Just so you mods know plotting is going on we just got the one man update.

Anyway to you fellows who've just joined us looking to possibly get in on an RP with about as long a Legacy as the Iwaku Mythos, here's the scoop.

So far the Shintaion Defense Force (good guys) have managed to defeat Idris of the OOA (Magic bad guys). In this they found out they had stationed units too close to the Resistance (SDF again) and wound up paying for it. Now with that out of the way the unit is traveling to Lavion (the northern continent) by underground train. (Cuz you can't get much cooler.) Hopefully they'll find answers to what has killed several people out in Ashland (The connecting land bridge between Shintaion (primary continent) and Lavion) and hopefully their worst fears (Dark Bogan (also a bad guy)) isn't behind it. Although these fears might evoke newer nightmares. (more bad guys?)
 
Indeed. And can easily work openings in at this point as well for those interested.

Yo. just to let you guys know.. I'm planning to save the RP and back it up on my computer somewhere at some point here soon, just in case. What is like the best file for that eh? eh, probably will just do it in word...
 
yeah .doc and .txt work otherwise if ya wanna be lazy saving the whole html works too.
 
Sticking with the text for now. Anyhow, it is all backed up so if anyone wants a copy of what we have so far just ask! Both the IC and the OOC.
 
Ok got the back-ups now! Tried to google document them but eh, it doesn't take kindly to HUGE files so I'd have to split into multiples there at some point here...

Anyhow, gonna be busy soon so.. This'll give you guys something to do. Feel free to control the Dark Beasts at your leisure. Sethos well..I'll leave ya guys with my blueprints for things just in case...

I did wanna do some plotting here and figure out some pacing here but..ain't gonna happen with the current set of circumstances eh? Ah, man can't even find peace on here but such is life....
 
Well, it comes down to this then. After this whole Underworld thing is wrapped up which it will be soon, we do one of two things:

1.A romp through the Ashland's dangerous jungle as Misae Nerys, the White Serpent of Lavion herself chases us and perhaps does battle with us. Who or if she fights us all... Figure that out eventually.

2.Just skip to Arcadia, Noe side-switching and OOA helping her/raiding the vault scenario beginning.

So cast your votes on this and that will determine the course of action here.
 
Yes, I'd like a summery please. I'm going to finish my CS on Saturday or Monday. Is this okay, what I've done thus far? I wasn't sure, because I wanted her to have experimented in frost magic so deeply that she's become part ice elemental.

Flurry // Blizzard: Flurry creates a small snowstorm that severely reduces visibility for a few seconds, allowing Celcius to move stealthily in the flurry while putting a thin layer of snow on the ground. Blizzard doesn't do damage, but buries the landscape in snow, reducing mobility.
Touch of Cold // Dance of the Frozen Queen: Touch of Cold is a passive melee ability that freezes whatever Celcius touches, the larger the target, the longer it takes. Dance of the Frozen King focuses Celcius's Touch of Cold into her hands, allowing her to freeze opponents more quickly while utilizing her natural speed to seemingly dance around them. With quick hits in rapid succession, she can quickly build up ice on the opponent's body to impede and eventually lock their movement.
Frost Shot // Hailstorm: Frost shot throws a ball of ice. In Hailstorm, Celcius creates a small ball of energy in her mouth that, when fully charged, fires multiple smaller Frost Shots in rapid succession.
Frozen Prison // Finale: To use Frozen Prison, Celcius stomps the ground to create an ice trap that, when stepped on, will bind the victim under a thick coating of ice; the trap looks nothing more than a patch of ice. Finale can only be used on an opponent entirely entombed in ice. The ice around the entombed opponent shatters into tiny pieces that hover for a moment, then pierce that same opponent's body, dealing massive damage. However, Finale is a draining move to use, so she uses it sparingly.

