Leviathan.

When Adi had curled up in her ball, holding her stuff to her chest, he scooted closer to her and placed a hand on her back in a comforting way. Yes he should probably sleep, but he had no idea of the danger out in the woods at this time. There could be wild life out there and he wanted to make sure that she was safe through it all. Levi was use to caring for himself out in the wild, but now he had another mouth to feed. Another life to protect- his own herd to manage and see live. It was a comforting thought to have a herd again and not be so alone anymore. Levi hoped that Adi would enjoy it out here, even if it could be a struggle sometimes.

Evenutally with her soft breathing and the sound of the crickets in the distance; Levi did doze off to sleep while sitting up against the bushs' trunk. It was bright morning light that woke him from the light sleep and he shifted, finding himself laying down and using Adi as a sort of pillow. Quickly getting off of her, he rubbed his face and shook his head for a moment. It was dawn and they should be heading out further into the woods. From what he could tell of their location; they where fairly far from the West and headed more Eastern. Not to bad to say the least as it was a 50/50 shot.

Levi went to crawl out from under the bush, and went to gently shake Adi by her shoulder, "Adelaide, time to get up, its dawn and we should get going before they scout out the forest," He said softly, his morning voice lower than usual and he went to stand to stretch his sore body. The ground wasn't always a friendly place to sleep and Levi went to grab his own bag off the ground as well as his shirt he had used for padding. It was chillier in the morning, with dew on the ground and the sun barely touching the edges of the sky, "We should also go find some food; I know where we can find little critters to hunt down and what berries to eat or not eat,"

Adi found comfort in Levi scooting closer to her, his hand resting softly against her back. Despite it being chilly and the first time she had slept on anything overnight aside from her bed, she felt like things would be okay still. It wasn't long before she was drifting off to sleep quietly.

The next morning she felt movement against her side and a breeze where there was warmth. Squirming a bit as she opened her eyes and realized where she was, she felt her shoulder shake gently and the deep voice bring her out of her sleepiness. She wasn't much of a morning person, but she had been use to being dragged out of bed by this time or earlier anyway. Yawning quietly, she sat up and looked around, blinking away the sleep from her eyes.

Spotting Levi nearby, she glanced over him and settled in on his deeper morning voice, smiling softly. "Good morning," she mumbled sleepily. Standing up from the ground, she pulled some twigs from her hair and tried to tame the wildness of her bed head before dusting off her clothes and stretching.

"Okay. Where should we start?" She asked, glancing around them more. It was lighter out but still very early. The sun was barely out and the morning coldness lingered in the air. The green bushes and leaves were damp with dew. Pulling her bag over her shoulders, she pulled her shoes back on that she had slipped out of the night before, ready to tackle the rest of the day, even if she was still waking up from the night before.

"How can you tell which way we are going?" She asked curiously. She hadn't ever learned to track or read by the moon or the stars or the sun. She didn't even know what most of that meant, but surely he did since he lived out in the woods his entire life.

The answer to her question was one he had never been asked before. He just sort of knew at this point but there was tell tale signs of which direction they had been moving in; each Kingdom was very different from each other in placement in the forest. "The most East you go, the lesser trees there are because the Eastern kingdom sits in a meadow of sorts. The more South you go, the warmer it gets and the more palm trees you see. The Southern kingdom is very tropical; so it has more fruit, tropical animals and plants you see. Then the North kingdom is where I am from, well more North than it, and they sit just outside the mountains so its colder with more pine trees and animals like deer or moose," he explained to her with a smile as he ruffled his longer hair with a hand to dislodge any leaves stuck in it.

"I also just know at this point. The more you travel the more you just know where you are between the four Kingdoms," Levi continued and went to offer his hand to her so they could keep walking. Heading away from where they had stopped to sleep for the night and traveling more along the stream that flowed through the forest, but it was several feet away. He could also follow the scent of each kingdom to know where he was as well; East smelled more like lavender, South like pineapples, North like crisp winter air and the West like maple sap.

