SEPTEMBER 1ST, 10:45 AM - PLATFORM 9 3/4, WAITING FOR HOGWARTS EXPRESS.

It was that time of year again, September first, the day all the young witches and wizards would return to Hogwarts to begin another year of enriched education. The air was crisp, a beautiful fall morning, but it's not like the weather outside would effect the children - it was exactly 10:45 AM, and in exactly fifteen minutes, the Hogwarts express would pull away with train cars full of excited and nervous first years, full of old friends greeting one another after a particularly warm summer, full of nostalgia for those who have become familiar with the routine of September first.

The platform was full of children and their parents alike, first years clung to their mothers like their life depended on it, second years excitedly stood next to one another, third and fourth years acted way too cool to be seen with their parents (they were fourteen, who needed parents!), while fifth and sixth years chatted among one another. The seventh years looked across the platform with a certain sense of seniority and nostalgia, who could blame them? Life was hectic for wizarding families today, but the good kind of hectic, the hectic of falling into a new routine. Platform 9 3/4 was alive with anticipation.

Among the chaos was too particularly blonde heads, standing side by side, a father and daughter. Anxiety rested in Historia's stomach, as it did every year. For a fifth year, she shouldn't be experiencing such a nauseating feeling, but she couldn't help it. It was in her nature to worry - worry about grades, worry about social situations, worry about the events to come. One hand clutched her cart while the other nervously splayed her fingers over the soft fabric of her dress, and it was with a flicker of amusement that she realized both she and her father dressed in all black, it must've been a Malfoy tradition. Particularly intimidating, but if you knew Historia personally, you'd know she couldn't manage to look intimidating in a full clad suit of armor. She ran her hand over her dress once more, as if smoothing it out, despite it being entirely wrinkle free.

Silver blue eyes scanned the platform, hovering close to her father, as if she was looking for someone in particular - when in reality she was looking for some friendly faces. Particularly her partner in 'crime' (he committed the crimes while she tried to clean it up afterwards), Alex Weasley (a Malfoy and a Weasley, best friends? Ha!), but the bustle of the busy train station was far too chaotic for her to seek her fellow Slytherin friend, and she could only frown disdainfully. If he was around, he'd find her - her hair was practically white, after all - and he was much taller than she. Even in heels, Historia could barely look over the crowds of fifth and sixth years.

Without her friend by her side, anxiety grew clear on her pretty features, and her father seemed to notice. "Nervous, Historia?" Came the voice next to her, and she ran a hand through her hair, toying with the ends of it as she smiled sheepishly.

"I'm ashamed to say a little, yes," She responded, glancing up at her father, "I don't know why, maybe it's just my breakfast. Do omelettes usually cause anxiety? I'm sure they do for me. I usually don't get butterflies when I eat, for example, waffles. I should've had waffles for breakfast. Oh dear, what if I get sick on the train? What if they throw me out before we get to Hogwarts because Historia Malfoy wouldn't stop throwing up? My life would be ruined. I'd have to drop out and become a beggar. Beggars don't get to wear cute clothing, dad, I'll have to sell my shoes--" She was rambling awfully, but thankfully, Draco had both learned to deal with her panicked rambles and shut it down.

"You're not going to throw up on the train, Historia. And if you do, they won't throw you off of it." He said with amusement, and Historia swallowed hard.

"And what if I puke on a cute boy?"

"You shouldn't be worrying about boys." Came the curt reply. Historia giggled, doing a little sway on her feet. As she got her words out of her system, she seemed to settle down, if just a little.

"You're right, I will be fine. Hogwarts is blessed to have me." She said, lifting her chin to the air as if challenging the school itself. Draco chuckled, amused by the routine they have created every September first. Historia shuffled slightly, somehow absorbing comfort from the clack of her heels against the floor, still looking for a familiar face.

Jasper realized with a heavy heart that he was nearing his last year at Hogwarts, that soon he was expected to go out into the real world and be a responsible wizard, follow in the footsteps of his parents and be respectable - ew. The thought could make him sick, he just wanted to kick back and relax, although he wasn't exactly sure why he was complaining. He could've been born a muggle, and have to get some dead end office job. At least he could get an office job with magic, right? Right.