Weaknesses: Heat, lack of physical strength, cold focus (Celcius's primary abilities can be used instantly, but her secondary abilities require channel time to use)

History:
Celcius is the beloved princess of a tiny peace-loving nation comprised of a few villages located near the Southeastern area of Shrivisk. However, the OOA came stomping through the area and deposed her family, killing her father, when the nation resisted. Her mother took her by the hand and fled, barely making it to the Shintaion. She now lives near Azull, training her skills and biding her time for a chance to defeat the OOA and reclaim her kingdom to save her subjects.

Deep in the barren land of Shrivsk, there still exist a few places spared from the bombing, particularly near the frozen tundra of the far southeast, where few ventured. However, a few remote villages thrived there, originally bands of elves who sought peace and solitude away from the bickering of the other races and far from the tunnel openings of the Dark Beasts. They called their village Frejadon and they welcomed all who came in the name of peace, humans, elves, and beast alike, and quite a few villages sprang up during the times before the Great Wars, as they called it. But the bombing affected even them, as bombs vaporized more than half of the villages. One elf united the remaining villages to protect them from any further harm that would come. King Jovan, as the villages knew him, ruled with a kind heart and was much loved, as was his family, Queen Britana and Princess Celcius, whom all adored. The peace lasted for many years.

A dark shadow crept on the kingdom of Frejadon, but in their complacency, no one saw it coming, not even King Jovan, who had kept a watchful eye. In the seventh year of Jovan's reign, ships came from the northwest demanding obedience and worship to their leader. The villages could care less about some deity they had never heard of and King Jovan rallied Frejadon to stand against the invasion. However, the beast and demon warriors proved too strong and utterly decimated the forces of the untrained and peace-loving Frejaling. Still, they fought with everything they had, King Jovan leading every charge until finally, a demon slew him in combat. The Queen, seeing this from the hilltop castle, took the princess and fled through the barren wastelands of Shrivisk. Because she focused on keeping Celcius alive, the Queen fell just outside a town in Abscus. Celcius ran to the town for help that never came and she returned to her mother, who died the next day. Celcius dug a small grave for her mother and placed her in it. The grief that ripped at Celcius's insides triggered the innate, but sleeping magic that lay in her and magic exploded out of her, uncontrolled. When she came to, Celcius saw that her mother now lay in a block of ice and no matter how many hours passed, it wouldn't melt. After a full day, Celcius tore herself away from her mother's grave, knowing that she had to survive.

She stole supplies and stowed away on a ship to Shintaion. However, she was discovered and, upon landing, guards escorted her off the ship for evaluation, whether she was a spy or just another stowaway. Scared, Celcius attempted to summon her magic and, though she had poor control, managed to freeze the boots of the guards. She fled through the streets as the guards cursed her, but she immediately ran into more guards. Lost, confused, and scared now, her magic summoned a small flurry of snow just long enough for her to get away. Those "guards," though, were none other than General Zigus and a few advisors. When Celcius inevitably was caught a few hours later, Zigus had her brought to him, knowing that she had acted like no spy would. She told her story to him and she was cleared of all charges and sent to the outskirts of Azull to train her magic with an elf mage there.

Three hard years she spent training her magic to take back her country. And now, her time has come.
 
I'd personally vote for option 2, just because it'd be easier to do the side-switch after this, as well as make it a lot easier to sell the whole "losing her mind" deal. The more prolonged it is, the harder it gets to stretch it, so to speak.

Ok, join the group, it has the summary in there. Best way I could think of showing it to you. Just keep in mind you'll probably to join in a bit, we're in the Underworld right now so, once we get to the surface/Arcadia that'd be easier to fit your character in.

Well one thing I would recommend, probably best to be a demon if you're going to transform. Elves aren't known for that and well..It'd be kinda weird you know, elves doing one of the things that makes demons special and unique. OR you can think of some other ice related power to her perhaps, elves are magic based after all just keep away from the transformation though is what I'd recommend.

And Option 2 it is then. We're finish what we're doing now up soonish, do a bit of a skip so the characters get a good rest seeing as they've been running and then this whole OOA thing will start up.

Well now you got your chance with my most recent post, you're all set.. A bit more subtle than you may have expected but we'll get into action soon here...

Basically it's your cue to do some sort of introductory post and meet everyone at the Arcadian Arena.
