Character Sheet

Shizuka skipped out of the building after receiving her mission assignment. "Trim a hedge... huh. That doesn't sound so bad." She said to herself as she went and searched for the home. After almost getting lost twice, she finally found the place. "Well, this is the right address." Eyes dart back and forth for a moment before she spots it; the largest, most overgrown shrub she has ever seen. It was on the side on the house, taller than she was and taking up the entire pathway to the backyard.

There was a note on the door. All it said was 'this is it' with an arrow pointing to the bush. "Must have known I was coming." A set of shears was left learning on the side of the building. After checking to see where the base of the shrubs are, Shizuka picks the shears up and starts trimming on the edge closest to her. After a few minutes, she drops the shears and draws her sword. "Now, this might be a little faster..."

The sword is raised high into the air before being brought down on the bush. She keeps hacking away at the plant, cutting off branches, and then dragging them out of the way of the path. She makes a rather large pile out of the discarded branches before she starts on shortening the bushes. A vertical slash cuts at the top of the shrub, starting to shorten the plant. She repeats the pattern as before and adds the branches to the pile. "Now to finish trimming this thing to make it looks nice..." she mutters to herself as she sheathes the sword.

Shizuka spots the shears under the pile and reaches for them while she gets poked by all the branches in her arms and face. After spending a few more minutes of trimming and rounding the hedge, she finally starts to feel the strength leaving her arms. They had started feeling limp an hour or so ago, but now as she finishes and drops the shears, she can hardly lift her arms. "Okay, all done... mission said he would handle the disposal..." She drug herself back home and laid down on her bed. While she did not intend to go to sleep, she wanted to rest for a bit.
 
For being called the Fire Country, there sure were an awful lot of trees in the area. Masaru preoccupied himself from the hike by examining the goodies he'd found on the Hunter-Nin's bodies. The weapons were nothing to note, but the scrolls - now that he'd have to examine more carefully later. He swiveled his head around to look at Shika, who'd fashioned a small crutch out of a dead branch to help keep the weight off her wounded leg. "How are you holding up?"

"Good." She grunted, not in the mood for small talk. So far, there had been nothing but foliage and the occasional squirrel. They'd gone off-trail to help mask their entry but at times, especially when her crutch got stuck on a particularyl thorny bush, Shika wished they were on the road. That way they could at least keep an eye out for houses or villages to seek help from.

They walked in silence for a long while before the trees finally gave way to grass and dirt and the outline of Konohagakure could be seen in the distance. It was there they could finally rest and rejoin the dirt path - it seemed as if there were no more Hunter-Nin trailing them, for now. Masaru wished he had a map, he would have liked to have seen where they were. He wasn't familiar with Konoha and for now, he remained just as clueless as Shika was.

"House. There!" A simple looking house with a single large tree nearby loomed on the horizon. Shika adjusted her speed accordingly and soon, the duo were in front of their destination. Being here now suddenly made her mouth dry. Suppose a nosy Jounin lived here? She doubted they could take one easily in their current state.

Masaru broke the silence by coughing and calling out, "Is anyone here? We are two injured Hunter-Nin from Kirigakure! If there is any help to be given, we would be very grateful." Although she wasn't looking, Shika could almost see the defiant glint in his eyes. There was no doubt in his voice and it seemed as if he'd be ready for anything. All the same, Shika placed her hand closer to her bow, ready to pull it out at a moment's notice.

The Uchiha boy was tenacious and seemingly more adept than the rest of his team; no doubt a result of the Uchiha clans' training regimen. After all, he had managed to land a hit on Hibiki's water clone. Granted, the clone was only a fraction of his true ability but the jounin hadn't expected one to have a real hit landed on them. It was only further proof that Neji had a bright future ahead of him.

It was easy to pinpoint him, Neji already bleeding some. He was back at ground level, no doubt waiting on Hibiki himself or another clone to come after him; the lucky boy had the real deal scenting his blood. Hibiki burst from the mist behind Neji at a higher speed than his clones ever did, his blade held backwards to rake across Neji's side before leaping off to the side and coming again at a different angle.

Kumiko's dodge had managed to open up her wounds even more and the jounin's eyes widened slightly at the fresh influx of blood. At that time though, she didn't seem to use her pushing jutsu; there was a definitely a time limit on it, seeing as this would have been a good time to use it to deflect the blades of air. There was just enough time. He went through the hand seals needed and thrust forward, a shark of water erupting towards Kumiko as she was distracted.

