Personality: Akihiko used to be a carefree and outspoken child during his childhood. While enrolled in the Ninja academy at Amegakure, he and his sister didn't take their training all too seriously. He was the talkative one of the group, easily making friends with the other students. It was until that he and Kumiko witnessed their father dying in battle that their personalities did a complete 360. He is now a quiet, stoic child that cares for no one other than his sister. He doesn't even care about his aunt, even though she gave them a place to live.

Both Akihiko and Kumiko were back on their feet, and before they knew it, Neji had enveloped their sensei in a smoke bomb. This, in turn, made the eldest of the twins sigh. "Damn it.." He murmured to himself before his sister looked at him. "I couldn't tell him what I had in mind, and now he's gone in there by himself. We can't see through that smoke as well as he can, so we're at a huge risk to hit him instead of sensei. Damn Uchiha.. Well, if that Sharingan of his can see Chakra, this is a risk we'll just have to take. Kumiko, use that field jutsu of yours. If sensei is distracted with Neji, he won't think to look down. Hopefully that Uchiha can see it with those eyes of his..."

"Right." She murmured, but before she could perform the jutsu, Neji had come out of the smoke and to Akihiko's side. This, once again, made the eldest twin sigh once more.

'That's one more plan down the drain.. This Uchiha is more troublesome than he thinks.' He thought to himself before answering. "No shit, he's a Jonin for a reason. We obviously can't fight him one on one, so we have to cooperate as a team." He stressed the last words, considering Neji had been going against their sensei by himself. "Hibiki-sensei is smart, he'll see right through our attacks. We'll just have to go with your plan and rush him from all sides. Try not to hit each other in the process." He said. Considering both of his own plans couldn't be executed, Akihiko decided that they would just have to go with one of Neji's.
 
Neji looked up at Akihiko, and
Neji knew he had messed up and it made the elder uzumaki upset. Neji sighed "I'm sorry Akihiko I shouldn't have rushed into battle like that, I knew I couldn't take him one on one." Neji looked at their Sensai who stood there untouched and not making a sweat at all.

"I was thinking that I should attack from the front Akihiko if you can make a clone then you and your clone should each take a side and then your sister Kumiko should attack from the rear. It's not the best plan but it's the only plan that we got."

Neji had never worked with a team before so this was all new to him.
 
As the smoke cleared to reveal Hibiki's water clone, he stepped up beside it, both of them revealing their sharp teeth in malicious grins. There seemed to be nothing off about them, copies of each other down to the last detail, not even a mark where Neji's attack had surely landed.

"Well, have the genin thought of a plan?" they called out in unison. "Or will they follow the Uchiha boy's example?"

He wasn't about to give them any more of a chance though. Both clone and jounin drew their weapons and came at the trio of genin, all four blades lashing out at the genin in a bladed waltz.

"Or maybe you can bleed a little more for me..."

Akihiko didn't stay angry at the Uchiha for too long, since he knew the error of his ways. "Water under the bridge." He murmured before adding. "Sounds good-" It was then that there was Hibiki-sensei emerging from the cloud of smoke, and another one standing next to each other. Nothing about them seemed off, which meant the trio was screwed until they found out which one was the real one. Nothing seemed to be going Akihiko's way, which meant he would have to have a change of plan ready each and every time. Kumiko grabbed both boys' collars and pulled them away from their sensei's blades and close behind her. It was her last bet just to get him and his clone away. She quickly put her hand forward, her open palm facing her sensei with the intent of pushing him back. Even adding more Chakra to strengthen the force.

"Almighty Push." She murmured.

'Hmmm... Well played,' Hibiki thought as Kumiko's jutsu hit him and his clone.

Both went flying back from the genin, the clone bursting into water as Hibiki's blades retracted back into their katana shape. Flipping in midair, he came to land on both feet, his blades sheathed. Gathering his hands in the tiger seal, the water from the dispersed water clone began to rise into pearlescent mist.

"Still no mark on me Uzumaki but well done," his voice called out from the encroaching mists. "It seems you have more to offer your team than pretty eyes and silent contemplation. What of the other two though? Can they offer as much?"

As he spoke, Hibiki was gathering even more chakra and now, hidden in the mist, were another two Water Clones, all three of them with the same sardonic grin of the original. The genin had a lot of promise - this was certain. The Uchiha was not unused to his Sharingan and it seemed that Kumiko had some control over her Rinnegan as well. However, none of them had shown any aptitude with any skills. That was, of course, the primary reason for Hibiki's challenge; he wanted to actually see what these three were capable of, not just personally but as a team.

