(( soooo sorry idk why but the alerts for this didn't show up idk why? ))
Ethan tried to get some sleep. It didn't work, his mind was on Jess. Giving up on sleep, Ethan sat up and heaved a sigh. Without letting himself over think what he was doing, Ethan got out of bed and went to his sisters room. He stood outside of the door, staring at the door handle. He could just go back to his room and pretend like this never happened, or, he could go in there and chase whatever feeling he was getting from his sister. He was curious, he wanted to explore what this new feeling was, but he also knew that it could destroy everything, and not just his newfound friendship with his sister. This could destroy his own family, but maybe, just this once, Ethan could be selfish. He chewed on his bottom lip, confused, conflicted. "Screw it," he mumbled to himself. Ethan grabbed the door handle and twisted. He stepped into his sister's room timidly. He had no idea what he was going to get out of this. Did he want to get anything out of this? Ethan had no idea. Instead of dwelling on what and why he was doing what he was doing, Ethan slipped into bed behind his sister. He wrapped his arms around her waist and buried his face in her hair. He took a deep breath and sighed, remembering all of the nights they used to spend like this when they were younger. "I'm sorry Jess," Ethan whispered softly not even knowing if she was awake.
