of the fact that he had been hit with one of her strongest attacks; it just made the teen girl feel less guilty about the unintended friendly fire. Even Akihiko gave the Uchiha the smallest of smirks. Neji may have his own goals that revolved around himself, but at least he didn't hold a grudge against unintended attacks. Maybe the two of them could get along. But at the same time, they never knew what the future held.
"Sure, just hold still." He said after patching up the worst of his sister's cuts. Both twins moved back to Neji to begin bandaging the worse of all his cuts. Neji really did take a beating from Kumiko's jutsu, after all.
Both twins began thinking, trying to think of the hidden meaning behind the fact that Hibiki-sensei wanted to see what they could do and tasting their blood. Neji's answer was good, considering the three of them had been all over the place, and there was little to none cooperation. Sure they tried to have a plan, but it all went wrong every time. Next time, they couldn't just keep huddled like that; they'll have to come up with their own strategies that could work in harmony, without verbal communication. "If it's not how well we cooperate together, then I'm stumped, sensei.." Akihiko said as he was patching up Neji's wounds. What other logical reason could there be besides seeing what they could do individually, tasting their blood (which was still incredibly creepy), and seeing how well they can work together? If that wasn't right, then what could be that hidden reason they overlooked?