It was strange to explain such a thing to Adi because he had always just known, and well was more in the air during his travels so one tends to memorize that of the world. Suppose Levi should make more of a human-friendly way of finding their way around. Not like Adi had the sense of smell he did, or his words even made sense in what he had explained. So, he let go of her hand and as they walked gestured to different flowers they passed, "See, the more we go the more lavender you see. The Eastern kingdom is known for its lavender, barely and wheat plants. And the trees are getting less and less; you can almost see the stream from where we are," Pointing out to where the blue water was just a small divet in the horizon.

Adi listened quietly as Levi explained the main geographical differences between the kingdoms, taking a mental note so that she could hopefully learn as well. "I see," she said quietly, watching as he ruffled the leaves from his hair and offered her a hand. She took it with a soft smile so she could keep up with him as they began to travel that day. She glanced around them, taking in the sound of the stream and the other animals fluttering about while they walked.

She couldn't believe that they were actually here, in the forest running away from everything. Of course he only knew she was ready to run for a real adventure, but to her it was much more than just getting to experience this like she had wanted, it was a chance for her to finally have freedom. And honestly, it was so far even better than she imagined. Maybe it was just the adrenaline of it all, but everything was beautiful and peaceful. Levi was so kind to have joined her- she wasn't sure what she would have done without him.

Glancing to where Levi pointed at the lavender, she took in a fresh smell near one of the plants and smiled. Then her head turned towards where he pointed out the stream. It's blue shined through all the trees and bushes and leaves. She watched the water flowing past rocks and lodged tree trunks. "So you did a lot of traveling before you lost your family too?" She asked.

Leviathan.

Levi felt he was explaining how to find the way in a rather confusing matter, but it made sense to him. Direction came with the wind, with sound and smell, not with sight as the world was ever changing. So one day there might be a tree there, but the next it might be gone or look just like another tree. Yet the sound will never fade, and scent will always carry from place to place. Two stagnents in a place that will never remain the same for long. It was why he loved the forest so much, why he loved being in nature and taking in the sights.

Never could see the same thing twice out here, unless man made of course. Man made was an ugly ink spot on that of the world and cut through green grass like a knife through paper. Though his thoughts where changed when Adi spoke about traveling before he lost his family and he gave a bright smile with a nod, "Yes, we migrated every year to the south, spent time in the East and even some what in the West but it was for a short time. In the air everything is so different; a whole new perspective on where to go or what to see," He responded with a nod.

As the neared the East kingdom, the trees became sparse with large openings between them and the ground around them started to grow in height. Rolling hills rose up, covering the stream and giving light to patches of heather, wheat and barley. The scent was soft and warm, much different from that of the West. Foliage soon disappeared, but a new sound arose with their walking. Sunlight just above the treeline, they mustve been walking for a few hours at most, and the sound only got louder.

A roaring, rushing sound that covered even that of wild life was near. It became some what humid the closer they got to it, and Levi brightened at the sound. Grasping her hand to pull her along just a little bit faster and as they neared Levi pushed through some fern bushes it was like the world came to life. A large, 120ft waterfall stood loud and proud at the end of the stream and rolled off a large hill. Off in the distance was the fuzzy shapes that was the Eastern kingdom; split from the world by the majestic falls.

"Remember the idea of jumping from a waterfall?" Levis' dark gaze glistened with playfulness and excitement, "How about we give it a try?"

Adi listened quietly as Levi spoke- she was good at listening. She always had been. It was interesting to hear what people had to say and often if she listened enough their private thoughts would soon start speaking. It really told her a lot about then.

While they walked she admired the views and foliage. She had only ever dreamed of being this close to such beauties and getting to experience nature in its true, raw form. While she traveled occasionally with her family, it was always by carriages and she wasn't supposed to look out the window in case there were people following them. Walking over the fallen leaves and brushing past the plants was much more personal. She could smell everything better, see everything better. This warm, happy feeling just overwhelmed her each time she saw something new on their path. How would anyone want to pass this up for the life they were living?

A few hours in and Adi was ready for a break. She wasn't use to traveling this much on foot and she was started to ache and get thirsty. While it wasn't hot, the walk was wearing her body out. Her ears perked up as they neared a roaring sound she hadn't ever heard before. Before she could ask what it was or figure it out herself, her hand was being pulled forward by Levi. She laughed a little at the sight of him excitedly hurrying towards whatever it was- it must have been something wonderful.

