Murder Game XI: The War of the Universe

Walking into the club like she owned the place was Junko Enoshima. She gingerly touched at her right shoulder before crossing her arms and looking out at the crowd.

"Yeah, they are not leaving me behind like I'm some damsel in distress. Forget that-- I'm not missing out on a night at the club."

Junko needed to find some new fans.​

Chapter Three
"Asari for the Inconvenience"

The votes had come in and the majority had spoken. "So, Eden lives? Fine, now let's get the hell out of here." Shepard would go up to the mainframe and start putting in directives. "It's time to wake up, people. Knowing my luck, this is going to be a bumpy ride." With a press of the button the group's entire world turn black.

When they regained consciousness, they'd find themselves back in Vault 112 laying in their opened pods. Mordin was wandering around checking on everyone.

"Vitals normal. Interesting. UN will pick you up shortly. Suggest not go wander outside. Bad air."

You could see new faces among the group as well. Junko was talking to Shepard about something that you couldn't quite hear, though with how Junko was emoting it seemed to be quite serious at least from her part. She absently touched at her right shoulder, where one could now see bandages just under Junko's uniform. Dawnstar was standing next to Starman, taking support from her fellow Legion member. Who knows how long she had been trapped inside? Some of the pods however remained sealed, no doubt individuals that had perished inside Eden like that Elizabeth Comstock individual.

It was then that a rather familiar looking figure stepped out of one of the pods. She seemed to stumble a little, clearly not having stood up in awhile now... in this body that is, before she brushed her hair away from her face, gazing upon the other occupants who have also been freed from Eden. She seemed to be smiling a little about something, though, it was uncertain exactly what that was.

"I'm glad it was decided... That Eden would live on," she said, rubbing her arms and legs, seeming to be trying to get blood flowing to her limbs again. "And yes... I'm Faith Connors, and long ago... I was one of the first to be pulled into Eden." A distant look crossed her face as she seemed to recall her arrival in Eden... And eventually her choice. "I... Was one of the few who chose to stay, and live out the rest of my life... With someone who couldn't quite leave... Like we can." It seemed that by leaving Eden intact, they hadn't just preserved the lives of the AI that lived within, but also the bonds that those who chose to stay in Eden had shared with them. "I know the risks of keeping Eden intact... However, even then... Thank you... For allowing people like me... A chance to live on in Eden."

Despite how wonderful it seemed to exit Eden for the time being, it looked like Faith was intending to return, she stepped towards the pod she had stepped out of moments before, seeing that those around her had places to go... Much like she once had countless years ago, when she was much different than she was now. "I'm afraid this is where we say goodbye... Until we meet again, one way or another," Faith said, shrugging a little, uncertain about whether or not she'd encounter those in front of her again, but nonetheless, she gave everyone a small smile and a little wave before she entered her pod again. Soon, she was back in Eden, but this time, it was by her own choice.

A sliver of light appeared in the middle of the room and shimmered. After a moment, it disappeared, Boba Fett taking its place. He had returned, and it was confirmed he held no trace of Reaper indoctrination.

A group of civilians would have been gathered at one place waiting for UN extraction. Shepard seemed to be done with her talk with Junko and signaled for the Normandy group to gather up.

"We'll be leaving these people behind for the United Nations to pick up so they can do what they do and send them back where they belong. I imagine they'll seal this place up if they can. We on the other hand, are finally getting off this hellhole of a planet to continue our mission to stop the Reapers. And one of our new recruits might just be what we've been searching for. Dawnstar?"

On uneasy feet Dawnstar would come up in front of the group. "As a native of Starhaven, I have powers that can help us track down our prey and put a stop to this. The problem is that I would need something of Elliot's to be able to set my sights on him... and I am far too weak to do anything. I was trapped in Eden for so long... and this world is like fire on my skin..."

Shepard would put her hand on Dawnstar's shoulder. "Like you said, you can't do anything in the condition you're in. What we need is information, and I know exactly where we're going to get that information. Double time back to the Normandy, people. Anyone who can't walk, you help. We're heading back to my universe because we're going to go on a little trip to a place called Omega."

Soon enough all necessary preparations had been dealt with and the Normandy was flying off back into space. A brief trip between universes later, they would be at their destination.

Omega, a den of scum and villainy, led by a woman called Aria T'Loak. Shepard had surmised if someone knew of anything valuable regarding Elliot, it would be Aria.

Docking on Omega, the entire group would leave with Shepard, Garrus, Steve, and Kaidan of the original Normandy crew among them would head towards the Afterlife Club, Aria's base of operation.

Which such a huge group heading toward the club, a bouncer was ready to step in before he noticed that Shepard was in the lead and would let them quietly enter with out any fuss. You would've heard the music pumping almost a block away but outside the establishment it already felt like you were part of the party.

Once inside Shepard would turn to face the group, doing her best to speak over the music. "I'm going to try and find Aria, which means I'm going to leave you guys alone here. Don't drink anything the bartenders serve you. Don't start any fights and-- most importantly-- don't embarrass me. Once I've found and talked to Aria, I'll call for you, but before that just... try not to die." With that, she was off to find the ruler of Omega.

"She was mostly joking... but really, try not to die," Garrus quipped.

Kaidan sighed and opted to follow Shepard into the crowd. Steve shrugged and gestured toward the bar.

"Drinks or not, I love this place. It's got a real energy to it. I say we all take a moment to relax while the Commander gets us some intel."

It seemed like the group was free to explore the Afterlife Club until Shepard came back. Who knows, perhaps they would have a good time?

Well... This place was new to Emmeryn. She had never seen anything like it. Emmeryn adjusted her crown, and looked around the place.

Having never really had much of a good time at bars in the past, he wasn't exactly sure of what to do, "Anyone got any ideas for what they want to do? I have a feeling we shouldn't start drinking right now."

The girl woke up from her pod, confused on what happened. She got up to find Deemo.

The girl couldn't find Deemo. Deemo wasn't in any pod.

Where did he go?

The girl began searching around when she found Deemo, appearing out of nowhere.

"Where did you go?" Please don't leave so suddenly Deemo...

Broly could sense the uneasiness his presence had on these two. Perhaps it was for the better that they felt this way. Afraid of him, afraid of what he could possibly do. It seemed to be the default reaction for anyone interacting with the saiyan since he was a young boy and blew up his first planet in a fit of maniacal rage. But he was no longer a child and these fools were the ones who'd dwell out this aforementioned 'judgement' onto him for what he had done to the Adds.

