Re: Character Sheet Applications

CHARACTER SHEET

Name: Nanase

Race: Robot

Faction: Shapeshifter Guild, Tenuous.

Place of Residence: Shapeshifter Town; deactivated, stored underground (until recently)

Appearance:
nanase.jpg

Personality: Nanase is quick to anger and dismissing others. She sees herself as superior unless proven otherwise, and want's other people to reinforce this belief. When others do not tell her how awesome she is, she tends to either get angry and snap at them or dismiss them, but subconsciously builds anxiety about her failings.

Drivers: Nanase seeks to show that she is "the perfect creation", and that Mryn and everyone else who takes a dim view of her is wrong.

Equipment: Glowy Sword of cutting stuff (it runs on MAGIC SCIENCE), high-calibur pistol. The pistol can be connected to her personal powerplant to change it into a railgun, on top of it's current power. The sword is capable of cutting through normal materials with ease, but only so long as Nanase is wielding it-when seperated from her power supply, the field that lets it cut things and grants it such sharpness ceases to be and it becomes just a normal dull bit of metal.

Strengths: Nanase is built from durable materials and high quality hydraulics; she can take hits and dish them out.
Weaknesses:Nanase runs on Magic Science. Areas of confluence will shut down some of her more advanced functions (wings, sword, healing), and lower her overall strength. Areas of high confluence can severely limit her capabilities.

while she can heal naturally, her body heals slower than that of a normal person and cannot replace any completely destroyed systems.

Nanase has only been active for a very short time, so her combat programs are not fully developed. She's got good innate powers, but is not a very skilled opponent.
Primary Power: Magic Robot (dreamweaving)
-Nanase was created through the use of science that takes laws of physics more as suggestions than anything else. She is stronger and faster than a normal person, and her skin is tougher.

Secondary Power: Bullets From Out Of Space (dreamweaving)
-the ammo for nanase's gun is pulled from other dimensions, meaning that she almost never runs out of ammo. If she fires too many rounds too fast, is in a confluence field, or has to spend the majority of her power just not dying, she won't be able to make new bullets.

Tertiary Power:-Flight (Dreamweaving)
Nanase has a set of energy wings that can come from her back, allowing her flight by manipulating the electromagnetic currents around iwaku (the magic helps)

Secondary Power: (confluence) he is a martial arts master, he is especially adept at kenjutsu (swordfighting) Kayakujutsu (gunplay) and Naginatajutsu (fighting with a naginata)
Tertiary Power: (soularts) heightened senses, as stated befor Okami's senses of smell and hearing are very strong.
Background: Okami makoto, does not know who his parents were, he spent his life being raised by samurai who told him he was found as a pup nearly drown in a stream. He was raised by a clan samurai, who taught him his skills.
Ever since the samurai had been banished from their own country they made a living by being sellswords. Okami became a magnificent warrior. one day though, whilefulfilling a contract Okami and his fellow samurai were caught in an ambush. One of the samurai sacrificed himself to allow okami to escape.
with his clan destroyed Okami began to wonder and eventually came to shapeshifter town, he was welcomed into the shapeshifter castle as a gaurd. until shapeshifter town was destroyed. now he searches diligently for the ones who destroyed the home he had come to love, and he will not stop until they are brought to justice.

Re: Character Sheet Applications

Name: Ego-Ranger Gamma 'Krom'

Race: Heavily Modified Beastman

Faction: Thrall for the Multi-Sexual Deviant Wychwhore.

Place of Residence: Archetype's lab.

Appearance: 8' 7'', a towering pillar or military science. Ribbed armor and thin yet dense plates protecting the vital machinery and flesh within. Krom eschewed the typical headgear of the Beta's and Alpha's, preferring for the dying enemy to stare into his gleeful face. Mounted on one arm is the AW-20, and hanging from the hilt next to a variety of shaped blades is Stigmata, his trusty bloodthirsty daemon-mace.

Personality: Right after the Change, Krom resisted Archetype's rule. When he saw the awesome powers at his command, the opportunity to kill, he embraced his new role and quite enjoyed his new powers. Khang was delighted in combat, but before, he killed in Nurgle's name. Cursing the God who had abandoned him, he instead turned to delight only in slaughter.

Drivers: Slay.

Equipment: XM-107 Payload Rifle, Weapons Control and Fire Control System(Allows Krom to wield any infantry weapon in Dystopia's arsenal as well), AW-20 6.5X28 Caseless Machine Gun.

After Khang's death and Krom's birth, Stigmata was retrieved and modified. Implanted with a single-shot 30mm Cannon built into the hilt. The daemon of course, had slight difficulty to having an ass-cannon, but soothing from Krom set it straight.

Strengths: Krom is the first Ego Ranger Gamma, most powerful of a already impressive example of military science. With the most high-tech weapons Dysopia have to offer and more equipped, Krom is a formidable opponent.

Weaknesses: Since being ripped up by Beta's, very little of Khang's body was preserved intact. As a result, Krom's body is mostly mechanical, and thusly requires constant maintenance. EMP's will severly disrupt movement capabilities and entirely disrupt the AW-20.

Primary Power: Massive Arsenal(Confluence)

As Khang became Krom, he gained the already prodigious power of the Beta's and Alpha's and more. Several very large guns equipped and an entire army's knowledge of weapons implanted.

Secondary Power: King of the Ego-Rangers(Confluence)

As a Gamma, he became the first Ego-Ranger with a brain. A capable leader(By Beastman standards, anyway, but some training should smooth out the rough parts.) before the rebirth, Krom now commands much more powerful soldiers, with no thoughts of rebellion or succession.

Tertiary Power: Endurance(SoulArts)

One thing besides his weapon, that was passed on from Khang to Krom, was the extraordinary Endurance. Khang before, relied on dead flesh and experience to block out the pain and carry on. Krom now has high-tech systems, drug injectors, pumping opiates and combat hormones into his blood stream, in addition to the single-minded determination and heavily armored form..

Background: Khang, Krom's former form, was brought to Iwaku in a fragile organic body as a servant of Nurgle. Quickly attacked by the Barship's forces based in the Shapeshifter's Castle in the Cult Quarter, he was saved by the Chaos Sorcerer. He was then brought via magic to the Warmaster Death's temporary hide-out in the Castle of Iwaku. Seeing a force of Chaos much more powerful than he, Khang pledged service to the Warmaster. As a dispensable, yet still powerful servant, Warmaster sent Khang in as a distraction, and to place the beacon for his entrance to Dystopia. Khang served his purpose and was rent apart by Beta's. Perhaps admiring his endurance, or requiring a bloodthirsty host for her experiment, Archetype retrieved Khang's remains and revived them. Keeping the brain alive, exstensive rebuilding was done, and some of his body structure was recovered. The rest was replaced with mechanical parts and implants along with the various knowledge uploads. Slowly, Khang became Krom.

Re: Character Sheet Applications

CHARACTER SHEET

Name: Jack Shade

Race: At one point, presumably human…Now appears to be a pseudo human of some sort.

Faction: Once allied with Asmodeus and his mad dreams, with Rory and Chaos, and with his own Underground Cult long since abandoned.

Place of Residence: None

Appearance:
The_Warrior_by_xcgirl08.jpg

Personality: Once a mirthless creature of duty and scorching zealotry, the years away from Iwaku has sobered Jack. A bit more light hearted, the former general makes light of dark situations and attempts, if able, to assuage sorrow by maintaining a spirited front. A little more excitable, Jack has made peace with the man he was before and moved beyond it, trying to shed the guilt from the deed's he's done as well. Flawed in his arrogance, Jack blindly forces a belief in a happy ending…some fragment of his desire from the Emerald Iwaku. Only when close to anger does Jack exhibit some of the fire he once exhibited constantly, the flaring zealotry which caused even his friend and mentor to betray him.

Drivers: Gaining back his memories of the events that transpired during and after the war, Jack seeks a confrontation with Asmodeus, the man he had inspired to regain his humanity who, in turn, betrayed Jack to Chaos. Fighting the Elder Invasion seems to be on the back burner for now as Jack seeks a way to reconcile himself with the fiery zealot he once was and what he has become…a wiser man

Equipment: (Forgot to add this in at the get go)

Nagasayda: The first piece of Jack's old blade, it has been reforged into a mid-length katana-like blade that glistens almost as if glossed. It's ability is much the same as it used to be, a powerful blade that was made to mimic the Iwaku Sword, having exponentially high cutting properties...but pale in comparison to the true blade. The added effect of this sword is tempered into its length. Imbued within it is a powerful magical effect of specific delusion. Opponents who catch the glare of the sun off the blade will be far more prone to flashbacks as the confluence of the blade itself forces them to relive pivotal points in their lives, reinforcing their development within the world of Iwaku. This ability can only be activated when outside of combat as the reflection must be maintained for the effect to work. This ability does not repeat moments in life, merely builds upon them. An opponent who has fallen victim to the blade a second time will relive the next most important pivotal point and so forth. Those of exceptionally high reality bending can resist this effect, but it tends to be far more effective on confluence users.

Emerald Iwaku: This blade was lovingly crafted of two swords, the Shield sword and the other half of Nagasayda. The blade has been painstakingly carved with complex and vivid murals of the Iwaku of before...of forests and fantastical creatures living in peace and harmony. The hilt depicts the legendary City on the Hill, dominated by a single rising spire. The dream of Asmodeus, so potent a vision as to completely shape Jack's life has been permanently etched into this blade. This blade was meant to mimic the Sheathe, in fact this blade was meant to be forged INTO the sheathe. Capable of powerful shields, this blade is offensive only in the nature of its rejection. Drawing on both Reality Bending and Confluence, this sword rejects the material it comes in contact with...thus making it a powerful offensive weapon as well as defensive. The trouble is that its effects are exhausting to fully use, Jack having barely mastered a tenth of its overall power. When creating the blade, Jack knew he would not be the one to truly wield it...and thus the sword naturally rejects the warrior, a reinforcement that he will never master it.

Magical Hammer: The Hammer used to forge Jack's items...it has great power imbued within it, but only in creation.

Desert Eagle: Given to him by Ryker as a reward for being a worthy opponent, Jack keeps this weapon safe and well cared for.

The Nothing Blade: A dagger Jack cannot recall making. Currently it is bonded to its sheathe and cannot be used in combat.

Strengths: Jack is, first and foremost, a warrior. Highly trained in blades and other technologies, Jack outfitted himself for war at the earliest, and remains powerful at the last. Under the tutelage of Asmodeus in the days long ago, Jack has picked up powerful oratory skills and the intelligence to lead an army should the need arise. At his roots, Jack maintains his ability as a legendary blacksmith…following the smiths of old Iwaku to become better than they ever were.

Weaknesses: A strange combination of both reality bending and reality consolidation, Jack represents a strange glitch in the Iwaku state of being. Thusly so, Reality bending seems to be more effective on him then it might be on someone else, the bending tearing at the bare physiology of the warrior and bypassing his natural resilience. In the center of his chest is an old scar that never heals…it was here he was impaled by Desolater long ago and has been unable to repair such extensive damage…this area is far more prone to injury. Since his defeat years ago, Jack seeks almost desperately to be viewed as a hero once more. Cast as a villain in Iwaku's history, Jack exhibits a strong inclination to dangerous situations and a hero complex grown from his lack of compensation for the actions of his past.