Pushing through the fern bushes beside Levi, she stared with wide eyes at the large waterfall that stood in front of them. She didn't even know what to say. The sight was majestic and beautiful and loud and everything she thought it would be and more. Her eyes watched as the water poured down onto the stream, white splashing as it hit the water waiting below. She took in every part, hardly hearing Levi talk until she registered what he said.

"What?!" She laughed a little, looking over to him. The look on his face said he was serious and excitement overtook her body. She had dreamed about jumping from the waterfall but never thought she may actually do it- now, here she was on the verge of a different kingdom with Levi and this opportunity. "Yes!" She said, squeezing his hand. "Yes! Yeah, let's do it!" She said, her feet jumping back and forth in excitement.

There was a little area at the bottom of the waterfall where they could leave their things so they wouldn't all get wet. Adi left her bag and shoes there beside a bush and excitedly pulled Levi along to the top of the waterfall. It was a little ways up, but it only took them a few minutes. Glancing down from the side, seeing just how far up they were, Adi nervously looked around, grasping Levi's hand. She hadn't ever experienced a lot of heights, and she wasn't sure why she was nervous of falling when she was planning on jumping. She just had no idea what awaited them at the bottom.

They slowly and carefully made their way over the rocks at the top of the waterfall, making sure not to slip from the water. They finally stopped when they were right in the middle so they had plenty of room to jump. Adi was getting more nervous by the second, but every time her hand twitched nervously she felt Levi still beside her which gave her a great sense of relief. "Okay, ready?" She asked, looking over at him with a smile. "On three?" She asked, yelling over the loud water rushing down.

The feeling of pushing her feet off of the rocks and lifting off of the earth was overwhelming. Her hand kept ahold of Levi's as they jumped over, afraid she would back out if she didn't. As soon as her body was in the air, everything slowed down. She felt like she was flying. She breathed in the fresh air, her body relaxed into the feeling and a smile never left her face. The water splashed against the back of the waterfall and dampened her smiling cheeks while they were still in the air. At some point before they hit the water, Adi glanced over at Levi to see the same free feeling she felt on him. Her hand let go of his so that she could feel the air through her fingers.

That feeling was over before she knew it and her body was emerged in the warm water. Adi opened her eyes, blinking away the water as she looked around under the surface before swimming her way back to the top. Gasping for a breath of fresh air, she swam in a small circle as she looked around for Levi. When she did spot him, her lips formed into an even larger smile than before and she laughed a little. That was what it felt like to be free, finally. She looked up at how far they had jumped and felt the splashing of the water hitting the stream still on her cheeks. Swimming closer to Levi, breathing heavily to refill the air in her lungs again, she grasped his shoulders.

"That was amazing!" She squealed, excitedly. "Oh my god- it was just- I - that was so much fun," she laughed a little, kicking her feet a little to stay afloat the top of the water. "I felt like I was flying- I mean, I was falling but it was so amazing. Everything just slowed down and it was just- I don't even know how to put it into words!" She squealed happily, pulling herself against Levi before she realized it. Her arms wrapped around his neck and she hugged him for a moment. "Thank you for everything. I won't ever be able to repay you," she said against his skin, not even sure he could hear her over the sound of the waterfall.

Leviathan.

Levi let her pull him along in excitement, a laugh escaping him at her rushing to the top. Over some rocks to the top where they could see the forest stretch out for miles in every direction with buildings like dots in the distance of the other kingdoms. He gave a nod to the on three part of her words, barely hearing her over the sound of rushing water, and Adi barely gave him a chance to count before jumping. Holding his hand tightly, Levi followed without a second thought. This was his favorite thing to do as a cub, swim and jump from the waterfall.

The air was cool, his hair dampening with the spray of the waterfall and he looked over to Adi when she let go of his hand. In that moment Levi realized something that made his heart jump to his throat, and it wasn't the fall that caused it. He found himself longing looking at Adi, realizing that this free, brilliant woman was in fact his person. Someone he was destined to me, someone he cared for deeply than orginally thought of. Someone he helped become free, someone he wanted to spend eons with and never get bored of their conversations.

With the realization, Levi felt himself grow warm and in that moment looked at his hands to see his claws and deep emerald scales. His dragon form. He had found true love and was back to his dragon form, and panic instantly set in. Adi had no idea of his dragon heritage, and he had no idea if he could even switch back to that of human. Levi felt his wings open and for moment missed the flying aspect of his life, but then water submerged him. Taking a whole minute before finally surfacing as his normal human self.