Why was he thinking about this now? He didn't know, he should be more focused on actual school rather than what comes after, especially when he had, technically, two years left. There was no point in worrying about it now, that was for sure. Jasper just shoved his hands into the pockets of his jacket, hovering close to his three siblings despite not speaking to them. He was tired, after all, he hadn't gotten up this 'early' since his last year at Hogwarts. Once the summer came, he developed a sleeping habit along the lines of nocturnal, so it was only logical that he yawned every two seconds. His mother made a comment about his lack of sleep numerous times, but her complaints fell on deaf ears. Jasper was never truly responsible.

"I wonder if anyone would notice if I jumped off the train - would you guys cover for me? I could run into the woods and live with the centaurs." He mused, speaking out loud to none of his siblings in particular, just wanting to make noise for the sake of not falling over dead. Jasper moved to lean against his luggage, nearly knocking the whole cart over, and sending a very offended orange tabby to the ground.

The cat gave an annoyed, low meow at his owner, and Jasper clicked his tongue, scooping the cat up despite it's protests. "I'm sorry Scooter, I wanted to put you in a crate, but no, you're too good for my crates, aren't you?" He mused in an annoyingly high pitched voice, and the cat just glared at him despite the fact Jasper was scratching him under the chin. Obviously, affection wasn't enough to please Scooter. He huffed, setting the grumpy tom back onto the piles of his luggage, before looking around. He was looking for good friends, like all students were, a certain Potter, mostly. He had some catching up to do.

A miracle had just happened with Alex and his family, for they had arrived at the train station.......early! Not on time or barely going to make it. But early! Such a feat is truly one that the Weasly family rarely heard or even accomplished. Normally the train would be screaming and rearing to go, but not this time around. It was such an odd feeling arriving before one had to absolutely be there, and a new one for Alexander. There he stood close to his father and mother on the platform watching other kids walking around chatting about stuff and what not. His trolley was in possession of his dad, who after last year didn't allow Alex to take control over the cart (though he swears he wouldn't chase first years ever again with it....they seem to doubt him). In his hand was the cage that contained a beautiful hawk, one that currently had a hood on so it wouldn't freak out at a drop of a pin.

As he stood there Alex was about to start talking/annoying his parents with a few small jokes and just casual banter but before he started he saw a bit of white out of the corner of his eye. A smirk appeared on his lips and his silvery eyes instantly went to lock on the target he had just acquired. "I'll be back to get my things later mum, dad...got someone to entertain." Not waiting for a response he started to move through the crowd with the hawk cage still in hand as he kept his unwavering gaze on the source of his new interest. 'Now then scare her? Greet her like a normal being? Tease her? So many option only one go~'

When he was within a yard of the young Malfoy (who was actually the same age as him ) he attempted to creep up on the other. Which really wouldn't be a hard feat as the noise around them, the chatter and clatter would easily drown out any sound he could make when in stealth mode. Soon he was only inches from the other he came to a halt as he was starting to listen in on the small conversation Histora was having with her father. He didn't make a move as he needed to listen in....I mean he wanted to be polite and wait for their conversation to be over with.

Once it was done he crept up a bit more and then when he was right behind her. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He very suddenly screamed for no other purpose than to just scare her. Oh ya this caused a lot of attention to be given their way, however he really didn't care he just wanted to try and scare the other. "I mean, hello Hisoria how you doing~" He said flashing a toothy grin showing his canines and how he felt proud at his attempt to frighten the other.

Interacting with Longbottom Children, Historia Malfoy, and Alex Weasley

It was the day that Arthur had been looking forward to for the longest time. It was the day that all the potential wizards were to board the train to the magical school known as Hogwarts. Arthur followed along the rest of the Longbottom family his brothers, his sister, his mother and father. He pushed along his cart filled with his truck and his pet Tawney owl named Olly. they arrived at the magical barrier that seperated the muggle platform from the magical one of 9 3/4. It was Arthur's turn, he looked around and ran as fast as he could tword the stone wall. This had always made Arthur a little nervous but he was suddenly relieved once he passed through and was on the magical platform.