Primary Power: Ooze Physiology (Soul Arts)- Jack Shade has left his humanity behind. A creature of both angel and ooze construction, certain latent abilities are granted. Along with enhanced strength, speed, dexterity, and a high threshold to resist toxins and diseases, Jack is able to manipulate portions of his body to any shape and function he desires. The unstable composition of his body allows the warrior to grow extra appendages or even change the function of those he has. This includes cosmetic changes which could theoretically change both his height, gender, and body type given enough time. In times of severe injury, his body can even lose substantial shape entirely and dissolve into a thick slime-like puddle Jack is capable of moving, albeit slowly. While in this form he cannot attack or communicate and must find a safe location in order to reform...though the process could be extensive depending on the damage taken. Also, this is not to be confused with immortality. Truly mortal wounds can still kill Jack if significant enough.

Secondary Power: Ten Thousand Swords (Confluence) On the battlefield, Jack Shade's skills are hardly ill regarded. Trained by Asmodeus and raised in the chaos of the Outer realm (the other sites beyond Iwaku) Jack has proven vastly versatile in both ranged and melee combat. Preferring the one or two blade variation of combat, Jack no less excels in the style of any weapon he has crafted…maintaining that to truly make a legendary weapon, one must know how to use it.

Tertiary Power: Touch of Mysticism (Dream Weaving)- From the Beyond he traveled to after his defeat of Chaos, Jack has attempted to branch from the strict regimen of his warrior training into the arts of the arcane. Having yet to choose a true branch of magic to take, Jack is able to perform minor spells from a variety of schools and yet has yet to completely specialize in any. Of these schools his powers are most adept in evocation in the elemental class (Attack and damage based abilities) and surprisingly enough, the dark arts of necromancy.

Background: Once upon a time, Jack Shade was a scientist for Paorou. At the time he went by the name Amaren and was highly regarded for his research on confluence, reality bending, NPC theory, and Cycle study. When Paorou joined the cycle however, Amaren became ambitious and attempted to gain the same status. When the experiment failed, Amaren was reduced to a shapeless ooze and escaped the realm of Iwaku, his body a host of both cyclic and anti-cyclic energies. After removing the personality of 'Amaren' from the unified whole, the shapeless ooze continued its consumption across a variety of lands. Consolidating into the single personality 'Jack Shade' it gained a human form and from then on maintained its own personality. Jack entered Iwaku from the lands of Gaia and immediately gained the favor of Asmodeus, the knight teaching Jack the ways of combat and leadership. Serving him as a prized general, Jack defended the tower of Asmodeus during the Bread Cult offensive, facing overwhelming odds from both the ISAF and Bread Cult with limited backing from the shapeshifters and his one time love, Lycan Queen. Denied the support of his leader, Jack lost to Ryker in an unfair duel and ultimately surrendered at Verun Hill. Trading his soul for angelic powers, Jack abandoned his own guild to the leadership of Drake and flew off to face the tyrant. Stricken down against the Dark Lord, Jack was saved by Chaos and joined Rory briefly and leading a victory against the Fantasy tower. When facing Asmodeus however, Jack forced his former idol to realize the path of his twisted ambitions and rejoined the angel in hopes of helping him usher in the Emerald Iwaku. Helping Asmodeus relinquish his hold on the Egozombies, Jack helped them regain their identities as citizens. Betrayed to Chaos for his radical ideals, Jack was defeated far from his Lord and the Iwaku he loved by one he once regarded as a friend. Spared by Death who is revealed as the end result of Jack Shade (the Iwaku reaper), He leaves to pursue studies beyond Iwaku. Only recently does he find himself back in Iwaku, unaware of the why and how of his arrival.

Commendations:

Legacy of Crafters: Throughout the history of Iwaku, legendary smiths of stone, metal, and magic have risen and fallen. Jack seems to represent the next in line to the crafter's legacy. Well versed in crafting weapons of all types and sizes, Jack has used his understanding of magic to imbue this weaponry with powers both immense and subtle, earning himself a renowned status in the art of blacksmithing. This ability also plays into Jack's signature finisher strike known as Kaleidoscope Strike, an ability that uniquely calls out to the weapons Jack has constructed to strike an opponent in a brightly colored barrage of multi-purpose blades. This ability can be used in three tiers, ten strikes, one hundred strikes, and one thousand strikes. Currently the exertion of the third tier is too great to utilize, the first and second being suitable in combat but at a great cost of stamina.

(Accepted. Though I'd prefer it if you put down a weakness or two of the oozeform. Immortality is a pretty impressive power after all. Also, have you discussed that commendation with Asmo and Porg? It was my understanding that most characters started clean.

((Explanation- This commendation was established in the last war and will need to be in place for an IW event in the future. No worries, I don't presume to gain any more commendations then this. I did use the Kaleidescope attack to kill Palonis way back when o.o))

Re: Character Sheet Applications

Name: Tain

Race: Human (?)

Faction: Currently none

Place of Residence: AA Red Raccoon Dog

Appearance:

picture.php

Personality: Generally congenial and self-described as "quirky", Tain has an odd habit of saying things that either incriminating or are embarrassing (or should be) to himself. This trait typically comes out when he is upset over something. When on the job, he is business minded and objective oriented. He has a dangerous temper, though it normally only comes out after unrelenting provocation due to the fact that he despises this side of himself, even if it has aided him through dark times in the past.

Drivers: Tain's conscience is haunted by his inaction during the fall of Moonwings. Now he seeks to redeem himself by placing his reputation on the line, and delivering the assistance from his newly refitted airship to AFTA and her allies. He's here to help, but he isn't opposed to possibly making a profit on the side, being a freelance merchant and having bills to pay.

Equipment:
- Custom modified Air Mobile Strategic Cargo Cruiser (AA R.R.D.)
Length: 295m
Beam: 35m
Depth: 24.5m
Displacement: Data entry missing
Crew Complement: 300 (1,100 Maximum Occupancy)
Primary Powerplant: AFTA Engineering "Fenrir" Fusion Reactor
Secondary Powerplant: MWI Gas Turbine Generator
Propulsion:
3x C&W Pulsejets (Cruising/Rapid Acceleration)
5x C&W Turboprop Engines (Cruising/Maneuvering)
7x AE Grav Repulsors (Maneuvering/Altitude)
Armor: Data entry missing
Armament:
2x Deck mounted 64MJ Railguns (Turret)
2x Deck mounted 16inch Guns (Turret)
5x Block 1B Phalanx CIWS
2x Dorsal mounted 105mm Rotary Flex Guns
3x Dorsal mounted 25mm Cannons (Turrets)
Maximum Velocity: Data entry missing
Operating Range: Indefinite
Dual .45 caliber custom Kimber-model semi-automatic pistols
A small, durable data pad

Strengths: Tain has a keen mind and a sound body. His crew is responsive and loyal to him (for the most part) despite his quirks. He has an eye and instinct for making profits and in the past has taken great pride on navigating the most dangerous trade routes in the least amount of time. He's also a decent tactician, when pressed to do so. He was once pursued by a pirate fleet and eluded them through the span of eight sectors, with a little help from his navigator.

Weaknesses: Tain finds himself at the mercy of his feelings most of the time, and can be quite prone to being controlled by them. He's also extremely conscious of what happens to the R.R.D., as its fate is more or less tied to his own (and the cost of its refit put him in the hole; a debt owed to the Contessa). Reality Bending seems to be a chief concern of his, as he tends to steer the R.R.D. away from most Reality Bending hotspots.

Primary Power: Gun Fu [Confluence]
As it might sound, Tain has managed to harmonize his body as one with most small arms weaponry. His aim is impeccable at close-to-medium distances (approximately 40 meters), and his reflexes are startling. Body positioning and scenario analysis make him a hard target to hit, even when in the open. It has been described by those who have survived a hostile encounter with him as, "Fighting someone with lightning reflexes and 30 foot long arms that can poke holes in you." He also has an uncanny knack for finding ammunition in strange places.

Secondary Power: Barrier Projection [SoulArts]
Tain is able to project some impressive physical energy barriers, presumably through sheer force of will. The catch seems to be that it requires a fair amount of concentration on his part, and also requires at least one hand free to complete the projection. The direction of the projected barrier is controlled through his hand positioning, and as such, when using both hands he can project a larger, stronger barrier. Likewise the barrier can be used as a bludgeoning tool, as it seems to block all physical and metaphysical objects with the exception of other objects created through SoulArts. If the other user's SoulArt is more powerful than Tain's, the barrier will fail. The largest conventional projectile he has stopped thus far was a 3kg sabot fired from a railgun, though it knocked him unconscious after contacting the barrier. The color of the barriers tend to mirror whatever mood he's in.

Tertiary Power: ?

Background:
Tain was once a well known citizen of Moonwings. Known for biting insults and sarcasm, he was what he considered 'the dark side' of what he thought was a city that was too 'touchy feely.' He strove to offset the friendly community, to "balance it" as he put it.

When the wars and riots took hold he stood by and watched, content to treat the squabbling as entertainment. He laughed as the streets were strewn with corpses and the castle was besieged. But then the unthinkable happened, and the very thing he had not planned for occurred: Moonwings crumbled before his eyes.

The hapless citizens were left stranded following the chaos, and he witnessed the sight of a usurper wandering the streets, collecting the distraught former citizens and promising them a better life in their new empire. Outraged, he spoke against the cloaked figure, denouncing them as a disgusting scavenger who was profiting off the chaos that had been wrought. The usurper scorned him, and after calling him a fool for not joining them he was promptly struck unconscious by a gay ninja.

When he came to, there was no one left. All the inhabitants had scattered to seek refuge; either with the usurper or their friends and families. Even the Contessa had taken her remaining followers and fled the destruction. He was alone. He boarded his airship and began searching for work, becoming a traveling merchant to make ends meet. He was highly successful, and eventually acquired the Red Raccoon Dog, his finest airship.

But something nagged at him. For all his success, it was all hollow. He still kept in contact with his closest friends, but he came to realize just what it was that had brought he and his friends together. He promptly changed course and set off for AFTA, where he pledged his aid to the Contessa in exchange for her footing the bill for the refit of the Red Raccoon Dog, in order to prepare it for its most arduous mission to date...

Aiding the beleaguered city of Iwaku.

But a little too late...

(( Dun dun dun! ))

Re: Character Sheet Applications

CHARACTER SHEET

Name: Tegan

Race: Human/Celestial Fragments

Faction: None

Place of Residence: Somewhere in Anirune Forest. Tegan began keeping a house there, a long time ago, to have a place of grounding. It provides her solace and a place to begin again whenever she wakes next. It's filled with all sorts of bric-a-brac; many lives worth of collecting.

Appearance: Tegan dresses simply; soft fabrics, flattering, slightly loose cuts. She favors the color white.

tegan.jpg

Personality: Strong-willed, loves life, tries to remain optimistic and enjoy the good moments in life while she can. However, she is confused, frightened, and exhausted, though she tries to conceal this. Mercurial. Tegan enjoys playing with words, dancing, drinking wine and reading.

Drivers: To find the reason why she keeps waking up in new lives. To find relief. Find out what happened to her lover.

Equipment: Wires, key to her home, maps, supplies. Her house is full of various relics, books, maps, wines and other strange things.

Strengths: Does not fear death, or much else, for that matter. Sees to the heart of things. Massive stores of knowledge that resurface.

Weaknesses: The memories of Tegan and all of the lives she's lived are starting to overrun her psyche'. She frequently goes into fugue states, hallucinates and becomes confused as to who she is.