"Come on in, the mist is fine," he taunted as the mist began creeping into the forest.

Neji was pulled back back kumiko as he watched her jutsu. Neji was in shock but then smirked a little. "Well that must be some of the power from the famed rinnegan that you are lucky to possess Kumiko." Neji then looked as mist had engulfed all of them. Neji looked towards where his Sensai was with his sharingan "ahh I it's hidden mist jutsu I can't see anything in there even with my sharingan. I have no idea what he has going on inside of there." Neji stood there and thought as he tried coming up with a plan of attack.

Kumiko didn't say anything in response to her sensei or her teammate, but she already knew the Almighty Push was not enough to at least leave a mark on the other man. What more could they do? Akihiko instantly recognized the tiger sign, considering he knew the jutsu as well, and the mist that formed made it all the more obvious. All that mist, and a sensei who is equally powerful as he is creepy. Getting a mark on this man was going to be even more difficult the team thought it would be, and they already thought it would be difficult as is.

"Even you can't see through that mist.. Our best bet is to lure him out...So long as he's in there, we're at a disadvantage. Universal Pull might help draw him out..but there's a problem." He murmured to his team. "If we get Kumiko to use it, Hibiki-sensei might have another trick under his sleeve. How do we know he won't start throwing his weapons at us while he's being pulled in?" The burnt orange haired team said to his teammates. Their sensei always had a trick up his sleeve, and Kumiko just might end up not being able to pull her target out. If all three of them went in blindly, the risks were dangerously high. They were at a disadvantage no matter what they did.

Near the Border of Fire Country
It was as Shika Yukimura and her partner Masaru Goya were nearing the border to fire country when all of a sudden a series of Kunai came from the tree's above and Shuriken came from the bushes near them!
 
Two hours had passed into the day and Uzuki had returned to her tree. She figured now was the perfect time to work on her art. She mostly liked to do black and white pictures/paintings, but occasionally she liked to add a pop of color. She drew out some blackish purple ink from her skin, something she learned to do a long time ago. She had never understood why, yet here she was. Painting with her own posionous blood.

After collecting enough ink, she set it in a small bowl. With a sigh, Uzuki began to finger paint Yoko and she smiled as she did so because her cousin was just.. so breathtaking. She made sure she got ever detail- from the burnt tips of her shoulder-length silky brown hair, to the scars that caressed her pale neck and right cheek. With the outline being done, Uzuki took out some small paints. She used a thin paintbrush to color in the Sakura pink of Yoko's lips and the tinted summer blush that always dusted her high cheekbones. When that was over with, she took out what looked like a stamp and began to fill in the deep crimson color the two cousins shared as eyes. The portrait was now complete.

Satisfied with her work, Uzuki hung the picture on the tree to dry, dumped out her ink, and put away her art supplies. She climbed off of the tree and slid quietly back into her house, where she began to make lunch for Yoko and her mother.
 
"Little genin running about

Hibiki's words flitted in and out of the mist as it continued to spread out, his taunt encircling his students to where it came from multiple directions in unison. Just then Neji picked up something with his sharnigan it was some sore of chakra coming at them from all multiple directions. "Guys watch out." Neji said as he pushed the two uzumakis down to the ground. As he did that he got struck by some of those sensai's water bullets. Neji stayed standing but was in some pain.

There was no sorrow or regret in their farewells to the Land of Noodles. Although it had proved to be a safe haven for their brief stay, it was too close to Kirigakure to lengthen their stay. It was for the best - Shika was convinced that if the noodles didn't kill them first, the boredom would. As they approached the very outskirts of town, where the shops gave way to trees and the dirt path into grass, Shika found herself being briefed one more time on what to do. Masaru sure liked to hear himself speak - some of the tactics he went through were so basic that even Genin would be able to pull it off.

"Alright. Now, remember that we can never be too careful. Although the Fire Country may not be seeking us out, we should still avoid all Shinobi from Jounin rank and up. No doubt their Bingo Books have been updated by now." Shika felt a morbid curiosity grow over her as she thought about her bounty. How much was her life worth to Kirigakure? She couldn't check, as her Bingo Book hadn't been updated since they'd left the village. "And also," Masaru reached up and tugged off his headband, "we should throw these away. We don't want to cause any unnecessary suspicion."