Lowering himself onto the floor once more, Broly huffed as he stepped forward while staring down at Carth. The regalia that Broly had in his attire didn't give off the image of a savage beast like he often acted as but a deity-like figure which given his prominence to unintentionally give into his saiyan blood might as well have been the case.

But he had been bested by that child's power and spared by that creature in the mechanical suit. He'd see just what kind of judgement there was to be handed out for the likes of him.

"...Get it over with."

"Not one for words, huh? Well, fine by me either way. Let's get this over with indeed," Carth nodded in agreement to Broly's curt statement, seemingly more eager to get Broly out of here than he was with Fett, as though the sheer power that Broly let off was enough to intimidate the Republic soldier.

If Akane was intimidated as well, she did a surprisingly good job at not showing it for the time being. With that being said, she would wordlessly press a button on her terminal when Carth would give the signal, and with that, a number of lights and formless beams would appear, moving about and harmlessly scanning Broly's body, as though attempting to scan for any physical signs of Reaper indoctrination on him. A few seconds into the scan, the terminal would suddenly beep rapidly, a red light flashing in Akane's face as her expression turned deathly serious, the young woman glancing uneasily at Carth.

"H-How strong is the containment barrier around him again?"

"Uh... It went out after five shots from my modified blaster."

"... Uh-oh."

"... Why? Don't tell me this brutish nerf-herder is...!"

"Y-Yeah. This man... is one of the Reaper Signals. In other words, he's a Traitor!"

Carth froze for a minute, before his eyes would suddenly widen in great concern as he would take a step backward, hesitantly looking in Broly's direction.

"Blast, what if he's still under Elliot's immediate indoctrination?! We don't have the firepower to stand up against him!"

"Stay calm, Mr. Carth! I'm sure that if he was, we wouldn't be here to even be wary of him at the moment!" She said, before facing Broly, trying her best to keep a cool composure, though it was evident that her legs were shaking a bit as she would face the Saiyan, "I-Isn't that right? You'd have much more interest in fighting someone who claimed they were able to control you rather than people like us, right?"

Chapter Three
"Asari for the Inconvenience"

The votes had come in and the majority had spoken. "So, Eden lives? Fine, now let's get the hell out of here." Shepard would go up to the mainframe and start putting in directives. "It's time to wake up, people. Knowing my luck, this is going to be a bumpy ride." With a press of the button the group's entire world turn black.

When they regained consciousness, they'd find themselves back in Vault 112 laying in their opened pods. Mordin was wandering around checking on everyone.

"Vitals normal. Interesting. UN will pick you up shortly. Suggest not go wander outside. Bad air."

You could see new faces among the group as well. Junko was talking to Shepard about something that you couldn't quite hear, though with how Junko was emoting it seemed to be quite serious at least from her part. She absently touched at her right shoulder, where one could now see bandages just under Junko's uniform. Dawnstar was standing next to Starman, taking support from her fellow Legion member. Who knows how long she had been trapped inside? Some of the pods however remained sealed, no doubt individuals that had perished inside Eden like that Elizabeth Comstock individual.

It was then that a rather familiar looking figure stepped out of one of the pods. She seemed to stumble a little, clearly not having stood up in awhile now... in this body that is, before she brushed her hair away from her face, gazing upon the other occupants who have also been freed from Eden. She seemed to be smiling a little about something, though, it was uncertain exactly what that was.

"I'm glad it was decided... That Eden would live on," she said, rubbing her arms and legs, seeming to be trying to get blood flowing to her limbs again. "And yes... I'm Faith Connors, and long ago... I was one of the first to be pulled into Eden." A distant look crossed her face as she seemed to recall her arrival in Eden... And eventually her choice. "I... Was one of the few who chose to stay, and live out the rest of my life... With someone who couldn't quite leave... Like we can." It seemed that by leaving Eden intact, they hadn't just preserved the lives of the AI that lived within, but also the bonds that those who chose to stay in Eden had shared with them. "I know the risks of keeping Eden intact... However, even then... Thank you... For allowing people like me... A chance to live on in Eden."

Despite how wonderful it seemed to exit Eden for the time being, it looked like Faith was intending to return, she stepped towards the pod she had stepped out of moments before, seeing that those around her had places to go... Much like she once had countless years ago, when she was much different than she was now. "I'm afraid this is where we say goodbye... Until we meet again, one way or another," Faith said, shrugging a little, uncertain about whether or not she'd encounter those in front of her again, but nonetheless, she gave everyone a small smile and a little wave before she entered her pod again. Soon, she was back in Eden, but this time, it was by her own choice.

A sliver of light appeared in the middle of the room and shimmered. After a moment, it disappeared, Boba Fett taking its place. He had returned, and it was confirmed he held no trace of Reaper indoctrination.

A group of civilians would have been gathered at one place waiting for UN extraction. Shepard seemed to be done with her talk with Junko and signaled for the Normandy group to gather up.

"We'll be leaving these people behind for the United Nations to pick up so they can do what they do and send them back where they belong. I imagine they'll seal this place up if they can. We on the other hand, are finally getting off this hellhole of a planet to continue our mission to stop the Reapers. And one of our new recruits might just be what we've been searching for. Dawnstar?"

On uneasy feet Dawnstar would come up in front of the group. "As a native of Starhaven, I have powers that can help us track down our prey and put a stop to this. The problem is that I would need something of Elliot's to be able to set my sights on him... and I am far too weak to do anything. I was trapped in Eden for so long... and this world is like fire on my skin..."

Shepard would put her hand on Dawnstar's shoulder. "Like you said, you can't do anything in the condition you're in. What we need is information, and I know exactly where we're going to get that information. Double time back to the Normandy, people. Anyone who can't walk, you help. We're heading back to my universe because we're going to go on a little trip to a place called Omega."

Soon enough all necessary preparations had been dealt with and the Normandy was flying off back into space. A brief trip between universes later, they would be at their destination.

Omega, a den of scum and villainy, led by a woman called Aria T'Loak. Shepard had surmised if someone knew of anything valuable regarding Elliot, it would be Aria.

Docking on Omega, the entire group would leave with Shepard, Garrus, Steve, and Kaidan of the original Normandy crew among them would head towards the Afterlife Club, Aria's base of operation.