Primary Power: Tricks of the Light. Dreamweaving. Tegan can manipulate the ethereal light within her to do her will. It is especially useful for creating illusions and burning shafts of light. This power is at its strongest when Tegan is surrounded by darkness.

Secondary Power: Celestial Body. Soulart. The fragments of what she once was will react strangely to every body Tegan possesses. This body heals very quickly and is immune to lower level dreamweaving attacks.

Tertiary Power: Red String. Confluence. Tegan's weapon of choice are razor sharp red strings she keeps wrapped around metal rings on her fingers. They have a far reach, and are malleable enough to ensnare or rigid enough to slice. Accuracy is difficult. Tegan must be careful when fighting with these, unless she wishes to become a victim of her own weapon.

Background:

Tegan did not always have a name, or a body, like the ones she inhabits now. There was a place of endless stars and between them endless night. From the endless night, they came, and He was with them. They were enemies for a time, and they fought for a time, rending one another's bodies, but never destroying the other.

***

What little Tegan can remember, there was a war, or something like a war. Somehow, in the heat of battle, they came to love each other. . .

***

This war was madness. They could no longer tell where the stars began and the night ended. There was nothing left.

They must go.

Where?

Beyond the wall.

We will not survive.

We will not survive.

There was no way they could break the wall. They would shatter and be returned to nothingness together. It was fool proof.

Until everything went wrong.

She did not count on the wall shattering, leaving burning shards in her body as she fell, fell in the space behind the wall. Something was cut out of her and flung away, leaving her feeling a cold emptiness she had never felt before.

And then, nothing.

*
*

*

When she woke for the first time, she was surrounded by sunlight and her lover was gone. Then, it hit her like a wave-the memories, so many memories of these people who were her, but they were not her. It was as if she were waking from a long dream that refused to leave her. There was a whimper, and she looked down to the child in her arms that she knew, she knew, was hers.

And yet. . .

Tegan.

It was not her name, she had never had one, but it held her mind like a chain.
When Tegan woke next, she was very small, her tiny hands reaching for something in the dark . . .

When Tegan woke, she looked upon the face of her husband and decided it was time to search for her lover. . .

So many times she woke, and every time was like starting over. She was beginning to forget herself more and more. Where did she end and these lives begin? Why were these memories plaguing her? Why couldn't she just forget and live and die and live and die?

When Tegan woke again, there was a battle. She was to kill a king, along with the thousands like her. She did not have time to put herself together, before a man with wings came from above and took her head. . .

When Tegan woke, he was in a deep wood, and here he decided to build his house, so that he would always have a place to return when he woke. When he was finished, travelled the land, unearthing the pieces of his lives he had hidden away, and brought them to the house. Though, Tegan did not know why he bothered keeping these things at all. . .

And then, she woke again, and everything was different from the last time. . .

Commendations:

Star Charting: Tegan is adept at coming up with quick plans in a tight situation - plans that often outwit the enemy or cause convincing illusions. She can trick and deceive most standard NPCs, unless this action is overruled by the mods.

Re: Character Sheet Applications

Name: Natalie Rose

Race: Human

Age: 23

Faction: N/A

Place of Residence: A small, once abandoned house within Anirune forest.

Appearance:

Wears this in front of people:

Personality: Natalie suffers from a number of problems. For starters, she has two personalities. One is sweet and endearing, but extremely shy and meek, while the other, that is all-knowing and dark in nature tends to over-power the former. To other people, she seems cold and cruel, often attacking people as a result of her "weaker" personality's fear of new people being distorted by her more dominant personality. In this sense, she's like a bear; if you get near something she wants, she'll agressively attack, indiscriminate towards whether the person she's attacking is able to fight or not.

She tends to rarely speak due to speech problems. Because of this, she often ends up frustrated and seriously misunderstood by the few people she doesn't attack, causing her to become agressive anyway. The troubled girl is thus often regarded as an aggressive and unforgiving youth.

Drivers: Her drivers can be divided into two kinds. The things that drive her weaker personality, and the things that drive her more powerful personality. Her weaker, more meek personality wants to be understood by people, some sort of normalcy, and to be with people willing to put up with her. Her darker side has a primordial lust for power, and a slight bloodlust justified by a desire to protect herself.

Equipment: In her house is a lot of stolen food, and some furniture. She has her mask, and a black hooded robe that she uses for those rainy days. She also carries a 5'dagger on her at most times when she's outside of her little home.

Strengths: Often used to hunting animals, she has become rather adept at the art of the hunt, and can take down animals much more agile or faster than herself. Furthermore, because she has become used to hunting, she has learned to use her powers more efficiently. This also crosses over into the field of combat, where she treats the enemy much like a prey item. Thus, she is rather unaffected by killing things, and is willing to kill other humanoids if they pose a threat to her existance.

Weaknesses: Natalie is an emotional wreck and is hardly able to communicate intelligeably with other people. She finds it hard to work with others due to her self-preservationist ideals. Also, she has few morals and is easy to recruit by those that offer her positions of power. Finally, because she is merely a human, she is rather frail as compared to some other races, and can't really take much of a hit.

Primary Power: Fear Garden [reality-bending]
This is probably her strongest and most deadly power. Using this to down the most powerful enemies she encounters, she suddenly bends reality so that anybody within a 50 feet radius of her and herself is taken to a part of insanity where demonic plants randomly grow. These very large plants are under her command, and generally attack anybody that doesn't look like her. The plants resemble Venus flytraps, except they are large enough to consume human-sized morsels. Because these are plants, they are highly susceptible to fire wind, projectiles, whatchamacall it. They're like cranidos from Pokemon, a "glass cannon". Also, they're not exactly the most accurate or agile creatures in the world, and only attack things that come within five meters of them. She is guaranteed to lose consciousness five minutes after this power has been used.

Secondary Power: Hunter's Knowledge [Confluence]
She has spent a good part of life teaching herself how to hunt animals and fend off creatures much larger than herself in Anirune Forest, allowing her to be calculating and clever in battle. It also gives her an innate ability to strike and attack in an efficient and deadly manner.

Tertiary Power: Mourning Call [Soularts]
Natalie becomes covered in a purple aura, an embodiment of the pain that she has endured and all of the failures that she has experienced. For a minute after the spell is cast, anybody that attacks her physically will suddenly feel an intense pain cast upon them for about five seconds. The pain is NOT and I repeat NOT fatal nor powerful enough to knock somebody out unless they're already too weak anyway (which at that point they generally wouldn't be able to muster an attack that would activate this).

Background: Natalie was born on the other side of the mirror in Insanity. Her mother was happy and nice to her until her father died. Unable to deal with the death of her husband, Natalie's mother took out her grief and rage upon her sole daughter. Natalie, finding herself powerless, began to think of herself as weak. As the abuse continued, her (currently) more dominant personality formed, causing her once nice demeanor to fade into the back of her mind.

Eventually, she was kicked out of her mother's home and left to fend for herself outside of Insanity. Over the years she drifted and found an abandoned shack in Anirune Forest where she took refuge. Over the years that she spent, she learned to hunt and kill prey, making her innate powers more controllable and efficient. She also developed a slight bloodlust, which piqued the interest of those who initiated the invasion of Shapeshifter Town in Chapter 2. She is said to be connected to them currently somehow, but because she is rather unknown among Iwakuans, she has yet to divulge any information about the Elder Spider's origins.

Primary and tertiary power. Any weaknesses to them aside from "someone could escape from the plants" or "you could just not attack her?" because one seems like an instawin (if it doesn't kill them it will at least stack the odds decidedly against most characters. Not to mention the instant mass teleport could be HIGHLY annoying to the story.) while the other seems to make you invulnerable. Please clarify :)

EDIT: This character mostly serves as an evil deus ex machina for transition from Chaps. 3 to 4, but I'll go ahead and clarify/add more weaknesses for the sake of fairness. I would've saved it as a draft, but . . . yeah .___.;.

I see Asmo has been plotting again, or you are more involved in the story than I thought. In any case, though she is still invulnerable, I'll HESITANTLY allow it. I'm sure the creative roleplayers on this forum can find a way around that ability. (bunch of powerplayers...the lot of them :@ )

Re: Character Sheet Applications

Name: Feral

Race: Neko Angel

Faction: Leader of the Negative Legion

Place of Residence: Anirune Forest, ruins of the Mature Tower

Appearance:
afadfwqwq.jpg

Personality: Bipolar, swinging between extreme depressions and over-sexual feline excitement. Harbours a deep resentment for the Iwakuan Elite and a self-righteous desire to stand up for "the little people".

Drivers: After taking over the Negative Legion, Feral has perverted its religion to bring in strong Emo and Noob elements. He now upholds its cause - namely sympathising with the Noobs and opposing the Iwaku Elite.

Equipment: A suitcase with his dress inside. The F.Y.A. Umbrella. Cat claws.

Strengths: Rabble-rouser, friendly/harmless seeming, Neko agility.

Weaknesses: Little combat ability, sexual confusion, resentment that makes him a moron at times.

Primary Power: INFECTIOUS WHISPER (Dreamweaving)
If Feral whispers to someone, it casts a spell. The whisper stays in the victim's head, exploiting their doubts and fears. If that victim then interacts with someone else, the whisper will pass into their mind too. The whisper spreads like a psychic virus and slowly erodes morale.

Secondary Power: F.Y.A. UMBRELLA (Reality Bending)
Stolen from Shadowform and the old F.Y.A. Cult, this umbrella allows Feral to phase out of a scene and be unharmed by it. It is a weaker form of Megane's commendation power. With the umbrella open Feral can, for example, run through a firefight, avoid an explosion, be ignored by a charging enemy, etc. Feral can only use the umbrella when in female form.

Tertiary Power: GENDER-BENDER (SoulArts)
When Feral puts on his dress, he assumes a more feminine form and can use the F.Y.A. Umbrella. When in male form, he retains his Neko dexterity and agility.

Background: Feral arrived in Iwaku at the end of the Cult Wars, descending from the Neko-Angel realm after hearing about the Asmodeus Roleplaying Corporation. He enrolled on the Versaedian Programme, which aimed to train up Emissaries for the Dark Prince (the elite group that would later become the Crimson Eye and then the Iwaku Knights). But although he passed the entrance exam he failed miserably at the first-round interview. He was practically laughed out of the building.

He spent the next few years drifting the land. When the Admin War broke out he was terrified of being drafted by the ISAF, the Bread Cult or the Ego-Zombies, so instead he disguised himself as a woman and hid in the outlying towns. The closest he ever came to action was when the last F.Y.A. Cult safehouse was raided by Ego-Zombies near to where he was squatting. Once the fires died away, Feral picked amongst the ruins and stumbled upon the F.Y.A. Umbrella - all that was left of Shadowform, an old hero of Iwaku. He took the Umbrella and used it to hide himself for the rest of the war.

When peace was restored, Feral found himself amongst the many minority communities - former Ego-Zombies still suffering the after-effects of Prolific X; Bread Cultists dispossessed of house and home; ISAF war-wounded struggling to live on their war pensions, etc. King Rory's new welfare state could not provide for them all, so many groups left to become gypsies and nomads in Anirune Forest. Feral, now obsessed with cross-dressing and furious at what the Elite had let happen during the War, followed them into the wilderness.

And there he became involved in the new cult that grew between the nomads... the new religion that would call itself.... the Negative Legion.