Shika instinctively clutched at her headband, fingers tracing the engraved metal. It proved difficult to pull off, the simple knots suddenly becoming tighter and tangled in her hands. She'd never changed it before, let alone throw it off. It still held all the scratches from the Chunin Exams, missions, accidents - it was like an extension of herself. She was saved from answering however, by the rustling of the bushes along with the whistling of the wind. The sound of an attack, not unlike the ambush that had exiled them. It appeared Masaru had heard it as well, as he pointed towards the treeline before initiating his hand seals.

It wasn't quick thinking that saved them. Shika's arms moved on their own accord, conditioned to react through the missions she'd completed through the years. Tiger. Boar. Ox. Dog. Snake. Her hands flipped through the seals before she replaced her body with a log, and the thunks of the weapons hitting the wood signalled her Body Replacement Technique to be successful. Masaru had done so as well, though he seemed to be more collected than she was. Blood pulsed through her head and it took a few moments before she heard his words. "An attack. Most probably from the Hunter-Nin."

He didn't seem fazed at all. Masaru formed the Tiger hand seal before expelling a thick mist from his mouth. It rolled throughout the area, thoroughly obscuring their vision. He nudged Shika's shoulder. Normally she'd have followed through with her signature Violent Wind's Melody but the attack seemed to have unhinged her mentally. "There's no time to reminisce. Hurry up - if they really are Hunter-Nin, no doubt they've seen this technique before."

At his blunt tone Shika seemed to snap out of it some, frowning before her hands began to move. Dog, Horse, Dragon and Bird before the wind began to violently scream in their ears. Masaru pulled out a few kunai but he was confident his companion would take them out before he had to use them. He watched as she nocked an arrow to her bow and they waited in the bushes for their enemies to make a move.

The hidden enemies watched as mist started to slowly crawl over the landscape before reacting. They jumped down just as one finished their hand seals and called out "Wind Style-Great Breakthrough!" and the mist dissipated due to the violent winds, revealing 3 B-Rank hunter nin, all wearing white masks with a semblance of different colored waves splashed onto them and Kirigakure's village symbol shown proudly on their forehead, all of them wearing the standard hunter nin uniform from Kirigakure (Haku's outfit).

Almost immediately after spotting their 2 targets 2 of the B-Rank hunter nin split off to intercept them while 1 stayed behind and started doing hand seals once more as the other 2 threw a combination of kunai and shuriken in tandem, hoping to pierce their targets, kill them swiftly, burn their bodies, and return home happily.
 
Masaru and Shika hunkered down into the brush as the wind blew over them, rustling the leaves and their clothes. Their opponents were no ordrinary ninja, having blown away Masaru's technique and causing Shika to end hers. She'd need the chakra for her arrows.

"Hunter-Nin!" Masaru shouted out. "From Kirigakure!" Once more, they were faced with a barrage of shuriken and kunai but this time, being prepared for their attack, they were able to leap aside instead of using their Body Replacement Techniques. However, this meant that they were split apart from each other, making their teamwork irrelevant.

Dog. Bird. Dragon. Bird. Horse. Bird. Shika felt the familiar air rush about her arrows, signalling the jutsu was ready for use. She growled before she let her arrow loose at her assailant. Hopefully the hunter-nin would not see the cloned arrows before him but she doubted it, being a known Jounin of Kirigakure. Quickly aiming another arrow before firing it off, she shouted over at Masaru. "Take the one using ninjutsu! I'll kill these two!"

Masaru had suffered a small scratch on his calf, being slower than his friend. It bled slightly but it was enough to let him know the caliber of his opponents. Shika's words had barely passed her lips before he nodded and prepared his counter-attack. Backtracking a bit to stall his attacker until Shika drew his attention, he began the hand-seals for the Kage Bunshin.

A simple tiger hand seal allowed him to draw out five shadow clones, which all began to rush towards the one performing the hand seals. Masaru drew out a handful of shuriken, which he threw at his enemy in an attempt to distract him. If successful, he'd use the time to carry out the thirteen hand seals needed for his Sudden Drowning Illusion. If not, he'd jump back to continue observing the situation.