Breathing heavily, barely registering that of what Adi had said and looked at her as they both treaded water. Arms wrapping around his neck and she told him thank you for everything, he paused a moment for hugging her back and smiling against her shoulder, "No need to thank me; but-" he paused for a moment and made the decision that now would be the best time. No more secrets and she was going to see him for who he truly is anyway, "There is one more wonder i wish to show you and it is actually flying"

Levi let go of her hug and pulled her to the egde of the water so they could get out, "There is something I have been meaning to show you, or more so tell you, and now I finally can," he stated as he climbed out of the water and move a few feet away from her, "Do not be afraid though, it is because of you I can be myself again," Clarfiying the situation with her before allowing this purple swirl to encase his body. Shifting Levi from that of his mere human body into this beast.

Standing at 12ft tall, long, slender body with brilliant emerald scales and large wings was Levis' dragon form. His body was at least 11ft long, with four legs and a brown mane of hair going from the top of his head down his back, flicking his tail and then going to lay down on the cool grass. Giving a soft, grumble noise to show he wasn't aggressive and looked at her with those same, brilliant blue eyes he had always had. Please do not be afraid, do not be upset, I should be the one thanking you for this He thought to himself and looked at her, prepared for anything.

Adi pulled her body back away from Levi while she treaded water. She wasn't sure she was quite ready to get out. The water was warm, but just cool enough to give her goosebumps. With the high she was on from jumping she felt like swimming all day but she knew they would need to keep moving soon so they didn't get too far behind. Cocking her head to the side as he mentioned actually flying, her eyebrow raising curiously unsure of what crazy plan he had next. She chuckled a little and followed him to the edge of the water with a soft smile still on her lips.

His words seemed to be more confusing as he spoke- what did he have to show her? He could be himself? Before she was able to ask, she climbed out of the water and watched him step away from her. As he transitioned into this large beast she had never seen in person before, Adi stumbled back a little and caught herself on a rock before hitting the ground. Where Levi had stood just a second before was now this large beast- a dragon.

Picking herself back up she felt a bit of fear as she watched this creature flick it's tail. She had no idea what to even think, her thoughts so overpowered by a large thumping in her chest. When he laid down on the grass she looked over him again, still leaving quite the distance between them. Thoughts still failed her having never experiencing or even hearing such stories about a human and dragon hybrid. How had she never heard of this before?

The soft noise that came from him actually relaxed her tense muscles. Her eyes looked over the emerald scales and the same long, wavy hair that Levi had. Maybe it was still the high she was on from jumping or the feeling of warmness and safeness that she felt as she stepped closer to the creature, but the fear faded slowly. Somehow she knew he wouldn't hurt her, so she stepped closer to him slowly and moved towards his head.

Adi looked down at his large eyes, seeing her reflection in the same blue that Levi had. This was Levi. Maybe that was why she wasn't afraid to reach out and touch his cheek, feeling the scales under his fingertips. She swallowed nervously, more unsure of what to say than that of not liking him anymore. Honestly, she was glad he had told her. It was an adjustment, but for her, nothing truly changed. He still had the same blue eyes which meant he was still the same Levi she had grown to enjoy spending time with. "Thank you," she said softly, after a moment, "for showing me who you are."

Leviathan.

He felt so tense for a long time; fearful of rejection or of anything negative she could say. Never would he dream of hurting her, but she is the reason to allow him to go back as himself. Back to the dragon life he had lead for so many years and want more for her to join in him that life. Watching the fear in her gaze, to the relaxed state soon following after and he gave a soft purr noise when she approached. Feeling her skin across his cheek and curled his long body around them as if to protect her from everything. He was no different than he was before; just now free to show her what his life was truly like.

Then Levi followed with moving back into his original human shape; that was definitely a new sensation he'd have to get use to. Suppose the spell had lasting effects on his body that now allowed him to move between the two. Levi smiled at Adi and then to hug her, picking her up off the ground before placing her back down on the grass, "Thank you so much, Adelaide, that witch had turned me human after messing with her and finding you has allowed me to return as myself," he said with such joy before then giving a playful bow, "I am what is known as the Dragon of the Mountains; my family is the last living dragon colony here in the kingdoms. Nothing I told you was a lie either; that is why it sounded so strange," Levi gave a soft chuckle and rubbed the back of his head. Though he wished he could express his joy; but he refrained from squeezing the life out of her.