Personality:
A light hearted old man, Hallafax spent his whole life looking for answers. Since he has been sealed away in stasis for a number of eons, he has no connection with the current society. Thus he tends not to socialize. When he does speak he states hardened facts or plausible theories, yes and no answer with their reasons, and calculate probabilities.

Drivers:
The pursuit of knowledge. Every day you learn something new and you never know everything. Hallafax pursues the noble goal of knowing as much as he can before he dies.

Equipment:
Bag of books: This is his collection of trusted note books. However these are no ordinary books. These books were created to write themselves. Every historical incident, scientific breakthrough, and literal work has been, is being, or will be written into these books. Bag of trinkets: A simple collection of tools, good luck charms, and necessities of life.

[FONT=&quot]Strengths:[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot] Hallafax is a jack of all trades, knowing almost everything makes it easy to pick a trick or two. But he has a knack for tinkering. Take it apart, put it back together, and hope it works again

Weaknesses: Battle, combat, fighting . . . . love

Primary Power: The Yin Yang Effect (Confluence/Reality-Bending) Existence comes in pairs: light and dark, hot and cold, male and female, life and death. Each force balances the other. If one weighs to heavy then the rhythm of life loses a beat or two. Hallafax has the ability to produce a field of either Confluence or Reality-bending to create balance in the situation at hand. Never used to his advantage.

Secondary Power: A Tinkerer's Knowledge (DreamWeaving) Ever since he was a kid Hallafax has been taking random things apart. After a while he started to understand the basic mechanics of many objects and if he didn't know he found out. Now with a little thought he can figure out how must things work at a glance. And use this knowledge to exploit it's mechanical defects. Locks, engines, guns, robots, etc all simple machines.

Tertiary Power: Ageless Fitness (SoulArts) A great man some where once said that age was caused by time and living. Even though Hallafax's body has aged in the eons of time spent in cryogenics it has not lived those eons. So this man of such age is not limited to walking with a cane at the speed of smell(though he likes to, it gives him character he says). Instead he is as fit as a crazy monkey. Running, jumping, and even climbing if he's needed to do so(he doesn't like physical activity).

Background: Hallafax was born to a high middle class family. He grew up strong and smart learning as much as he could from his parents; if they didn't know the answer then he found it in the library. He made his through his schooling, went to a well indoctrinate collage, and became a Ph.D. Threw his adventures for more knowledge he came across a lively women and fell in love. About a year or so passed and the two got married and had a son. The day his son was born was the sadist day of his life. The doctors found that his son had incubated a virus that could kill a man in a day. The doctors said that the son would only last through that night. But this was the good news the doctor said, for the virus had spread to all who were in the room at the time the son was born. All the doctors had it and so did he and his wife. They said that they had no cure for the virus and that the drugs they had would only prolong the inevitable. Hallafax's wife decided to die with her son and the two passed away that night. But Hallafax new there was a cure, time was all he needed. He found his only choice was a cryogenics lab that would freeze him till a cure could be found and one was found. When the lab thawed him out it had been 323 years since his family's death. His body had aged considerably but though it was old it was still as nimble as he remembered. His eyes had trouble from not seeing for so long but his ears could hear the crickets from outside the build as if the insect was on his shoulder. The doctors cured him of his disease and sent him on his way. He had much to do, 323 years worth of knowledge to read up on. So for ten years he studied and absorbed. Till one day a thought came to him; He could be the most intelligent man in the universe. All he had to do was freeze himself for thousands of years at a time, come out of it learn about those past thousand years, and then freeze himself again. But hunting through dust archives for thousands of year's worth of moldy tomes was a friendly thought. But he had a fix for that too, he would create his own books that would right themselves. This would make his learn so much more timely, not to mention he would have to learn the language of the time either. So after a few years he had finally developed his books. He headed back to the cryogenics lab to set off on his knowledge quest. There he lay in cryogenics pod #596734 till Iwaku decided his knowledge could benefit it's realm.

Myrnodyn's Denial reason
(I'm very sorry but... no...just no...This character sheet literally SCREAMS meta-gaming at me. Whether intended that way or not I can't allow it. I've already been iffy a few times at allowing equipment that functions as a power, yours will be no exception. A library would have been okay, but not books that allow him to know everything down to the most well-kept secrets. (strike 1) The primary power could potentially be a VERY powerful effect if it was used in (for instance) Insanity, effectively dethroning Paorou from godhood in an instant. As a newbie you couldn't have known this and the concept seems good, but I can't allow this either.
Your secondary power allows you to choose from a VAST amount of powers, most of which are already overpowered in their own rights, let alone combined with other powers of the same caliber, you can surely see why this is going to be a no-no as well.

Your third power is Meta-gaming incarnate, and could go 2 ways.

1: you use it as it's no doubt intended. Surviving collapsing buildings, have that sword miss your lung by inches, landing in a haystack. This would not be a problem, but this 'power' is something all main characters from IW inherently share, it's the bit of luck that divides the heroes from the rest of the populace.

2: you use it as a power. you are poisoned, and there is only one cure in the entire world, and it just happens to be found in that field of marigolds you are walking through. Or a huge firestorm destroyed everything for MILES around, but by fortune, the puddle you found was just deep enough to protect you from it and leave you unscathed while you managed to breathe through a conveniently situated straw. ... Obviously, this use of the power classifies as godmodding, and theres already way too much of that without this power in the mix...sorry.

I hope I've been clear in my reasons WHY I can't allow this character in IW, and I hope you know it's nothing personal. Either deal with these issues appropriately or make a new (allowable) character and I'll welcome you to IW with open arms. Keep it around though, it'd be a shame to go to waste after the work you put into it, and you might be able to use it for another RP.)

Re: Character Sheet Applications

Name: Uriel Verasius

Age: late 30s early 40s.

Race: Human

Faction: The Knights of Iwaku

Place of Residence: None

Appearance:
mick012.jpg
mick012.jpg

mick007.jpg

Personality: During the Time of the Legacy's voyage, Uriel was a Determined, stubborn and courageous Sergeant in the Legacy's defence force, able to keep calm under fire (most of the time).
Since the Death of Tactical Officer Sura and the other tragedies of the end of the Legacy's voyage, Uriel has become prone to bouts of rage and depression, both of which seem to drive him to drink.

Drivers: To ensure he averts the fate of his timeline, thus redeeming himself for his failure to save Sura.

Equipment:
Knight of Iwaku Hooded Cloak.
Webbing, on which he carries his weapons (a short sword on the belt, a large calibre pistol in a leg holster and an M-14 rifle over his shoulder)
combat boots and fatigues.
Assorted Necromancer's items (a tome and several little scrolls)

Strengths: Combat, fighting and generally getting things done

Weaknesses: Uriel is obsessed with completeing his mission and averting the fate of

Primary Power: NECROMANCY [Soul Arts]

Secondary Power: WEAPONS AND TACTICS [Confluence]

Tertiary Power: The Cigar [Reality Bending/Soul Arts]
A gift from his Creator, given to him when he chose to continue on to iwaku and not go to either paradise or rebirth.
It allows Uriel to speak to his Creator, though the Creator can only give Uriel information pertaining to himself, and there are some things about Uriel that Even the Creator is forbidden from explaining (hence it cannot be used to Metagame, and i intend to use it to continue the theme i ahd at the end of legacy.)

Background: Uriel Verasius has fought with guns, knifes his hands and the dread art of Necromancy. he has fought as saviour and the damned.
he, along with the other Survivors of the Legacy now form the Knights of Iwaku

During the Legacy's journey, Uriel and several others were captured by the Torment, the other angel ship that had been corrupted by the Rift Storms. Tortured aboard the vessel for months, he and some of the surviving Legacy members captured managed to escape back aboard the Legacy.

When both the Legacy and the Torment crash-landed back on Iwaku, now revealed to be the gateway to Sanctuary, Grant was one of the remaining crewmembers who managed to reach the gates. Together, they found themselves in Iwaku just at the end of the Admin War, and they began to travel with Asmodeus in the hope of preventing history from repeating itself and stopping the Rift Storms from occurring again.

Re: Character Sheet Applications

Name:
Soulless/Saneless

Race:
Supposedly 'human'

Faction:
No Faction

Place of Residence:
None- Wanderer

Appearance:
The first thing a person would notice while taking a quick glance of Soulless would be his clothing. Simply put, his clothing can remind someone mostly of mental ward clothing. His shirt is mostly dirty from wandering, but his sleeves are long and are thin, reminiscent of a straitjacket. However, his shirt does not have the buckles and is rather more like a white sweater with extra long sleeves. The straitjacket has many pockets stitched into it to allow Soulless to be able to hold more if he so desires it. Other than this strange fabric that covers his chest, he is not discernible as something that is different from the many others who wander Iwaku. He only has a few other quirks about his appearance that are largely not unique at all. If he at one point loses his shirt and dons a different one, it would be hard to track him simply because he largely looks like any other kid his age at first glance.

A secondary thing a person would notice upon him is pale, thin skin that looks very soft and easily cut. His veins are easily seen on his arms and general body, albeit not in a way that would being much attention to himself. He merely looks somewhat sickly, although due to his time in the sunlight nowadays he is beginning to become darker skinned in the face and neck area. However since his sweater and his pants cover every other part of his body, he is still strangely pale and sickly looking in his limbs and general body. His general body structure is that of thin person with very little muscle, mimicking his sickly appearance. The only difference is that he is not actually sickly, but instead quite healthy. The sickly look only comes from his abilities, which shall be described later.

Apart from his shirt, Soulless's clothing seem much like medical wear. His pants are somewhat too large, typical of a one-size-fits-all category, and is made from the same tough, uncomfortable fabric that his shirt is made out of. The only difference is that his shoes are more of the typical wear, dirty white walking shoes probably acquired with a simple purchase in a nameless store in a nameless town. They seem newer and less dirty compared to his usual clothing, alluding to the fact that they were not part of his original clothing.

Other than his clothes, Soulless's hair is messy, oily, and generally unkempt. It is a dull black color, albeit how dark it is is debatable since it is so covered in dirt, blood, and various unnameable things. His face is boyish, expressing a boy of about fourteen years of age. His eyes however tell a different tale. It's silver gaze is plenty older than merely fourteen, albeit when he is feeling rather positive his face is very much as if he was far younger than his neutral age. His general expression is usually that of joy or slight confusion- it is very rare to see anger, sadness, or other emotions on his face (in this form anyways).

As a side note, Saneless looks exactly like Soulless excepting for the fact his expression is quite a bit darker and more aggressive, making him look a few years older than fourteen by expression and general demeanor alone.

Personality:
Soulless/Saneless, like his namesake, is best described as two different personalities. They are both aware of each other and have different 'roles' to play. They both support each other and actively interact with one another, with rarely anything forceful happening between the two. Usually, one steps in for the other if needed and they generally hold a high respect and affection for one another. Without the other, just one personality alone surely wouldn't be able to function. Because of that, the two are extremely protective of each other for their own reasons and even though their personalities are very different and they should clash against one another, they get along surprisingly well. Soulless could be described as happy, lonely, and disturbingly joyful while Saneless could be thought of as cold, protective, and malicious.