Which such a huge group heading toward the club, a bouncer was ready to step in before he noticed that Shepard was in the lead and would let them quietly enter with out any fuss. You would've heard the music pumping almost a block away but outside the establishment it already felt like you were part of the party.

Once inside Shepard would turn to face the group, doing her best to speak over the music. "I'm going to try and find Aria, which means I'm going to leave you guys alone here. Don't drink anything the bartenders serve you. Don't start any fights and-- most importantly-- don't embarrass me. Once I've found and talked to Aria, I'll call for you, but before that just... try not to die." With that, she was off to find the ruler of Omega.

"She was mostly joking... but really, try not to die," Garrus quipped.

Kaidan sighed and opted to follow Shepard into the crowd. Steve shrugged and gestured toward the bar.

"Drinks or not, I love this place. It's got a real energy to it. I say we all take a moment to relax while the Commander gets us some intel."

It seemed like the group was free to explore the Afterlife Club until Shepard came back. Who knows, perhaps they would have a good time?​

In comparison, Lisa Lisa was, as usual, far less enthusiastic than Joseph about the situation she found herself in. Like everyone else, hopefully, she would much rather be home already, but it couldn't be helped. Especially if the process of getting back home was something they were already working on, and by "they," it seemed to refer to Shepard.

Then again, perhaps for now, another break was due. With all the distracting lights, disorientatingly loud music, and... seductive alien women dancing, it really did seem like another world from the future, and it was a little much for the woman to handle, having lived in an era where it was amazing to have moving pictures / motion pictures, let alone these vibrant lights and whatnot.

With a sigh, she would nod to Steve's words, sitting down at the nearby bar and ordering a drink, simply saying "Something strong" to the bartender.

When the bartender would return, he would start saying something to her about how "she should be careful" and how "this is strong, strong enough to send a Krogan stumbling about," but truth be told, Lisa Lisa didn't even know what a Krogan was, nor did she particularly care at the moment.

She just wanted a drink, and so she got one.

"Perhaps you are right, Mr. Cortez. While this isn't exactly my preferred place to spend my time, I can imagine worse situations."

She really shouldn't be complaining, considering she was in a whole 'nother part of the universe or whatever that "multiverse talk" was on about, but it seemed that no matter what universe she was in, alcohol was man's best friend, so it probably wasn't like she was particularly too far away from home or anything, right?

Broly was understandably annoyed by the lights and beams that hovered around his person. They didn't hurt or anything of the sight. But they were pestering him just as these two beings were. Their power levels were absolutely pitiful, not even worth an energy blast! Both of them he was sure he could dispose of with just a mere snap of the neck. That was if they continued to aggravate him with these infuriating beams. As they finally came to an end however, Broly's aura relaxed and the saiyan became a bit more calmer. Which was probably for the best otherwise the UN might have had to find quite a number of new employees.

And a new base of operations but that was besides the point. As the two began to go back and forth about how strong the barrier keeping Broly contained was, the saiyan stuck a hand out towards the barrier to test it. Pressing his palm onto it he sought to forcefully push on it to see if he could shatter it with just that alone. Surely it'd be a given if this man's blaster was able to do the trick with as little as an upgrade. Besides, it'd give the saiyan a laugh to see the frightened expressions on these two if he were to flex his power even more.

But that all came to a halt as the woman clearly stated that he had been controlled by the Reapers. Truth be told had he a choice in the matter, he didn't hold any true qualms over murdering the Adds. Or whoever else that may have perished under his watch. No, the part that angered him was that these Reapers thought they could use him as their attack dog. The last person who tried that was drifting out in the cold depths of space as little more than a corpse that used to be Broly's father. His father who had used Broly since he was a teenager to carve out an empire built on the backs of slaves who had their planets blown up by Broly if they even showed the slightest bit of resistance.

He had freed himself from his father's control once the opportunity presented itself. The same could not be said for these Reapers. They continued to exist with the ever present thought that he had been so easy to fool! HIM! THE LEGENDARY SUPER SAIYAN!

"They...Thought...They thought they could control me...? ME?!"

If the containment barrier's quality really had to come into question, it would have been now. Broly's aura was starting to grow out of control again, threatening to cause some serious damage to the UN'S headquarters if he wasn't pacified quickly.

Eventually Broly's outburst would have settled down however before Carth/Akane had to consider running for the hills. The woman had asked him a question and he had been so caught up in his undying ANGER that he had failed to acknowledge it. As his ki settled down to a more manageable level, he'd growl.

"...Killing you two would be a waste...Of effort on my part. I...Need to find the reapers. Make them pay for what they've done to me!"

"Nevermind, I think I do need a drink..." Walking over to the bar where Lisa was, the blonde soon had his need fulfilled thanks to a bottle of cheap booze as he watched the dancing maniac continue his... display, "Does Joseph always just... let go like this?"​

The Big Daddy was pleased, to say the least, that he managed to keep Eden preserved. The behemoth wouldn't have time to celebrate, as he was suddenly thrusted back into reality. Rising from his position and escaping his confinements (whether it be a really big pod or some kind of cables attached to him), Bubba quietly lumbered after the rest of the group with green lights. Things were going quite swimmingly so far.

That is, until they made it to Omega.

This place is loud.

Really, really loud.

The lights are shining too bright.

Too many people.

Too much movement.

My feet hurt.

I could be at home, collecting ADAM right now...

Yeah, Bubba stood out from the crowd like a sore thumb. Being extremely large and cumbersome (even moreso than the local krogan), he didn't really have any place on the dance floor. He also obviously didn't seem to have any reason to sit at the bar. Bubba sort of just...stood near the open area of the entrance and watched everybody relax. His vision trailed Shepard briefly, watching her walk up the ramps to the suspended platform where a strange blue lady seemed to sitting on a couch.

Perhaps Shepard might need a bodyguard? Alot of the folks here seem less than pleasent, but Big Daddy could just snap them over his knee and deal with them pretty quickly. The only problems were the Krogan, and the guns everybody was toting. They didn't look like something from Bubba's time period.

It was extremely uncomfortable for him, so Bubba simply stood on guard at the entrance.