Arthur made his way tword the platform with his family, he was busy looking around when he suddenly tripped almost knocking over his trunk and Owl Olly. "oww" Arthur murmured as he hit the floor, he popped back up and dusted himself off a smile on his face. "I'm alright" he smiled at whoever was looking as he took a spot next to his oldest brother Jasper, who had just said something odd. Arthur put his hand on Jasper's shoulder, "Don't say that brother. Longbottom's should stick together, That's what Father is always telling us. Besides if you left who would keep an eye on the rest of us? Linus is almost done with his studies and then it'll just be Ivy and me." He nudged his little sister Ivy trying to get her to agree with him.

Arthur's talk with his brother was short due to his brothers cat running off. "he spoils that cat, oh well." That's when Arthur saw his good friend Alex Weasley. Alex was talking to another student from Hogwarts Historia Malfoy. They looked like they were getting along nicely, Arthur faced his family. "um i'll be back in a little bit i'm gonna go say hi to Alex and Historia." Arthur walked over to the two calling out to Alex as he approached excitedly. "Alex!!! hey Alex!!! How was your summer?" He nodded at Historia "hello Historia"

Another year, another rush through the barrier and into the chaos that was Platform 9¾. There was hardly anything glamorous about the beginning of the school year, and Cordelia Potter was no exception. She had woken up late, having gotten very used to sleeping in late over the summer, and had been forced to throw items into her trunk haphazardly at the final minute. There had been a brief lecture in the form of a shout from her mother, Ginny, and Cordelia was sure that her brothers, Sebus and Oliver, had been snickering about it the entire way to King's Cross. Sixth year, like fifth and fourth before it, was shaping up to be entirely typical.

Pushing her luggage trolley along the platform, Cordelia made comments to the twins and greeted a few friendly faces when she spotted them. Although she had been terribly late that morning and likely looked a mess with her dark hair thrown into a ponytail, and her eyes bare of any make up, there was really only one person she wanted to see. It was strange, really, to get so excited about someone she had been friends with for years. Before she could continue to daydream about the Longbottom boy, though, an annoyed meow caught her attention.

"Jellybean!" she gasped, scolding the wily black cat who had slipped his carrier. The feline had taken advantage of her lazy packing, and currently had his claws in the sleeve of a red sweater. "Stop that!" she hissed, tugging the sleeve from the cat's grasp. She made a point to stop and corral Jellybean back into his carrier, but the sweater was likely a lost cause. Once again, it was all rather routine; one small disaster after another until she finally boarded the train.

At the very least, the group had come to a stop and Cordelia was able to have a look around. Through the crowd she spotted a pair of blindingly white heads, looking studious and snobby in their style of dress and Cordelia couldn't resist lightly jamming her elbow into Sebus' ribs. "Isn't that your girlfriend over there?" she teased, pointing to Historia Malfoy, their cousin Alex and Arthur Longbottom across the platform. For once, she couldn't be bothered to rile the Malfoy girl up any, because where there was one Longbottom, the other three were often close by.

With a quick promise to return right away, Cordelia slipped into the crowd. She stood on sneaker-clad toes, looking over heads and skirting nervous first years, but it was Linus' tall head that she spotted first. When he came into view, she was happy to see Ivy, and of course, Jasper, standing there as well. "What happened to writing me?" she asked, laughing as she greeted him. Jasper was the missing piece to a perfect summer, but Cordelia didn't let on, nor was she really mad about the lack of mail.

By all accounts, the start of seventh year was supposed to be a good thing. It meant that he had made it, that another chapter of his life was just months away from unfolding into a blindingly bright future. Linus Longbottom didn't feel the excitement of near-freedom, though. Instead, standing on the platform that morning was terribly bittersweet and he couldn't seem to get over the fact that this was his last send off. Things were changing, that much was obvious, but Linus was nervous for what was to come. Although he had yet to board the train, part of him realized that the months would fly by, and soon it would be Christmas—and then summer again.