After she got feeling back in her arms, Shizuka picked herself up off the bed. She was actually quite dirty, but only noticed when she stood up and saw a fine layer of dust on her bed. "Sheesh, who would have thought chopping down a bush would be so dirty." She promised herself that she would clean up after she got paid. You know, probably. Not quite as tired now, she skipped back to where she was assigned her mission. She adjusted her headband so it didn't fall in her eyes. "Uhhh, this is where I get paid, right?" She looks around the room, not sure if this is the right spot. She waves around the mission scroll, as if that would help narrow down everything.

A Semi-tall Jounin behind one of the counters noticed a fresh genin waving around a mission scroll in the air and called her over. "Hey Kid! Over here!" it was when she arrived that he took the scroll from her, read it through, searched through relevant documents nearby, gave it a stamp that said 'Complete' and handed over a pay of 1,000 Ryo and sent her off on her way, wanting to get onto the next one turning in a mission.
 
Yoruichi had woken up earlier than normal in his excitement. He had been in the latest graduating class of ninja in Kirigakure, a genin, finally. He knew he couldn't just stay still so he decided to train for a while in the public training grounds. His training was rather rigorous, focusing primarily on Tessenjutsu and the fluidity of his moves. It was times like this, without stress that his moves were at their most beautiful, almost as if he were a geisha fan dancing, the slightest flick of his wrist twirling the Twin fans in elegant arches.

It was several hours later that he finally decided to take a rest by heading toward the Mizukage's tower for a mission, all the way he couldn't help but fiddle with the sash around his waist that held his protector engraved with the Kirigakure insignia. It was strange being a genin without a team, while it wasn't unheard of it was uncommon, it meant that he could not participate in real missions. Sighing in annoyance, Yoruichi sped up his pace, hoping to receive at least a somewhat interesting mission.

As he entered the tower he was greeted to the sight of the only other squad-less Genin that he knew of, Koizumi, standing in the reward line receiving her money. He sent a timid wave her way before noticing he had been called to receive his mission.

During his training, Yoruichi discovered his affinity with a war fan and has since made it his primary weapon.

Personality: Yoruichi is a rather shy boy, choosing to keep to himself often. Due to the wariness he causes others, he often just stays away from people. Yoruichi is a very independent person, not one to ask for help even when he needs it. He is stubborn and even a little sarcastic when annoyed. When angered, which can occur frequently, all traces of the shy boy are gone and he is vicious. Yoruichi will go for the throat, figuratively and literally when fighting, be it verbal or physical.

Shizuka gladly grabs her reward before she spots another genin waving at her. She just walks on over to him. "Oh, hey! You got stuck without a squad too, huh?" She looks over him for a second. Wasn't this the kind of weird kid that was always keeping to himself? Eh, oh well, not like it mattered. Gotta be friendly to everyone, right? "Well, I have an idea. Why don't we team up for a bit? I'm sure they will find us a squad eventually..." She looks over the missions and bites her lip "We'll likely be put on a squad together, anyway." She turns and smiles at him. "What do ya say? Want to be partners for a while?"
 
Surprised at the blonde actually walking up to him, Yoruichi's eyes widened slightly. It was not often that other students willingly talked to him, so the fact that the kunoichi did was a shock. It was her questioning that made him a bit nervous, he figured she was worried that she would get paired with the 'Bug freak' as some called him. However, his fears were alleviated by her idea to group up since they were probably going to be put into the same squad anyway.


"S-sure, sounds like fun." He murmured, his voice slightly higher than average.


He was often surprised that some didn't mistake him for a girl with his feminine features and too high voice. Not to mention his choice of weapon was far more common with Kunoichi than Shinobi.

It was upon hearing the Jounin's voice that Yoruichi turned his attention away from the girl. He could hear the sympathy in the older male's voice and couldn't help but sigh at the seemingly boring assignments.


"How about the babysitting, that sounds easy enough and somewhat interesting" He asked the blonde, simultaniosly reaching for the scroll that held the information for the mission.


'It's also worth the most Ryo' The purple haired boy thought to himself with a small smile as an adult black and white beetle with very long antennae crawled onto his shoulder. The banded Alder Borer beetle's antennae tickling his cheek enough for him to giggle softly.