The Mandalorian took Broly's summary appearance in stride just as he did everything else, simply giving a minute turn of the head in the far more powerful warrior's direction and eyeballing him impassively for a tense few seconds, showing no signs of being intimidated. He did, however, take a precautionary measure, calmly bringing his left hand up to skim past his normal weapon of choice in the signature EE-3 carbine and settle on something bigger and decidedly more potent, unshouldering a long, broad-stocked rifle from beneath his cloak to hold it in a ready position. He had no intention to employ it if he didn't have to.

Nor did he have any qualms putting it to use if he did.

That done, he ignored whatever variation of the analysis Asriel was subjecting Broly to and picked up on his line of conversation with Akane again, his helmet briefly crackling as he had it play back a snippet of what she said aloud through its artificial distortion.

His speakers fell silent, his thoughts on the recording known only to him. The bounty hunter let the silence hang for a few moments before he proceeded, tone as strident and devoid of approval or disapproval as ever.

"To some. Maybe. On a good day, when the sky is blue and stars align. The reality's not always so pleasant."

Despite his words, he sounded less like he was disagreeing and more like he was acquiescent toward her views. There was always gonna be people like her, people like him, and everything in between, all ready to push their own ideas of how life worked. Jedi and Sith. Republic and Empire. Hunter and bounty. Farmer and merchant. The specific distinctions didn't matter; everyone was opposed to someone. Darkness couldn't exist without light, but there were as many shades between the two as there were people living in them. They might've been on the same side, but the divide between himself and people like Akane couldn't have been wider... Not that that was a bad thing.

The results of his own scan didn't even garner a reaction from him, so assured had he been in his own status from the beginning.

"You asked what my position means. That question has a short and a long answer... The one I'm giving is it means I'm on your side."

"Now is there more, or can I get back to doing what I was paid to do?"

So, this is where he'd go to face his punishment? He still didn't understand all the hassle that was being put up for him committing a simple murder. If they wanted to find out his role or such, they should have just asked. If they wanted to put him in his place then they should have done so while he was still weakened. Reaching into his uniform, Broly pulled out the stimpack Six had given him and jabbed it into his stomach. The impact was enough to make the saiyan cringe but the effect was just as that man had said it would be. Broly could feel his wound closing up and the pain eventually drifted off into nothingness.

With that taken care of, Broly spared a brief glance over at Boba Fett. The first of those who had been accused of dancing to the Reaper's tune. The armor wasn't anything that Broly recognized and neither were the weapons. Had he been a part of Frieza's army? Or was he content to do his own thing? He supposed that in the end it really didn't matter. Boba was here and not his concern. Turning back towards Asriel, Broly frowned.

"...I will...Do whatever...Is seen fit."

But even if he were to face this 'Judgement' as it was so called, he wouldn't do it in this disgraceful base form. The one that Haruka had left him in thanks to sapping his energy away with her ability. Broly's expression contorted into a furious one as his hair began to glow before eventually becoming a bright blue color as he floated off the ground slightly.

"I won't wait for long...Do what you must.."

If the containment barrier's quality really had to come into question, it would have been now. Broly's aura was starting to grow out of control again, threatening to cause some serious damage to the UN'S headquarters if he wasn't pacified quickly.

Eventually Broly's outburst would have settled down however before Carth/Akane had to consider running for the hills. The woman had asked him a question and he had been so caught up in his undying ANGER that he had failed to acknowledge it. As his ki settled down to a more manageable level, he'd growl.

"...Killing you two would be a waste...Of effort on my part. I...Need to find the reapers. Make them pay for what they've done to me!"

Asriel seemed a little worried, seeing that Broly was a traitor... And, had a bit of a temper on his hands to say the least... But, he was at least, glad that Broly's anger wasn't directed towards them, but... Towards the Reapers.

He said softly, trying his best to reassure Broly, and, well... Hopefully prevent the rather short-tempered man from doing anything crazy... On the other hand, perhaps Broly's anger could help them greatly against the Reapers, though, well... Now was not the time for it.

He added... Remembering Broly's rage during taht voting session... That might be something to be wary of in the future... But, well, other than that, Broly at least seemed relatively Civil... Aside from the blinding rage thing... At least to Asriel anyways.​

Chapter Three
"Asari for the Inconvenience"

Soon enough all necessary preparations had been dealt with and the Normandy was flying off back into space. A brief trip between universes later, they would be at their destination.

Omega, a den of scum and villainy, led by a woman called Aria T'Loak. Shepard had surmised if someone knew of anything valuable regarding Elliot, it would be Aria.

Docking on Omega, the entire group would leave with Shepard, Garrus, Steve, and Kaidan of the original Normandy crew and would head towards the Afterlife Club, Aria's base of operation.

Which such a huge group heading toward the club, a bouncer was ready to step in before he noticed that Shepard was in the lead and would let them quietly enter with out any fuss. You would've heard the music pumping almost a block away but outside the establishment it already felt like you were part of the party.

Once inside Shepard would turn to face the group, doing her best to speak over the music. "I'm going to try and find Aria, which means I'm going to leave you guys alone here. Don't drink anything the bartenders serve you. Don't start any fights and-- most importantly-- don't embarrass me. Once I've found and talked to Aria, I'll call for you, but before that just... try not to die." With that, she was off to find the ruler of Omega.

"She was mostly joking... but really, try not to die," Garrus quipped.

Kaidan sighed and opted to follow Shepard into the crowd. Steve shrugged and gestured toward the bar.

"Drinks or not, I love this place. It's got a real energy to it. I say we all take a moment to relax while the Commander gets us some intel."

It seemed like the group was free to explore the Afterlife Club until Shepard came back. Who knows, perhaps they would have a good time?​

"...So this is Omega, huh?" Qrow quipped after a moment's hesitation. The veteran huntsman had been keeping a low profile after the...incident, put politely. Silent observation of all the various things, fitting for a scout. The drinking that came with, not so much, but he could handle it no sweat. "What a seedy place." Just from what he could see standing here, he spotted prostitutes, mercenaries, thugs and lowlifes. In all shapes, sizes and colors. The heavy scent of sweat and alcohol hung in the air, the loud pulsing of the music doing little to drown out some of the more confrontational ones. The criminal underworld at it's very best(read, worst)...something he knew how to handle blindfolded. He grinned.

"Try not to die. Easy enough." He slid his hands into his pockets, slouching away over to the bar after a quick glance and appreciation of some of the dancers. "Give me the strongest thing you got. And something greasy, if you serve food in this slum."