Both Uzumakis found themselves on the ground, Neji taking some of the hits their sensei threw at them. The fall did cause the cut he gained to open more, but that didn't matter. Neji was right, staying huddled was going to lead to their inevitable doom on the battlefield. Their sensei didn't even have to try, Akihiko was just about certain that they weren't going to get a mark on him today, but that didn't mean they wouldn't be able to do it in the future. "We know. We don't have a choice, we have to go in that mist and separate. Kumiko, you know what to do if he gets too close to you." The eldest twin told his sister, who nodded once. Deflect all oncoming attacks with the Almighty Push. If staying together wasn't the case, then they'd have to rely on their own senses and hope they don't die. "He'll see right through us if we send in a bunch of clones." Akihiko gestured Neji to enter, though they couldn't enter at the same place. Akihiko was going to enter from a different location as was Kumiko. What more could they do? Change into Hibiki copies and send clones of themselves in there? Hibiki-sensei would tell who were clones and who were the real ones. Their last hope was to follow crimson red hair, and hope their sensei couldn't see in the mist too.
 
Hibiki couldn't see exactly what was happening but he could feel it in their blood - Akihiko had sustained a bit more damage, his blood spilling on the ground from the cut earlier. He could not suppress the grin that came with the thought of spilling more blood. Neji though... he could already sense the blood welling up beneath the skin in several bruises from the bullets he had taken; it seemed as though he had taken the brunt of the jutsu.

He and his clones began to walk along the perimeter of the small clearing that the genin were left in, the mist beginning to creep towards them.

Neji sighed "okay you're right let's go and get this over with." Neji toon a gulp and with his sharnigan activated and a kunai blade in his hand went into the mist. Neji carefully went looking into the mist for his sensei. Neji could not see anything and even with his sharnigan couldn't find his sensei.

The Hunter Nin from Kirigakure
The 5 clones and shuriken heading towards the Hunter nin performing hand seals did not deter him, it was proven why this was so when the shuriken and clones got near that a secondary barrage of kunai came from another set of bushes nearby that clashed with the shuriken deflecting them from the one making hand seals while they were also able to dispel 2 of the 5 clones pre-maturely, the last 3 proven to be too skill to be dispelled by simple kunai. A 4th and final hunter nin, thus completing their squad, appeared from those same bushes and rushed towards the last 3 clones with a tant-o drawn out and into their right hand while the 3rd finished his hand-seals and shouted out "Fire Style-Phoenix Flower Jutsu!" before placing his fingers in a circle position in front of his mouth before blowing outwards, releasing 6 medium sized fireballs, 3 of which were heading towards the last 3 clones while the other 3 headed after their creator.

---Meanwhile With Shika---

Shika's arrow along with it's windy clones had been dodged fairly easily but the hunter nin did not expect to see another behind the first barrage which quickly pierced and went through his neck, killing him while he choked on his own blood. Shika had also successfully drawn the other hunter nin's attention who was now darting towards her, poisoned claws now visible on his hands, showing that he wanted to get up close and personal and hopefully poison his target.

Akihiko and Kumiko entered the mist, separated from one another. The eldest held a kunai in his hand and his sister held one palm out, prepared to perform Almighty Push if needed. Hibiki-sensei was within the perimeters of the mist, which made them all the more cautious. The small wound on the eldest's ear didn't hurt, but was more itchy than anything. He made sure to watch out for anything that didn't have orange hair or dark hair with red eyes. He didn't want to hit his teammates, so he had to be extra careful and keen to his senses.

'Now where could he be..?' He thought to himself, gripping the kunai's handle tightly.
 
Hibiki focused in on Akihiko himself, drawn in by the feel of blood and therefore had a direct view of him, no matter how slight. He maneuvered through the mists easily, his clones just as silent as he was before he pounced on Akihiko, coming in from above with a chainblade in hand and a wild look in his eyes and a matching grin.

Elsewhere in the mist, one of Hibiki's water clones came upon Neji. Dropping down into a crouch to reduce visibility, he waited until Neji's cautious footsteps shifted in the direction opposite him before he started making the hand seals: Snake - Rabbit - Horse - Boar. Supersonic blast of air from his hands rocketed forth directly at Neji like sharp needles.

Still elsewhere, the second of Hibiki's water clones listened for Akihiko's footsteps. Focusing in on them, he drew out four kunai. Taking careful aim, he tossed one ahead of her, one to her left, another to her far left and one just behind her. Smirking, he formed the signs for another water bullet and sent it rocketing towards the younger Uzumaki.