The most active and sometimes described falsely as 'primary' personality goes by the name of Soulless, albeit because he dislikes any negative connotation associated with his name he nowadays goes by the nickname Soul. He is very friendly to strangers, seemingly very naive despite his surprisingly long lifetime. He is usually differentiated from his other personality by the hollow tone of his voice, making his apparent emotions apparently shallow compared to the deep inhuman tone to all his words (thus his namesake). Despite his general dirty appearance and long history, he is surprisingly bright and happy about the world, only occasionally falling to his inner demons and becoming antisocial to sit by himself and think about mull over his past, his future, and the world at large. Enjoying touches more than words, he prefers not to speak but to rather touch and make quiet noises, choosing only to speak when he wants to vocalize ideas that require more than a simple whine or grunt. When feeling somewhat unhappy, he has a tendency to make whining noises associated with his putting his face against a person's body part, nuzzling forcefully. When happy, he generally makes higher pitched noises associated with constant, light, and frequent touching of hands or arms.

He is seemingly content with the simple joys of life, albeit upon closer analysis he seems to act strangely around negative areas. He seems to be unable to recognize danger when it rears up in his face. He is very rarely scared, angry, or depressed about things. This spawns from a somewhat delusional mentality that there can be nothing wrong with the world ever. Whenever bad things happen around him, he has a tendency to either downscale or not react whatsoever, acting as if nothing was wrong. Because of this, his moral standing is somewhat questionable and he has been known to commit acts that seem terrible but he seems not to be affected by his own disquieting behavior. Despite this current mentality, his time outside his bubble of joys and happiness are beginning to show as he has started to recognize good and bad and actively tries to do what is 'good' in his mind.

However, ultimately he desires someone to follow blindly, a mentality that he can simply adopt and live by without thinking too much or questioning what is going on around him. Because of this, he can be very easy to manipulate, which is why he depends on his other personality to protect him if things become bad. He very easily clings to people, especially so if they are the leader type and he prefers having a path chosen for him than to try and find his path. Although Soulless does what he can to never have enough time to really think about his situation, he is quite lonely and desires nothing more than a belief he can put all his faith into.

Saneless is described sometimes falsely as a 'secondary' personality. In fact, he is only less active because he allows his alternate personality to have more freedom (also the fact that he has a strong dislike for people and would rather sit in his mind than deal with other sentient beings). He is in fact plenty active, usually spending his time flicking through the emotions that they both share and 'filing away' memories that he would rather not let his happier half experience. He is extremely protective, extremely violent, and extremely suspicious and doesn't trust anyone other than Soulless, even people that Soulless trusts fully like Paorou. He merely goes along in order to make sure his other half isn't put in a bad situation.

He only really takes over once Soulless himself is either mentally incapacitated for whatever reason or when their lives are threatened. He is much more violent and brutal, not caring about the rights and wrongs of the world or trying to make friends. Finding very little to appreciate in the 'outside world' away from his mind, he only really reveals himself to protect Soulless. Although he seems just a 'protector' to Soulless, Saneless does have his own personality with his own set or morals, likes, dislikes, drives and weaknesses. However, because he is so antisocial the only people who really know about him would be Soulless himself. He prefers to keep away from everyone else, although because of his apparent dislike of the world or merely because he is socially awkward no one is really sure.

What is certain however is his dedication to Soulless. Saneless holds a dedication that is strong and almost religious in nature. Because of his absolute way of thinking, he has a tendency to give no mercy to anyone who tries to bring harm to his other personality, no matter who, what, or why. He is heavyhanded and his judgment is clouded, usually resulting in his so called 'protection' to be over-amplified and he usually ends up killing a person or two over simple things like a mugging or simple ignorance. To those who know only his surface, is is cold, callous, violent and he has no regard for human (or animal, or anything sentient) life. He will be more than happy brutally slaughtering someone if he believed it would benefit Soulless or himself (but mainly Soulless) in any meaningful way. However, his cold exterior is usually just because he doesn't want to get close to anyone and so he drives everyone away with violence and anger and brutal words followed up by even more brutal actions.

Towards Soulless, he becomes a kind of parent figure. Soulless thinks of him as a kind of guardian that is always there, keeping him safe and a person he can always go to whenever he felt lonely to enjoy himself and play in his own imagination. Saneless is surprisingly caring and affectionate in his own way, preferring things such as patting over hugs and isn't as vocal in his joy as much as he has it on the expression on his face. Unlike his happier part, he has no hollowness in his voice, only a gruff manner of speaking that could be considered smooth, even attractive if only he chose to speak in such a manner. Instead, he forces himself to sound just as antisocial and violent as he acts, reserving his deep and quiet affection for one person only for reasons known only to him.

In general, both Soulless and Saneless depend on each other for survival, comfort, and general companionship when no one else is available. Saneless is somewhat reclusive and only shows his affectionate side towards Soulless. Without Soulless's returning affection, Saneless would never have anyone to depend on and his paranoia would take over, making him a madman (this his namesake) that has made himself an enemy of the world. Conversely, Soulless depends on Saneless for a feeling of comfort and safety when he is unsure of the path he is following and readily takes the advice of his more violent counterpart.

Drivers:
Soulless:
-finding somewhere to fit in
-being accepted
-places to enjoy himself with everyone else
-more friends and more happy memories

Saneless:
-Soulless and Soulless alone

Equipment:
Soulless/Saneless keep a small knife at their belt, used mainly to cut themselves or provide a weapon when their ability is somehow ineffective. The knife is hollow on the inside, allowing to be filled with blood when cut into their skin and provide a nasty surprise in a fight.

Strengths:
Soulless:
-easily makes friends
-very sociable
-following orders

Saneless:
-protectiveness
-ability to make hard decisions
-very apt in fighting
-instinctive or 'gut' feelings

Weaknesses:
Soulless:
-easily manipulated
-very naive
-is easily hurt
-has a fractured sense of reality

Saneless:
-extremely violent
-rarely makes friends
-inability to trust
-his total devotion to Soulless makes him vulnerable

Primary Power:
Blood Manipulation- Category SoulArts
Soulless/Saneless is able to manipulate his blood to form blades, plates, whatever. He can also produce massive amounts of blood depending on the resources in his body to do so. Overabuse of this ability causes severe malnutrition and he could easily die if he isn't careful. He holds an empathetic connection with his blood. Soulless himself isn't as determined to win fights- typically, his blood is slower, less violent, and he generally 'fights' be allowing himself to be hurt. His blood does the rest of the work for him. He is extremely careful to use as little resources as possible. In comparison, Saneless is a master. He manipulates his blood aggressively, actively abusing his abilities and breaking the limits of his body with his sheer determination to win. He doesn't care for limits and doesn't notice when he breaks them. When he fights it is usually an en-masse slaughter because of his unexpected way of battle and the nature of his blood manipulation abilities.

Secondary Power:
Regeneration- Category SoulArts
Soulless/Saneless is able to regenerate normally fatal injuries surprisingly quickly (although it is a horrific drain on resources). This effect was once very slow, now it is a noticeable threat due to his time with the King of Insanity and his personal efforts to be more like him and look up to him. This effect is limited as he cannot recover from instantly fatal wounds (such as a gunshot to the head) and he cannot recover from extremely extensive injuries (disembowelment) without using a horrific amount of resources in his body. Soulless specializes in this ability, able to regenerate limbs and organs with enough internal resources to do so. However, Saneless completely gives up on regeneration (mainly because he has no such connection to Paorou) and focuses all his efforts into Blood Manipulation.

Tertiary Power:
Eternal Youth-Category SoulArts
You are only as young as you feel, and this statement easily is described in this third rather passive ability. Neither Soulless not Saneless seem to 'age' appearance wise, although it is sometimes thought that Saneless looks older because he doesn't really care for remaining young and so switching to this personality really does age the body. Since Soulless focuses much of his time on being happy and childish, this is reflected on the fact he doesn't seem to age at all.

Background:
Soulless/Saneless were always together from the very start of their existence. However, it is rather unknown how he truly came into Iwaku. He only became a notable figure once he arrived at Insanity, happily being a regular there and a familiar face to all. With the time of peace he arrived in, the knowledge of Saneless and his blood manipulation skills were only later found out during the war that destroyed the previous Iwaku. Before that, Soulless was simply known as an androgynous character who prefers the term of 'he' and is extremely affectionate. He looked up to Paorou-sama and so in efforts to become much like him developed his regeneration ability. When his ability to control blood and the destructive effects of Saneless came to light, Paorou-sama made Soulless/Saneless a defender of the Nerf Castle. There he followed Parou's every order without hesitation or suspicion, completely happy in merely following orders in the belief he was fighting for some greater cause and not bothering to think for himself.

Soon after Iwaku was remade, Soulless and Saneless spent the next while in the remnants of Nerf Castle to recover lost resources and to think to themselves about what to do next. After a time, Soulless once again returned to Insanity in order to try and find a direction in which to go- but the defeat seemed to change Paorou-sama in a way he didn't feel he could follow the orders of anymore- simply because there were no longer any orders to follow. Because of this, he fled Insanity and began to wander Iwaku, seeking a place to stay and be welcomed and to have that feeling of serving a greater purpose once again with Saneless always protecting him should the time come.

Commendations:

Lunacy's Salvation: The madness and childlike innocence of Soulless sometimes causes a glitch in the Cycle, averting the fates of those he cares about. If Soulless embraces someone to protect them, they will be spared half of the damage they would have received. Soulless himself still takes full damage, but with this power he can sometimes protect someone completely from harm.

Re: Character Sheet Applications

CHARACTER SHEET

Name: Zypher Hamasaki

Race: Human

Faction: AFTA Space Station

Place of Residence: He uses his crashed space pod as a place to stay.

Appearance:
300px-3D_Jr.jpg
Except blond.

Personality: Hyper, spunky and happy-go-lucky are some of the best descriptors for Zypher. He constantly has a grin on his face and always tries his best at every challenge thrown at him.

Drivers: To explore Iwaku world.

Equipment: Twin handguns, his broken space pod, a backpack with some clothing and food, AFTA Space Station communicator built into the space pod (unreliable)

Strengths: Zypher is good at finding the bright side in most situations and keeping an upbeat attitude at all times. Zypher is also a crack shot with his pistols, being an extremely skilled marksman.

Weaknesses: When disarmed Zypher is pretty defenseless, being a bit more physically weak. Zypher is also easily distracted by guys he finds attractive.

Primary Power: Dreamweaver - Enchanted Bullets: One set of Zypher's ammo has been enchanted to fire bullets that can affect even incorporeal creatures and creatures that normally are only affected by magical means.

Secondary Power: Soularts - J-Pop Beam: Zypher has the ability to fire a "セクシ ヒィム" (Sekushi Biimu) from his heart which creates phantom J-Pop music to distract, annoy and amuse those within a thirty foot radius. If anyone is hit directly from the beam they instantly must dance for the duration of the song, but can still act provided it's part of their routine.

Tertiary Power: Confluence - Trick shot: Zypher can shoot from the hip, with one arm behind his back, or in various other ways. It's flashy but isn't really nessicary. The only benefit he derives from this is the capability of shooting while hiding his gun.

Background: Zypher was living happily upon the AFTA spacestation til one day curiosity got the better of him and he jettisoned himself in a space pod down to Iwaku. For the first month of his stay he stuck to the area near his pod, not encountering anyone but keeping in contact with the AFTA Roots and attempting to repair his space-pod so he might be able to return to the space station.

Name: Noise Kakuno

Race: Human

Origin: The Desert City of Loc Lac, Monster Hunter Universe

Faction: None yet

Place of Residence: None yet

Appearance: 6'5", medium build, tanned and weathered skin, solid black eyes, long silver hair, red tattoo lines one inch wide starting from under each eye and continuing down his arms and hands then splitting and ending at each finger tip.