"Hurry up.."

Broly was understandably annoyed by the lights and beams that hovered around his person. They didn't hurt or anything of the sight. But they were pestering him just as these two beings were. Their power levels were absolutely pitiful, not even worth an energy blast! Both of them he was sure he could dispose of with just a mere snap of the neck. That was if they continued to aggravate him with these infuriating beams. As they finally came to an end however, Broly's aura relaxed and the saiyan became a bit more calmer. Which was probably for the best otherwise the UN might have had to find quite a number of new employees.

And a new base of operations but that was besides the point. As the two began to go back and forth about how strong the barrier keeping Broly contained was, the saiyan stuck a hand out towards the barrier to test it. Pressing his palm onto it he sought to forcefully push on it to see if he could shatter it with just that alone. Surely it'd be a given if this man's blaster was able to do the trick with as little as an upgrade. Besides, it'd give the saiyan a laugh to see the frightened expressions on these two if he were to flex his power even more.

But that all came to a halt as the woman clearly stated that he had been controlled by the Reapers. Truth be told had he a choice in the matter, he didn't hold any true qualms over murdering the Adds. Or whoever else that may have perished under his watch. No, the part that angered him was that these Reapers thought they could use him as their attack dog. The last person who tried that was drifting out in the cold depths of space as little more than a corpse that used to be Broly's father. His father who had used Broly since he was a teenager to carve out an empire built on the backs of slaves who had their planets blown up by Broly if they even showed the slightest bit of resistance.

He had freed himself from his father's control once the opportunity presented itself. The same could not be said for these Reapers. They continued to exist with the ever present thought that he had been so easy to fool! HIM! THE LEGENDARY SUPER SAIYAN!

"They...Thought...They thought they could control me...? ME?!"

"H-Hey, please calm down, sir!" Akane exclaimed in response to the Legendary Super Saiyan's initial reaction to the notion that he had been being controlled by the Reapers, hoping to calm down Broly before he'd end up accidentally (or deliberately, who knew?) destroying all of the UN station by himself before any of them would be able to blink.

Though still very angry, it seemed that the fighter would be able to calm down... a little bit? Akane couldn't really tell with him, but at least Broly knew to direct his anger at the Reapers instead of taking it out on them, right?

"Well... At least we're not potential victims of his mad rampage. Hopefully," Carth mumbled, sighing as he would run a hand through his hair, before placing both of his hands on his hips, "Uh... Well, if that's it, we should probably send him back, huh? I don't think he's in the mood for another philosophy talk on the duality of man."

"R-Right. We should probably send him ba--" Akane began to say, before something strange would happen.

Fwoop.

Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, everything would go dark. The containment barrier that was holding Broly (or rather, was simply "around him," as holding would imply that Broly probably wasn't able to get out), would disappear, while all the lights in the area would go out, leaving everyone in the area quite literally in the dark. After a moment of silence as Akane and Carth would attempt to get over the sudden surprise, the former of the two would realize their situation.

"Tch, we've been compromised! There's no way this could have been an accidental glitch in the system! Elliot's forces are here!"

"Blast! How'd they find us?!" Carth exclaimed, scrambling for his modified blaster, "If the power's out, then they're probably already here. We'll have to fight our way to the emergency generator if we wanna beam this big nerf-herder back to the crew."

"Right. We should go before they--"

Boom. Thump. Thump.

Before Akane would be able to finish her sentence, loud bangs could be heard on the door on the other side of the room. Her expression paled a bit as she realized that the enemy was closer than she had realized.

"... Before they what? Find us? Because that doesn't sound very--"

CRASH!

The doors would suddenly come crashing into the floor by a powerful external force, and where the door once was, a good amount of strange, almost grotesque, humanoid figures would appear, stumbling into the scene like zombies.

"Guhhgh... kill..."

"Damn! We've got Husks!" Carth said, attempting to aim his blaster at the hostile figures and fire at them, while Akane had... a more easy plan in mind.

"... Mr. Broly, was it? You wouldn't mind helping us take out the trash, would you?"

At the night club Thom stood next Danwstar. The music was so loud, he grabbed his head in pain as he moved with Dawnstar. Moving his way to bar, he'd see Lisa Lisa. Hop


"Sorry about earlier." I'm just not myself today." This the afterlife club? Yet we're not dead. Huh! It's ironic."


Starman would then point out Danwstar.


"This is my friend Dawnstar. She's the best tracker in the multiverse. She also has wings! Pretty cool, huh? Barkeep! I'd like the milkiest milk you have! Please and thank you!"

What the hell was Shizuo looking at? Did Joseph realize how weird he looked at that moment? Was this normal for him?

"Nevermind, I think I do need a drink..." Walking over to the bar where Lisa was, the blonde soon had his need fulfilled thanks to a bottle of cheap booze as he watched the dancing maniac continue his... display, "Does Joseph always just... let go like this?"​

After all, if his allies can't even predict what's on his mind, how can his enemies?" The woman spoke, continuing to drink her beverage, talking almost like a mother proud of her son's accomplishments, "He's quite creative. Though he might appear dumb and brutish, he's far more crafty than most people. Not many people can blow someone to hell with just a wool hat, nor can they tangle with a god and quite literally trick him to death..."

"Please, do not hate him. I attribute his normal hot-headed attitude to myself being absent for most of his life and not being around to teach him proper etiquette, though I have no room to say that his grandmother was by any means a lacking guardian... Still, I am glad that he at least grew up to be an upstanding young man."

"So it's almost like a disguise, one that causes his opponents to get cocky and swing before really looking..." Shizuo spotted a drunken patron had just stepped away from the bar, leaving a cigarette lighter behind by accident. Not seeing much harm in doing it, he casually took the device from the counter top and began digging his pack back out, "I guess he knows what he's doing even with all his weirdness, and don't worry, he probably would have been just as strange either way. Hell, might have made him weirder if you were strict and he rebelled."

Finally getting another smoke out and lighting it up, he took a breath of the smoke before letting the cigarette rest between his lips as Starman approached. Seemed like Joseph wasn't the weirdest person here after all. Milkest milk? Wouldn't that just be whole milk?

"Anyways, so Joseph blew someone up with a wool hat? How the hell did he pull a stunt like that?"

Toboe looked up as he was spoken to, and after a few moments of studying Asgore with curiosity he gave the other a small, albeit slightly flat, smile.

