"N-no,it's fine. There's no need to be sorry!" I said, still keeping my smile.I didn't bother looking back at the others, seeing that the silence was quickly eliminated by the different conversations once again."Inaho Yuki?" I repeated, making sure that I got her name right."I like your name,it's cute!".Ah,I remember now.She was that one quiet girl from that other class last year.If we were in the same class before,we probably would've known each other sooner."Ah,I'm Minamoto Rika by the way! I hope we could get along very well~"

Yuki smiled as she now stood on front of Rika. "C-can I call you Rika...? You can call me Yuki too!" She had a big smile on her face as she remembered the girl, she met her before and they weren't talking, simply because she always kept her distance from others. "H-how are you?" Yuki wasn't used to talk to others, she usually just live in her own little world and had fun there...but maybe it was time to move on from that and enjoy the company of actual humans.

"Of course,Yuki-chan~" I beamed.I'm actually used to being called by my first name, seeing that a lot of people here at school already call me that.I don't mind though. In fact,I prefer being called by my first name."Me?Mmh..." I scratched my cheek with a finger as I thought for a moment."I'm fine and excited for this school year~" Yeah, just like every year. Why do I feel like I'm the only one who's always looking forward to the first days of school? "How about you?"

uwtl1vC.png
She smiled as she saw Rikas excitement and got a little more confident in talking to her, "I'm also looking forwards to the new year I'm a little scared about so many new people though" she looked down a little she couldn't quite match the excitement of Rika, but she somehow was excited now that she met someone new. "I hoped to find new friends this year~ I'm really shy usually though..." she smiled at her again and looked around class "I really don't know many people from the class though."

With all the time I had on my own, I began to reflect on my plans for world domination. And, as it happened, the more I thought about them, the less viable they seemed. The school was filled with powerful individuals, and while I was sure none of them could stand up to the might of the emperor on their own, they would make a viable threat if rallied. I needed allies, people who would be on my side if worst came to worst. And, as if in mocking response, the universe delivered unto me a potential minion.

That girl... The one with the twintails... I'd seen the look in her eyes before. At least, I thought I had. Either way, even if I couldn't get the specifics of it down, the expression in them was unmistakable. I rose discreetly, slipping by and between classmates, trying to stick to where they couldn't see me. Hopefully, I'd go unnoticed - I didn't need people socialising with me. But I wasn't going to have someone who could potentially be my ally go unrecruited by me. She seemed brash, brazen - the kind of personality I couldn't stand, but needed if I was going to take over the world.

"I have received word that you are in need of allies," I said as he offered his hand to Yuki, "And I- I mean, I heard you say you were looking for friends."
My retraction was rather sheepish - and my expression matched. This was bad. not even a minute in, and she'd already heard from Dreadnought.

"Don't worry,I'll help you get out of your shell~ I know you'll make a lot of friends soon~" And that I can guarantee.I mean,it's not that hard to make friends...is it? Our conversation was disrupted when a student came over with an unusual introduction. "Allies...? I repeated in a mumble, but I just shrugged it off and winked at Yuki."Well, here's a chance right now" I said in a whisper and smiled.A shy person can't be shy forever, right?Right?

Yuki smiled at her and nodded, that was probably perfect to find friends and get away from her crazy imaginations.
Suddenly someone else appears and she blushed at the way he spoke.
"A-allies?" she spoke almost the same second as Rika.
"Y-yeah...I do look for some new friends. She smiled at the new person.
"I'm Inaho, Inaho Yuki, but you can just stick to Yuki."
She hesitantly took his hand.

Yukio looked around spotting a group of 5 girls heading towards his direction, he quickly covered his face pretending to read a book... "Oh you gotta be kidding me... 5 of them?" He thought to himself... He prayed they hadn't noticed him, too late! They were getting closer... He looked at the few others he somewhat knew for a moment, they were less noticeable than he was... Oh how he envied them, they didn't have to deal with unwanted attention on a daily basis! If it wasn't for his school uniform he would have been able to keep that attention away from him, but unfortunately that wasn't possible... He was shaking a little, behind the book, if only they knew just how nervous he gets around groups of people he's not familiar with! He looked around realizing he'd have to resort to making a quick escape, at least to an area with people he was more familiar with... Unfortunately he was surrounded before he could do anything "Great... This just isn't my day..." He thought to himself...