Watching as Levi returned himself in a human appearance, she stepped back to give him room before she was engulfed in a hug. She laughed a little, caught off guard from the affection but returned the embrace with a smile. Once her feet were back on the ground she stepped back, her clothes were still wet from the stream and waterfall. "Why would the witch do such a thing just because you messed with her?" She wondered aloud. She didn't mind though- it was what led them to meeting in the first place.

"So your family that was separated from you?" She began to ask, but his response answered her question. They were the last dragon family in the kingdom. She had so many questions to ease her curiosity, but wasn't sure where to even start. Adi just smiled at him instead. "I thought you were a little odd. At least I have some explanation now- I was starting to think I befriended a weirdo," she chuckled playfully.

"So.. you can just change back and forth whenever you want?" she asked.

"I'm a bit of a how you say, shitter with my pranks and she got caught in one and thought I deserved a lesson," Levi sheepishly responded to her question and gave a soft chuckle. He was seperated due to that of the witches curse masking who he was and he knew she'd have a lot of new found questions; which he was more than happy to answer fully truthfully.

Then she went on to ask if he could now change back and forth, to which he gave a small shrug and ran a hand through his hair, "I think so now, yes, which is definitely new cause I never had a human form before well the last few years," Levi responded but he wasn't entirely sure. It was new to him but he suspected he would get use to the back and forth eventually. Though then he went to grasp both of her hands and smiled, "But enough chit chat, we can talk as we go! The East kingdom is waiting for us and now we might even be able to fly to the other kingdoms instead of walking,"

The brunette shook her head and smiled- his answer was no less than what she should have expected. He was just the kind of person who would prank a witch and get on her bad side. Although she knew she would and should have more questions, she wasn't sure what else to ask. To her, nothing had truly changed. The same person she knew before he showed her he was a dragon was the same person he was now. She had no reason to view him differently or care about him any less- if anything, she was glad he told her the truth. She knew how it was to hide behind a mask and pretend to be someone you aren't, but he quite literally did for years.

His hands grasping her pulled her back to reality and she laughed at his excitement. "I think you're forgetting that I am not a dragon and I cannot fly," she laughed. "But let's go, I'm starving and ready to finally be there," she chuckled, grabbing her bag from the ground and slipping her shoes back on. The warm air had mostly dried both of their clothes off, but her hair was still damp from the water.

"Honestly, I'm not sure if it's just my luck to find my only friend to be a dragon or if I should consider myself lucky for it," she joked a little as she followed beside him. It explained why he was so good at navigating. He probably got a much better view above all the trees and he could see all of the kingdoms as he flew over them. She wondered what it was like to fly- truly fly, not just the way it was falling from the waterfall.

Leviathan.

"Okay, you may be right about not being a dragon, but I don't mind being a carriage to a lovely girl," Levi mused back to her and let go of her hand. He didn't mind walking, the walk was only another half-day travel, but he longed to fly again. It has been over 20 years since he was able to fly and he yearned to do it again, and show Adi the way of his life. The true way of the wild to be more specific. After all, he was still the same Leviathan just with now more added features like wings and fire breathing action.

He stepped away from her with a playful grin, giving a mock bow to her before shifting back into his dragon side. Giving a purr-rump as he stretched out his long-deep green body and moved his head to her, nudging her to climb on up. Travel would be much faster with flying! Plus, he felt she would really enjoy being up in the air. A sense of freedom came with being up in the air, and that was something he knew the other craved more than anything.

(short post im sorry!)

The transition into a dragon was definitely something that Adi would need to get use to. It didn't quite startle her, but going from the already tall person he was to a long, taller dragon was definitely still a shocker. She chuckled and watched as his head nudged her, urging her to climb on top of him. She raised an eyebrow, a little nerves stalling her for a moment while her hand reach out to touch his dragon skin again.