"Thanks for the advice." He responded.

When Asgore brought up the fact he was bad at decision making Toboe bit his lip.

"Even if you have trouble making decisions for choices like this, I think it's best to go with your heart in some cases, and your gut in others...but that's how I just see things." Toboe wasn't sure if what he said would really help Asgore, and after hearing Dawnstar's own input he was starting to rethink his own choice. So after a moment or two, he switched his vote for the second option instead.

Asgore nodded to Toboe and smiled and blushed a bit when he was thanked for the advice, for a guy who doesn't give that much good advice, he seemed pretty happy he at least got this as a response. This poor guy looked oh so unhappy, it made him just want to give him a hug to show that he really cared. That wouldn't happen though, it would be too weird, awkward and uncomfortable for someone who he just met.

Toboe told him to follow his heart, and he looked down at it for a bit before casting his vote, following both Toboe's advice and his heart to stand firm on his decision. He did it pretty secretly so there was almost no way to determine what he voted for...unless someone told him.​

"It's time to wake up, people. Knowing my luck, this is going to be a bumpy ride." With a press of the button the group's entire world turn black.

When they regained consciousness, they'd find themselves back in Vault 112 laying in their opened pods. Mordin was wandering around checking on everyone.

"Vitals normal. Interesting. UN will pick you up shortly. Suggest not go wander outside. Bad air."

You could see new faces among the group as well. Junko was talking to Shepard about something that you couldn't quite hear, though with how Junko was emoting it seemed to be quite serious at least from her part. She absently touched at her right shoulder, where one could now see bandages just under Junko's uniform. Dawnstar was standing next to Starman, taking support from her fellow Legion member. Who knows how long she had been trapped inside? Some of the pods however remained sealed, no doubt individuals that had perished inside Eden like that Elizabeth Comstock individual.

It was then that a rather familiar looking figure stepped out of one of the pods. She seemed to stumble a little, clearly not having stood up in awhile now... in this body that is, before she brushed her hair away from her face, gazing upon the other occupants who have also been freed from Eden. She seemed to be smiling a little about something, though, it was uncertain exactly what that was.

"I'm glad it was decided... That Eden would live on," she said, rubbing her arms and legs, seeming to be trying to get blood flowing to her limbs again. "And yes... I'm Faith Connors, and long ago... I was one of the first to be pulled into Eden." A distant look crossed her face as she seemed to recall her arrival in Eden... And eventually her choice. "I... Was one of the few who chose to stay, and live out the rest of my life... With someone who couldn't quite leave... Like we can." It seemed that by leaving Eden intact, they hadn't just preserved the lives of the AI that lived within, but also the bonds that those who chose to stay in Eden had shared with them. "I know the risks of keeping Eden intact... However, even then... Thank you... For allowing people like me... A chance to live on in Eden."

Despite how wonderful it seemed to exit Eden for the time being, it looked like Faith was intending to return, she stepped towards the pod she had stepped out of moments before, seeing that those around her had places to go... Much like she once had countless years ago, when she was much different than she was now. "I'm afraid this is where we say goodbye... Until we meet again, one way or another," Faith said, shrugging a little, uncertain about whether or not she'd encounter those in front of her again, but nonetheless, she gave everyone a small smile and a little wave before she entered her pod again. Soon, she was back in Eden, but this time, it was by her own choice.

A sliver of light appeared in the middle of the room and shimmered. After a moment, it disappeared, Boba Fett taking its place. He had returned, and it was confirmed he held no trace of Reaper indoctrination.

A group of civilians would have been gathered at one place waiting for UN extraction. Shepard seemed to be done with her talk with Junko and signaled for the Normandy group to gather up.

"We'll be leaving these people behind for the United Nations to pick up so they can do what they do and send them back where they belong. I imagine they'll seal this place up if they can. We on the other hand, are finally getting off this hellhole of a planet to continue our mission to stop the Reapers. And one of our new recruits might just be what we've been searching for. Dawnstar?"

On uneasy feet Dawnstar would come up in front of the group. "As a native of Starhaven, I have powers that can help us track down our prey and put a stop to this. The problem is that I would need something of Elliot's to be able to set my sights on him... and I am far too weak to do anything. I was trapped in Eden for so long... and this world is like fire on my skin..."

Shepard would put her hand on Dawnstar's shoulder. "Like you said, you can't do anything in the condition you're in. What we need is information, and I know exactly where we're going to get that information. Double time back to the Normandy, people. Anyone who can't walk, you help. We're heading back to my universe because we're going to go on a little trip to a place called Omega."

It wasn't long before we were once again thrown out of Eden, with the decision that Eden was spared, he gave a look at Toboe before being sent back to the pods.

During the time on the Normandy, he actually DID end up getting his tea, to which he smiled with delight upon getting.

When they reached Omega, Asgore took in all the advice that all the major crewmembers had and spent Sitting in the Afterlife, planning on what he should do next.

It seemed that by leaving Eden intact, they hadn't just preserved the lives of the AI that lived within, but also the bonds that those who chose to stay in Eden had shared with them. Despite how wonderful it seemed to exit Eden for the time being, it looked like Faith was intending to return, she stepped towards the pod she had stepped out of moments before, seeing that those around her had places to go... Much like she once had countless years ago, when she was much different than she was now. "I'm afraid this is where we say goodbye... Until we meet again, one way or another," Faith said, shrugging a little, uncertain about whether or not she'd encounter those in front of her again, but nonetheless, she gave everyone a small smile and a little wave before she entered her pod again. Soon, she was back in Eden, but this time, it was by her own choice.

A sliver of light appeared in the middle of the room and shimmered. After a moment, it disappeared, Boba Fett taking its place. He had returned, and it was confirmed he held no trace of Reaper indoctrination.

A group of civilians would have been gathered at one place waiting for UN extraction. Shepard seemed to be done with her talk with Junko and signaled for the Normandy group to gather up.

"We'll be leaving these people behind for the United Nations to pick up so they can do what they do and send them back where they belong. I imagine they'll seal this place up if they can. We on the other hand, are finally getting off this hellhole of a planet to continue our mission to stop the Reapers. And one of our new recruits might just be what we've been searching for. Dawnstar?"

