The older woman laughed softly and wearily at all Azel questions. "Slow down, young one. I can only answer one at a time," she paused a moment a cleared her throat timidly,"Your status has no effects on me. I do not know if it was common among Silverwing, but among my kind sibling mates were rather common. My own brother and sister were mates. As for both being male, that is an interesting twist. Disgusted not all. Worried some for your sakes. As for Aleris and ruins, I gave up looking long before I came to the town, so I never checked the ruins. One moment." She woobled off to the back.
Calvin's mind tried to wrap around everything she was saying. For some reason, hearing that it was not as taboo as he thought gave him some relief. He looked around the shop as spoke and would tap Azel's shoulder when he saw something he recognized for poisons. When she started talking on Aleris his mind snapped to her. She had his full attention.
She wobbled back in with a map. "This is a map of my travels and planned travels before I got too tired of looking and being hunted," she said setting a dusty map in front of her.