What was he supposed to do with himself?

Standing by his trunk, Linus pulled at the sleeves of his sweater, suddenly a bit uncomfortable until Jasper spoke up. Hiding deeper thoughts was an easy thing, something that Linus had been practicing for years, and he was always quick to entertain his siblings. He chuckled softly, smiling at the thought of Jasper, short and unassuming, living out his days in the forest with the Centaurs. Considering the way his NEWTs had turned out, pissing off to the forest to live in seclusion didn't sound like a bad idea.

Before he could ask to join Jasper on his quest to ditch school, Arthur spoke up and Linus raised an eyebrow. The younger boy was more studios—possibly because of his glasses—but it was funny when he took certain things seriously. "Hey, come on," he grinned and rested his arm on Ivy's shoulder for a moment, "she can make up her own mind. If she wants to traipse around the forest, that's her business." Protecting Ivy, their only sister, had been Linus' thing since her birth. Unfortunately, keeping an eye on her also meant dragging her along for the ride; she couldn't get into trouble if he was already doing it for them.

Soon enough, Arthur had fled the scene in favor of actual friends. However, where one was lost, another was quickly gained and Linus greeted Cordelia with a smile. The Gryffindor's had been friends for so long that Linus now considered the girl like family. "You forgot to write her?" he asked, stirring the pot just for the hell of it. He looked to Ivy, "you wouldn't do something so inconsiderate, would you?"

"Fredy! Avengelica!" Called their mother Angelina from the back door of their two story cottage style home. They lived in the country, a nice little seclusion from the hustle and bustle. There was a work shed on top of a little hill not far from the house where George would go to work on new things for the shop. It used to be inside the house but after a little incident of almost causing the whole place to explode Angelina insisted that he perhaps work on it a little further from the main house. 'Where are those girls?' Angelina thought as she took a step out of the doorway just in time to get a good wind from two brooms shooting in front of her. "STOP!" She hollered and the two brooms quickly came down, stopping right beside her. It was of course none other than the two daughters, Fredy and Avengelica. "What do you think you two are doing" Fredy and Angelina gave their mother a small smile. They knew they were in trouble. It was the start of another year after all. "Honestly I don't know how you could have expected anything else from us mum." Fredy soon responded before giving a slight shrug and quickly slipping past Angelina to rush inside. Avengelica did a little hop as she followed her sister indoors. "And where is your father?" Angelina's hands went up a little as if she was giving up, or done. Every year there was always something. There was snickering heard inside from the two girls and as Angelina began to walk in George cuts in around her, gives her a quick peck on the cheek and is inside the house before her. There was a sigh and Angelina knew not to bother. It was clear that the two were not the only ones involved in unscheduled flying. "You two are lucky that we're not going to be la--" Angelina clearly spoke too soon as a clock chimed. The train would leave in an hour and they lived just nearly that away. Without saying a word everyone rushed to grab everything and got piled in the car.

What felt like a never ending drive of anticipation for the girls ended with a relieving sigh from their mother. They don't know how they did it but they had managed to arrive at the train station a whole fifteen minutes before the train would leave. A new record for the girls. Though Angelina preferred to arrive early for things when it came to Fredy and Avenglica they caused things to cut close. George unloaded their bags onto trolleys and kissed the girls on their foreheads. The only time he had seen them off onto the platform was their first year. The girls remember him looking so sad. Someone had called him Fred and ever since then he would leave them at the door.