*The one on the left*
Axe Mode
SinisterSaint.png
SinisterSaints-SS.jpg
Sword Mode
SinisterSaints-SS2.jpg
Collapsed/Sheathed
SinisterSaints-SS3.jpg

Personality: Noise is the kind of guy who goes in swingin' for the fences. And while he's reckless, he's smart enough to know when and how to dodge. But otherwise, when he goes, he goes big, always seeking to be the hero. He naturally gets along well with everyone.

Drivers: To become the most famous Hunter in the world; to find and hunt the most powerful monsters, espeically the Elder Dragons; to slay a Kushala Daora

Equipment: Rathalos+ Armor, Sinister Saints Switch Axe, First Aid Kit x2, Rations x2, Repair and Maintenance kit, Canvas (can be used as tent or hammock), Spare Elemental Phials x5, Phial Creation Kit, ML001: Baltzenger Gunlance Schematics

Strengths: Skilled at fighting human-sized to enormous monsters (Wyverns, dragons, and leviathans mostly), skilled at surviving in the wilds. Wyverian blood gives him slightly increased strength (enough to wield his weapon)

Weaknesses: No ranged attacks, Thunder/Lightning/Electricity, Dragon Element attacks, must put his full effort into every swing, so can be slow and cumbersome in combat.

Primary Power: Rathalos+ Armor Training (Confluence)
-Training with the Rathalos+ Armor and the armor itself has granted Noise several skills useful when hunting wyverns
--The first is a resistance to heat, fire, and high temperatures. The wyvern who's hide the armor is made from is a fire breather who lives mostly in volcanic regions, thus providing a natural resistance to these common elements of volcanoes.
--The second is a knack for finding the weaker areas in a creature's natural armor, reducing the damage done to his weapons blade and a slight increase in damage done.
--The third is the knowledge of how to judge an opponent in order to find the best way to use his weapon to maximum effect, be it to knock his opponent off balance to expose a soft underbelly, or to smash a series of bony spines along the back to reduce the creatures ability to generate electricity.

Secondary Power: Sinister Saints Switch Axe Training (Confluence)
-Training with the Sinister Saints Switch Axe has allowed him a level of mastery with the weapon.
--Numerous swings and attack with Switch Axe in Axe Mode
--Ability to switch to Sword Mode, releasing a small amount of the contents of the Phial, releasing the weapons latent elemental properties (Fire in this case).
--Numerous swings and attacks with Switch Axe in Sword Mode, as well as ability to block with the side of the blade.

Tertiary Power: Elemental Discharge (Confluence)
-The ultimate attack for any Switch Axe, this requires the SA to first be in Sword Mode. Then, Noise can flick a latch to partially switch his SA back to Axe Mode, shattering the Phial in the process. The surge of alchemical contents then cause a massive chain reaction, and after about 5 seconds causes a small but very powerful fire-based explosion around the blade (about a foot radius from the blade). Most commonly used after the blade has been stuck in the target. SA automatically reverts back to Axe Mode after the explosion due to the force of the blast, and a new Phial must be reloaded into the blade in order to use the Sword Mode again.

Background: Noise is a veteran hunter from the desert city of Loc Lac. He has gained a level of fame and renown from his feats as a hunter. He's even fought off an Elder Dragon known as the Jhen Mohran when it threatened the sandy city. The Sinister Saints Switch Axe is a family heirloom handed down to him by his father, who had recieved it from his father, one of the men who helped develope the Switch Axe. One day, when he was on his way to the coast to meet up with a Wyverian Artisan, who claimed to know something about a set of schematics Noise had found, a sandstorm sprang up out of nowhere, picking up both him and his sandskiff. Noise was knocked unconcious when the sandstorm finally ended, dropping him in what he assumed to be some undiscovered corner of his world, not knowing that the sandstorm had actually been a rift leading to the world of Iwaku.

Commendations: (Leave this blank. ONLY Mods can write in this spot, and they will use it to add any rewards or new powers that you have earned. If you have roleplayed well or have a history in the Mythos, then your commendations will reflect this.)

Re: Character Sheet Applications

Name:
Ulrich Tenbrae

Race:
Faun

Faction:
None

Place of Residence:
A little bookstore in Iwaku City, but he is quickly abandoning that place to travel

Appearance:
The first thing that could me be thought of when it comes to Ulrich's appearance is awkward. He looks extremely out of place with a light-green vest as his only article of clothing. Since he should be in some kind of forested area, he looks awkward skipping around the streets of Iwaku. He's your typical fawn, appearance wise anyways. He has a small face, made somewhat larger with thick red hair that curls downwards around his face like a mane. His body is light and his goat legs more resemble like those of a slender gazelle in structure. His general body structure are like his legs- they are thin and sinewy, made for speed rather than power. He has downward-pointing ears like a small deer's and he has spiraling antelope horns, but they are thick and strong like ram horns and are a dark brown in color. His fur is the same crimson as his hair and his eyes are the same green of his shirt.

Personality:
Ulrich is an introverted, socially awkward character who simply doesn't fit in with the world. Sure, he tries to fit in but ultimately he stumbles, falls, and looks like a fool. He has a habit of stamping his foot to either get attention, when excited, or merely as a sign of anger. He enjoys running fast, although because he is in the city he has very little chance to do whatever he likes. Because he doesn't fit in no matter how he tries and his inner desires to a higher freedom, he could be described as repressed and somewhat frustrated at the world.

Drivers:
More than anything else, he seeks a path of freedom where he'll be limited by nothing and no one.

Equipment:
A small knife for survival.

Strengths:
Ulrich is very fast on his feet and his desires can make him from a cowardly rabbit to a fierce and angry hawk.

Weaknesses:
Ulrich is terrified of things he doesn't know about. Not being a native of Iwaku, he doesn't want to cause trouble.
He also has little power of his own, albeit what power he does have is rapidly growing, possibly due to his appearance in Iwaku.

Primary Power:
Imagination and Dreams- Reality Bending
Ulrich can push his imagination and dreams that he has onto certain objects to make things surreal. For now it only affects smaller objects or objects he can directly touch, and it only changes one thing about them such as texture or taste or smell or general color.

Secondary Power:
None at the moment

Tertiary Power:
None at the moment

Background:
Ulrich was a happy faun in another land with an unpronounceable name, another reality where he guarded his little forest patch but since it was very remote he never got people. He was a happy and free spirit, spending his days playing his flute and skipping around his little patch of paradise. However, there was once one stranger who arrived at his domain, and this stranger began to break branches and generally upset his paradise. He arrived to protect his home and his enemy was apparently a wizard who wanted to use the land for something. He plainly refused and the powerful magic user cast him away to 'another world', a world which should have been like purgatory.

Except Iwaku was no purgatory. Stripped of his powers and trapped in a foreign land with no way to get out, he tried to fit in with the populace to no avail. He tried to research the mythos of the place only to find things that were simply unbelievable. A remade world? Great wars? Everyone was so peaceful! It made him long for the freedom, a freedom he had lost except in his dreams, yet in this mundane world even his dreams had been running from him... until he once dreamed up an orange that tasted of apple. It felt so real to him that when he awoke he was disappointed, and so went to eat his breakfast of orange juice and some toast. Except his orange juice tasted exactly like apples. Shocked and surprised at this newfound ability, Ulrich decided to try it on other things. He could make trees smell of honey and a fuzzy rabbit feel like fresh grass. This ability broaded his horizons and loosened his inner need for fredom. With a newfound confidence, he left his store in the hands of a friend and went off to explore the strange new land of Iwaku.

Re: Character Sheet Applications

Name:
Quatre Bornes "Q" Lee
His first name is "Quatre Bornes". It is a joint first name. You could call him "Quatre" or "Bornes" but Bornes is NOT a middle name. His last name is "Lee" and he often goes by the simple alias "Q".

Race:
Presumed Human.
See Background "What Q DOESN'T know" for explanation.

Age:
25

Faction:
N/A

Place of Residence:

Vagrant, but he enters via Iwaku City Transylvania

Appearance:

Go here for a huge photobucket of all Q stuff.
For this RP specifically, he's going to start out with this outfit and transition to another(red and black in the photo albums) at some point in the future.
baypost.png
bayanghitamHead.png

At 25 years old, Q has a full head of grey hair. It's parted to the side and covers one of his forest green eyes in attempt to cover a large slash-like scar going from beneath his left eye, over his nose, and down his right cheek. His tanned skin is a mix between south african and korean, and is further marred by two black whisker-like tattoos on either side of his chin, going down toward his neck.

Standing at six feet tall, he's rather slim, but nonetheless built well enough to carry around about eighty pounds with him as walks long distances.
On his back is a faded gold ankh tattoo that was placed specifically to try and hide many small surgical scars along his spine.

Often hidden inside of the leg of his pants is a long dog tail, resembling that of a Saluki. The tail, unlike the hair atop his head, is a dark brown, almost black. It reaches about to the inside of his knee when hanging downward and is extremely sensitive to touch.

Q often wears button-up long sleeve dress shirts and black slacks or jeans with boots of the same color. He almost always wears sunglasses, even inside buildings. He carries with him a large seabag and a hard violin case when traveling from city to city. Normally however, these things are left in a hotel room of some kind.

Personality:

Quatre Bornes is a confounding mix of sanity and insensibility. On the one hand, he can be cool and calculating. On the other, he can be explosive and over-reactive. He is somewhat emotionally unstable, often acting on instinct and influence rather than expertise when it comes to interpersonal communication.

Q can bury his emotions deep within himself and carry out jobs and business with unscrupulous lowlives with ease. Killing from a distance is his game, and it his ability to turn himself off that allows him to do his job with no remorse. However, when it comes to his off time, he has no friends and prefers to drive people away. A vagrant at heart, he wishes for partnership but also does not allow himself to get too connected to people as he knows he will have to leave them.

When Bornes talks of his father, he never uses possessive pronouns. Bornes's father is not "my father" it is simply "Father" with a capital F. Father insisted Q was normal and did all he could to make Q so; Father almost disowned Q for admitting he liked boys. Q now subconsciously tries to bang every woman to win back Father's love. Bornes needs to prove that he is not Father's failure.

As such, he seeks out prostitutes to get the false sense of being wanted. He'll often get drunk for an inflated ego boost. He views himself as human with a terrible genetic defect (his tail). While normally he'll hide this defect, when he is drunk he believes himself to be "greater" than a normal human, and that what women want is really an animal-- lucky for him, he is part one.
He goes to exotic fetishist clubs almost exclusively as he knows the people there will "accept" his flaws and view them as triumphs. He feels that no "normal" person could ever accept him fully, and even if they did, he'd never be able to have sex with them as he acts very bestial in bed, animal sounds and all. In a normal situation with a "normal" person, he is very self-conscious of this.

Drivers:

Find a purpose for his life, a possible "cure" for his "disease" and maybe even acceptance and a place to settle down.

Equipment:

Inside the seabag he carries everything he needs- clothes, toiletries, basic cooking wares and some canned goods. If he were stranded on a deserted island, he'd be able to survive for at least seven days (provided he found a water source, as there's no water in his seabag).

Also inside the bag at the very bottom is 20,000USD in cash. If shit ever hits the fan, he'll have something to fall back on. But this is essentially his "life savings". He doesn't trust banks.