Neji with his sharnigan saw something out of the corner of his eye . He could see Hibiki sensei coming he tried dodging him, but this time he could not. He struck by the blade on his side, but the blade did not do much damage. He winced in pain a little as he picked up Hibiki sensei coming at him from anger angle. Neji quickly grabbed some shuriken out of his pocket and jumped into the air. As he was in the air he threw the 2 shuriken down at his sensei. As he was still in the air he made hand signs . "Giant fireball jutsu!" Neji shot off a giant fireball at his sensei after he threw the two shuriken.

Personality: Akihiko used to be a carefree and outspoken child during his childhood. While enrolled in the Ninja academy at Amegakure, he and his sister didn't take their training all too seriously. He was the talkative one of the group, easily making friends with the other students. It was until that he and Kumiko witnessed their father dying in battle that their personalities did a complete 360. He is now a quiet, stoic child that cares for no one other than his sister. He doesn't even care about his aunt, even though she gave them a place to live.

Kumiko mentally kicked herself for losing her focus. She couldn't be a good kunoichi if she couldn't keep her damn focus, but Akihiko was more important than her whole well being. The orange haired teen saw the jutsu coming her way, but it was coming too fast for her to be able to deflect it with the Almighty Push. She was screwed. Kumiko quickly crossed her arms in front of her upper torso and face, trying to keep the shark from causing too much damage on her eyes and skull. Like Akihiko, she was hit by the jutsu, more cuts, bruises, and other injuries her brother obtained now on her but in different locations.

She nods affirmatively. "Sure, we can do that, you ever babysit before? I used to for my younger sister." Her eyes glanced over him before they stopped on the bug for a moment. 'Oh right, he was the bug guy.' She thought to herself. Always seemed to keep to himself, and she wondered why that was. 'Probably none of my business.'

"Really, I'm just glad I don't have another battle with an A-rank shrub again. That thing was massive." 'After this, I may need to go shopping. See what new tools I can buy.' She gave him a large smile and looked him right in the eyes. "It will be nice working with you, I'm sure. I just can't wait until we can get a full squad going." She quickly bounds over to the exit, waiting for him to come with the scroll.

Past: Born to a pair of average Shinobi, Yoruichi was orphaned at the young age of only a year old. The Kirigakure orphanage being as it was, he had a rather tough life. At the age of five he ran away, never staying in one part of the village for too long. It was only when he entered the academy that he realized he was a bit different from other people. He always attracted insects and other bugs. It made people wary of him especially the other students but, still he tried his best to ignore their jeering and focus on his training. During his training, Yoruichi discovered his affinity with a war fan and has since made it his primary weapon.

Personality: Yoruichi is a rather shy boy, choosing to keep to himself often. Due to the wariness he causes others, he often just stays away from people. Yoruichi is a very independent person, not one to ask for help even when he needs it. He is stubborn and even a little sarcastic when annoyed. When angered, which can occur frequently, all traces of the shy boy are gone and he is vicious. Yoruichi will go for the throat, figuratively and literally when fighting, be it verbal or physical.

It was true, since as long as he could remember insects and other bugs have felt comfortable if not drawn to him. Noticing his slip of tongue, Yoruichi simply pet the small insect on his shoulder, careful of his strength with the surprisingly fragile exoskeleton. Steeling his resolve to get over this insecurity with his future teammate, he added,

To say that he was surprised with the Jounin's roughness would be an understatement. However, he did his best not to let it show how aggravated he was at the man. Taking a small breath in, the young bug lover simply accepted the scroll and walked next to his partner.

"Get ready for a bumpy ride." He mumbled with a roll of his eyes as he opened the scroll.

"Looks like were babysitting Mr. Kagano's two kids. One boy, seven and a girl of four."

Minori yawned as he waltzed through the streets of morning Konoha. He had just finished and turned in his second D rank mission of the day: weeding a kindly old lady's garden. Though it definitely wasn't as entertaining as the mission he'd used to start his day off, being able to just sit back and relax as he uprooted some invasive flora definitely beat having to grapple with a rowdy pet that fled from its owner's possession. Admittedly, the latter was a very good way to muster the energy to start your day off, if mildly painful. But a little pain wouldn't stop him one bit! Sacrifices had to be made for the greater good - and enough pocket change to last him the week - right? A few scrapes and scratches here and there wasn't much in the face of what other people had given up...