On uneasy feet Dawnstar would come up in front of the group. "As a native of Starhaven, I have powers that can help us track down our prey and put a stop to this. The problem is that I would need something of Elliot's to be able to set my sights on him... and I am far too weak to do anything. I was trapped in Eden for so long... and this world is like fire on my skin..."

Shepard would put her hand on Dawnstar's shoulder. "Like you said, you can't do anything in the condition you're in. What we need is information, and I know exactly where we're going to get that information. Double time back to the Normandy, people. Anyone who can't walk, you help. We're heading back to my universe because we're going to go on a little trip to a place called Omega."

Soon enough all necessary preparations had been dealt with and the Normandy was flying off back into space. A brief trip between universes later, they would be at their destination.

Omega, a den of scum and villainy, led by a woman called Aria T'Loak. Shepard had surmised if someone knew of anything valuable regarding Elliot, it would be Aria.

Docking on Omega, the entire group would leave with Shepard, Garrus, Steve, and Kaidan of the original Normandy crew and would head towards the Afterlife Club, Aria's base of operation.

Which such a huge group heading toward the club, a bouncer was ready to step in before he noticed that Shepard was in the lead and would let them quietly enter with out any fuss. You would've heard the music pumping almost a block away but outside the establishment it already felt like you were part of the party.

Once inside Shepard would turn to face the group, doing her best to speak over the music. "I'm going to try and find Aria, which means I'm going to leave you guys alone here. Don't drink anything the bartenders serve you. Don't start any fights and-- most importantly-- don't embarrass me. Once I've found and talked to Aria, I'll call for you, but before that just... try not to die." With that, she was off to find the ruler of Omega.

"She was mostly joking... but really, try not to die," Garrus quipped.

Kaidan sighed and opted to follow Shepard into the crowd. Steve shrugged and gestured toward the bar.

"Drinks or not, I love this place. It's got a real energy to it. I say we all take a moment to relax while the Commander gets us some intel."

It seemed like the group was free to explore the Afterlife Club until Shepard came back. Who knows, perhaps they would have a good time?

Chapter 3: If there were a such thing as "Big Sister Hell", this'd be it

"Uhh...a night-club? Really? Durin' a time like this? C'mon now, I've heard 'o partyin' like there's no tomorrow, but this just a tad too literal for my taste!" Applejack complained, grinding her teeth to keep her mind off the storm brewing inside of her. It was bad enough that only the most dewy-eyed of the group had their voices heard on the Eden matter, but combining that with the worries of watching over a child in a raging nightclub, and you got yourself one fried pony brain. It didn't help that the smalltown girl was uncomfortable enough with the club setting. Applejack couldn't even recall if Ponyville had one at all. With a shaky sigh, she held Applebloom close, trotting up beside Bubba. Applebloom didn't look afraid of him, in fact she felt pretty safe around him, as did Applejack. Even better, the Big Daddy wasn't having such a good time either. Applejack routinely tipped her hat to him in a greeting whilst her sister waved, hoping to peacefully weather the storm by his side.

Chapter Three
"Asari for the Inconvenience"

The votes had come in and the majority had spoken. "So, Eden lives? Fine, now let's get the hell out of here." Shepard would go up to the mainframe and start putting in directives. "It's time to wake up, people. Knowing my luck, this is going to be a bumpy ride." With a press of the button the group's entire world turn black.

When they regained consciousness, they'd find themselves back in Vault 112 laying in their opened pods. Mordin was wandering around checking on everyone.

"Vitals normal. Interesting. UN will pick you up shortly. Suggest not go wander outside. Bad air."

You could see new faces among the group as well. Junko was talking to Shepard about something that you couldn't quite hear, though with how Junko was emoting it seemed to be quite serious at least from her part. She absently touched at her right shoulder, where one could now see bandages just under Junko's uniform. Dawnstar was standing next to Starman, taking support from her fellow Legion member. Who knows how long she had been trapped inside? Some of the pods however remained sealed, no doubt individuals that had perished inside Eden like that Elizabeth Comstock individual.

It was then that a rather familiar looking figure stepped out of one of the pods. She seemed to stumble a little, clearly not having stood up in awhile now... in this body that is, before she brushed her hair away from her face, gazing upon the other occupants who have also been freed from Eden. She seemed to be smiling a little about something, though, it was uncertain exactly what that was.

"I'm glad it was decided... That Eden would live on," she said, rubbing her arms and legs, seeming to be trying to get blood flowing to her limbs again. "And yes... I'm Faith Connors, and long ago... I was one of the first to be pulled into Eden." A distant look crossed her face as she seemed to recall her arrival in Eden... And eventually her choice. "I... Was one of the few who chose to stay, and live out the rest of my life... With someone who couldn't quite leave... Like we can." This...was not the scene for Karasu. The cloaked, white-haired man did his best to go sit in a corner and simply observe from afar. Or at least, was going to until he felt a tug on his cloak.

"Karasu..." Haruka groaned, pouting at him. She knew he wasn't exactly the social type, but he didn't have to just go all stand-offish every time they went somewhere, did he? Then again, even the present Yuu wasn't exactly the most sociable guy. With a grunt, Karasu stopped moving. He sure as hell wasn't dancing, drinking, or anything, but he'd at least stick to Haruka as she moved about.

It probably wasn't going to get much better than that for him, so Haruka just accepted that with a smile. Here seemed to be a good chance to relax after all...that happening before! Deciding to not take Shepard's comment about not dying too seriously, she decided to try to have a good time. Whatever that meant here. Did they have board games, or anything?

Probably not. Seemed like one of those club things for adults. So just find someone to talk to?

Examining her options, there was a small crowd near the bar and the big guy from earlier, JoJo if she remembered right, dancing in the center. Not exactly a lot of choice in company. Dancing was a bit embarrassing though, so she just approached the bar she was too young to order anything from anyway.

Only to hear something about blowing people up with a hat. That certainly sounded...interesting. Did adults tell funny stories sometimes too? Might as well listen.

"H-Hey, please calm down, sir!" Akane exclaimed in response to the Legendary Super Saiyan's initial reaction to the notion that he had been being controlled by the Reapers, hoping to calm down Broly before he'd end up accidentally (or deliberately, who knew?) destroying all of the UN station by himself before any of them would be able to blink.

Though still very angry, it seemed that the fighter would be able to calm down... a little bit? Akane couldn't really tell with him, but at least Broly knew to direct his anger at the Reapers instead of taking it out on them, right?

