Julius watched quietly as the room quickly filled with the rest of the treasure hunters. First was Bell, a Sedamon lad that boarded just a few years before. Courteous and knowledgeable, the young man never got into trouble with Julius - something he couldn't say for some other crewmates. Then came Serimin, one of the new bloods. Tall and powerful, she easily fits the description as a warrior of her race. Though she hadn't seen much action with him yet, Julius was sure they'd be a great team member. He hoped she'd give Bref a run for his money; a little competition would keep the Silvian man far away from his duties.
Up next came Rabbit, the strange Arenosian who always had an air of mystery about him. Julius had a great deal of respect for him, though his odd masks, archaic way of speaking, and the peculiar terms of his requests never failed to give him the heebie-jeebies. Regardless, Julius recognized the man's almost infinite supply of wisdom and its worth to the crew. The following person was one of Julius's favorites. Remy, also referred to as 'Duck' by the diligent spirit himself, was a lively fellow that always seemed to be a thorn in Julius's side. Whether it be the endless trails of feathers that he'd have to clean up or the sudden, incessant honking in his non-existent ears, he was one step away from making Remy into his new feather duster - with the permission of the captain, of course.
Lastly were the two familiar crewmates, Alfred and Sekani. Alfred was a dependable man that knew more than a thing or two about technology. Constantly devising something in that room of his, Julius always gave the man his space, though he was not exempt from exchanging friendly greetings when the two crossed paths. Then there was Sekani, another Arenosian with a love of thievery. Constantly nabbing things from him, Julius always made sure to check his pockets every time he came across them. Though he'd never be suspicious of any of his crewmates, Sekani was the main reason Julius had four locks on his cabin's door - but even that wouldn't stop them.
A few more treasure-hunters had yet to arrive, but since the majority were already here, Julius started to pitch in, first addressing the concern about taking the Saltu contract. "Oh, I don't think the Saltus would get all steamed up if we do some looting." He explained, taking another step closer to the table, "As long as we treat em' nice and don't wreck up the joint..." He said as he turned to look at Bref before directing his attention to everyone else in the room, "We should be fine. The Saltus are good folks, after all." He pointed a skinny finger over at Remy, "And if that doesn't work, we can always negotiate over a nice dinner. Right, Duck?" He added, a low hollow chuckle sounding throughout his chassis.
With a sound akin to clearing his throat, Julius continued, "We should still consider the other options, though. As Alfred said, the bounty with the Silvians could bring in some good loot, but it won't be easy, that's for sure." He turned his gaze over to the Rabbit, taking a glance at the maps rolled onto the table, " And don't forget about Old Man Rabbit's maps. Could be a nice coffer at the end of one of em', who knows?"
He then turned over to Keone, deciding to address her comment on the Sky Pirates, " Oh, and Keone, I wouldn't worry about those bilge-suckers anymore. The fools are probably long dead by now; I don't think they're the ones causing all that ruckus." He responded, taking another glance at that contract. While Julius appreciated her concern, it did make him think: Were they still out there? Ever since that night, he had been convincing himself that they were long gone, but he never got any closure. Though he hasn't heard of their names for years now, it wouldn't have been hard for them to re-brand themselves under a new moniker. Julius stared blankly at the bounty; it was becoming more enticing by the second.