It was a smooth transition onto platform 9 3/4. The girls had raced ahead of their mother and got through well before she did. Each had similar items on their trolleys. The only difference being that on Fredy's rested an owl cage that had their pet ferret, named Bandit for he had white fur where the only dark markings were on his front paws and around his eyes like a mask, and on Avengelica's sat a stack of books. Not school related just something for her to read on the train ride. The two looked around. So many familiar faces, and so many new faces. "First years!" Fredy spoke excitedly as her mind started to race with which pranks she should start with first. Of course it wouldn't be right to just prank any first years in her house, all first years must be treated equally. "I know what you're thinking." Spoke up Avengelica softly as she pushed her trolley through the crowd with Fredy following beside her. "Avoid anything explosive on the first years this year. Last year you and Hugo got in huge trouble for having caused one of the muggle born to run off crying, on top soiling himself. Who knows if he will return!" Fredy shrugged in response to her sisters warnings. "You know I wouldn't repeat such a great time like that two years in a row. Gotta keep it fresh!" Fredy stuck her tongue out at her sister who responded by shaking her head with a laughing smile. "Alright, alright. See anybody worth talking to? We have time before the train leaves." The two got a bit of a jolting stop as someone tugged at the hoods of their jackets. "Give your mother a hug and I wont embarrass you with a kiss." It was their mother and the two girls rolled their eyes playfully, obliging to their mothers request still. As the three hugged Angelina spoke. "Now we were able to leave the house this year without any explosions..." Last year when leaving for the train Fredy had rigged fireworks up that went off just before they left the house. It caused them to be late as they had to put out the fires that had started, it had a been a dry summer that year. "and last year you could have gotten kicked out for your exploding whatever-it-was that caused the first years to run. Do NOT! cause another mishap this year. If I hear of one more incident I will pull you out myself." Her threats sounded empty to the twins. She said it almost every year, at least every year since the first...maybe during the first year too. Each year something would happen and George would bring her to laugh about it. Before Fredy could smart off Avengelica spoke. "I cannot tell a lie to you mother. Therefor we will say nothing." The twins nodded to each other, smiled and then left the hug. Fredy grabbed Bandit's cage, Avengelica grabbed her books, and the two moved their way through the crowd leaving their mother to handle their trolleys to the train. "Every year." Angelina spoke with a mothers sigh as she went to take the carts to the train.

"Ivy!" Fredy called as she spotted one of their friends. Her left arm in the air feverishly as she waved to get her attention. "Come on Avengelica. Lets see Ivy and her cute brother Jasper!" Fredy made this sort of playful swooning face as she put her hand down and grabbed Avengelica's. "You think just about any boy is cute." "Yeah, so?" Avengelica shook her head but followed her sister. Avengelica didn't have the attraction to boys like her sister did. In fact she didn't really have an attraction to girls either. At least not in the same way, not yet. She found someones mind to be an attractive quality over their features. Though she would be telling a lie if she said that Professor Longbottom wasn't the hottest teacher at the school. Not that she'd openly admit to thinking that. Fredy on the other hand wouldn't hesitate to let Ivy know that her dad was the hunkiest teacher and the only reason she would never skip Herbology.

The two soon came upon their friend. "Hey Ivy!" Fredy gave a little wave and then turned her gaze to Jasper. "Hello Jasper." Her voice a little lower, as if she were trying to sound more mature in her greeting. "Hello everyone." Avengelica spoke softly and gave a little bit of a nod with her greeting.

A new school year brought new excitement for Ivy. While writing essays or taking exams was not pleasant, the socializing component more than made up for any stress. Standing on her toes, Ivy swiveled her head from side to side looking around for any of her friends. Of course, her lack of height made seeing over the bustling crowd of the Platform difficult. Ivy gave a huff in frustration before giving up and falling back on the heels of her Mary Janes. She needed to meet up with the others to plan for the upcoming year. Surely Avengelica and Fredy had some pranks up their sleeves to make Fourth year more interesting?

Hearing her brothers chattering, Ivy tuned in just in time to be included in the conversation. She grinned at Jasper's slightly ridiculous proposal, but felt slightly melancholy at the thought of Jasper and Linus leaving Hogwarts and going off on their own. The mornings during break would be terribly quiet without them. Before she could give her affirmation to Arthur's statement (that they absolutely cannot just up and live without taking her with them!), Linus cut in and lightened the mood. Ivy's small frown lifted, and she laughed. "I think I would make a quite good centaur, don't you think?" she joked, "Can't you just see me prancing along side them?"