"Well... At least we're not potential victims of his mad rampage. Hopefully," Carth mumbled, sighing as he would run a hand through his hair, before placing both of his hands on his hips, "Uh... Well, if that's it, we should probably send him back, huh? I don't think he's in the mood for another philosophy talk on the duality of man."

"R-Right. We should probably send him ba--" Akane began to say, before something strange would happen.

Fwoop.

Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, everything would go dark. The containment barrier that was holding Broly (or rather, was simply "around him," as holding would imply that Broly probably wasn't able to get out), would disappear, while all the lights in the area would go out, leaving everyone in the area quite literally in the dark. After a moment of silence as Akane and Carth would attempt to get over the sudden surprise, the former of the two would realize their situation.

"Tch, we've been compromised! There's no way this could have been an accidental glitch in the system! Elliot's forces are here!"

"Blast! How'd they find us?!" Carth exclaimed, scrambling for his modified blaster, "If the power's out, then they're probably already here. We'll have to fight our way to the emergency generator if we wanna beam this big nerf-herder back to the crew."

"Right. We should go before they--"

Boom. Thump. Thump.

Before Akane would be able to finish her sentence, loud bangs could be heard on the door on the other side of the room. Her expression paled a bit as she realized that the enemy was closer than she had realized.

"... Before they what? Find us? Because that doesn't sound very--"

CRASH!

The doors would suddenly come crashing into the floor by a powerful external force, and where the door once was, a good amount of strange, almost grotesque, humanoid figures would appear, stumbling into the scene like zombies.

"Guhhgh... kill..."

"Damn! We've got Husks!" Carth said, attempting to aim his blaster at the hostile figures and fire at them, while Akane had... a more easy plan in mind.

"... Mr. Broly, was it? You wouldn't mind helping us take out the trash, would you?"

The feeling of some degree of his energy returning to his being was almost euphoric in a sense. Still wasn't the full package, i.e he wasn't feeling the usual limitless amounts of power that overwhelmed him to the point where it corrupted his already shattered remnants of sanity. These people called for him to be calm but why?! He had been manipulated, his power used like some kind of plaything yet again and here he was instead of being out there murdering these Reapers! Then finding out wherever it was they originated from and blowing it into dust!

He was about to shatter this barrier with a mighty blow from his fist only for it to vanish and the lights to go out. Normally leaving any other saiyan might have been boned but Broly was a living psychopathic lightswitch as his yellow aura and blue hair kept a small semblance of light going as Carth and Akane muttered among themselves. They were being attacked? Good! It'd be someone for Broly to crush after his pitiful defeat at the hands of Haruka's power.

Why did this Elliot not come and face him down man to man? Was he too much of a coward? That had to be the only reasoning! He just like the Reapers knew of Broly's uncontrollable power and decided it'd be better to keep him on a leash than as an enemy! Well, that's one mistake that they wouldn't live to regret as Broly's power began to surge, his eyes glowing bright green from the process as it seemed his jaw and eye sockets were literally tearing from just how much power Broly was outputting. His body simply couldn't handle the strain.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!"

As the Husks continued to beat on the door from the other side and Akane/Carth argued among themselves, the Legendary Super Saiyan was engulfed in a green sphere consisting entirely of his own energy. Once the sphere began to fade away, Broly was still in his super saiyan form. Still didn't have the power yet to regain his 'Legendary' status but he doubted he'd need it for whatever waited behind this door. Gliding gently off the floor, Broly thrust a palm out in the direction of the door. With the amount of force that he assumed was being pressed on it, it'd come crumbling down soon enough.

*THUD*

Just as he predicted. As the creatures began to file in, Broly couldn't help but smirk. These were the peons that Eliiot surrounded himself with? They didn't look powerful enough to best the Saibamen that his planet used for training youngling saiyans! This was more of a mockery to Broly's power than a mere child being able to stop him cold turkey in the midst of his violent rampage. To think these creatures, these weaklings even had the slightest chance of defeating him?! OF BRINGING HIM TO HIS KNEES?!

Once inside Shepard would turn to face the group, doing her best to speak over the music. "I'm going to try and find Aria, which means I'm going to leave you guys alone here. Don't drink anything the bartenders serve you. Don't start any fights and-- most importantly-- don't embarrass me. Once I've found and talked to Aria, I'll call for you, but before that just... try not to die." With that, she was off to find the ruler of Omega.

"She was mostly joking... but really, try not to die," Garrus quipped.

Kaidan sighed and opted to follow Shepard into the crowd. Steve shrugged and gestured toward the bar.

"Drinks or not, I love this place. It's got a real energy to it. I say we all take a moment to relax while the Commander gets us some intel."

It seemed like the group was free to explore the Afterlife Club until Shepard came back. Who knows, perhaps they would have a good time?

"Well... That was quite the journey..." Dust said, sighing a little... Both he and fidget had voted to keep Eden around, as neither of them could bear the burden of erasing the existence of all those AI inhabitatns in there... Perhaps it was for the best things worked out this way. Though, now, he was sitting in the "afterlife" club, looking a bit lost, he wasn't quite sure what to do...

"Yeah... I mean... Hey! We almost could have made someone really mad at us! Buuut, uh... Now that we're in a club... With nothing else to do... Let's dance!" Fidget suggested, about to fly into the crowd, though, she sort of stopped, noticing Dust didn't seem so enthusiastic. "Heeey... You okay there, Dust?" She asked.

"Yeah but... I've never danced before..." Dust said, he looked a little taken aback by Fidget's sudden enthusiasm... Personally, all he wanted to do, was find some answers... But, well, who says even someone such as himself can't relax for once and unwind... Though, he didn't know a thing about dancing... Just... Fighting... And occasionally platforming.

"Nyaaaw! Come on! Dancing is easy! Just duck a few times... And jump! I'll follow your lead! I mean... We've done this at the sanctuary plenty of times!" Fidget said... Looks like she might not know much about dancing either... But, what she said about the sanctuary was kind of true...

"Wait... You thought I was... Dancing back there?" Dust said, he looked to be holding back his laughter to some extent, rubbing his chin "Well... To be completely honest... I was just practicing my... Jumping." he said, trailing off a little... Looks like he wasn't quite sure why he was jumping and crouching in the sanctuary; must have been the music that got to him that time... The pair seemed to idly stand around for the time being, for the moment, lost in their own conversation...