Adi knew it would be faster and she was sure she would even love it once they started, but anything could happen- she could slip, she could fall, swallow a bug. Glancing around she sighed and climbed onto his back. If she trusted anyone enough to fly with, it would be Levi, and she did trust him, even if her nerves tried to stall her. This was suppose to be a new era of freedom- she might as well take advantage of it.

It took her a moment to figure out how to climb onto his back and where she felt like she wouldn't slide off. Once she was settled where she felt she was safest and her body was clinging against his carefully, she prepared herself for the scariest and most thrilling thing she had ever done in her life. "Just don't drop me, okay?" She said playfully.

He moved to lay down to make it easier for her to climb up and get settled. Feeling her move around on his back, making sure she didn't sit too close to his wings, and giving a small shiver through his body. The only time he ever gave rides was for the young hatchlings and they weren't as soft and squishy as she was. Waiting for her to get settled and safetly on, he couldn't help the trill noise that escaped him at her playful words. Oh he wouldn't dream of dropping her and even if she did fall off; he'd catch her without a second thought.

Levi then stood up to his height, stretching out his wings before they began to beat rthymically and gave a few hops before taking off. The wind was warming up because of the rising sun, and the ground below them got smaller and smaller. Tall trees became specks of dust in the sky and the waterfall looked to be a puddle to compared to before. The clouds soon came within range, Levi brushing against the fluffy, water-filled beings and their coolnesses was like that of a pillow. Though some how much more wet than a pillow.

The Eastern kingdom wasn't built like that of the West. They where more spread out with hatch roofs, wood buildings and dirt roads. People milled about from place to place while others shipped goods back and forth between the other kingdoms. With flight it was much faster than walking, and Levi had to make sure he wasn't spotted. So, the emerald beast landed near the edge of where the forest ended and the heather and wheat began. Not a far walk, but much closer than before.

Oh how he had missed being in the air and seeing those sights once more.

Lifting off was the scariest part. She wasn't sure what to expect, but she was afraid they were lifting off a little off balance and the last thing she wanted was the tumble over the side. As soon as they were past the trees and far enough up that she felt they were stable again, Adi was mesmerized by the views. The further up in the sky they got, the smaller everything down below was. The giant trees were little specs, the large waterfall was a pool. Everything that seemed so huge while she was standing next to it now seemed so far away.

The air was warm and blew through her hair that was thankfully still pulled behind her so it wasn't smacking her in the face with the wind. She still held on tightly to Levi, but her body was a bit more relaxed as she looked around while they flew. She was lost for words at the beauty. She could see so much up there- the small houses, the trees, the waterfall. She was sure there were people down there walking around but they were too high up to see them. Her favorite parts were the clouds. As they got near them she could feel the dampness, but they were soft. She always imagined they would just be like these fluffy vapors that dispersed once you touched them, but they didn't. They were soft and fluffy- even better than any pillow she had ever used and wanted to reach out to touch them.

Once he began to lower them back to the ground and land, Adi tucked her head back down so she wouldn't catch any of the tree limbs or leaves in her hair. Once his wings stopped flapping, the brunette slid off of him and stepped away. She still wasn't even sure what to say. She wondered if this was all a dream. That would make more sense. They ran away and she was still asleep— the waterfall and dragon and flying was all a dream she was having, surely. Still, she couldn't help but smile excitedly after getting off of him and realizing she was on safe ground again. "That was amazing- I don't even know what to say!"

Upon landing, Levi waited for her to step down from his back before shifting back with this joyus look on his face. Grasping Adis' hands in his excitement, "I don't either; I've missed this so much and I cannot thank you enough for finding me when you did," he replied with this giddy little bounce before implusively placing a kiss on her cheek, "Without you I wouldn't be able to be me again; thank you for being my friend and my person," He then let go of one hand to pull her along to the dirt path that lead up to the Eastern kingdom.

The smell of freshly baked goods started to become stronger the further in they went. People carrying sacks of barely and wheat moved by them, not a carriage to be seen but instead more bicycles where popular here. Pulling along wagons along, children scurried by and most of all it seemed like the ruling family was out and about today. They looked like average people, Queen Sandra at the head of the group with her two daughters Princess Francesca and Princess Tiana. They were dressed in their normal attire of ball gowns, but not as flashy as they usually are.