Hiromi leisurely walked to his classroom, not worried that he might be late on the first day. As expected though, he arrived just before the homeroom teacher did and just as he had expected, he found a lively and noisy class. How typical. It has been a year since he had sealed the Phantom for the sake of living a "normal human life" but he is on edge right now. If he would see anything that could trigger his Chuunibyou tendencies, then he would be powerless to stop the Phantom's return.

"I don't really mind if he returns though. Life has been boring without my conquests for the Liberation of Mondo." He mused before finding a seat beside the last seat next to the window. There, he overheard the conversation of two girls about...

"Cerberus?... Either these two are Greek Mythology enthusiasts or... No. Impossible. There is no way that they could also be diagnosed with that!" He thought.

He was about to give up on that theory when he heard them talk about attacks and other things only Chuunibyou patients would say.

"Guess this is a sign of his return. Oh well. I should stay true to myself after all." He muttered feeling a bit ecstatic under his breath.

Hiromi turned to the two girls' direction and saw how beautiful the Cerberus drawing was as if the real thing could jump off the piece of paper.

"Well, even the best illustrators can't seem to get the real aura of Cerberus but you managed to do that on just a plain piece of paper. I'm impressed. Are you sure that you've had no other experiences aside from reading books and articles?" Hiromi told the illustrator girl before clearing his throat and speaking to her once more. "Oh, sorry. How rude of me not to introduce myself first. My name's Hiromi Higurashi but you can just call me Hiro or Romi or Double H. Whichever you prefer. May I know what your names are?" He said to both Akane and Aya.

"Well, even the best illustrators can't seem to get the real aura of Cerberus but you managed to do that on just a plain piece of paper. I'm impressed. Are you sure that you've had no other experiences aside from reading books and articles?", asked the male voice when he approached the table. "Well, aren't you all so eager to communicate?" Akane thought to herself. She raised her head to look at the newcomer. He was awkward enough and she couldn't help but to wonder, what the hell is wrong with his eye? Of course, it was rude enough to stare, so she wouldn't ask in a first place. Instead she nodded lightly to the guy. "Yes, thank you." She smirked lying calmly once more. "Of course I didn't." She took out her headphones and stuff them in her pocket, smiling reassuringly. "I don't get you guys. Experience besides books and articles would mean witnessing it or something, the way you two put it. Well, even if that was possible, I am pretty sure I am not that old to know hell pets of Ancient Greece in person."

She smiled, not intending to insult but to have a discussion. Not only a discussion with them, but with herself as well. She paid attention to the guy when he spoke again.
"Oh, sorry. How rude of me not to introduce myself first. My name's Hiromi Higurashi but you can just call me Hiro or Romi or Double H. Whichever you prefer. May I know what your names are?" Akane hesitated a bit before answering. "Akane. Akane Mori. Nice to meet you...I guess." She still couldn't get used to talk to Aya, and now another unknown person came. It confused her how both of them don't really mind her weird nature. She already realised Aya was obviously on the same train as she was, except she pretty much didn't care to hide it, but for Hiromi she wasn't certain.

He spotted an opening within the group of girls that nearly surrounded him "Yes! I think I can make it!" He took the chance and sprinted towards Akanes table seeing he somewhat recognized the people there... (Think of the panicked chibi style anime running o-o) Skidding to a stop at an empty spot there where the other two hid him from the view of the girls... He was panting heavily from the exertion, he looked back for a moment, seeing that the girls had no idea where he went... He sighed in relief, then he realized he'd have to introduce himself to the group he had rushed into... "Come on Yukio.. Introduce yourself! That's what a hero's supposed to do... Right?" He thought to himself...

If Yuki looked closely, she would be able to see a brief flash of utter surprise on my face. Honestly, she'd caught me off guard - I hadn't expected her to do this much, even out of politeness. Rather unfittingly - for the person who'd put his hand out - I shook hers nervously.
"Come on, man! Play it cool. You've got to make a good first impression on these people. Just let a little bit of Dreadnought out, let them see your confident side..."
"It is a pleasure to meet you, miss...?"
"OH FOR THE LOVE OF- YOU FORGOT TO TAKE THE VOICE OFF, YOU MORON."