Nevermind that. Minori shook his head to, in turn, shake away his thoughts. Not good to dwell on bad things. Better to think positive, especially before training. Speaking of which, there were the Barracks. Transitioning into a light jog towards the building, Minori thought on what exactly he wanted to improve on. 'Guess I should probably be working on my Ninjutsu, but I also haven't practice Taijutsu today... But then again...' he felt at his back for the tanto he carried around with him, 'Should also probably figure how to use this thing properly if I wanna do any good with it... Hmm...' He shrugged before reaching the training area proper. "Might as well just wing it," he decided before getting to work...

She laughed when he made the larvae comment. "No, probably not much harder, at least with kids you know what they want." As they left the mission room, she had a comment to add. "Sheesh, what was that guy's problem?" She points back to the mission assignment are, but he just must have been having a bad day. After all, why would you treat a poor genin like that after giving him a terrible assignment?

"Ech, two children might be a bit harder. I have a feeling the four year old might be a bit of a problem..." Shizuka bit her lip before she stopped walking and felt on her back, grabbing at her sword. "You think we might be a little over-armed for babysitting?" The sword fell off her back and she caught it, holding it in its sheathe at her side. "Yeah, I may want to drop this off at home. I cannot see a sword during baby-sitting going well."
 
Watching Neji jump to avoid his second strike, Hibiki twisted in midair to strike a second time only to see the flash of metal in the genin's hand. Rather than strike, he maneuvered his blade into the path of the shuriken, catching a hand seal as he did. Flicking his wrist, the blade ratcheted out, the steel deflecting the shuriken as it embedded itself in a nearby tree. Another flick retracted it but the sturdy tree held fast to the blade so instead he was pulled towards the tree, missing the fireball jutsu Neji had sent downward.

Wrenching the blade free once he had landed, his feet planted firmly on the trunk, he bounded off again at the airborne Neji. The hand holding the blood apple whipped back before thrusting forward and releasing the blood in a barrage of kunai directly at the Uchiha boy.

Seeing Kumiko still standing after weathering his latest assault, he grinned. This one had more stength than the other, Or she was just stubborn. Either way, another dose was needed. Something not quite so sharp though. His hands went through the seals quickly before unleashing another fusillade of water bullets at the younger Uzumaki. As soon as they had left him, he moved in slowly towards Kumiko.

"You can stand down or I can blast you again; your choice. I don't want you dying on me."

Neji still in the air saw as a barrage of kunai came flying through the air at him. Neji with his sharnigan could predict where each kunai blade was going. Neji smirked as he grabbed his kunai blade and threw it hitting one of Hibiki senseis kunai and knocking it out of the air. He then dodged most of the other kunai, but one blade seemed to almost change directin on neji and by the time he noticed it was to late. It struck his leg and he got a cut that started to bleed a little. He fell to the ground and he struggled to get up, but he did. He stood there waiting to see what Hibiki's next move would be.

Kumiko was not as strong as her brother, but she was more stubborn than him. Akihiko had more control over her than Hibiki even knew, which made him the better ninja when putting the two against one another in battle. The orange haired teen kept standing, panting lightly after having put up such an attack. Anything as strong as that and she would be down. The only choice she had now was the Almighty Push, but not just the normal one, a huge one. That was more dangerous (and something her brother would do), since she didn't know if Akihiko and Neji would be able to get out of the way when it came. Not only that, but she didn't have as much control as she would like; this devastating push could result in Chakra exhaustion.

"Hibiki-sensei..." She put her open palm out towards the jutsu. "I refuse to give up so easily.." 'Akihiko and Neji.. Please get out of the way or behind something..' "Almighty Push.." She murmured, feeling the sting of accidentally using more Chakra than she would have liked.

Akihiko, upon sensing that Kumiko was using a large amount of Chakra for the push, got up immediately and ran for cover. 'Come on Uchiha...' He exclaimed inwardly. Kumiko and Akihiko were trusting that Neji would get out of the way or behind something sturdy, because even Kumiko didn't know the results of this push. The teen wouldn't have used such a force, but when she felt like she was cornered, especially by someone as creepy as Hibiki-sensei, she would take drastic measures.