Other than the seabag and what's inside, he carries a hard violin case which harbors an M40 sniper rifle with extra ammunition for it and his handguns. Although normally on his person, his two glocks (handguns) are in shoulder holsters, may also be in the violin case should he need to show unarmed for something.

He also wears a SOG Seal Knife at his hip in its sheath.

Lastly are his specially prescribed sunglasses, which never leave his person. Without them, he wouldn't be able to see in the daylight.

Strengths:

Marksmanship (SP), patience, walking long distances, language (can speak fluent english and french), long-distance weight lifting. Low-light sight (PP), enhanced hearing (TP).

Weaknesses:

Pulling his tail grants terrible pain. Along the underside are somethin akin to whiskers. If brushed the right way will cause sexual gratification, the wrong way more pain or even imbalance in some cases (think of cat's face whiskers). Cutting it or injuring it in some way yields more blood than normal. Due to Q's other problems, damage to his tail can result in death fairly easily.
Q's heart is larger than a normal human's, as are his veins. He self-medicates by smoking to tighten his blood vessels. If he's injured or his blood pressure lowers too much, he's prone to fainting and at risk of stroke. His body take a lot longer to produce new red blood cells, making normal wounds rather lethal to him. A very real fear for Q is to pass out and have a stroke while he's unconscious.
While he is unconscious, his body will eventually equalize, depending on circumstance, but normally within 10 - 20 minutes.
Q can see in near perfect darkness, but with this comes the inability to see clearly during the day. His vision resembles that of a moving, heavily over-exposed photograph. He wears specially prescribed sunglasses to be able to see in the day without inducing a terrible headache or burning of his eyes, however on overtly sunny days he is completely blinded.
His hearing range falls under about the same range as a dog's. However because he mostly deals with cities, he's constantly bombarded by the annoying buzzing of fluorescent lights, dog whistles, and other atmospheric sounds humans don't normally notice. Being around too many people or in a place with such 'buzzing' for too long makes him irritable or brings on a headache. He's especially wary of silent alarms- to him, they are the most annoying.

If he's in a town where many of these things are, or he is unable to get away from them, he'll try to drown them out through alcohol.

Primary Power (PP) :

Low-light sight. Confluence. See weaknesses "Eyes sensitive to sunlight".
His eyes react to light similar to a cat's.

Secondary Power (SP) :

Marksmanship. Confluence. He's basically a mercenary and has trained in his trade to the point of accurate/enhanced aiming even while inebriated.

Tertiary Power (TP) :

Enhanced hearing. Confluence. See Weaknesses "Enhanced Hearing".
His hearing range is similar to a dog's.

Background:

Q is one of four "children" in a project known as "deadwoods". Long story short, French military discovered humanoid cryptids in Mauritius (A french-owned african island) and proved that "werewolves" (lycanthropes) actually existed. United States Secret Services bought into the project, dispensed agents and attempted to make human-lycan hybrid super soldiers. The plan failed, the CIA shut the it down (as it was instated without their prior knowledge) after the first three children died. Q was the last and most "tame" of the children. His bio-father (A French/US spy) kidnapped Q and raised him, forcing him through several surgeries to look "more human" and insisted Q was normal. (Q was originally a lot hairier and "werewolf" looking). Under the barrage of post-surgery medications and mood stabilizers, Q was able to actually be normal. When he ran away at 18 and went cold turkey off all the drugs, his conditions worsened, his hair began to grey, and his animalistic instincts/mannerisms/vocals began to become much harder to control.
On the meds, he was expected to live to be 25 - 28. Off the meds no one knows for sure, and after Q ran off he was presumed dead.

Quatre Bornes grew up in France. He was raised in military boarding schools and specialized in Strategy. His father, one of the commanding officers, was pushing Q to become a strategist and follow in his foot steps. Q excelled in linguistics and held a dream of becoming a Sniper. His father would not allow it.
Q befriended a man named Vespasien, who would secretly teach Q about firearms and promised to make Q the sniper he wanted to be if Q would run away with him to the United States. Ves's dream was to become a mafia lord. Ves and Q fell in love, and when Q made the mistake of telling his father such in a final argument over Sniper School, Q's father took a rapier to the boy's face, intentionally scarring it.
"If you like boys, you don't deserve the face I made you!"
About a month later, at 18, Q found himself with Vespasien on a ship to the US. Weeks later they wound up in New York and began to fulfill their dreams. Q became Ves's right-hand and partner in crime as they took over a small city. He played translator as Ves hated speaking english, and they made quick work of their goals. In return, Ves taught Q what he knew of sniping. It wasn't much, but Q took to it immediately and seemed to have an innate talent.

As time passed, a new player came into the game- Alexandre- who convinced Ves that being openly gay hurt their image. Ves took to women and Q was pushed aside romantically. Years rolled by and finally Q realized he was only being used and left his "family" of the newly formed French Mafia.

Since that time, he became a hired gun, only taking on low-budget kills (under $100K a head). Because of his unique requirements, he's often laughed out of "real" merc circles and left to work with drug addicts and rich men who don't know better. As wiith the illegality of his job, he's forced to travel from city to city, state to state. He normally does so on foot but occasionally if needed will take a cab.
In his personal life, Q tries to find a connection to women. He doesn't really like them, but if Ves took to them and his father scarred him for liking men, then women must be what he's supposed to like, so he may as well set out trying to prove to himself that there is something to like to them. As he ages, he not only becomes more homophobic and defending of his perceived masculinity, but his "beast" condition worsens. His sight becomes worse in the day and better at night, his hearing gets "better" (thus giving him more headaches) and his grunts turn into growls...

To be honest, I haven't really thought this through, but I'm going to go with the whole "one day he just woke up in Iwaku" approach. Random portal or rip in time and space or something. Yeah... I'll go with that.

Re: Character Sheet Applications

Name: Kamikaze (goes by Kaze)

Race: Human

Faction: Temple of History

Place of Residence: Temple of History

Appearance:
Kilik.png

Personality: Very determined, Kaze will go to almost any length to achieve his goals. However, while some perceive him as reckless, he pays close attention to history, learning from it and using what knowledge he has gained in helping him to success. He highly values knowledge, especially of a historical nature, and treasures it highly.

Drivers: Having been a scribe at the Temple of History, he obviously has a love of history. However, when the place was taken over by Spiders and his leader, Chaos was killed, Kaze was forced to leave the place and all its knowledge. Fueled by revenge, he has gone to seek out the guidance and assistance of Asmodeus, someone who he thinks can help him.

Equipment:
A hovercraft that is powered by Kaze itself, it's a 4 seater with modest baggage space. Think of any normal sized 4 door sedan, turn it into a hovercraft with a retractable dome top, and you're good.

He also owns a bowstaff that he uses in his combat. Made from enchanted bamboo, it's resilience is fearsome and augments his wind magic.

Strengths: His determination, understanding the power of historical knowledge, and his willingness to do whatever it takes to find means to an end. He also has great memory do to having to remember much information while at the Temple of History.

Weaknesses: Just as it is a strength, his tendency to over sacrifice for a cause is also a side effect of his relentless behavior. He also dislikes water and cannot swim.

Primary Power: Wind Magic [Dreamweaving]
The main weapon used by Kaze, he is quite skilled in not only creating large winds that can either cut or simply push people back, but also in augmenting physical abilities, such as increasing ones movements, whether it's his own or an allies, or even flying, though he can only make himself fly across the sky.

Secondary Power: Item History [Dreamweaving]
The main reason he was employed to be a scribe within the Temple of History was his ability to look into the past of any item he touched, finding out the history of the item as well as its uses. This ability has helped tremendously in understanding ancient civilization artifacts.

Tertiary Power: Status Return [Reality Bending]
By focusing upon an item, he is able to 'Turn back the clock' on any non-living item, returning it to it's former state, such as un-rusting a sword, or making a faded document legible. He can even mend broken items, but only if all pieces of the item are present.

Background: Based off of his unique powers in terms of historical significance, Kaze was quickly recruited to become a scribe in the Temple of History. He has lived there most of his life, and is very intimate with the history of many things, having a great memory of what he learned during his time there.

When the Temple of History came under attack, he was instructed by Chaos to flee the Temple rather than try to stay and defend it. Kaze nearly disobeyed until he saw Chaos slain with his own eyes. Realizing that living to fight another day was beneficial, he fled and is now seeking Asmodeus, one who Kaze believes can help him become strong enough to protect knowledge and history no matter the threat.

Commendations: None as of yet

Re: Character Sheet Applications

Name: Murr / Trance Kitsune

Race: Kitsune/Unknown entity

Faction: Murr Zombies

Place of Residence: N/A Just seems to pop up in random places

Appearance:

Normally:
attachment.php

Secondary apperance:
attachment.php

Trance Kitsune:
attachment.php

Personality: Most of the time, it's easy to tell, although not verbally. Usually seems very happy, smiling, making odd noises, wuffling and burbling to herself when in her normal form. She seems almost childish. But in some cases, she DOES speak, and in those times, it will be very serious, and her demeanor will seem almost indifferent, detached. But usually, all and all, she's a very physical, touchy-feely person.

Drivers: It seems oddly devoid of any reason. She seems to just be popping in and out of existence for merely kicks.

Equipment: Pencils and paper, iPod Touch, A small pack filled with countless snacks that never seem to run out for some reason, A draw-string bag filled with small shiny gems.

Strengths: Always managing to wear a smile, even in the worst situations. She's also agile and never seems to run out of energy. Due to her odd powers, she also has the ability to take energy from her enemies. Also, due to her primary power, if she has enough time, and if there is enough paper, she can always defend herself

Weaknesses: Water. Water will cause her gems to unravel. She'll have to redraw all of her gems, which will slow her down considerably. She almost always has music playing, so it can be easy to hear her coming, or to sneak up on her. Needs to take in energy from others. She also is ALWAYS hungry, and in the even that she can't gt to her snacks would leave her more or less powerless. She eats so much so that she doesn't have to take energy from others. It's also probably why she's not in "TK" form all the time. Also, she IS a "Music Junkie" so it's easy to persuade her to do something by dangling a new song in front of her. Also, her range of powers are limited by circumstances.

Primary Power:
Day Dream Doodles (Reality bending/Deamweaving): A type of summoning, she can use by simply drawing on a sheet of paper. The second she feels that it is done, the paper will fold up and turn into a small gem. These gems are then thrown to the ground, and upon collision will release what was drawn. If defeated or destroyed it will retreat back into its gem form. Sometimes she creates a move for herself using this technique. If she wants to make herself able to teleport, she has to draw herself using what she believes would illustrate teleporting. This power can be amplified by the secondary and third power. Creatures can only be summoned one at a time, and powers are limited. She can't use them on anyone else but herself, and she can't use her gems to get more power. If she was able to, she wouldn't be in her current position. Also, she has to use as much detail as she can when drawing to express what she wants.

*Example: If she draws herself in one spot, then as though she had just disappeared, the gem won't work because she hadn't drawn out herself appearing somewhere else.

She can not summon something of huge amounts of energy. She cannot summon a god-like entity, or create large explosions she can not effect the habitat she's in or the people around her, she can only summon creatures from her gems, or affect herself. She can create weapons for herself, but they are usually very breakable and very flawed because she doesn't have proper knowledge on weaponry. She can not summon attacks similar to DBZ' KAMEHAMEHA! (Happy now, Myrn? I put that in, just for you.)

Also, she can't summon one gem through another. And she can't summon a peice of paper or a pencil.