"Yep, I have experience! Just slew one a few minutes ago. Hope the Pit master will pay up!..." Oh did I forget to tell her?... "Noooooo! She won't take it now, and I won't be able to see her for the rest of the day! Ahhhh..." I was unaware that Mika-Chan was actually the rep for Seniors. "Sorry, about that... Name's Aya. Queen of the Pit!" I gave a salute and smiled.

uwtl1vC.png
"Y-Yuki...." she added and blushed at the way the boy spoke again, it reminded her of her own imagination just a few months back and it was always rather cute for people to be like this, but it seemed people were way of sometimes.
"N-nice to meet you...I-I think...I didn't catch your name...I'm sorry..." she looked down, she really didn't know his name.

"As I thought. At least one of them are just like me... And she isn't hiding that fact from everyone else. Interesting..." Hiromi mentally noted as he gave the two of them a warm and friendly smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet the two of you." He said to both of them before regarding Aya first. "Perhaps we could be allies, Koromisu-san. For I am also known as the Chaos Phantom." He said to her though he was sure Akane was close enough to hear him say that. Then he turned to Akane and gently held her hand. "And perhaps you and I could be good friends in the future" Hiromi told Akane with a cheerful smile on his face. He didn't bother hiding the fact that he has Chuunibyou from them since there's no use keeping it a secret from someone like him.

"Yuki, hm? A fine name! I am Mutou Hisao, lesser form of-"
"God DAMN IT, boy! I thought I told you to stop!"
I cleared my throat, an increasingly frantic look plastered across my face. Drednought was getting out of control. I had to revert back. Back tot he quiet, unassuming person that didn't make himself look like an idiot.

I made sure to keep my voice normal, this time.

"Well, never mind that. It's nice to meet you."

"Hello?" Yukio spoke to the group he had ended up "mingling" with finally after hesitating for a while "Sorry for coming here all of a sudden... But I was kind of in a predicament..." He continued quite awkwardly, he wondered if the others in the group noticed him....

"Perhaps we could be allies, Koromisu-san. For I am also known as the Chaos Phantom." The way Hiromi referred to himself, came as a surprise. Not a shocking one because Akane already had her doubts that were now turned to certainty, but more of a surprise that nudged her from the inside, as she wished to know more. He didn't seem that chaotic to her, but then again, she never looked a lot like death itself either. "And perhaps you and I could be good friends in the future" She jerked lightly when Hiromi took her hand. She never got used to any physical contact and this one was truly deep one. "Um..." She glared at him, resisting the urge to pull her hand back and out of his, and yell at him. He was just being nice.

She turn her head and looked at her table once she realised her cheeks began to burn, and on her pale skin it would be easy visible if she continued to look at him.
"I..." 99 percent of her body and mind told her to get the hell away, but that one percent was persistent, and she finally spoke insecurely. "I guess..." Instantly she hated herself for that, but she couldn't just say no. Hiromi was too interesting. Akane instantly planned that if anything bad is about to happen, she will keep away. But until then, there was no problem... or so she hoped. She took a while to get a grip on herself, and seeing his smile made her relax a bit. She smiled back lightly, making sure she isn't THAT much of a freak. "C-can I get my hand back, please? I kinda need it to do things." She chuckled nervously showing that it was a joke and not and insult of any kind.

I kept a smile on as I watched Yuki socialize with Mutou-kun.It's nice to see shy people start opening up,especially Yuki, seeing that she is trying her best.Seeing things like this makes me really happy~ ...though there's something that seemed a bit off with Mutou-kun.He seemed kind of distracted somewhat.Could it be that he has...nah,no.That can't be it.Then again...

I cleared my throat and tilted my head a bit as I spoke."Mutou-kun,are you alright?" I asked in a tone that seemed like a mix of cheerfulness and worry."You aren't starting to get a cough now,are you?".That was probably not the best thing to ask, comparing it to "Are you feeling nervous?" or maybe "Is something bothering you?",but I already asked it,and I can't take it back now.Ah whatever. It's not like I'm asking him anything bad, right?

Hiromi blushed a little when he realized that he's held Akane's hand way longer than he should have. He quickly let go and averted his gaze a little, only turning back when he was sure his cheeks were no longer beet red.

"Hey, Akane-san. I'm planning on writing a Light Novel but I need an illustrator. Would you mind if you become my illustrator once I start making one." He asked nonchalantly in order to hide his embarrassment. He then turned to AYa and regarded her.

"I'm interested in learning more about the Queen of the Pit. Would you mind sharing some info about her?" He asked Aya politely,