Arthur left, probably to get away from ridiculous notions of running out into the Forbidden Forest instead of studying. Still looking around for the twins, she didn't notice Cordelia until the Potter girl spoke to Jasper. Looking between the two of them, Ivy was curious. Was her brother supposed to write Cordelia? Did Jasper fancy this girl? Previously unaware of the attraction between the two, she filed her questions away for later, thinking perhaps she will interrogate Linus later. Catching his teasing, she couldn't help but play along, "I'm terribly sorry. Please, darling, forgive me!" She cried dramatically. Her owl, Cicero, gave a cry of his own to mimic the apology.

The appearance of her friends had her do a 180. "Fredy! Avengelica!" She sang cheerfully, "It's been too long, m'dears!" Catching Fredy's subtle.. flirtation? towards her brother, Ivy cast a glance at Avengelica, before attempting guide the twin's gaze to Cordelia. Leaning over to Linus, Ivy inquired how much longer was left until the train departed. First, Arthur reminded her that Jasper and Ivy did not have too much time left in Hogwarts. Now there's some sort of.. something between Jasper and Cordelia. Could this year get any stranger?

The Dark corridor twisted and turned as a young woman walked down it. Her breath clung in the air as she made her way to a crypt. Her eye's wandered the cold stone. It was slimy and vines crawled up it threateningto eat it up." Come in child. My how you have grown up. We have always been watching you. we are so proud with what you know and have achieved in the last 6 years."A voice rasped."Time for you to join us come here Girl."She stepped forward and a old gross hand grabbed her and her arm started to burn.

Pandora let out a scream and sat up in bed sweating like crazy. She looked at her right arm it still burned. On it she saw the raised mark and gulped. She got up showered and dressed to go to school in a few hours. She however did not go downstairs and get up fully. She lay in bed till her Adoptive mother screeched for her.

"Pandora Riddle Lestrange Zabini Get your lazy sleeping body up you will miss the train to school if you don't" Her Adoptive mother Pansy yelled at her. Pandora rolled her eye's as she pushed herself up. It was her last year in the House of Salazar Slytherin. She had changed her last name to fit her name. She was not a Zabini she was a Lestrange and that meant the Malfoys were her relatives real relatives. She had talked with her Aunts and Uncles when she was younger and stayed in touch. Her mother had served the Dark Lord and now he and she were gone.

Pandora was still reeling from the dream and replied."I am up for the love of God I am up." She said. Pandora walked down with her trunk and her cat in his cage." Sheesh I am ready." She said." Good here your books and breakfast, now be off and don't be late."Her Adoptive mother said. Pandora just thanked her and left the house packing it into her car. She made her way to the station and ran through the wall. Once on the platform she looked round and sighed. It thankfully was her last year. She oddly enough was in a long sleeve black shirt jeans and converse. Her eye's hidden behind shades and her arms were crossed. She slowly spotted her Uncle and cousin and made a face. For Draco Malfoy having a notorious father His daughter was giving a bad name to the Malfoys name. Her Uncle Lucius enjoyed her mind and often said he wished that she was his child. Her Aunt said she reminded her of Bellatrix. Everyone said she was the spitting image of her mother.

Pandora huffed d made her way to her uncle and cousin." Uncle Draco and my cousin good to see you Historia." Pandora said and gave a slight disgust look at the others speaking with Historia but hid it quickly. She bit her lipas her arm started to burn a bit. She looked around when she heard her name." I will see you in school Historia and see you for Christmas Uncle." She hugged him goodbye. Pandora walked to where her Slytherin friends were and they asked about her summer as they boarded the train. Pandora chose a cart and sat by the window. She had told her friends she catch up with them at the feast. However for now she wished to be alone away from people so she closed the door and looked out the window wishing the school year to pass quickly and with no incidents. She looked down at her arm and moved the sleeves back as she looked at the mark. Her hand went over it and she let out a small hiss. She hadn't asked for, it but with they she acted no one would believe her. She covered it quickly when her car door opened. Her eye's looked up to look at who's had entered.