Secondary Power: Sudden Theme Music (Reality bending/Dreamweaving): The headphones she usually wears in her normal form will drop down around her neck and seem to enlarge slightly, and act like a speaker system, music will start blaring, the type of music depends on her mood. This will strengthen her odd primary power by helping her focus. Usually it speeds up her doodles and she'll be done in half the time. Most times it will be trance or techno, or nearby those realms but it's not odd to hear other genres. But if she is feeling a very strong emotion, the music will immediately turn up louder.

This helps her focus, but severely affects her awareness. Also, if the headphones are damaged in any way, they will blast out massively loud feedback for about ten seconds. This will completely disorient her (And possibly anyone within three yards) and leave her deaf and panicked for up to ten minutes. Also, if they are damaged, she has to use her own energy to repair it before using them again, or the feedback will happen again. The process of repairing it takes a couple hours and a strong amount of focus. And after she's done, she usually will have used up most of her energy and will have to rest for maybe three or four hours.

Tertiary Power: Trance Kitsune (Soulart): This appears to be her true form, but no one's sure of why she isn't in it all the time. It's been guessed that her lack of stealing energy is to blame. When in this form, she can be her most serious or most mysterious. She can also speak in this form as well as fly short distances, Gems don't need to be thrown to the ground in this form, all she has to do is crush it in her hand. Also, in this form, she is more liable to act like her race and try and gain energy from someone else. This is not the third power for being weaker, she's usually her strongest in this form, actually. But it's the last due to the fact that she rarely seems to be able to get enough strength to accomplish transforming and sustaining this form. The longest amount of time she's been able to sustain the form as of recent is only around thirty minutes. And that's under good conditions. If she's in that forum, using the gems, and the headphones, tops are only around ten minutes.
*Her other transformation: The fox form, would be under here too as a subsection. She uses that form for speed and it's size (For getting into small areas) she could also use it for evasive abilities in a battle. Beyond that, the fox form doesn't have much to offer, but she IS able to accomplish the feared and infamous PUPPY EYES when she wants something. It has a 100% chance of working if it's food. Especially when she fluffs up all her fur.

Background: At the beginning, it is assumed that she was created and not born. The fox/kitsune and human forms are tangible and her last form is spirit-like. The motif of music and art. All of it seems thrown together with no thought to the outcome.

Her first memory was turning her head to the side, sharply, popping her neck and looking out of the window of a house, someone asking her if she was alright. She was young, but she can't remember the age. Normally, she doesn't speak, but she could draw out what she wanted to say. It was like something stepped inside of her. Beyond that….

Memories are blurred.

A change of scenery.

Popping in and out of time and place as Trance Kitsune. Knowing that when she stopped even for a moment, it would all stop, she would lack the power she had currently. The odd ease with her powers. And yet… she saw things.
Watching.

Seeing.

A crimson cape and a glaring red eye. A pair of wings, an odd angel.

Military formations….. Many weapons… A trickster…. Countless others…

She saw the rise and fall of many governments, but lacked the care to get involved. It was not worth it. She felt as though it wasn't her place to get involved.

And then, something seemed to snap and she fell, tumbling out of the air, hoodie falling back to reveal heavy speakers and light hair, a distressed "Murr!" and then tried to figure out where she was.

Supposedly the store of power that she had was disconnected or had drained too much. But still, she laid low. It still wasn't her battle to fight.

But that changed.

She recreated her ability to teleport and used it, but in the first stages of working with gems instead of being able to just do it by thought as before as Trance Kitsune was much harder. She ended up in the thick of where she didn't want to be. She teleported right in front of someone named "Rory". She ended up getting to know him slightly, having a small talk (He talked. She burbled out responses like "Murr?" or "Fwee.") before trying to transport herself away. It took her five times, but she managed to control it.

Now she's in much better control of her powers in their current degraded forms. She has watched as these new creatures appeared and then finally decided to get involved, at least to help the trickster and to find out more information about this odd world.

Now she's trying to find him again. Or at least figure out where she needs to go.

Commendations: (Leave this blank. ONLY Mods can write in this spot, and they will use it to add any rewards or new powers that you have earned. If you have roleplayed well or have a history in the Mythos, then your commendations will reflect this.)

Re: Character Sheet Applications

CHARACTER SHEET

Name: Panda-Moto, or "Bill"
(Probably will be interplayed by Jinx and myself.)

Age: N/A

Race: Was once a human but is now a humanoid Panda Thing.

Faction: Burman's Discount Sleuthin'

Place of Residence: Near Shapeshifter Town.

Appearance:
ualdrunkresizeim6.png

Personality: Panda-moto is best labeled chaotic stupid. Panda-moto is also likely to kick the dog. But he's just as likely to pet the dog, shave the dog, paint the dog purple, or even ignore the dog entirely to run off chasing women. While a little comic relief can be refreshing once in a while, Panda-moto takes it to a level which threatens to turn the entire game into a farce. Suffice to say Panda-moto should never be let within ten feet of any sort of magic. Since he can no longer speak human, he can make grunting noises and exaggerated facial expressions to communicate.

Drivers: Find more booze and kick anyone whom would get in his way's asses.

Equipment: A long wood sword that he uses for hand to hand combat.

Strengths: Has all the strength and agility of a panda, which makes him a considerably powerful beast to contend with. Panda-moto tends to take the fights seriously against male opponents, as he considers any less as an insult to his rival's pride as a fighter, but also that he always takes advantage of an opponent's weak spots and recurrently uses trickery, severe distractions or sucker-punch combinations if he cannot win through other means, or if it is most expedient for handling situation as quickly as possible. He generally seems to trust in his own power, but under extreme circumstances he is willing to use multiple crutches if he thinks the opponent does as well.

Weaknesses:  One word, women. Although, not really a womanizer he wants to help every girl that he deems needs protection. In doing so, he becomes eccentric and will do "manly" poses to make himself seem larger than life. If a woman told him to jump off a bridge he would. He has also stated that he does not want to hit women, being markedly uncomfortable in a few confrontations.

Primary Power: Anything Goes Strike!-Reality Bending: A white light will emit from Panda-Moto's Eyes. Then five random objects will appear behind him that he'll use for weapons. There is generally no rhyme or reason to the objects summoned. Sometimes they'll be useful, other times they won't be.

Secondary Power: Strike Force Punch!: Soul Arts. A white light, representing his chi, will form around his fist and grow larger as time progresses. Several seconds of focusing his energies proved sufficient to split a 3m-3.5m diameter boulder with a single strike, while distracted he has managed to immediately shatter a 2m-2.5m version.

Tertiary Power: Precision: SOULARTS. Panda-moto has displayed extreme, superhuman levels of accuracy, enabling him to, for example, slice perfect circles in cement walls with a sweep of his hand or toss a pencil into a yen coin from several meters away while clinging to the ceiling. He has also attempted to knock out a completely distracted foe by hitting a sleep spot in the neck, but it apparently only works if the opponent is unaware, and immobile or taken by surprise.

Background: "I drop my trousers and wizz on the Chairman!"-Panda-Moto.

In his life before the curse, Panda-moto was a young man that traveled around Asia as a kung-fu fighter. He was able to get into a prestigious event in China during the 1960s and met Chairman Mao. The problem was that Panda-moto hated communism. In an anime-like fashion, he pulled down his pants and peed on Mao. In response, Mao was quoted to have said, "Mao is bery dispreased with you panda! YOU REAVE NOW!" And ever since he was called a panda, he now wanders around the Earth as one since he insult a man well trained in Chinese witchcraft. He ended up coming to Iwaku via a portal in the realm of Insanity and has been roaming around the Iwaku countryside not really sure where he is now.

Re: Character Sheet Applications

Name: Largo Burman

Race: Hybrid of human and bunny

Faction: Self-employed with Burman's Discount Sleuthin', a detective agency previously operating in Shapeshifter Town

Place of Residence: Currently homeless

Appearance: Large is five feet tall, and has a lot of features resembling that of a bunny. A puffy tail, a bunny-like head with large ears, large hind legs, and his body is covered in fluffy white fur. Where he differs is in his hands which, while they have pads, are shaped more like human hands, with fingers and thumbs. He generally walks around in a dress shirt with rolled-up sleeves and a pair of brown trousers, though he'll occasionally wear a heavy dark blue trenchcoat to hide some of his more conspicuous weapons. Due to his rabbit feet, he goes without shoes.

Personality: Largo is generally a compassionate guy, concerned for the weak, and unable to resist helping someone in distress. He does, however, get frustrated easily with other people's annoying habits, and is quite fond of (oftentimes jokingly) threatening violence on those who annoy him. He's more of a talker than a fighter however, and in a lot of cases, will choose to run rather than fight. He's very single-minded, and oftentimes the only way to make him give up on something once he gets started is to either pound him senseless or to pay him off, as he isn't too remiss about passing something by for a bit of money.

Drivers: Largo's main motivation is to keep his business and himself alive, but he's also concerned about the war, and is trying to find a way that he can contribute to the effort.

Equipment: While generally hesitant to fight, Largo nonetheless carries a small-caliber handgun in a side holster and, when he's wearing his trenchcoat, carries an uzi in a hidden pocket. For up close, he wields a large folding knife, concealed in a side pocket. Just in case, he also carries a lockpick set with him at all times, hidden in his fur.

Strengths: As part of his metamorphosis, Largo has the ability to communicate with both humans and animals. His bunny nature improves his hearing and smell, along with his running speed and his jumping ability. He is a skilled investigator, and knows how to bypass locked doors using lockpicks. Finally, his fur keeps him warmer in cold environments.

Weaknesses: Largo doesn't have a lot of mass in his bunny form, making his punches weak. He doesn't wear body armor or have any magical talent, making him susceptible to all forms of damage. His fur is prone to making him overheated. Finally, he's very vulnerable to bribery, and has a tough time resisting the lure of money.

Primary Power: Adrenaline Rush: SoulArts
In times of great stress, Largo's body kicks into overdrive, allowing him to run large distances and leap so well that he can actually jump from wall to wall. At his upper limits, running on all fours, he can even keep pace with a car going 30 miles per hour.

Secondary Power: Frenzied Gunman: Confluence
Due to Largo's reflexes and practice, he can fire accurately while running at a fair pace, allowing him to both dodge and keep the pressure on an enemy at the same time. This is very important for him, because of his lack of body protection and the demanding nature of his work.

Tertiary Power: Rabbit Kick: Confluence
While his upper body strength is significantly weaker, Largo's lower body has become stronger to compensate, and this manifests itself in the Rabbit kick, a full power blast with both legs, accelerated by the momentum of his running. This kick is powerful enough to knock someone off their feet and straight across a room, although due to not wearing any foot protection, Largo runs the risk of severely hurting himself if he tries to kick someone wearing armor or braced for impact.

Background: Before he came to Iwaku, Largo was a police officer on a planet called Earth. When he was just a young rookie, he decided to visit New Orleans during Mardi Gras, and ran into a man claiming to be a great sorcerer. Naturally, he doubted this, and this infuriated the conjurer, who subsequently proved his mighty powers by transmuting Largo into a hybrid of a man and a bunny, because this was the only creature he had on hand at the time, and then he transported Largo across the dimensional plane to Iwaku. Confused, and in desperate need of funds, Largo used his police training to set up a detective agency, and things seemed to go well, until the city in general was flattened by the Elders. Now, he is a refugee, trying to aid the war effort in whatever way he can.