The kingdom seemed so peaceful with very happy citizens that greeted their rulers like an old friend. Levi then turned to Adi to explain to her, unsure if she had ever met anyone from the Eastern kingdom, "Thats Queen Sandra, she rules alone since her husband had passed and with her daughters Francesca and Tiana. Tiana is next in line for being queen,," He explained with a smile as he nodded in greeting to them as they passed.

Caught off guard by his lips against her cheek, Adi hardly had time to process it before he was pulling her along towards the kingdom. A smile set in on her face as they neared the city, eyes glancing over the plants and her nose peeking at the smell of fresh goods being baked. Unlike where she was from, carriages weren't around but people were riding bicycles. She had one at the castle that she loved but couldn't ever take it out with her to the town. Maybe she'd get herself one here. She did enjoy riding.

Spotting the Queen, nerves rushed to her stomach and she bowed her head down low, reaching behind her to pull the hair to help cover her face. She had met the Queen and her daughters a few times. Although it had been awhile she didn't want to recognize being caught by them. If they recognized her she was sure to be taken back to her own kingdom. Adi nodded quietly, her head still low to avoid their gazed while they walked.

Once they passed she let out a fresh breath of air and relaxed her shoulders. Maybe running to these other kingdoms weren't the best idea if other rulers would be out walking the streets and possibly recognizing her. As much as she always begged her parents to, they would hardly go out on the city.

Not worried as much about them recognizing her since they were behind them, Adi's eyes were back up and peering all around while she watched people riding past them and shopping for the freshly baked goods and other treats the market was selling. "Everyone seems so happy here," she said with a smile. She wondered if she would ever be able to start a life like the ones here. She saw couples holding arms and eating together or walking side by side, much like Adi and Levi were. They seemed to have no worries. Would she someday get that freedom without worrying about being caught?

Adis' behavior was strange to him; he had assumed she never met the royals of either kingdom as she stated she never got to leave the house. Yet she behaved in a way that seemed nervous, keeping her gaze down and her shoulders where tense until they passed. Levi gave a curious look at the other but didn't seem to question it just yet. Suppose it was just nervousness from being around royalty, or jitters being away from her home and seeing something new. It was quite the large change for her in the last few hours; from him being a dragon to being outside of her home freely. He could understand being slightly fearful of that sort of thing.

"The Eastern kingdom is a very joyous place. The royals like to know their subjects and are often walking around the city; and theres a job for everyone. They're ruled as a democracy so everyone has a say in what happens to the kingdom," Levi responded with a small nod; this place always gave an air of hospitality but the first time he had came here it wasn't so joyous. He was glad to see such a positive change in the kingdom since then.

Levi then followed her gaze to where she was looking at couples. Some eating together, walking together, just enjoying a time and he gave a curious look. Human relationships always confused him as they where drastically different from that of dragons. They mated for life, showed physical affection often and he didn't quite understand the difference between a friendship or a romantic relationship with human beings. They alinged so similarly to each other but yet had very few differences. Still, he gave a tilt of his head before going to hold Adis' hand like that couple had been doing; feeling this might be the right move or he could be entirely wrong.

"That sounds.. perfect. And people just live with them visiting and knowing they can help make the laws? The western kingdom is so different," Adi said quietly, her eyes still browsing around the city. Although she had visited all the other kingdoms it was only to the castle. She never got to explore their cities like she had the western kingdom. It was strange.. they seemed almost the opposite.

People in the western kingdom were happy most of the time, and they lived well. But she never saw them riding bikes and sharing fresh goods and chatting with strangers. It was strange to see that now. Feeling her hand being taken up by Levi's she looked down at them and then at him. She gave a small, awkward smile before turning her face towards the smell of baked apples.

Stopping in front of a small cart that was selling freshly baked sweets, she looked over the fruity pastries and beautiful designed bread, but there wasn't any meat. "Where do you eat here? That has meat?" She asked, pulling him along more. It wasn't awkward holding his hand, but she wasn't quite sure if he knew what he meant by it anymore than she did, and that made her a bit nervous— mostly because she hadn't ever had a relationship with someone before, so holding hands was new to her. She didn't want to blur the lines.

Letting go of his hand while they walked, she pulled her hair back over her shoulders so it stayed out of her face while they looked for food and he showed her more of the kingdom.
